I am very much disappointed by the way your customer care guys deal with customer and rather than solving problems, they believe in cutting phone calls, not providing calls to seniors, taking calls on hold for a long time n all...I had provided full amount for the full year subscription pack on 19th June'10 with my choice of channels which you discontinued on your own and not ready to provide all the channels and demanding more money to subscribe the channels which i have opted by providing full amount on 19th June which highly unprofessional and unethical on your part.

Moreover, your customer care officer Mr. Ashish is providing me suggestion to move to customer court or fill more money if you wish to see the channels for which I had already paid in advance on 19th June’10 (Receipt for the recharge amount & date and message from your side stating I have opted for 1 year pack is enclosed in my first mail). So I don’t have any choice to move further to the consumer court for the justice. I am not ready for the channels you are providing against my starter 3 pack, in your 6 months Bronze Pack, Punjabi Plus Pack and Kids Plus pack as you are providing less no. of channels in this pack and had already taken full amount for starter pack 3 channels and i have the right to see those channels which i am viewing for the past 6 months.
Recording and proofs are enough to support me for Justice. Thanks for the kind support.

This is not correct as i am not getting the channels i am suppose to get on the starter 3 pack which i have opted for 01 year w.e.f. 19th June'10 to 19th June'11. Request to kindly subscribe the channels as it was earlier in starter 3 pack so that i can avail my long term service pack activation for the full year.

I had already paid all the amount in the starting and now you guys are doing this on your own, which is not correct. If your company changes the requirement, it is meant for the new connection, and not meant for the running connection as in my case legally. I had paid for the channels and urge to kindly activate my all channels as it was there earlier in my starter 3 pack upto 19th June'11 as per my long term subscription pack.

Request to please let me know the status on urgent basis as i am not able to see the channels i am suppose to see for the last few days.

Please find enclosed the receipt of the recharge done on 19th June 2010 for the
long term subscription pack on my account. I am surprised to know by your
message dated 21st Jan'2011 stating " Dear Big TV customer, your 12 months long
Term subscription service at 16.6% discount is over. To repurchase pls recharge
your account and call .....". One side you are confirming also that my
subscription pack is active and simultaneously you are deducting my pack on
daily basis which will end on April rather than ending on 19th June'2011.


I am very much disappointed by such an unprofessional approach of working by
your team members. I had called three times on 19th June'2010 (which was stated
on your records) itself just to confirm that my long term service pack has been
activated which you have also confirmed by your message, than why are you
deducting my long term subscription pack on a daily basis and without my
concern? Whats the advantage i got from subscribing a long term pack?


I had also requested yesterday to customer care via call to look into the matter
urgently and convert the same upto 19th June'11 otherwise i don't have any other
option to move to consumer court against the same.

Hoping a positive reply from your end within 24 hours.

Pack once confirmed should not be taken back without money back or by providing full channels as earlier. Be cautioned for the next time when u gona be recharge ur Reliance Digital TV recharge by long term subscription pack, it was only for three to four month actually by paying full year amount...

    relaince has charged me extra for installation. Thr first complaint was made on 5.1.11. They promissed to refund the monet within 48hrs but its been more than 18days its not yet credited. I call them everyday an they tell the same thing within 48hrs it will be solved but still no result. I even informed them that if the complaint is not solved ill go to the consumer court but still they neglected the issue and just because they are not crediting my money my line is been suspended everyday for which i have to pay extra to release my conection. kindly help me solve this problem as im unable to accaept the level of thier negligance and need some compansation for what i have gone through these 18-20days.

      on 4 january 2011 i bought reliance big tv and opted diamond channel package.
      though vh1 channel is included in the channel package selected i'm not able to watch it. when i call customer care their delayed response was broadcast problem which doesnot exist in any other dth service providers. why don't they provide alternative sports channel when they cannot broadcast vh1 channel. customers have paid for it.
      Another problem is while switching channels from remote the stb hangs every 5 minutes. when complained i was asked to switch off and to turn on the stb. so now i do this every 10 mins or whenever stb hangs. i am extremely unsatisfied by their service and reqest them to kindly refund.

        i call to customer care ,to activate business pack. he told me ofter 15 minutes it will be activated. but ofter 1 hour also it was not activated. then i again call to customer care. then he said that it has take complaint about that. but he not asked or noticed me that
        rs 175 rs is charged. your serivice boys cameto my house, then they solve tha problem.
        but next day, demanded service is stopped, then i again call to customercare. repeatedly so many times, they are all not responding me properly. still my account is rs 91 nagative balance. and business packages not caming

        i hope you are solve this problem

          Even we have the worst experience with Reliance company always.Be it be Mobile service or Big TV.It must be renamed as " BIG TROUBLE" instead of "BIG TV".They never attend the issues or troubles of a customer after sale.They promise and lot and deliver nothing.I wonder how they manage to survive even after so many complaints.They even charge more than they commit. Its sad that we are caught in the trap of reliance again.
          They must be penalized for their man handling and loss of all the customers.Their toll free nos never connect so that they do not have to listen to our complaints.Poor customer service reps gets all the abuse from irate people like us.

            My SmartCard No. - 2005 8258 4347 Customer Name - Parinay Jain Contact No.- [protected]

            I have raised a request to refund the amount in my amount which was mistakenly deducted through Request No.[protected].
            dated -19- JAN -2011. I was informed that the amount will be refunded within 48 hrs and the services will be resumed.

            But this has not been done till the time i am writing this mail .i.e. on 22nd Jan (even after 48 Hrs).

            Point No. 2 On talking to the customer care i came to know that the techinician has also charged for extra cable though there was no extra cable provided by the technician. I want to know how can you deduct extra amount from my account only taking the words of technician ?
            There was no receipt given to me by your technician for the extra cable So on what document proof is the amount deducted from
            my account.

            Even the Customer Care representative ,he gave his name as 'Saroj" , was not properly attending my call and misguiding me
            telling that the technician is correct in charging for the extra cable in spite of me saying that he has not provided any extra cable
            and there is no documentary proof of it.

            Reliance Big TV — Improper amount deduction

            The worst customer service I ave ever seen or experienced. I am calling CC for lat 2 months, but with no result. I sent mail to [protected]@bigtv.co.in but they does not feel it ncessary to replay with explanation.

            Here is thread of my mail to Reliance BIG TV:

            Hi,

            When I made the last call to customer care, I was told the complaint has been closed by one of your ireesponsible engineer citing reason 'inadequate information' or someting like that. That does feel it necessary to give a feedback to client or a put a proper reason. Moreover, that fellow/ might be the whole pathetic team of RBTV feels that it's not necessary to get in touch with customer before closing a complaint.

            Like lot of others frustrated RBTV customer, I am still waiting a proper explanation for my improper account calculation.

            Last 2 months I am calling, still I have not get a proper explanation or resolution for the problem I am facing. There is no replay for the mail also I sent to you guys. Now the situation is that floor supervisors intentionally avoid call and CE tries to convince by giving lame reasons for reliance deducticting more amountas frm customer.

            I feel you all are ther most shameless cratures or corporates. Read all the complaints lodged below so that you all feel a little ashamed of yourself (I doubt i[censored] all have skin.) .

            May I know who can held accountable for such a pathetic service to customer?

            Dear Mukesh Ambani/ BIG TV:

            First of all let me tell you, as a customer of Reliance BIG TV, I am
            very much frustrated. TV service is good, but customer care
            service is pathetic and horrible. Is it intentional or unprofessionalism?

            Let me give my BIG TV ID:[protected]

            Now the story:

            Since last 3 months I am call BIG TV customer care executives to
            provide me with details and explanation of my BIG TV
            account which I feel getting wrongly calculated. I asked for an
            explanation and asked to correct this but without any
            postive results. In this last 3 months, I have called customer care
            almost more than 15 times, just not to mention the
            valuable time I have wasted. Each time a client calls customer
            care, he/she has to waste 30-45 mins to expalin the same
            problem/issue to different excutives. Ultimately in last one month I
            have spoken with 3 floor supervisor - Swetha,
            Chiranjeevi and Prasad. All of them assured me that my problem will be
            solved within 2 days and I will get reply from
            them in my mail id. But these were just empty words. I think They get
            a good training how to just make a fool out of
            customer. Till now the whole episode has been very frustrating and pathetic.

            Each time I explained to them my rechagred details -

            I have taken South pack in the month of September 2008. As per offer
            provided that time, I am availing 1 year free package.
            I have taken 2 add on packs - ZTV and Z Cinema pack for whcih I used
            to pay Rs. 50- pm.In the month of Jan 2009, Rs.15- was
            due. I recharged with Rs. 200 on 21 Jan 2009 and Rs. 15 was deducted

            Out of Rs. 185, Rs. 50 was deducted on 21 jan 2009 for the period of
            21 Jan '09 - 20 Feb, 09. Remaining balance was Rs. 115-.
            With Rs. 115 left as balance, this 2 add on pack should have continued
            as 21 Feb '09- 20 Mar '09 (Rs. 50), 21 Mar '09 - 21 Apr, 09
            (Rs. 50) and at the end of 21 Apr 2009, balance should have been Rs.
            15. But by 5th Apr 2009, I started getting sms, TV message that
            my account balance is -ve. And by 13/14 Apr 2009(aprx), both the
            channels were disconnected. Though I was having full balance.

            I lodged a compalint that time, but I did not get any result from
            Reliance BIG TV. I my was lost and moreover I did not get the service
            for which BIG TV took my money.

            As channels were not available, I rechaged again with Rs. 100/-. Rs 71
            (Rs.56 for period 21Apr 2009 - 20 May 2009 + Rs 15 due). Balance was
            Rs. 29. The money was deducted till 21 May 2009. But by 15th May 2009,
            I started getting msg that I have - ve balance.

            From the above details, you also should have understood that some
            wrong calculation is happening on your side.

            I asked for this expalnation and rectification by informing to Big TV
            customer care executive and floor supervisor since April 2009 but till
            now
            the situation is same.

            Yesterday I got sms/msg on TV from BIGTV saying that I have balance -
            Rs. 95 which you can understand from above details that a totally
            wrong one.
            From 21 May 2009 till 16 June 2009, the - ve balance should be - Rs.
            21 (for your sake, 27 day x 2 channelx 0.93 (per day charge) - Rs.29).
            But your system
            says - Rs 91. And you hav discontinued ZTV and Z Cinema pck today.

            Can you please provide me expalnation how calculation is happening on your side?

            Will you give back the money you have deducted wrongly from the Rs 200 recharge.

            I want an clear explanation ASAP.

            i am very very disappoint to your bad response my no:[protected], last month 23 mi paid 150+25+25 total 200 but my 175 wrongly transferred to technical side. i interate customer care they told it is company's fault and very shortly your money put your account (24 hours) today is November -06, but till time i have not get my money . it is serious issue i cold customer care more than 15 times every time they told it is our fault definitely your money will get your account. it is cheating. take necessary action

            i have rechared yearly subscription, but they have not updated in the system and dedected monthly basis. which i losts the 5 months service. now they are asking me to pay more for subscribe the DTH service.

                I wish to bring to your kind notice that I have on 29/10/10 placed an order for Reliance BIG TV through a dealer from APPCO. A payment of Rs.1390 has also been made and the cheque duly collected. The representative who booked the order is Mr. Nitesh - 00138-[protected]. The last digits represent his telephone no. and the phone is never answered.

                As per the copy of order given to me the installation will be completed within 7 working days. Call from him on 18th of November confirmed that he would be here on 21st, but he never turned up or gave a call.                   I procured BIG TV 3 months back. First problem is my setup box happened after 7 days with repeated follow up. Majority of my time gone only to follow up customer care[protected]. This is useless.                   I was watching my TV today, suddenly my TV went off, showing an error, i did a factory reset with my remote control, it was unable to respond and showed an error. I called the customer care and they said they will charge me Rs. 175, as I have disturbed the connection. I asked the representative the reason for charge and the rep started shouting and screaming at me, I asked him for again he said you have only done something and you have to pay for this. I ask you is this the kind of customer service you give and this is not the only one rep, I called second time and the second rep was also responding the same way. The first rep's name was Tarun and I do not remember second rep's name. 175 Rs. is not a big deal but my question is why do I have to pay for what I have not done. If you guys are unable to fix the issue, I request you guys to take away the set top box and return my 1000 Rs, otherwise I'm going to consumer forum, mark my words, I mean what I say. If you want you can pull, your call recordings, I called twice between 8.45-9.15 p.m. on 17/5/2011.                     When i called the big TV cutomer care they are saying we do not have any ref and said i cannot help on this.

                    I have recharged success message on my Mobile saying "your Account has been recharged with Rs. 500.0"

                    Please look. Is it possible to get return money from Reliance Infocomm.

                    Reliance Infocom — big tv service not given

                    I paid amount of rs 400.00 on 14.04.2010 through my HDFC. Credit card and my services of DTH restarted. but on 23.04.2010 the services again disconntected. due to urgency i again paid rs. 200.00 through my HDFC credit card . THEN i AGAIN AND AGAIN informed the situation, but on 28.04.2010 my services were disconnected. thus till today after paying rs 600.00 my sewrvises are disconnected. either pay my all money back or resume the services, with compention of 1400.00rs. as I have to take local cable connection.

                      Reliance Big TV customer care executive asked me to deposit an amount of Rs.1500 (after his calculations) on lieu of a 6 month platinum pack connection.I also paid Rs.500 as an initial recharge. That makes a total of Rs.2000.

                      I requested for a platinum pack.

                      The customer care executive actived a 3 month pack. Deducted Rs.200 for extra wiring that was paid already to the connection guy from Reliance Big TV.

                      I have all the receipts with me.

                      I expect an action from Reliance. They CAN NOT swidle money like this from people.

                      BIG TV — FRAUD

                      SIR THEY PROMISED FOR THREE MONTH FREE SERVICES BUT IT IS NOT THERE
                      Sir i take plan 2190/Rs but after 2 Months almost all prime are close when i call to customer care they say for prime channel i did not register that is totaLLY FRAUD RELIANCE ALWAYS do the same now what i do?
                      Sir i took 4990 package, after six months i came to know premium package 2190 is active for me. And they suddenly disconnected. This is completely a case of FRAUD. Please anybody suggest me what do i do?
                      I have taken BIG TV connection vide smart card No:[protected] &[protected] at the same address under Multi Set top Box Option in Sep 2008. Acc. to the scheme in the second connection only half of recharge required.In smart card No:[protected] I was recharging as per the scheme but it is not working for even full month.When I contacted the customer care they told me that in my form their installation engineer has not entered the connection under Multi Set top Box Option.At the time of installation I have repeatedly requested their installation engineer to enter the same in Multi Set top Box Option & he said that he has entered it. Now their customer care people are saying that now it is not possible.Tell me why I should pay excess for the fault of their engineer.Kindly help me & resolve the issue.

                      I have taken subscription of Big TV DTH service at my residence. As per the scheme given by the company that if two connections were taken at the same address than only half of the recharge would be required in second set top box(MULTI SET TOP BOX OPTION). My Smart card No’s are[protected] &[protected] and I have taken connection under MULTI SET TOP BOX OPTION in SEP 2008.At that time I have told the company Installation Engineer that the connection is under MULTI SET TOP BOX OPTION. Now I came to know from customer care that my smart card no’s are not under MULTI SET TOP BOX OPTION. As per the customer care advice I complaint the matter to the retailer & he is inspected the installation site but still my scheme has not been activated.
                      Why should I pay more for the fault of other. Pls help me.

                      i have recharged my BIG TV amount of 2316 for one year subscription on 12th August 2009. My account was sucessfully updated. i want to Activated Starter 3 pack for one year. i was missed to update the information on BIG TV customer care on 12th, hence i was called customer care on 13th August and updated the One year pack subscription. customer care said that your account in not sufficient(they have detected the rent for one day), so updated the account and then call. i have recharged the account of Rs. 20 and called to customer care. they confirmed that our one year subscription has activated. now we have checked account and found no One year subscription has activated on our account. i have again called customer care but they are denying for call. This is big bluff which these companies are doing. please suggest what should we do?
                      what is the control of Goverment on these type of companies?

                      Iam the valuable customer of BIGTV for more than a year.Right from the begining iam facing issue on installation and also in POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE EVEN FOR A SIMPLE THINGS.The BIG TV Customer service will raise a complaint and they will resolve the ticket as per there wish without informing the customer.I have already spoken to the big Leads in the organisation but till now they are saying that it will be resolved in 24 hours but believe me its a total waste!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                      BIG TV DONS PLEASE HAVE A LOOK INTO THIS TYPE OF ISSUES SINCE YOU HAVE A GREAT NAME IN THE WORLD>PLEASE GIVE CUSTOMERS A VERY GOOD SERVICE OTHERWISE IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE IT PLEASE LET THE WAY TO OTHERS>>>>>>>>
                      Appco marketing executives visit many homes and collect cheque. After that they vanish. One cannot sue them because there is no written contract. An innocent victim voluntarily gives cheque to them. They simply encash it. Big problem with Big TV is that when they advertise they should give their distributors' address in the advertisement. In the absence of it, these kind of so called aggressive marketing firms try to hoodvink innocent people. I write this because I was about to fall victim to this firm. However, presence of mind saved me.
                      dear sir,
                      I am NARENDRA KUMAR working in employees provident fund organization head office, ministry of labour, bhavishya nidhi bhawan, 14, bhikaji cama place, new delhi-66 as SECTION OFFICER.
                      ON 27th april, 10, two MBA students (both female) namely: tanvi & sarika came my office & told that reliance big t.v has launched a scheme for who has more than seven years experience or if your cheque book contains tag no.10. I told them that i am not interested because i am paying 150 per month to my cable operator.

                      Sir, after that both of them told me that if i take reliance big t.v from open market it will be at the cost of Rs.3790/=. now because tag no. of my cheque book was 10 so they said this is a special discount for me for Rs.2000/= & pay only 1490/= by cheque & 300/ for installation charges. they also told me if i take this facility in the name of my wife then 10 audio channels will be free & 4 months subscription will be free. there are three schemes under which channels will be provided:-
                      127-97channels
                      149-114channels
                      165-125channels,
                      And after only 125/ will be paid for recharging coupons in every month. sir, both of them were from M/S S.R SALES CORPORATION, 201, OFFICE NO.1, NEAR INDIAN OIL PETROL PUMP, NARAINA. On explaining the scheme, i asked them that whether it is not available in open market with the authorized dealer for same cost. they said no uncle, if you buy from authorized dealer he will charge Rs.3790/=. it is also told me that it is silver plus pack+10audio channels & MPEG4 with (D+S+R+LNB+S.C)I Don't know full abbreviations of these words.they also said that it will be installed within one week. i given them a cheque bearing no.518020 dt./27 4/10 for Rs.1490/=of SBI.
                      sir, when i enquired from the market & authorized dealers of reliance big t.v, they also told me that yes the total cost is Rs.1790/= & same facility will be there. i have also enquired from the authorized dealers of reliance big t.v, they said if you take from me it will be only 1650 including installation charges. After knowing the same i surprised that i have cheated by a fraud co. & fraud representatives. when i contacted to both the girls they said no there is no scheme in market to provide it in Rs.1790/. sir,
                      it is also noticeable that my t.v set is a old one & there is no point for DVD players so how can it will set up with your R.BIG T.V .they said no uncle, there is no question to old or new it will be set up every model. but when engineers of authorized dealer came to my house they said that your t.v set is old model & there are not given any facility to connect this cable & for connecting the same one S.R cable for Rs.100/= is required. i paid to engineer Rs.400/=. sir, its mean that total Rs. paid by me are 1890/=.i had also enquired about this from your customer Care service on toll free no.[protected], they informed me that this is a fraud co. & there is no business partnership with them. so you lodge a FIR against them & take legal action also.
                      sir, now i am coming for main gists of the case:-
                      (1). whether S.R. SALES CORPORATION is your business partner.
                      (2).whether it is a fraud/cheater to cheating like us people through college student.
                      (3).whether R.big t.v is not available at the cost of rs.1650/ with installation charges from the authorized dealers.
                      (4).my neighbours have got it with Rs.1650/only.
                      (5).why this co. given me false information about the scheme.
                      (6).when i contacted to mr. wasim ali executive area manager of co. for enquiring these querries, he also told me false information that monthly subscription will be only 127/=(125+2Rs. tax).
                      (7).whether mr. wasim ali [protected] & director- mr. vikas dua- [protected] are attached with these type of cheating act by breaking the trust of people & also in the act of down up to your reputed co.
                      Sir, I demand that a strong action should be taken against this co. & declared as blacklisted. i am frustated so i have no interest to reliance big t.v. i request you to direct to them to return my money of Rs.1890/= immediately & disconnect the connection immediately.
                      my mrs. Meena has also written in customer acquisition form no.[protected] "That terms & conditions are not readable because these are written in very small letters & i don't read & understand the english so i am not bounded with terms & conditions".
                      so, it is clear that my mrs.meena is not bounded to your terms & conditions. At the last I again demand that a legal action should be taken against the co. & return back my total money which I have paid to these type of cheaters & discontinue the connections immediately.
                      If no action will be taken on my complaint, my trust upon the reliance co. will be broken. it is also requested that inform me with in three days. if i will not received any satisfactory reply/action, i will free to go consumer forum/court of law/& intelligence agencies also for handling this case. no further notice will be served.

                      My services suddenly stopped, it says poor/intermediate signal and they are demanding Rs 170 from me for attending the problem. They are randomly selecting people and switching off their signal and demanding Rs 170 to restart again. Same dish, same wires, same set top box how come signal is lost now?????????

                      Any organisation if you are active customer, they should first check the problem, if there is any fault then they should cherge for repairing. But here, these guys are asking money upfront. Because they know, there is no problem. As soon as u pay, they will activate again.

The customer care executives are untrained people just sitting for name sake without any knowledge of their own product and services. I have two connections of BIG TV, and am totally cheated.Now, i wish to switch over to different service provider, but can not as i have invested more than Rs.4000 in this bull and the dont event refund.

                        Reliance Big TV — no extra channels

                        Will I be able to as my TV set has very few channels and no more view the extra channels that Reliance BIG TV offers;
                        I, the indersigned is using your BIG TV since long. At intial stage, I had paid monthly Rs:200/- then after I regularly recharging the Rs:300/- per month for extra channels as per advice of local recharging agent. Recently, one of your rep visited to me and informed all the channells of BIG TV will be available for re-charging of Rs:300/- except NEO sports, NEO cricket, TEN sports and ZEE premier.

                        But I don't know what service you are giving and it is surprise to note that the following channels are viewing before re-charging in this week are stopped :-

                        ZEE CINEMA, STAR MOVIES, ZEE CAFE, AXN, UTV BINDASS, GEMINI CINEMA, FOX CRIME, FX.

                        Accordingly, I contacted your toll free number just now and your rep informed me that some of above mentioned channels are not covered in my paid packs and some of channels having technical problems and it will be rectified with in 12 hours. But it is very surprise to note that the ZEE CINEMA, STAR MOVIES, AXN, UTV BINDASS, FX are not coming since one week after its re-charging. The second thing is as per my payment and as per your representative conversation we have to receive all the channels except NEO sports, NEO cricket, TEN sports and ZEE premier.

The busy tone will also repeat when calling midnight or early morning, the executives will not accept our call, weather waited many hours, ...

                            I have registerd a complaint for re locating my reliance big tv connection by calling the customercare number. They have provided me a Req. ID and said, the issue would be resolved within 24 hrs of time.

                            But within 24 hrs, i never received a call or any updates from them. Also, I called the customer care number again and again. They just put me in hold for hours without a proper reply to me. Any person in the customer care section and technical section do not have a proper idea and they speak as they like.

                            BIG TV — Bad customer care service

                            Hi,

                            I am existing BIG TV customer(ID[protected], I recharged my account with 200 Rs, even after the 3 days the amount details are not updated on my BIG TV account.

                            I trying to reach BIG TV customer care on[protected], I getting this call connected once in 100 times..

                            3 times the call was on hold for more than a hour time.

                            Its a bad experience from BIGTV customer care. Please rectify the service ASAP.

                            Otherwise I suggest we need a serious action on BIG TV Unit.

                            Here my few words, I have ever seen this much bad experience with any other service.

                            I am not satisfied with Big TV ( DTH ). Its channel list is very high compare to
                            airtel. No Regional channel like ETV Jharkhand/ Bihar.

                            I want to replace it. If possible then plz return my money back. I don't want

                              My parents have a BIG TV DTH connection at their residence. They live alone and TV is the most favorite pastime for them. The BIG TV connection is in my father’s name: Mr Nakul Chandra Bhuyan and the smart card number is:[protected]. There is some problem in receiving the signal from 21/12/2010. Initially my father thought it may be due to no account balance. He charged it with a top up amount of INR 200. But the problem was not account balance but some other technical issues and the problem continued. One complaint was lodged with BIG TV customer care on 23/12/2010. The complaint number is[protected]. Surprisingly, this complaint was closed without resolving the problem. The amount in the account including the top up was INR 280 as on 23/12/2010. A fresh complaint was lodged in 27/12/2010 and the complaint number is[protected]. Since then me and my brother are calling up BIG TV Customer care like a ritual every morning and evening on an average twice daily and the response always is we will resolve it today. Unfortunately, that today never happened and our parents had to suffer the lonely evenings till date. Today it was a height o[censored]n-professionalism of the RELIANCE BIG TV professionals who asked us to recharge the account again and then only they will resolve the issue. We knew almost for sure that they are not going to resolve the issue for some reason (our best guess is they do not have good service in that particular region) and what can be more foolish then to recharge the account again. We still have balance in our account which is not used from 23/12/2010. Even if they are deducting the per day charge of INR 5 without resolving the issue that also makes it only INR 50. It is very shocking for a consumer and so disgraceful for a company like RELIANCE. Today we have decided to buy another DTH connection. How the company wants to compete in the market and sustain in the long run?

                              I totally agree with you. I am also facing same problem. Let us Unite and advice our friends and collegues not to go for Reliance Big TV.

                                I have Purchased this connection on 16 Dec 2010 at 1590 offer ,
                                I have received a starter Kit of Rs 690 + eTop of Rs 900 ,
                                I Have also received the SMS of Rs 1590 From Reliance 51234 No. ,
                                I have also avail the service of Jumbo English & English Movie
                                on 25 Dec ,but on 28 Dec My Service of English Movie and Jumbo is Unsubscribed
                                I am surprised , then i called [protected] they said Server is slow
                                ,we cannot see ur account information right now ,on 27th Dec I again ring ,
                                Now the person asked me to wait after every 2 minutes he asked me to wait ,
                                I waited for about 17 minutes , after which he tells me "you dont have balance in your Acc"
                                then he transferred the call to the Backup Department and said "if your balance is deducted
                                without any use,then u will get it back" i asked when he said he cannot tell the time .
                                I again Ring on 29 Dec Same Answer ,
                                I again ring on 30 Dec Now He Said u got 1190 Pack I was Amazed What the hell is he Saying ,
                                I Said"I HAVE STARTER KIT IN MY HAND OF 690 MRP ,THE SMS FROM RELIANCE OF 1590 OFFER
                                & U R TELLING ME THAT I AM AVAILING THE OFFER OF 1190 ,
                                HE SAID WHAT THE SYSTEM IS
                                SHOWING SIR ,HE THEN AGAIN FORWARD MY CALL TO THE BACKUP DEPARTMENT TAKEN MY PHONE NO
                                AND SAID THE SAME THING .

                                  i am Ankur Johari, i am using Reliance Big TV from past approx 1 year, few days back on 8 th of jan 2010 some technical problem started, i Register my compliant on 11th of jan 2010, and yet the problem is not solved i am calling to customer care daily from past 10 days, but yet the problem is not solved .
                                  The services are very poor , i have asked to disconnect the connection after all this , but they are not giving the money back , neither they are solving the problem.i had spoke to sandeep and any other seniors.

                                      I am writing this with utter satisfaction of your service & technology.

                                      i am with BIG TV for 15 months. Today afternoon all the channels are showing error message" signal Lost ". But Sun TV & VH1 are perfectly available. When i called Customer care they asked me to pay Rs.175 for rectifying this ISP issue.

                                      why should i pay for Your problem. if there is anything wrong with my dish, how can i get SUN TV & VH1??????

                                      More over it's looking like a cheating. you people are creating problems by your side and asking me to pay for that. i never expected this cheating attitude from RELIANCE ( a brand recognised by all ). i really shame on Relaince BIG TV. The service pay is equal to one month subscription pay.

                                      i am really planning to dicontinue your service. i hope there will be somany people facing the same kind of issue.

                                      Even i have TV worth of Rs.14000, the company service charge is Rs. 150 only. i never expected this cheating attitude from Reliance Big TV.

                                      RELIANCE BIG TV LTD. — Reinstallation Problem

                                      I had purchased Dish Cable of Reliance Big TV from M/s. Baldev Hardware on 26.9.2009. Now I had relocate the my house due to this there is signal problem, I had complainted for that on May 21st and continuously follow to solve the problem for 4 days. After that I have move to my residence at Gujarat for one month. After that I had onece again loged the complain on 21st june for same problem and that they assure me to visit at my residence withing 48 hrs. After 40 hrs I had call for followup that time I have received answer from customer service that yet 48 hrs is not completed, please contat after 48 hrs. Nexday from morning to evening I and my wife both had tried to follow up but in vain. In the evening I had contacted customer service, that time they had confirm that as this complain is for signal problem we have to close the complain and then after that new complain will launch for relocation before that we have to rechage for Rs. 350/- for service charge for relocaton. As per verbal confirmation we had recharged for Rs. 350/- and new complain launch. on 26.06 we had received the call from engineer (Mobile NO. [protected]) asking for Rs. 350 for visiting charges. The had not given their name. As we had denied they refuse to turnup. Till on 26.06 evening the compline is not shorted out.

                                        NOW, I RECHARGED RS. 150/- ON 2ND OF DEC 2010 FOR ONE MONTH. TODAY 17 DEC 2010 AT 09.30 PM WHILE I WAS WATCHING, IT GOT DISCONNECTED AND WHEN I CALLED THE CUSTOMER CARE AT 09.45 PM HE SAID IT WAS ONLY FOR 15 DAYS. WHAT IS THIS NON SENSE? WHEN I ASK ANY EXPLANATION YOUR CUSTOMER EXECUTIVE DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO SPEAK, THEY SPEAK VERY RUDELY. YOUR FIRST PRIORITY SHOULD BE CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AND SERVICE. WHEN RELIANCE ITSELF IS FRAUD THEN HOW CAN I EXPECT YOUR STAFF TO BE POLITE AND HUMBLE TOWARS CUSTOMERS? ISN'T IT?

                                        LET ME KNOW WHO WILL BEAR 4 MONTHS DELAY IN RECONNECTION, NOW 15 DAYS AMOUNT DEFAULTED BY YOU PEOPLE, IF YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW TO GIVE PROPER SERVICE AND KEEP UP YOUR SERVICE WHY DO YOU CHEAT THE POOR PEOPLE?
