Even i have not subscribed for Reliance CRBT service I received a SMS ( Mob no. [protected]) that "Your Subscription to CRBT service has been renewed at Rs.30/- for a period of 30 days" To unscribe SMS. UNSUB 1003 TO 155223.(toll free)"When I send SMS TO UNSUB 1003 TO 155223. MESSAGE IS NOT GOING. (Returned as +155223 No default configuration).
Why are u cheating people like this ...take any action as soon as possible
My mobile number [protected].They did exactly the same thing to me. I lost 30 Rs which I was planning to use on weekends for calling. I called their customer care support but the number *333 is not a valid number, my sim belongs to Uttrakhand circle that means I am on roaming. So I called them using a local reliance number and what I got ?? she told me they can't help me I should go back to my circle and then call *333 again. Ofcourse I can't do it as I am out of state for two months for my internship. So simply I can't even complain.

    Hi All,
I had raised a closure request from my reliance data card (USB) Post paid connection and it was processed with an transaction id/reference no. Someday later a customer service from reliance called me up and asked me if i would re consider it. At that time due to circumstances i was willing to continue it for some 4 or 5 more months i said yes. But my data card was not working.
After that I called them (customer service) up and asked if my connection is restored i was told that you had raised a closure request and it is processed we cannot restore your connection. When i told them about the call i received they asked me for a transaction id/reference no which i did not have as it was not given by the caller, they said we cannot do anything now so i thought it is fine and waited for the final bill. The bill came for the month i should pay (for the month i raised the closure request) and after that another bill came by....
When i inquired about it, I came to know that only my post paid connection was suspended and my services are not as customer, hence the bill will be generated with the full rental. Here is the interesting part, when i told them the above story they said sorry the device will not work (as once postpaid connection is deactivated cannot be reactivated though i received many promises that the connection will be reactivated) but we will charge you until the services are terminated completely. I was offered to change it to prepaid but i refused because of the policy to charge customer with full rental even though they knew very well that the customer has no use with the device that he or she posses.

    Points to remember:
    [protected][protected]
    1. When you want to close the connection make sure that the services+connection is terminated completely (As customer service will not provide you any clear picture when they tell you "yes we have processed your request").

    2. Whenever you raise a request or say yes to a offer/consideration given by customer care do not forget to get a reference no/transaction id.

    3. When a postpaid data card connection is suspended, the device cannot be reactivated, but the full rental bill will be generated without fail every month until you terminate the services completely :). I am still not clear what is meant by suspending and closing/terminating the service completely. (The policy is very unfriendly that you will have no use of the datacard you posses but full rental bill will generated every month. The only option you have to reuse the datacard is that change it to prepaid)

    4. Never trust the customer care to give you enough information ask for it if you have any doubts never assume.

    5. Read the above 4 points again so that you will not forget :)

I am trying to close the my reliance net connection due to my travel, I have tried calling customer care, they route it to some closure team, they never attend the call. I wrote down it to appellate authority regarding this, no response from either. I am not able to find out the stupid service centers as they are hidden in the pits somewhere.

All these process are devise to loot customers. i have already had so many problems while activation and while using the data card, even when you want to close the connection its the same.

Reliance is famous for this. unknowingly i went for this stupid connection.
I am using data card.its worse data card in my life. I call customers care and said to cancel data card they are not cancel my data card service.my data card no [protected].
Myself Bhaskar.M from Kengeri, Bangalore; facing problem in speed of connectivity and requested to cancel my connection. But Reliance customer care and store incharger near my location are not showing interest in developing the service or to disconnect my service. My datacard no is [protected]

IMPORTANT POINTS when you close the Reliance datacard connection. - Comment #2342982 - Image #0
I am unable to terminate my datacard connection. Tried many times to call their customer care number, but of no use. I am paying bill without even using the connection.
Data card number is [protected] and interaction id with reliance is [protected].
Reliance customer care and service is very poor. Do not recommend this service provided anymore.
I have been trying to cancel my Relaince 2G data card connection for last three months. There is no procedure given to close a connection on their website. I kept on trying foolishly with the customer care people, but the cancellation was not initiated.
Finally before a month I successfully got the cancellation tracking number. But since then, I am getting atleast one call from Reliance customer care asking it to upgrade to 4G. I have been very polite in telling them that I have cancelled it, but still they are calling me.
Today I got a call from a customer care person, stating my connection has been automatically upgraded to 4G. I really do no know what to do..
I am seriously going to register a complaint in consumer court and TRAI.
I want to terminate and cancel my reliance postpaid datacard connection. I have sent email twice to [protected]@relianceada.com and till now no response. This is total irresponsibility from Reliance service end.
I have been getting phone calls from Reliance representatives literally forcing me to upgrade from 3G to 4G. For the last two months the 3G is not active, and I am not able to access internet. However, bills are being appended for every month and the balance payable is shown to increase every month, for "no services" offered by Reliance. I had couple of online chats and found them to be futile. I have also written to customer care of Reliance through e-mail, and is of no avail as of now. The only answer given by the representatives is that since my number is active, I continue to get the bills every month. Absolutely ridiculous. Hope to find a permanent solution soon!
I wish to discontinue my data card. My number is [protected] and reln ship no. is [protected]. As early as April 2016 I informed them of my intention of leaving the country. I rang them up at least a dozen times. They told me to pay my May 2016 Bill which I did. After that I have left. Every month my bills are coming . Now a threat has come that a Legal Notice is being served to me for non payment of fees . I have since written to them attaching my letter written in June telling them I cannot be contacted. I tried their customer care toll free number where I have been waiting endlessly. I really regret having taken a dongle from them . I came here to India for 2 days after which I will be going back. I am in a fix as my sister with whom my phone is there is old and cannot handle this . Hope I can solve this before I go!!!

      Sir,

I am broadband wireline customer of Reliance communications for the last on year.
During the past 10 out of 12 months my monthly bills rarely exceeded Rs.880.
However during Jan 2010 I was sent a bill of Rs.7957.00 I had approached the company for details of my usage regarding the time and amount of data traffic which the company was not able to provide. My main use of internet is for using the email. My kids use the internet for completing their homework assignments.

During February I noticed that on some occasions when I tried to login, I was not directed to the log in page but directly connected without login. When I had gone to the homepage I noticed a different user id other than mine and before I could note it down the screen had closed. On some occasions in February 2010 , when I tried to login I was not allowed to log in, and an error message displayed stating that user has already logged in and that access was denied. I had sent a complaint to the customer care but I did not get any reply. Last week when I tried to log in I got a message stating that my account has been temporarily suspended. On further enquiry I learnt that my account had run up a bill of Rs 14500.00 for February 2010 alone. I am confident that my account has been hacked into and used illegally by another Reliance user and Reliance communications has no way of finding out the culpable party. While I had paid tha Jan'2010 bill in good faith that such a thing would not recur, the February bill proved my undoing.

I connect to Reliance broadband connection only through my Desktop at home.
Hence it would be possible to identify the other user who had been illegally using my account and running up such a monstrous usage bill. The Network Interface Card (NIC) has unique physical address even though the IP addresses are shared within an ISP, Reliance communications should be able to provide the details of the user who has been using my account illegally but Reliance customer support team has been parroting that their account ids and pwds cannot be hacked. Unless Reliance tells what mechanism/product it uses to protect user ids and pwds it would be difficult to have faith on the usage billing. While I have asked Reliance communication to terminate their connection, I am at a loss about what to do about the bill amount since Reliance communications data on usage is very sketchy. I do not want such incidents be repeated for other consumers. Our government has given licenses to Reliance communications in the faith that they will be able to protect customer privacy, but Reliance communication has failed to do so.

      Regards

      I.Gunalan

          Hi,

With reference to your mail dated 27/01/10. I would like to request a refund of the amount without further delay.
As mentioned earlier in the mail dated 14/01/10, I do not have am acknowledgement slip.
The only proof of the investment is the bank statement which indicates the debit from my account for the said investment.

If you prefer, I will be glad to FAX / MAIL or HAND DELIVER the copy or even the actual BANK STATEMENT.

Kindly revert at the earliest as this is seriously starting to cause a concern.

          Regards,
          Pushkar.

          Good Evening,

Thank you for the investigation. Kindly allow me to ask the following.

          1) If the units are alloted then what will be the end result?
The reason for this question is the investment was for 3 years which concluded in September 2009. This was unit linked investment. Will this result in an additional lock-in period OR does it mean that the invested funds will be disbursed as per the maturity value?

          2) Will a refund result in non- beneficial investment? i.e. only the original amount?

Kindly allow me to understand the above given scenarios.

          Thanks and regards,
          Pushkar Sunil Rege.

            dear consumer forum,
I have a reliance internet connection. Last month, my net connection was discontinued by the service provider because of non payment of bill due to myself being out of station. Later i was called by the company's representative stating that that my next due payment date will start from the day i pay the bill. But recently i got a bill with old days, i.e. i have been charged for the days during which the service provider has disconnected the service.
It is very shame for company like Reliance which fool customers and try to over charge as per their convenience, rather than customer's convenience.
I request u take up the case so that they donot pass contradictoru information and charge for the service they actuall provide.
You are absolutly write . I had a reliance data card couple months back. and the first bill came for about Rs500 and i paid off the bill but after some days my data card stopped working and when i called them they informed that i have crossed my limit and now the bill is about 6000.i was like WHAT?...then i stopped using it and they sent me a bill about the same charges. I tried to contact customer care but no resolution from thei end. I did not pay the bill and a guy from the local reliance dept called and said that the actual bill is 1861 and there was some value added tax which were added which made the total of 6000. I have never heard of a tax of that amount being added to the bill. Then i tried to clarify with them but no go. I did not pay the money as i was waiting for someone to talk to about it. After a couple of months they sent be a bill of 2000 and asked to pay off as the settlement money. Then they send me a court notice which had the next days date and was asked to pay the money otherwise they will take actions . Hence i had to go forward and make the payment as that was not my problem, the only problem was why did they send such a bill and why did not someone contact me when i was in need to understand the reason of that bill where as they used to call each day in the begining for stupid surveys and what not. Never expected this cheap a behaviour from a big company like reliance. They are The Most Horrible company in India and i would ask everyone not to get associated with this company and if any one happen to have the Contact information about any one from reliance.

              Hi Reliance Broadband+,

I am accepting my defeat today. I can not fight with you guys. You guys are just gone case. Leave apart this serious issue for which now I am following since almost 1 Month, your broadbad connection itself is not working since last evening. When I try broadband+ no signals apears. And when I try hybrid mode signals appears but get error "Remote computer not responding". This is not acceptable man not at all now. Enough is enough.

You know what I lost since 1 month:

              1) Almost 20 Hours talking with diffent variety of animals from Reliance ADA.
              2) Almost 10 hours for writing this mail.
              3) My Mental peace and loving nature.
              4) Work which I can do with good Broadband speed, it took almost 60 more hours.
              5) Today I could not apply to IPO online because connection is not getting established since last evening. This is hell man, hell.

So all in all I lost almost valuebles worth 8 days * 2000 par day + IPO profit. And precious thing "my peace and loving nature".

Now as you guys are not at all listening so why I am writing again and again? Good question right?

Well, tomorrow I will vist Aundh Branch with this all printout. What I will do there is this?

              1) Will return back all their devices and get back my entire money.
              2) Will charge them Rs 20,000/ for my valuable time.
              3) Other things which you can not give me back is "My Peace" but as you guys simply do not respect customer. I will charge 1 laces for that.

Respected People in Cc: Please take strict action against Reliance Communication for troubling people like me by offering such a lost product and worst services. They do not at all listen customer, leave apart respect and resolution.

But as usual there is no resolution and I am sending one screen shot which says how poor the speed is as PING is also not working with google.com.

So just to let you know that until this issue get resolved I am not going to pay the bill for this period. And yes I would give 2 final days to you to resolve this other wise give me my money back and take your hell product back.

I also tried to reach Maharashtra Nodal/ Appeal authority but as usual they are smart enough to not to pick the phone up.

              Hi,

I have done a new mistake to upgrade my Netconnect [protected] to Broadband on 14 Jan at MG Road Branch Pune, I am sorry for that. I spend 1 hour there for any issue but they make me sure that it will get activated in 2 hours after you activate the number.

But it is not activate yet. I am trying to call them and spoke to Vikas, Rahul, Poonam, Amar, but nobody is responding now. This is frustrating. Even they are not picking up the phone. All guys told me to comeback in 30 minutes.

              Can you do sometings ASAP.

My reliance netconnect high speed 1X modem was inactive from[protected]. I came to know that the problem was because of delay in payment by duedate, which was on[protected]. I paid the bill on[protected] at Baroda, Chakli Circle, Gotri Road branch. The service was not activated. Again I had to visit the customer service on[protected], 03:00 PM. When they checked, my outgoing service was barred. They said it will be alright in 3-4 hours. When I checked it again at 10:00 PM, it was not activated. Then I had to take the pains of calling the toll free[protected]. But no answer was received. Then I sent a message from the modem itself describing the problem. Then it was activated.

09-Feb-2010 - Continuation of the Reliance Netconnect Saga.

Today, Mr. Jagadish from the Reliance Nodal Officers office has informed me that a Mr. Rajaram from Vriti Infocomm will call me for the refund and do the needful to return the money.

I explained to him that this same Mr. Rajaram had called me 10 days back and informed me that he would come to my office at 11 am the next day. When he did not show up, I called him 3 times and he confirmed he was busy and would send someone ?

It seems that Vriti Infocomm is a fraud dealer company and has no intention whatsoever to return the amount due to me.

It is amazing how a company like Reliance can work with such modern criminals who cheat and commit fraud everyday and get away with it.

The only way they will understand is when they recieve a legal notice, which i will ensure is sent to them.

                          Best Regards,

                          Yatish Moncourt

TO WHOMSOEVER IT MAY CONCERN :

                          Dear Sir/Madam,

On 23-Dec-2009, my office staff bought 2 Reliance NetConnect USB hi speed modems online, and we paid 7000 Inr. for the same - via credit card. ( Inr. 3500 per modem. )

My predominant reason for buying this modem ( the one for myself ) was to utilize it end december, during the holidays. I needed to stay connected for some important e mails i was awaiting. The online negotiation had to be answered within the hour, for an important million dollar deal we were negotiating with one of our customers.

On the 25-Dec-2009, Mr. Damodaran from Reliance Netconnect visited us in our location, for a physical verification, and gave us 2 hardware packs of the said USB Modems. He verified and took all the required documents and confirmed the USB modems would start working within 48 hours.

The Reliance Netconnect modem given to me carried the following number : [protected]

Of course, I was unable to use the modem i bought since it was never activated by Reliance Netconnect, and i had to run to the business centre during my travel, to check and answer my e mails.
Since neither of the modems started working, we started calling Reliance customer care and they asked us to contact Reliance Webworld.

We tried to call Mr. Damodaran, but he remained incommunicado, and did not reply to any calls we made to the mobile number he had provided us. We went and resubmitted the documents to Reliance, Double Road, since Mr. Damodaran had informed us he was attached to this office. We learnt that this was a dealer, and the activation had to take place from Reliance WebWorld.

Finally, On the 4th of January 2010, frustrated and tired, I personally visited Reliance Webworld, Cunningham road, Bangalore and explained the complete scenario. They confirmed that the documents had not been uploaded and hence the activation was not possible. They asked for a full set of documents and that they would ensure that the service was activated within 24 hours of receipt of the same. The complete set of documents was submitted to Reliance Webworld, Cummingham Road, on the same day. Mr. Girish, guaranteed that the documents had been uploaded and the USB modem activated on the 05th and 06th of January.

One of the modems started working around the 9th of January, 2010. The other one in my possession remained dead.

Once again, i went for a trip and was unable to use the USB modem, as the same was not activated.
When i came back to Bangalore, I spoke with Reliance Customer Care and they patched in a conference call with Mr. Girish of Reliance WebWorld who now confirmed that he had done the needful and uploaded the documents. His confirmation that the said USB Modem had been activated changed and he confirmed that there was some problem with their back end ?

Even with continuous follow up with Customer Care and Mr. Girish, we reached nowhere. The last straw came when Mr. Girish informed me not to call him on his mobile number since it was his personal number and he could not do anything anymore. I should contact Customer Care.

Neither Customer Care nor Reliance Web world ever called me back to update me on this issue.
Finally, i visited Reliance WebWorld on Cunnigham Road mid January 2010. While standing in Reliance Webworld i called Reliance Customer Care. My marathon 55 minute call with Customer Care, while i was standing in the Cunningham road, Reliance Webworld, came to nought. I was left holding on for 15 minutes at the end of this single call, by the customer care executive, who confirmed that she was transferring me to a supervisor who could help me resolve this issue. Finally, the call which was on loudspeaker, for the staff in Reliance Webworld to hear, disconnected on its own, while we listened to music. The Manager in Webworld apologized, and confirmed that he would have the needful done, and have the USB modem activated within 48 hours.
I understood that both Customer Care and Webworld were helpless due to some internal issue.
Hence, I wrote out a handwritten letter, in duplicate, asking Reliance Netconnect to give me a full refund ( Inr. 3500 ) due to their inability to activate the USB Modem i had bought on the 23-Dec-2009. The Manager sealed and signed the letter and gave me my copy. He added " Have not accepted to give Refund " on the letter to cover his own back.

This day, I called Reliance Csutomer care, who apologized profusely, and confirmed that the USB Modem was still not activated. Upon explaining that i had asked for a full refund, and was not interested if the modem had not been activated, I was informed to go to Reliance Web World.

We, the consumer, are treated like a ping pong ball, by these companies, which have zero service level and no conscience.

Hence, this complaint to consumer complaints.

I hope and trust that the same will help me to obtain justice and my full refund, for a service that was never delivered by Reliance Netconnect.

I would also ask for interest, and compensation for the time and money i have spent on following up this matter with Reliance Customer Care and Reliance Web world.

Thanking you, with best regards, I remain,

                          Complaint marked as Resolved

                          Reliance Netconnect USB — Activation

I did purchased a reliance netconnect last month, but it has still been not activated, when i call the customer service, even they dont have the resolution, I am totally pissed off, please help

[protected] cell number which is not activated yet

I have used Reliance postpaid and i must say their billing system and their customer care is HOPELESS. It should be renamed as customer abuse and customer headache. THEY are ineffective and fleece their own clients. I was told I would be given a free GSM card along with y cDmA phone and in the end they ended up charging e Rs.500. To top it their online billing system NEVER reflects the paid amount. When I talk to the CC representative, all they can do is cut my outgoing facility and not restore it even after they have taken the payment confirmation number. EVEN after they have the payment reference number...and this is when the payment gateway has SENT a confirmation bill to me!

It is the worst. PLEASE do NOT use reliance if you wish to remain sane. This is ALWAYS the case, month after month after month.

DO NOT USE RELiANCE postpaid ever... it's the worst!
                              Dear Sir,
I wanted to complain you that I have drop my bill amout before due date in your Rajauri Garden ( New Delhi ), But as per your Rajauri Garden Centre Chacqe will bonce due to wrong account No. after that I will contact *333 for as per instruction cheque collect from that centre where you drop. I changed my MDN number from [protected] to [protected] on 26-07-10. from DEEPALI INFOCOM (Reliance Web World Express) NEW AGRA-282005 , Since the very first day it has no network signals. Whenever tried to contact anybody, always get disconnected. I am fed up of it. Kindly plz Urgently fix the problem otherwise i will have to go to consumer court in written.

Please do the needful as soon as possible or give me new MDN number as because Postpaid connection is always good in network.
