Dear Sir,
I purchased reliance’s prepaid connection before 3 years back since there I recharge my connection so many times. But since it activated, they deducted my more than Rs 2000 for valu added service such as Ring tone pack, sms services. While I didn’t subscribe for such services. When I asked for the proof from reliance customer care ( that I subscribe such value added pack) they replied that they don’t have any proof. At last on 20 days before Rs 20 deducted for ipl massage but i can not activated that service.
They activated &deducted from my balance . when i complaint against that they told u get Rs20 refunded within 24hrs but till 15 days gone amount not added to my balance . for that i got mentally desturb & this is not firts time happend with me so many times happend with me . so now i decided to do complaint against them ...However, this loot practice is going on and on. They once again deduct some charges and I am sure that such unfair practice will continue in future also. So…..
My expectations are as below…
1 I want all my money back which they deduct for value added service unethically and unlawfully since it activated .
2.For mentaly harrasment i wnat to charge them RS 100000.
3. Before activating such services they should take consumers’ written permission and not by SMS or phone call.
4. They should maintain proof for activating such services.
5. Reliance India mobile should give written assurance about ALL the charges.
6. Fine such mobile operators who deduct any amount from customer without their written permission.
7. No value added services should allowed in prepaid connection as they deduct directly from their balance.
8. There must be 100 times higher charges as FINE to the mobile operators for unethical practice, mal practices, unfair practices and deduct amount without the written permission of customer.
9. Strong customer care service must required.

Reliance prepaid card — regarding prepaid card talk time period

i taken new conection of reliance prepaid no [protected] & paid Rs 99/-, but this charges is expired on 13/05/2008 therefore i also purchase Rs399/- prepaid chargeds on same day on 10/05/2008, vaild for one month i.e. up to 09/06/2008, but my reliance mobile talk validtion expired on 18/05/2008 before comence ment date then i go reliance web world at vasai parnake & registered complaints for that on 19/05/2008, the staff say ur problem slove with in 3 days but unfotunately then my complaints not solve by reliance yet 22/05/2008 . the quesion is arries that can reliance give me justice & giveme my lost 5 days comunication days from my nesw connection ok

But After So Many Affort I Have To Pay My Monthly Rently Without Having Connection.

Reliance communication (Mobile) — Barring of outgoing facility & mental haressment by its executive

I (Manoj Lahoti Mob. [protected]) am totally fed up with the customer care executives of Reliance Mobile, further there is totally mismanagement in the company as we had taken a corporate conection for mobile two months back but after activation of number hardly a fortnight was passed an i started getting calls from customer care of reliance mobile that ur bill is pending kindly pay the bill, i had spoken to the company personnels as well regarding this but still hardly a day has passed when i am not receiveng 4-5 calls from reliance customer care regarding payment of bill.
after a month i got the bill and had made the payment but again hardly 10 days had passed again the same story the customer care executives had started haassing me like anything and today ie. on 01/10/2008. the company has barred my out going facility till date i had not received the bill for this month i had checked the bill online but its showing the bill is due for payment on 11/10/2008. even though i had paid the bill online but the company had not restored my outgoing facility due to which i am disturbed alot & in a great mental taruma.
so i want my facility to be restored at the earliest and i must be compensated for mental haressment as well

Reliance prepaid card — Unnecessary debit in Prepaid account

I am holding Relaince prepaid card . Now as soon as i fill rs. 30 prepaid card within a second automatically they debit from my balance rs. 19 or some times 25. it is happen always with me.
because of this we are afraid to fill more prepaid refill. this is relaince mall practice to make money from public. It has been notice that they are doing puposely as they know that people does have that much time to follow up the matter. if some body follow up th matter they credit the amout to their account. so i want to stop this types of pracice from relaince comunications ltd.

Reliance Communications — Charging for Ringtones & packages without activating it

I am complaining against reliance commpunication that they are charging on my mobile prepaid lifetime for setting ringtones 7 other pacakages like edu pack etc. But when I query to there customer care they said they can't do anything please call on the toll free no to diactive the I did so but the a reply message came fron there server that you have no services nor packages activated. I think there customer care guys are fraud.

Please take a neccessary action against them

RCOM — Prepaid to Postpaid conversion

As I am the consumer of Reliance communication since 2 yrs and I am using liftime prepaid card.Now I want to convert my prepaid plan to postpaid plan and i have already submitted the relevent document at the reliance web world, ahmedabad-Gujarat since week.till date there is no convesion in my plan and i m sufferring due to such services i cant access.


So kindly co-operate and resolve this issue.

Every month I used to purchase prepaid cards for my use.without my permission certain amounts are deducted for caller tunes music .I made a complaint .Last i got deactivated music channels through Your Dombivili-East "RELIANCE WEB" BUT UNFORTUNATELY STILTHIS SUBCRIPTION ARE RENEWED WITHOUT MY PERMISSION.TODAY I PAID Rs.100/FOR CARD.NORMALY WE USED TO GET MESSAGE WHEN IT IS ACTIVATED, POOR SERVICE.

Reliance Mobile Connection — inter-change of numbers

Sir, I have a connectionNo. [protected] on a LG camera set while serving in Nagercoil TN. I am a bangaloreon and have a life time connection [protected] on a junk set. From the last 2 years I am trying to get the numbers interchanged since I am retired and settled in Bangalore. I want any of the following:

1 If the tamilnadu number [protected] can be changed to Karnataka circle with same number on the same LG set. OR

2. No. [protected] can be transfered to the LG set now carrying [protected]. The number [protected] can be deleted OR

3. The numbers can be interchanged so that I can use [protected] on the camera set LG 6330

Further, the No.[protected] validity was actually over on 26 Nov 2007. I have contacted many RIM web world for this change over since 1976.

Reliance communication (Mobile) — unexpected plan activation, and deduction their fees.

Dear Sir / Madam,

I have prepaid Reliance Mobile no. [protected].

i am facing problem with reliance customer care. they are activating unwanted services without my permission and charging its fees. because of this my prepaid balance always shown in (-) minus figure.

Rel. Com. — value added service charges levied without consent of customer

As per TRAI guidelines reproduced below, value added service charges can not be levied without consent of the customer: Value Added Services:
• No chargeable value added service, shall be provided to a customer without his explicit consent. Any value added service, which was earlier being provided free of charge, shall not be made chargeable without the explicit consent of the customer. The above provisions are also applicable to Internet Service Providers.
• Voice Mail Service should not be offered without the prior consent of the subscriber.

Reliance Mobile — Reliance mobile looting money from users by enforcing caller tunes without user's request

I am having a reliance prepaid phone. Yesterday suddenly I received an sms stating that "thank you for subscribing to the caller tunes, it has been activated on your reliance phone and an amount of Rs.15/- has been deducted for the same" I checked my phone and found that the information provided in the sms was correct.

I immediately called up the helpline and asked for the refund of the money since I did not opt for any such scheme and the money was deducted on their own. The lady on the other side confirmed that they haven't received any message / call from my phone requesting for the service that got activated. She also said that neither reliance has activated that, but the fact that Rs.15/- got deducted from my balance still remains.I was advised to deactivate the scheme so as to avoid furtther deduction of any more amount at the due date and told clearly that my money will not be refunded.

I treat this as a case of cheating the poor customer by charging him for the service that he is not intersted in.

Reliance communication(RIM) — Subscription of ISHQ pack

The ISHQ pack has been activacted on My mobile No. [protected] by charging a sum of Rs. 16 for 10 days without my previous permission. I have unsubscribe the same by sending UNSUB ISHQ to 53030 and the same is unsubscribe. The amount charged for activating the pack without previous permission be credited back to my mobile no. [protected].

Reliance prepaid card — USELESS AND UNLESS SMS

My self chirag chawla and I am using relience pre paid communication services but I am very tired when i got useless and unless sms or call form telemarketing on daily basis, Pls stop this services on urgent basis.

Reliance — don't get ringtone

i just dial *123# to get ring tone before 2 or 3 month ago . after that 1 message i received, in which i could not hear from that any kind of ring tone sound .The message shows that music is played and i also save it. i am useing samsung c170.
I purchased Net Connect Data Card on 15.05.09, but the device still to be activated.
Every required document has been given to the company, verification has been done, everything
on my part has been done.
A number of times I had telephonic conversation with the person responsible for activation, but all in vein.
I had written to Reliance Communication Authorities, but no satisfatory response has so far been received from them.

Reliance India Mobile — Complaint against Reliance India Mobile for deduct money for service which I do not want.

I purchased a Reliance India Mobile since 3 year.And it is the second time that the company deduct the amount without my permission.This time they were activated the "T20 world cup" sms pack without my permission.I had made a complain to the customer care on 06.06.09 and they assured me that the error would be short out within 48 hours with refund my money.But while today i contact them they said the process is going on.

Reliance Telecommunication — deducting excess money

On 29th July, 2009 i recharged my mobile with top up of 60 Rs.Two cards of Rs 30 each, at 7.35 in the morning. I made only two calls from my cell after recharge amounting to almost 4 Rs. and immidiately I received a message stating that my I have balnce of Rs. 13 only on calling customer service executive to know about the deduction she replied that i have selected an option of masti ke tarang on 28th July, 2009 for which they have deducted Rs. 30/-.it was shock for me since i have not selected any such option in fact I am very careful while attending this calls since if you press any no. key by mistake they immediately activate the pack.
I am very sure that i haven't subscribe for masti ke rang yet they have cheated by deducting Rs. 30 for what i have not subscribed. (Rs. 30 may not sound a big sum for people like us, but its a matter of trust since relaince owes a very big name it should be very careful in such small transactions also)
i hav paid my bill of wll on phone the nos is[protected], still ur department hav disconnected my phone, i have given each nd every details of cheque still thy r not activated .

Reliance communication GSM Prepaid Service — deducted extra charges per sms

i have use the reliance prepaid card GSM servie. i have send some local sms on 02.08.2009 to some cell no. In my scheme my Local SMS rate is 1 Rs. but on that day company had dedcuted 2 Rs. Per SMS. When i had talk to Customer care of the company they said that was network problem of another company so company dedcuted 2 Rs. in my Account. and the customer care executives was talking very rufly. My Reliance Cell No. is [protected] and My Another No.Of Airtel is [protected] Please taking care about this matter. and refund my excess charges deducted by the company.

Reliance communication(RIM) — Deducting money for the service that i have not activated.

Dear Sir,
I am a consumer of Reliance Communication (RIM) of West Bengal Circle.
My mobile no. is [protected]. 3-4 months ago RIM had activated a service called LoveTip pariseva which I have not activated at all.But they are deducting money from my account 1 Rs per Day. In times they sent a sms mentioning that LoveTip subscription will renewed in 2 day. Whenever I tried to contact the number they have given to deactivate it, most of the time it give the engage tone. Once I caught the line then they mentioned that you are already unsubscribed for this service. But still after 2 days I saw that they have deducted Rs.30 for 30 days. Then I caught the customercare representative on 23rd july 2009 then he told that you subscription is activated and it takes min 48 hours to deactivate it.Then I ask the person to deactivate it then he told me he have deactived it then and there will be no more deduction later on.But yesterday I suddenly saw that they have deducted Rs10 for 10 days for that service.
I have already lost near about Rs.150 for this service.

So, Sir you see how this company is making money for the service that customer don't want and making there life miserable.And we have our own work also, one cannot waste hours of time(beacuse it takes hours to get the line of customercare most of the time) for something he is not responsible for and getting nothing from it.

I had taken the RIM CDMA about 1 year back in oct 2008, In dec they had activated some package without my permission, and some mesaages from Holy Bible started coming, I thought Reliance might had started the holy messages.After 5-6 month of this i confirmed my with my friend whether they are also getting the same.he denied. then i talked with customer care. Thay told a service had been activated . I asked them to stop and was angry that they started the srvice without mine notice. I asked for refund. He told that this is not possible. i was shocked, and ignored that .

Complaint of Mr.LOKESH SHARMA RISHIKESH is pending with Customer Care BIGTV for the last 10 months. No remeady is pointed out inspite of constant follow up through Rishikesh DEALER Mr. Deepak Saran.

What to say small companies when such a BIG concern is not taking care of their customers.
The SET UP BOX is lying with dealer since then. Neither money is refunded nor user period is extended if it is installed at another place as per Dealer.
Who will look after either AMBANI's themselves or any other delegate deputed by the Company.

It is serious matter as no action is taken on phone call at Mumbai.

Reliance Data Card — Card Not activated and extra money had been deducted

I had bought Reliance Data Card [Broadband+] on 23rd July which cost 3400/- but they had deducted 10200/- RS but when I called them they not even responding to my query. And they not even activated my card when I am calling them they are not responding to my queries and always says that we can not do anything for that and please contact to Delhi headquarter but when I called Delhi headquarter they people are also not responding

There was a problem in the instrument and as we had given in the customer care department, Mandai, Bhiwandi. on the 4th of September 2009 and till the date we have not received the instrument.
We daily ring up there in the customer care office they tell the same it is yet not been repaired more two or three days it will take. We are facing a lot of problem because of that.

Kindly look into the matter and do the needful.

my cell no [protected], caller tune activated date is 24/06/09, my balance rs. 30 deduted as before time period on 15/11/09, why is so, while it should be deducted on 21/11/09, because caller tune run for 30 days , so please try to return my balance rs30

Dear Sir,
I am in receipt of a following message by way of sms on my reliance mobile no [protected] "Your sbscription for love tips will be renewed in two days charges 30/30 days. To deactivate call 5303085(toll free)

In the first place i have never ever opted for such a service and now if i wish to (i.e. if I do not do so they will continue to suck away my balance ) deactivate the same i have to bother with there slow and vague process to deactivate the same. It is extremly shameful for Anil Dhirubahi Ambani group company to cheat people in this indirect way. If i do not bother ot see the message i am debited for the service that i have never opted for in the 1 st place. Already my 30 rupees stands debited.And in this way they must be cheating thousands of customers. Will some autorities look in to it and bring this people (Reliance) to correct senses.
I have lots of problem since I have taken reliance connection. the first that reliance use to stop outgoing calls at least 3 times.

customer service is not good you have to wait long time and customer representative is not polite in answering.

even after submitting documents twice my outgoing calls hasn’t started yet.

sound quality is worst and voice is always breaking even if network shows full towers.

no answer of my mail which I have sent to them.

RCOM — Change of Billing Address

I had given nearly 7 set of proofs for my address change in last 2 years at Belapur and Kharghar Reliance Outlet. All these days I am not getting my bill statement in time.


Your call center asked me to move pillar and post which I will not do. I would like to mention that as proof I had submitted My PAN Card and Electricity Bill for the same. My old residence was a rented one and the current resident is of my own.

Several mails been sent to the company as well but of no use.

It seems Rcom's national DND registry has failed miserably particularly in recent times when I have started receiving unsolicited SMS & TM calls from sundry. RELIANCE INDIA LIMITED — deduction of money for caller tune service which i never requested for

I have a reliance CDMA connection. one week back they activated caller tune facility on my phone. initially they sent a sms telling that its free for one week. after one week without even asking whether i want to continue their service or not they renewed the subscription and deducted rs 30 from my account. when i talked to the customer care people they disconnected my call without proper clarification. I want to know the following:
1] why they activated any service on my phone without asking me and if it was promotional offer shouldn't they ask me if i want to continue it or not before renewing it.
2] in the sms why they didn't mentioned that if i don't unsubscribe i'll be charged rs 30/month: here again the point worth noting is that i NEVER SUBSCRIBED FOR THIS SERVICE.
3] how many bucks RIL have made out of these SCAMS from the whole country, by giving incomplete information to customers ?

I took a new connection and a default caller tunes was subscribe to my number for free for 15 days... but I preferred to unsubsscribe it. hence in 5 days I requested for unsubscribe by sending SMS. I did it and it was deactivated.. the very next day i got another sms saying my caller tunes for 2 days is activated and if I dont udeactivated it it will be subscribed for next 30 days and amount will be reducted accordingly.So I unsubribed it again.. and then call the Customer care.. they told that it will take 48 hrs to deactivated.... And it happened-- they charged 30 Rs for CT and no CT can be heard as i requested for deactivation ....and as usual the Customer care executive can not do help us... because when u call them there system is slow...or..they will ask u to call sometime later...... It means there is no time to deactivate the same. They are selling products forcefully... My friend who is using the same reliance mobile is faing this issue from a long time... the amount goes to negative...and when we need to call someone very urgently ... u cant do it..... then why to use such phone !!!!
Never fall in trap of caller tunes with Reliance. They are big time CHOR.

If the issue is not resolved within 3 days of your complaint with Customer Care Executive, ask for a complaint no. You can send your concern along with complaint no. to the Nodal Officer and Appelette Authority.Also mark a copy of email to TRAI officers so that Reliance will take quick action.

Escalation is the only way of getting things done there days.I'm saying this based on my personal experience.

we are the old customer using Reliance mobile for all our executives. we had given the complaint for making double payment for our mobile No.[protected] payment for the month of Feb 10 by cheque No.083319 (HDFC) cleared on 18/3/10 and again for stop of service of our Executive mobile for which we made cash Payment of Rs.315/- Cash receipt No.S[protected] OTC Code 11056 in June (Bill of Feb & May 10) for starting the service, which was said by your customer care.

I was told the excess payment will be adjusted, but till date the payment has not been adjusted nor any response from Customer care. I paid the cash from my pocket.

I am facing a severe problem of balance deduction each & everyday of Rs. 5/-. I have called many times to the customer care services but sorry to say that your services which I had thought are the good ones are the most worst ones because you dont' even response properly to your customers. I have circulated my Reliance number to all my friends & had also suggested them for the services but now I think i was wrong, if still no action is taken i will be forced to replace your card & try some another option.

I am the user of Reliance GSM No. [protected] and without any request company have activated two packs which are Caller tune of Rs. 40 + Job alert of Rs. 30 and for which I never sent any request and even I didn't receive any message from company side that some thing hav been activated and I was out of state and came back on 30th Nov. 2010 night and found that I have only Rs. 2 in my account.

On 1st Dec. 2010 I called on 198 and spoke with Mr. Ravinder and from him only I came to know about above packs and he only inform me that the both pack have been activated from their end and I said kindly deactivate it refund my money and in response he said that they can not return my money because I called after 24 hour of activation and I said that I was not aware of any packs and on 30th only I came to know about it so it's not my fault.

Even he said that on 24th Nov. one service has been activated and I said on 24th Nov. till 2 o'clock my phone was working in roaming also but I havn't receive any message. It was company duty to send the message.

Then he transferred my call to Mr. Riaz (his Senior) and I got the same reply. Even I said that Now I have only option of consumer court so he said they are ready. This was totally rediculous answer.

I said him please register my complaint and give me my complaint No. and he said this is not complaint and we can not give any complaint no. and pass the phone to some Saurav and he after 1 minute disconnect my call.

I am under the impression that if I'll recharge then again they'll deduct my money and as I already loss Rs. 70 then again it'll be repeat.

So I request you kindly take any action because unneccessarily why the customer have to suffer.

Reliance Communications — Unwanted Services Activated Without My Consent And Deducted Money (Grand Scam)

I am writing this mail to complain that Reliance Company has activated Caller Tune facility on my number ([protected]) without my consent 16th of November and deducted Rs. 5 from my account balance and then again Reliance company deducted Rs. 30 from my account by sending me a sms that it’s renewal charges of Caller tune (which I never asked for). I complained many times by dialing 198 (complaint helpline number). I was assured that the same would be refunded but I shocked when I contacted on 25th of November’10 by dialing 198…they informed me that Rs. 10 has deducted once again on 25th of November and I assured once again that the deducted amount would be refunded within 48 hrs.

On 29th of November, Rs. 40 was deducted from my account and when I contacted by dialing 198, I got to know that Rs. 10 was deducted on 28th of November for Caller tune and Rs. 30 for renewal for some chat services (which I never asked for). They also informed me that the chat service was activated on 1st of November’10 and my account was deducted by Rs. 30 for it.

So, overall my account was deducted by Rs. 115 or may be more as I am not aware when your company activated some services on my account without my consent and deducted some amount unnecessary from my account.

I have been arbitrarily deducted around rupees 40/- from my prepaid mobile no [protected] on 15/12/10. I did not opt any of the services from reliance mobile. I contacted customer care on 16/12/10 vide complaint no[protected] but the matter was not resolved and I feel that they have cheated me. Again on the same day I contacted the customer care , the executive said that your amount will not be refunded. Sir , in this way I wasted my credit in both ways arbitrarily deduction plus cotacting customer care on charge of call as well as I wasted my time without falt of mine in this context.
Further I request to initiate appropriate action on this cheating case to refund my authorised dues.

reliance rcom — wrong deduction of money

i had my 1p per sms plan of Rs19 activated and it was going to be renewed on 12th december 2010. I tried deactivating the plan on 9th and 10th dec but request not processed reply would come. I called up costomer care and told him to manually deactivate specifically telling him that it should be deactivated before its renewal on 12th or Rs 19 will go waste, He garanteed me that it will get deactivated and even if it gets deactivated after renewal you will be refunded your amount, i have called customer care since it did happen that it got deactivated after renewal but the thives of reliance company just go on refusing and sometimes also deny that nothing has been charged.

please this is not the 1st time it has hapened so but a lot many times please do something about this,
these companies due to competetion reduce the rates and give offers but than trick the costomers to steal money from them by fraudulent ways.
this is extremely wrong.

I mean this is not the first time, I have gone through this kind of Serious mental agony and harassment, unfair deduction and Fraud attitude million times From Reliance Communication.. I mean what is Reliance Communication doing?? Why they charge and deduct customers hard earned money illegally.They are himself making their Reputation bad to worse..!! Reliance Communication — Activating unnecessary packs

Company activated a Daily cricket score pack on my cellphone which debited an amount of Rs 15 for activation. I didn't request for any such service still the services was activated and company kept on charging for last 4 days.

The day this sevices was activated I registered a complain in company's customer care and they assured to deactivate the service as well as waive charges if any. As a confirmation for this, I received a sms as well the very next day but there was no indication of reverting the charges cut earlier. Instead there was a cut of Rs 15 again the next day. As per the details I came to know from site, there is a daily deduction of Rs 5 for this service. Meantime, without any disruption, I continued to receive sms with cricket updates (which I can get from site as well, while sitting in office).


So next day again I call'd up the customer care to ask why the service is not deactivated and money being charged to my balance. Still the same answer from customer care, we deactivated your service now and money will be credited to your account back. One new thing happened here and a "Shayari" pack was activated by company on my cell and they deducted Rs. 10 for this as well. Customer care personnel accepted it a mistake and reverted the amount back to me. In case I didn't ask for it, they would've continued to cut daily deduction against "shayari" as well, which I don't a damn to.

Now again on day 4, there was a cut of Rs 5 for cricket pack and still no respite from idiotic customer care people. They are reluctant to deactivate service and not even want to revert the charges cut from my accounts.

Total till now:
First time activation>> Rs 15
Day1 (9th Mar till 12 Mar) >> Rs 5 * 4 = 20

During the month of April 2011 my credit amount deducted twice in 1st week of April and around 25 or 26 th of April again without asking any of the services from the service provider. The total amount deducted is around Rupees 60 to 70 proximately . I spoken twice on 26th and 27 th of April 2011 to the customer care executive regarding this deduction , but nothing has come out till today. It is a clear cheating to the consumer . Credit has been deducted without permission. Please do the needful to credit my debited amount and this embarrassment may not happen to the consumer in future.

My connection has been inoperative for a period of more than three months now. I have been told that my connection has been de-activated because I have not paid my previous bills. The first default in the payment of the bill occurred in the month of April, 2011.

I would like to bring to your notice that the reason why the bill was unpaid for the month of April was because one of your sales representative Mr. Balwant, [protected] (mob.) did not deposit the cheque which I had duly handed over to him immediately after my bill for the month of April was due and sent over to me. When I tried to get in touch with Mr. Balwant, he first gave me false assurances and then eventually started evading the calls. As I realize the cheque has not been deposited and consequently the amount has not been deducted from account.

I tried contacting you customer care executives number of times, I in fact lodged the complaints twice, but it was absolutely ineffective and there was no proper action. My connection still remains deactivated.

Finally, I was assured by one of your customer care executives that I would be granted a waiver for my bill for the month of May and my services would be activated if I pay the pending bill for April. I have made the payment for the month of April on July 16, 2011 for a sum of Rs. 750/- But my connection has not been still activated.

I want my connection to be activated. Further, an action needs to be taken against your sales executive, as mentioned earlier, so that they do not fool around with your customers and bring disrepute and badwill to your organization.

      Why always your against the money of the customer, even though we are not subscribing you are un- necessary deducting the money o[censored]s. Always i used to have this problem even my family facing the same problem. yesterday evening only I recharged 50 rupees but morning i am seeing its 5 rupees only. why are u playing with the customer, better u take an action and reverse my money back which i paid otherwise i will go to customer court to raise my complain towards your role towards customer.

        Hello,
        Firstly I would like to mention that I am thoroughly appalled at the hopeless customer care service that Reliance provides to its customers. Also that I would consider myself lucky, if i get a response to this mail and any action based on this.

        My problem : I am getting timed out when trying to connect to the internet(in spite of having balance in my account).
        The losses I incurred : more than 900 Rs to date.

        I had applied for a reliance net connect connection on March 24th 2009. I got a number assigned immediately as mentioned above, but till date(its May 23rd today), my services have NOT been activated.

        I have submitted the application form 3 TIMES:
        1) twice with my license as address proof - Vashi Sector 17 reliance
        2) once with passport copy - CBD Belapur Reliance, Prabhat Center).
        The last time I submitted was in the last week of April. I have lost count actually.

        Recently I visited the 'Reliance web world' in Vashi sec 17 and Reliance and the one in Shastri Nagar, Santacruz . They said my services are active and i just need to recharge my account to connect to the internet.
        THEY CONFIRMED WITH ME THAT MY SERVICES ARE ACTIVE, THEN I PROCEEDED TO RECHARGE MY ACCOUNT WITH 403 Rs.

        After recharging for 403 Rs, they told me that even though my account is active, my OUTGOING services are barred!!! and that I would need to submit my documents again. When I asked them the reason, the response I got was - "We dont know"!

        It seems there is no transparency between the different departments in Reliance, as in the customer care executive has no clue as to why the documents are continually being rejected. One more thing, the customer care executives are thoroughly ILLITERATE of the processes, regardless of any branch in INDIA.

        My question - How am I supposed to understand that even If i am active, my services could be barred. For me, as a customer, all I care for is - if i pay the money, will i be able to access the internet. For this, their answer was an EMPHATIC yes before recharge and a BIG NO after recharge.

        I AM TIRED OF RUNNING AND SUBMITTING THE DOCUMENTS, and I do not understand what could be wrong with my passport.
        IF YOU NEED MORE VERIFICATION, THEN COME TO THE ADDRESS MENTIONED IN MY RESIDENCE PROOF AND SEE ME THERE. I would be glad to meet you guys.

        I myself am in Telecommunication industry, and I am really sad to see this kind of service being offered, by a company that calls itself India's no 1.

        I feel cheated.

          In the last week I observed that the caller Tune service has been activated thrice on my cell without my knowledge and the service has been charged to me. In one case there was a song also downloaded. When I brought this to the notice of the Customer service staff he was not interested in my problem and simply tried to convey me that the service has been activated from my side and he would not take any complaint regarding the same. In spite of me explaining it to him that the service was not activated from my side and I wanted to lodge a complaint regarding the same he bluntly refused to lodge a complaint. I am surprised by the attitude of the customer service executives and the supervisors as they simply don't lodge a complaint on the said problem. Of what use is the C.S.C. when the complaint of the customer is only not heard.
          I look forward to a solution on the problem as I have been cheated thrice by Reliance communication, 30 Rs deducted from my balance for a service which I never subscribed and regarding the Customer service which simply does not take complaints on the problem stated.

            Context
            My reliance prepaid handset ( modem) connection no is [protected] which was purchased very recently.
            I have purchased a Reliance prepaid connection for internet connectivity through USB Modem LXU- 800. This was done through Reliance web world - Shankarnagar, Nagpur against the invoice no [protected] dated 5.5.09 for total payment of Rs 2589/- ( Inclusive of cost of modem + GSK Pre paid kit).
            The modem RSN/ ESN no is RL GCP[protected]
            This connection was activated on 7.5.09 with a recharge voucher of Rs 111 purchased from Shankarnagar office. The Web world staff has promised me that the recharge voucher will give me 5 hours of internet connectivity and has a validity of one month.
            No additional payment for validity recharge was done as the staff told me that it is not needed.
            Problem
            The modem has stopped functioning ( not connecting to internet) from 15 May 09 onwards. Enquiries with your customer care representatives ( CCR) in Shankarnagar office have revealed that the connection validity has expired.
            I was promised usage of 5 hours and 1 month validity against the recharge voucher of Rs 111. This means that the validity should have expired on 6.6.09. How come your system is indicating expiry of validity within 10 days?
            I have attached here image of details of my modem usage as indicated by the modem since your system has suspended my internet access. You can very clearly see that the modem was used only for 34 min and 34 seconds for a receiving/ sending of 95.43 bytes only. Is your voucher of Rs 111/- is worth just this minimal use?
            Your CCR are now saying that the validity recharge is a saperate process. I was not told this while purchasing the modem.
            I am not sure as to whether the validity recharge is required and what is the exact amount because none of your staff in Shankarnagar webworld office has clarity on the issue. While purchasing the modem on 15th May, your CCR ( Ms Smita) has told me that I need to recharge validiy for lifelong by paying Rs 300. However her senior staff ( name not known) ruled this out saying that no such payment is needed and hence it was not done. On the 18th May 09, your CCR ( Ms Anoushka) told me to pay Rs 97 to ensure lifelong validity. This was promptly done by paying in cash Rs 97 at the Shankarnagar office. Even after this, the connectivity of my modem is not restored. Further enquiries revealed that for lifelong recharge, I need to pay additional Rs 649. Even if I pay another Rs 649, none in your web world is able to clarify to me as to what will be the fate of my current recharge voucher of Rs 111 that has become dysfunctional because your CCR could not properly guide me.
            Nobody in your web word is ready to give written invoices for any services and all the payments are done against oral instructions. So verification of information that is given to the customer is not properly done.
            When reliance communication boasts of availability of top class internet services, why can you not depute at least one technically perfect ( in internet services) staff in each web world or why not manage the same support through outsourcing. It is a common sight in web world stores to find customers struggling with modems and the staff to manage the set up of system. The webworld staff just sells the modems and the customer is then left to manage activation/ trouble shooting on his own. Is it not your responsibility to ensure that every modem sold through your system connects properly with customer's computer? I have to spend at least 5 hours on 6th and 7th May to get the new modem properly installed and activated for which there was absolutely no support from your center. It was all done by externally sourced expertise.
            Negotiating with the CCR in the webworld is extremely slow and time wasting process. On the 18th May, I was negotiating the complaint with Shankarnagar CCR ( Ms Anoushka) since 11.30 am to 1.00 pm and yet my problems are not solved. Ultimately I have to give up to do other important works elsewhere.
            A similar complaint was also registered in to your system through the Reliance web world- Shankarnagar on 16.5.09 by your CCR ( Ms Varsha). It is highly doubtful if the problem gets solved through your team that is not conversent with the details of modem operations/ plans. Till 1.30 pm on the 18th may, the complaint was not attended and I have got no communication on my alternative number.
            The abrupt discontinuation of the service from your side is causing extreme problems for me as I have to do my official work from roaming locations.
            Your webworld staff has repeatedly demonstrated that they do not have the capacity to ensure connectivity of the modem they have sold to me and hence I do not want to continue using it any further. Under the circumstances, it is clear that your web world based customer support system has totally failed to ensure smooth functioning of my modem and has caused me extreme inconvenience and great wastage of time. May I request you to collect the useless iteam called 'reliance modem' from me and arrange to reimburse me the full cost of the modem, balance cost of the Rs 111 recharge voucher and full cost of the Rs 97 validity voucher.

            I had booked one Reliance Broadband Connection on line. They had supplied me the data card and collected 3500-00. After installing the modem it was found to be defective. Since than I had approached several times to the customer care, written the complaint and handed over the modem to Reliance Communications, Dr. Rajkumar Road, Rajajinagar, Bangalore. They are now not responding to my calls.

            Reliance Communications — Recharge validity reminders

            I have been Reliance Prepaid (CDMA) subscriber since 2007.
            My phone is in 1ps/sec scheme since so many months (Month exactly not known)
            I had recharged for Rs 200 on 16th of November 2010.And i have received the Balance amount statement SMS on 22nd of this month as balance as Rs 11.
            I was shocked after seeing this SMS.
            Becasue my average monthly usage is about <200 and within one week my amount was reduced to Rs 11.
            When i have called the Reliance customer care they says that my 1ps / sec scheme was expired after 12months and now i am in the scheme by default of Rs 0.99 scheme for local and Rs 1.50 for STD.

            I have surprised of having this information and without intimation to the customer How come they can deduct and make default amount as Rs 0.99 for local calls?

            First of all They should send us the reminders by SMS before any scheme expiry date.
            When i asked about this with the customer care executive he says SMS would have been come to your number already.
            How come i will miss this SMS if they sent to me?
            We the public does;t want to loose our money simply like this.

            TRAI should send clear instructions to these service providers.
            And any scheme getting expiry and that needs to be intimated to the subcribers before it gets expired.
            I have been a Reliance GSM subscriber since 2009. I have a complaint for the Jharkhand circle.i have updating my free night call service from 29thfeb2012 but the recharge is not being updated. i am reciving the recharge message but when i call to a reliance number after 11pm my main balance is being deducted.               my sim is barred since 5 may 09 i have made two complaints but not got any results i have submitted my documents thrice two times with the retailer and at the last to the web world itself now they are saying i have to submit my documents again .i am totally confused icant throw the sim because already it is having about 400 rupees balance and 350 sms balance . third time i have submitted my driving license as proof.

              i have buy new reliance gsm but when i tried to call from bsnl landline its not calling my reliance no. and when i send to messege to reliance gsm to any bsnl mobile in india its fail so i suggest never use reliance its worst and i also noted my complain to customer care but there is no solution so beware of reliance gsm
              I purchased a reliance GSM card a couple of months ago submitted all the required documents demanded by the retailer. For 1 months the SIM was ok but after that it was Barred. When i complained to the CC they told me to get in touch with the retailer and submit the documents again. After submitting the documents again my SIM was activated but a couple of days later it was again barred. I again met the retailer and he told me to submit the documents again but after after submitting the document for the third time even the SIM still remains as Inactive(Barred). I talked to the CC a few days earlier and they told me that my SIm will be activated in a few Hrs time but its two days already passed.

                  Dear Sir,

                  We have a reliance CDM No. [protected], on 15th of May, 2009 we recharged the same with 249 Rs recharge which gives facility of 1 Month Unlimited talk time within Gujarat from RIM to RIM ( Reliance CDMA Mobile) Now suddenly on 19th May, 2009 night the outgoing and incoming facility on the same phone (Sim) cut off and on complaining to customer care they said as it was not recharged with 200 Rs recharge which is required for Lifetime card but actually it is recharged with 249 Rs recharge voucher.

                  So customer care told you please recharge with 97 Life time recharge voucher we did so but we lost the unlimited RIM to RIM ( Within Gujarat) without prior information and because of it we lost almost 108 Rs talk time.

                  Please Help us to revive the unlimited facility RIM to RIM ( Within Gujarat) and Gaining 108 Rs Back which lost due to their Misguidance and Service.

                    Dear Sir,

                    I am using [protected] connection from more than 1 year, & every time I am paying my bill before due date/ immediately after bill generated. I never came across through ECS linked with my MDN. But I shocked when I suddenly see my bank account gone negative amount of Rs 600. Last three time MDN bill ECS cheque bounce from my account becauc3se of nil balance in account & Rs 200 fine applied by bank on my account every time.
                    My questions is I am regularly paying mobile bill immediately after bill generated, then why Reliance trying to deduct money through ECS from my bank account.
                    If the ECS deduction is compulsory then Reliance should inform customer accordingly. This is totally wrong that ECS deduction even though bill payment done before due date. I am asking waiver of Rs. 600 for such fine charges applied by HDFC bank.

                        I have purchased a data card EC121 1X USB Modem from Reliance (MDN No [protected]). On 13 May 2009, the same was replaced with a new one. After then, I could not connect the net through it till now. In this regard, I have made many complaints through customer care as well as local office at Gorakhpur.                         I had bought Reliance Net Connect USb modem from Diadem Communications from Indirapuram Ghaziabad. i bough this product six days back. i had submitted all the relevant doucments at the time of activation. after three days my connection was deactivated saying "negative verification". i confirmed back from the scurity guards, neighbours and they told me no one visited my house.

                        i gave them 3k on the spot to get the connection and now i'm repenting to have it from reliance, its been 3 days now and still i'm finding out right channel to resolve my query. i spoke to customer care and they said "jisse liye hai uske paas jayiye, hum kuch nahi kar sakte"

                        let me know if you guys can be any help to me.

                            I have purchased a reliance netconnect broadband+ connection (their new high speed broadband) with their offer of 2 month free usage(Broadband+ 10GB Plan ... Rs. 1750/-) in the month of march but after seven days o[censored]sage it was suspended for about a month due to some of their technical mistakes ... No satisfied info was provided by the customer care executives as Why my connection is suspended ... the customer care executives just told me to visit the local Reliance Web World for the same ... But i was unable to find a satisfied answer there ... I was mentally harassed by the reliance executives and their technical department ...

                            Now the whole procedure carried on till a month after which my connection was restarted ...

                            The person responsible for all this i think is the one from whom i purchased the Net Connect Broadband+ Connection ... I am mentioning his name and his Reliance Web World address so that you all be aware of the man who is doing fraudulent activities and cheating his customers ...
                            His name and contact number is Rajiv Thakur - "[protected]" his reliance Web World is located at "Rani Kuti Kolkata West Bengal"

                            So be aware of the man and do tell him that he would be punished for his misdeeds ...

                            Now the problem is that i faced so many difficulties and was mentally harassed for about a month ... and i have taken the connection with the offer where i would get a two months(60 Days) of internet usage free i.e., I was subscribed to their plan "Broadband+ 10GB Plan" for two months where i can transfer 10GB of data each month ... Now as my connection was suspended i was unable to use the services for the period and so i should get a waiver for the same ...

                            Now when i called their customer care they declined to take my complaint and said that all the bills generated are correct and ...

                            So what all you say about the cheat that they are doing to their customers ... should we take it as a challenge and punish both Rajiv thakur and Reliance for the reason legally ... I would definitely file a case against both of them as i wasted lot of time, money and mind in the issue ...

                            Reliance Netconnect is a FRAUD, I also have the similar experience. My recommendation is simple NEVER buy Reliance Netconnect services otherwise they will rip you off.

                            I paid almost Rs. 7500/- to use Reliance Netconnect services for Two months, it is self explantory. I purchased recharge of 10 GB for Rs 1655/- and after 4 days the 10 GB data was vanished from their system. I have to buy it again and again.

                            I don't reomment Reliance to anyone.

                              On 10/04/2009, I purchased and activated Reliance's NetConnect service. On 13/05/2009, I received a bill for 10 days that was due on 13/05/2009. How frustrating to receive a bill on the day it's due. The bill was paid promptly.

                              On 19/05/2009, halfway through the day, I could no longer connect to the internet using the Reliance NetConnect service. After calling the customer service line and being put on hold for an extensive amount of time, I was informed that my service was barred as I had exceeded my credit limit.

                              First of all, I'm not sure why I have a credit limit as this is not a credit card. Nevertheless, I was told that my credit limit was Rs. 2100, but I owed Rs. 4500. Well if my credit limit was Rs. 2100, why was I allowed to use services up to Rs. 4500? Either way, I was never notified of this.

                              Apparently, I over-used the service which should have been capped. Again, I asked the Reliance customer service agent why the service wasn't stopped immediately and why I was never notified, instead allowed to over-use and then charged for that use, then allowed to go over a credit limit and again never notified.

                              I was advised that Reliance doesn't have the capability to notify their customers of over use. Again I find this hard to believe because at a certain point, they did cut off my service.

                              It is very frustrating to deal with a communications company that doesn't know how to communicate with their clients.

                                I am having a Reliance Mobile with No.[protected] which is a prepaid connection. I have received an SMS from 56694 reading " Thank you for subscribing to the Shirdi Sai Baba service. You have been charged Rs. 30/30 days. To unsubscribe sms UNSUBSAI to 56694" on 15th May 2009 at 07:06 pm.

                                I have never subscribed to any such service by any means. But Rs.30/- was deducted from my balance amount and my account became out of balance.

                                On the same day (15.05.2009), I went to the Relaiance Web World (Dwarakanagar, Visakhaptnam, AP) and complained about the same thing. The customer care executive at the Reliance Web World told me that your complaint has been registered and the deducted amount will be redepoisted with in 48 hours.

                                Even by today (19.05.2009), there has been no action from Reliance in this regard. I also sent an SMS to 56694 to unsubscribe this service as per the text of the SMS, but there is no action. So I called to the Reliance customer helpline at 30333333 and complained about the same again. The helpline executive instructed me to register your complaint at number 98053662. I tried so many times, but the system is responding to me to check the number I have dialed.

                                I was not aware that mobile companies can provide the services without our request and charge to our account without our knowledge. This is a clear case of cheating the people, which cannot be tolerated.

                                Kindly initiate necessary action in this regard.

                                I am having a Reliance Mobile with No.[protected], which is a prepaid connection. I have received a message from 56694 reading "Dear Customer, Your subscription to JobsOnPhone has been renewed for Rs.30/30 days. Dial 56694111 to enjoy service.chrgs. - sender 56694" at 4.38 pm on 12.04.09.

                                I have never subscribed to any such service nor do I know how to subscribe for that.

                                Today (14.04.09), I have called the Reliance Help Line at 30333333 and told them that I have never subscribed to any such service and the amount is being deducted from the available balance in my account. I don't know for how long this was happening. I requested the man on the helpline to take the complant. But, he refused stating that there is no such facility and suggested to me to call the number 56694111 to unsubscribe for the above service. He could not give any details as to when the service was activated and who requested for that.

                                When I was trying to call the above number[protected], I came to know that there was no credit in my account and to my surprise there is a debit balance of Rs.14 i.e. overdrawn. After recharging the mobile with Rs.100/- in January 2009, I hardly made any calls (maximum 10) from the mobile and I was under the impression that there is enough balance. I was not aware that mobile companies can provide the services without our request and charge to our account without our knowledge.

                                This is a clear case of cheating the people, which cannot be tolerated.

                                Kindly initiate necessary action in this regard.

                                My balance was also deducted by Rs 30/-. When I inquire about that the reliance care told me that I have subscribe to this service but I have not ever. I also had called them before Recharging my prepaid account if there is any service going on my sim and they told me that there is nothing activated.

                                This is the second time they have deducted my prepaid account by Rs 30. First time they activated some music service and when inquired about that they denied about that.

                                This is a fraud and cheat case. Please someone do help out this.

                                  This is to inform you that I have given my vehicle for repair after a small accident.

                                  case:-

                                  I have given my vehicle for repair to the Maruti Authorised Service Station-Excel Automobiles-Delhi-Dwarka.

                                  he has quoted me the total expence of rs 15K approx.
                                  When I have gone to collect my vehicle for trail he has shown me directly the bill of Rs 29047.
                                  Surprising part is out of that 10, 000 is LABOUR CHARGES which is 50% of total bill.
                                  Is that possible?

                                  Secondly when I asked the vehicle for Trails Owner Mr Krishan/Mukesh has clearly told me that i can only take the trail once 30 K is paid.

                                  the kingd of humilation & insult I have faced not in my carrerr i have faced.

                                  is this the way maruti behave swith customers.

                                  if that is the matter I feel strongly that Not for long you can continue as number-1.

                                  I feel if you really think or value your customer pls talk to me for further clarification.

                                  My concern is not the money he overchrged but the behaviour which I got ...

                                  Mind it Iam a through professional & used all my experience to resolve the issue & requested them not be behave in that fassion.

                                  Finally I have paid entire money from my credit card & decided not to ever take any services from Maruti.

                                  I may also sell my vehicle & has canceeled my plan of SX-4 planned with Ring Road Honda.

                                    Hi friends,

                                    This is kamesh i have reliance CDMA post paid connection. The no is [protected] on nov 16 2008 i have given to changed my bill plan to JADU 249 and paln was changed in this plan std rates are 1 RS to any operator after three months i came to know tht current bill plan is SRP 200 and std calling rates are 1:50 Rs. Tht too without information they changed the paln i dint know how. please suggest me wht to do know.

                                    I have the same kind of complaint, I have reliance cdma phone. Reliance has sent me the bill on 8th of MAy by mail for which my last date of payment has to be 25th may but they barred my calls on 9th may itself and even without any information.

                                    Than i visited reliance world and came to know that it was due to outstanding payment. Than i made the payment but my phone calls still barred even the 8 days of bill payments. I visited reliance inforcon a number of time. There i met reliance executive Mr Rahul in their Sanjay Place AGRA CENTRE and promised me to remove the call barred from my phone but they have not started my phon yet.

                                      Dear Madam/Sir,

                                      I got home delivered Reliance Netconnect Broadband + USB modem from Vriti Infocom Pvt Ltd -Authorised Dealer(code:[protected]) for Reliance having offices in Delhi / Mumbai by paying Rs. 3500/= on cash with a promotional scheme of goa tour .

                                      I have netconnect broadband connection. I used it for 5 days only 14th April till 19th April . I Hardly downloaded any data. My connection was discontinued on 20th April. I complained to reliance customer care and got the reason for disconnection your usage is Rs 5400. Next day I got call from reliance that please pay Rs 12000 to get your connection back. My total bill is amounting to Rs. 11, 800. Can somebody please explain to me what is happening. I have complained to the customer case at least 10 times. But nothing happened. It has been totally frustrating experience.

                                      The samething happened with me.
                                      I took new coneecttion from Reliance. From 22-May-09 morning onward it was stop working due to high usage. On 23-May-09, I went to Reliance Web World and I came to know that I have to pay Rs. 5637 (approx). I asked the Reliance executive how much I have to pay so that my data card will start working. He suggested me to pay Rs. 3737, I paid that amount and expecting the service will get resume.

                                      On 23-May-09 service was not get active and on 24-May-09, I again spoke to customer care and I was shocked to know that I had to pay Rs. 10, 523 I have to pay more. They told me that my bill was generated on 22-May-09, below are the my queries:

                                      Why the customer care didn’t inform me on 23-May-09, when I went there to make payment?
                                      How this much o[censored]sage went up?
                                      Since my credit limit was up to Rs.1900, then how this much of amount goes up?
                                      Why my connection didn’t get stop when I crossed the credit limit.
                                      In cell phone if my usage is high I am getting the information, or service is getting stop, then why it didn’t with this connection?
                                      How the unbilled usage got changed from 23-May-09 to 24-May-09.

                                      i am using broadband+ high speed data card 10GB night plan, when i got my bill i was shocked that they have charged me for the day usages, when i check the information on net, (wireless data usages) the data was not showing that i have used the net in day time.
                                      Very true they system sucks and which can be proven with the wireless data usage..
                                      But still they are not accepting their fault in system..
                                      This was resolved after I contacted reliance. They waived off the whole amount and did not charge anything for the usage.
