Subject Summary- Brought a Reliance Communication Data card worth 2499/- with offer of 2 months unlimited access free and also promise to get the data card returned if any major problem. Got bill for 1st month, suffering for last 3 weeks with disconnection and pathetic service even after continuous follow up. Now, after not willing to continue the connection, Reliance not even willing to return money the basic data card amount ( on return of the data card, that could not be used with any other provider)

Details:
I bought a Reliance Data card from Reliance Web World Express, Diadem Infocom, Amrapali Green Indirapuram, Ghaziabad (Phone: [protected]) on 2nd Feb ‘09.
It was with the offer of 2 months unlimited connection. The connection was activated after all the papers were submitted on 3rd Feb 09. It was also with a discussion that if there is any major problem because of connectivity or service, I would be returning the data card and connection.

Surprisingly, I got a call from Reliance in 2nd Week of March ‘09 that my connection would be disconnected as my payment is pending. I explained in detail about the offer and also about not receiving any bill.

In few days I received a bill in my mail box and at the same time my connection was disconnected. I contacted Reliance customer care, but no result.

12th March, I contacted the local Reliance Web in Amrapali Green Indirapuram. Mr. Amit picked up and noted the problem.

16th March, I contacted Deepak Yadav; the owner of the local Reliance Web in Amrapali Green Indirapuram. He replied that things will be taken care in a day.

On 17th March I contacted the local Reliance Web Amrapali Green Indirapuram again over phone. Mr. Rajesh picked up, noted my reliance number and shared that he will take care of it. Nothing happened.

On 18th March, I contacted Reliance Customer care, after long discussion; call was forwarded to Data Card division and after 1 hrs to total discussion; they just said to contact the local Reliance Web. Again, I contacted the local Reliance Web in Amrapali Green Indirapuram. Mr. Amit picked up; explained him again about the problem.

On 19th March evening, I personally dropped in to local Reliance Web in Amrapali Green Indirapuram; submitted a copy of my bill and explained the problem again; lady told me to give back a call by 12 pm next day. Call never came.

On 20th March evening, again dropped in to local Reliance Web in Amrapali Green Indirapuram; Mr. Rajesh available there told me that to come next day as they are about to close.

On 23th March contacted local Reliance Web in Amrapali Green Indirapuram asked about the status of the problem but had to explain the whole problem once again.

I sent a mail to [protected]@rcom.co.in with Subject : Faulty Bill Reliance No. : [protected] on 23rd March 09. SO far there is no response

On 24th March contacted local Reliance Web in Amrapali Green Indirapuram; the phoned got rolled to multiple person; at last when I insisted to talk with the owner, Deepak Yadav promised to take care of it and update me next day.

On 25th March, Deepak Yadav called me up and updated that a case is been created to Reliance and I will be updated in next 72 hrs.

26th March, I was called from Reliance Mumbai and updated that during the period when I took the data card, the offer of 2 month free access of removed for few days; asked me to contact local Reliance Web and short out the things locally because of the false promise. Evening I called up again to Deepak and updated him that I was to pay the monthly bill but return the data card as I am not interested to retain the connection.

28th March, I visited local Reliance Web in Amrapali Green Indirapuram to return the card and close the connection; they refused to get the data card back and return the money for data card.

It was a PATHATIC and HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH RELIACCE. Worst part was NO ONE WAS WILLING TO DO ANYTHING, STARTING WITH CUSTOMER CARE TO LOCAL RELIANCE WEB IN INDIRAPURAM. It was with sarcastic opinion that you already paid for the data card and connection now you have to continue as you can’t even shift to another mobile operator using the same data card.

For me it was not just matter of the 2500/- I paid for the card; it is AGAINST THE PATHATIC SERVICE AND THE OPEN CHEATTING THAT IS BEEN DONE. Now even not willing to return the basic amount of the data card that I could not even use with another telecom provider.

Reliance — Datacard Issue and Setvice is Pathetic

Data card purchased 4 months back and has issues with browsing. Speed is pathetic and their service is also is like the speed of data card. Customer service is like a hell. No one is bothered to serve. Customer care ppl try to convince by making courtesy call. Attitude is atrocious. I dont have any more bad words to say against them. All the avaiable bad words can be used to praise reliance.
My Name is Binu George, From Bangalore. I have been cheated by Reliance customer care and billing counter.
I paid my R-Connect Bill on 1 of Nov and on 10th of nova they disconnected my connection and they says I already cross my limit of 1 GB free falsity.
Fact, I was on roaming and I use my laptop least while travelling. I was shocked to know that my Data card is disconnected prior of payment. I also found wrong billing in the month of Oct.
Above mention is true and I can prove each and every word. Please suggest me what to do? Whom to contact?

Reliance Data Card — False Promise and Pathatic Service in Reliance Data card

I bought a Reliance Data card from Reliance Web World Express, Diadem Infocomm, Amrapali Green Indirapuram, Ghaziabad on 2nd Feb ‘09.

I have already planned to put the matter to all possible Consumer Forums; Possible Customer Conscious Websites about this service; share with all possible management levels in Reliance Infocom Management in Data Card and then put a case in Ghaziabad District court of Consumer Protection.

On this process I look forward for support and advice from your web site too.

I had taken a connection of reliance data card on date 10-02-09 from the reliance website on line. As address proof I gave my copy of my phachan patra, Pass port size photograph and Rs 2600/- Only.


I was told that under this scheme I will have unlimited web access for TWO months from the date of starting the connection.

After using this card for just 2 Days I received a message on my card no from reliance services that my outgoing services are barred. On asking at the custmer care 30335555 I was told that this due to negative report of address verification.

To my knowledge no one has come to my residence for the address verification.
Now I am loosing my free usage time at my cost. not only that I am suffering alot of loss of my work as I am in an IT company and my job involves a lot of mailing work which is totally jammed because of this problem

who will now pay for the loss my 12days I am incurring due to all this problem!!!

reliance data card- internet — reliance refuses to take charge to repair the data card worth 4000/-

I had taken a reliance data card in the year 2007 when i cost me about Rs.4000/-. However, its been over six months now and i havent been able to get the data card repaired.
when i took the instrument to the Reliance internet office at vasant vihar, the place from where i had recieved the instrumentand the comnnection, the executive there refused to take the hardware trsposibility and directed me to the Huwai oeffice, the company which makes their data card. At Huwai, after series of phone calls and chains of executive connections, they refuse to repair any data cards and only provide gaurantee for a year old old data cards.

Nobody takes the call..

on 07 .09.09 i took a reliance data card .my data card no. is [protected], name of Kanchan Arora. due to not submitting the required id they cut my connection on 23-09-09. now i do nt have the required id proof. so i m calling from 24-09-09 to withrow my connection, still now they are not taking any step for it and not responding ..now what iwill do???? please inform immediately mymob no. is [protected]

i purchaged reliance data card for internet.they told me...In your net plan 2 months free surfing & downloading.than after i used one month.that time net connection is ok. but after 1 month my data card not connected to internet.so i call in local riliance office.they told me your net will started only 2 days.i also call in reliance costumer care..thay told same...
i gone thier distance of every 2 days...they always told me start your net in only 2 days...
today 2 month is completed but my internet is not start...

so give me proper answer...& plz support me for sollution...

Reliance Infocom — pathetic services

using reliance GSM sim n not satisfied with its services.
1. poor network. in little bad weather condition its signals are unavailable.. as well as poor call quality..
2. unexpected start of the services without any information.
3. sudden stop providing services even if has recharged..
4. have got my mobile internet recharge done 2 days before n yesterday suddenly no internet services were available..
5. no customer care services available on calling. n if connected customer care executive by themself disconnects the calls without solving the problem.
6. takes long time for providing services..
7. the internet speed is poor n low as compaired to what they are claiming..

    Sir,

    1. I am paying excessive bills despite not making calls for availing services which are not required. There is no response from Reliance communications despite repeated requests for canceling the services.

    2. I have requested for DND (Do Not Disturb) to be implemented on my cell about six months back. However, Reliance has given my number to various advertising companies which repeatedly infringe my privacy. It is really offending when you are in a meeting or doing some crucial work and an unwated call or SMS disturbs you.

    Please take some strict action against such erring company. Also, India Today Book club has gone overboard which sends SMS after SMS despite DND. Their number is[protected]. Can I lodge an FIR against them for harassing me?

      Sir,
      I have paid my Reliance mobile bill on 29.01.2009 at Reliance authorised collection agent M/s.Maximus Financials, R.P.Road, Secunderabad. I have paid Rs.1403/- ( One thousand four hundred and three ) cash and they had given me the cash receipt. After 10 days my mobile was disconnected then I contacted customer care they have replied your payment was rejected. I covey them i have paid cash not cheque, how is it possible cash payment will be rejected. I requested them to clear my problem, they told me that is not our duty. Then i contacted Maximus financials, they told me we will clear the problem. Till today they have not taken any intiation. Several times i contacted them some times they are replying some times even they are not answering my call also. I have paid Rs.1400 again for my mobile activation and paid another bill also. In the bills they are charging late payment charges. They are sending every month bills i am paying the bills, but they are not settling the above issue. Please do the needful.

        Dear Sir,

        This is reg. Data card Internet connection from Reliance ([protected]), which has been running since last two months. This mail is being written as even in the first month of the services from Reliance had been discontinued citing the reason of non payment even though I did not receive any bill from the Reliance. In last month when I contacted your executives that my services are not running, they promptly replied that your bill stands due and your services has been disconnected. In this situation I requested them to provide the copy of the bill and as soon as I received the bill, I made the payment and requested the executives to restate my services and they took three days to start the services and that too after my gruesome several reminders to them (your executives).
        And same story is being repeated in current month as the connection is discontinued without any prior intimation. Now this to bring in your kind notice that the data card internet services I am using from your company, is being used by me for official purposes as service is not available from your side my work is hindering a lot.
        I would like to request you to look in to the said matter so that it should not repeat again in future.

          Dear Sir,

          My name is Rajesh Veggalam from hyderabad. I have contacted one of the Broadband executive for the connection and submitted my documents for verification (credit card bill, driving licence, 2 photographs- all photo copies). I have given a cheque for rupees 500/- in favour of Reliance RCIL Limited with the cheque no 239001 from SBI account dated 12th January 2009. After couple of days the installation people came and said that there is a technical problem from their end and could not give the connection now. Again after two days they came back stating that the connection could not setup so they would return my amount in 45 days maximum period as the cheque as to return from Mumbai. Its been more than three months now and there is no reply.

          Hope you do the needful in getting back the payment which i have paid to them and see to it they won't repeat such delays and give wrong commitments from their end.

          i have applied for the reliance broadband connection on 28th july and paid a cheque 500rs(they debited from my account). but they did not give the connection and told that sorry we could not provide u the connection.but still they did not refund my Payment.
          Hope you do the needful in getting back the payment which i have paid to them

          Dear Sir,

          This is to inform you that, as I told you earlier have been cheated and harassed by one of the Fraud and irresponsible leading mobile Operator of India i.e. Reliance communication. I really got a false commitment from one of the Reliance Executive named Miss.Simran dated 13.March.2011 at 15:46 pm from phone number: - [protected]. Although she was nice, humble and soft spoken and was very keen to solve my issues regarding my Reliance net connect number [protected] during the telephonic conversation, she told me firstly you make the deposit 1050/- that I will get a new number within 48 Hrs. (2 Days) as I mentioned earlier
          but she want to firstly deposit reliance dues, & she told me my dues is 1452/- but she say you make the deposit 1050/- & I’ll give you a NOC. & after 2 days I will get a new prepaid connection,
          but at this time I called him this number([protected]) she listen my name then disconnect the phone,
          and another lady pick my phone and she say simran is not here who are you I’m senior this, then I discussed him to all matter but she is not listen my cut the topic and say you give me a some time I’ll promise that I’ll definitely short out your matter and give you a new prepaid connection before Friday.

            In Nagpur, at a rooftop, the reliance mobile tower is being erected ILLEGALLY without obtaining permission from the local municipal corporation/body.. Moreover, it is being erected on a house which has MANY cracks over its face.. AND ALSO, no NOC has been obtained from any of the neighbourers. A police complaint has also been filed and this matter has also been reported to Reliance company's Nagpur office and also Pune office, as all the neighbours are against the same activity.. But no action has so far been taken by anybody to stop illegal erection work.. Pls advise remedy

            Preparation of Foundation workm is in progress at 20, Ayuwan Singh Nagar, Durgapura, Jaipur despite of restriction the work for six months up to March 09 and a pending court case at Jaipur. You are requested to look into the matter and don't involve yourself in this unlaeful act of Smt. Poonam Yadav who is doing this work in view of clouser of courts up to 31.12.08. The matter shall be taken up against all the parties involved through court after 31.12.08.Reliance communication is becoming party to the above act by encouraging Smt.             All civic body should cross check the structural analysis, design and construction of each towers, particularly the ROOF TOP TOWERS, wheather the anallysis considered the stability factor of the building in relation with the additional load and stress because of the tower. All civic body should also consider the actual uses of the tower. There are a common practice in the telecom service sector, that one agency design, build and take permission of the tower for their own use and latter on rent out additional space on the tower body to other service provider against hefty amount. That normally adds up additional stress and load factor to the tower structure itself as well as heavy ADDITIONAL load due to extra battery bank on the roof.

            Due to D.G.'s Vibration, noise & pollution one house got cracked in walls & people of nearby are getting sick.

            We have complained at Ggn. Court, Muncipal corporation & D.C. Office but there is no result of all these excercises, but police favouring the wrong people, Police thrashed a man and sent him to lockup.

              I am customer of reliance communication and my number is [protected].I am regularly using the tariff voucher of Rs.799 which facilitates free STD reliance to reliance calls for 24 hrs.I had recently recharged this tariff voucher on 21st of March 2009.I had bought the cell on March 2007 which provided two years validity.From last four -five days i was getting calls from reliance advertising their validity recharge of Rs.97 which would provide lifetime validity.I had used this validity recharge on 27th March 2009.From then onwards my tariff of Rs.799 has been deactivated.When i called the customer care they told me that after lifetime recharge all other tariffs gets deactivated.They haven't informed me about this inspite of making several call before.
              I want my tariff voucher to be reactivated as it was not my fault.
              Kindly see to my problem as soon as possible.

              kindly start the 120 tariff voucher which faclitates free from(10:00 p.m to 8:00 am) because me as well as my friend feel uncomfortable with the drop of it.

                Sir,
                I wish if you can look into billing and cancleation and billing processes of this company. I think there is some seriouse flaws by which consumer are cheated all over India. Simply customer should be charged on the basis of how many days services are used and there can not be any restriction on cancelliation, just like bank charges there interest, specilly when services are expensavi (Rs 1500 per month), if some one has issues like billing date and installation date etc. than on final cancellation only they should be charged untill cancellation not as per billing cycle, and why you need 15 days prior notice for cancellation I do not know? Please go through following complain and rhat might help you to understand situvarion more better.

                I am disappointed with your system as it looks like you are playing tricks, because I am going out of country and for the reason I have informed you much in advance, I have canceled it on 9th March and your billing date is 23rd why would you bill me? if you have not disconnected it that is your problem?

                I have used your services from 10th June till 10th March which is cancellation date and I have paid to you accordingly, I do not understand any thing like billing date and billing cycle etc.Even though billing cycle is different why you billed me after cancellations request? as per your policy I have informed you 15 days prior to Billing date?

                  I also have 2 complaints which I posted sometime back. I think the people sitting there are shameless thick skinned fellows who feel that let the customers go to hell with their complaints our job is just to collect money. Have you all ever seen this kind of grave attitude with any other people. If it had been their money, they would take maximum care and see that they don't spend any money unnecessarily but now it is others' money only know. All the customers are minting money and they are having money tree so they can spend their money worthlessly by taking all kinds of connections from Reliance.

                  Having this many unresolved customer complaints and still asking the customers to pay the amounts and torturing them by calling up during their prime time through their collection agents will this attitude change or will they go to any further inhuman extent? If this kind of their attitude continues, I really pity their family members, they will show only this kind of attitude to even their family members.

                  This is about recharge for the services and deduction without any calls.
                  An E recharge of rs. 100 was made on 7/6/2008 at 1:01 PM and there after the balance which should be rs. 86 gone to 64 automatically and then to 33 and that too without any calls.

                  customer service is of no use and they have no details . they deny saying that there are some services for which it is registered. No body activated that. It is so embarrassing .


                  They are making fools of many of the customers and no body is going to bother cause the amount is not such huge. ( Only company must be knowing the true figures. )

                  long time but haven't faced such a weird problem till now.

                  Till morning of date 15th Feb, 2010 . I have balance of more then Rs.
                  150/-, I don't know where did your peoples had deducted that balance
                  and on date 16th Feb, 2010 around 3.30, I got one message from your
                  Customer care that my balance is Rs. 14/-, so please recharge. After
                  which i haven't called or messaged a single person from that number,
                  but when I check my balance again at 5, Its showing me Rs. 0.27/-, So
                  can you just explain how it got deducted automatically from my account
                  without any call or SMS? and The main question is When I am asking
                  about the details about that deduction I m getting same answer from
                  your customer care executives and supervisors that it will be updated
                  in some time so call us after half an hour, Today its almost 2 days
                  are passed and I am still without any details. How is your system is
                  working?

                  The amount of Rs. 150 /- may not be that bigger in today's world, and
                  I agree with that, But my point is not for Rs 150/-, I just wanted to
                  know where did your system deducted my balance ? I just wanted to know
                  the reason behind it. It may be possible that I am wrong, Or it may be
                  possible that the mistake is from my cell, But your Customer care
                  peoples should give me the reason for that. That is my right to know
                  about the details of my account.


                  I had called more then 15 times to customer care of Reliance CDMA
                  Prepaid customer care, But still the result of my efforts are ZERO.

                  Please Help me. Please do the needful As soon as possible.

                          though i hav sufficient balance in my account i often face problems in sending messages.some times initially my cellphone window displays msg not sent, resend? when i do resend the problem repeats, later after some time the messages get re sent for the times i resent but my cellphone displayed not sent thus reducing my balance by that much amount.when contacted with the customer care i am being told shamelessly that the problem will continue for another week and the executive advices me like "sabr ka fal meetha hota hai sabr kijiye".

                            recently i got a new 3G sim no [protected] on 30 jun but till date i am not able to connect to internet,i have made a lot of complaints to the customer care, even i have visited to the head office and the service point,but i am realy dejected that they have not been able to solve the issue.

                            Forgot to mentione in previous post... I have been having same issue with my RGSM, since I got the sim. It was erroneously working in different phones. Once it registers in network and after few hours it fails to register with 44'H Error. They told me it is 3G compatible and it worked for 3 days in March 2011 and after that I never got 3G working on different devices, though I am tough technical person.

                            Complained at RWW many a times, changed 3 SIMS in 6 months for same reason. In fact right now my last important reliance number is in front of me in iPhone4 and its showing same error. Today 15-9-11, went to MTNL and applied for MNP for this number which is my last reliance number. MTNL is not so good but chose this specifically for a particular reason. Anyways

                            Morale of the story... YOU HAVE POWER OF MNP NOW. USE IT. MAY MNP BE WITH YOU.

                            On 15 Sep 2011, I applied for MNP my last Relince No to be ported to MTNL, and waited waited waited. Finally on 15 day the Reliance SIM stopped working and the same number started working on MTNL and VOILA...the 3G is fastest, the service is superior and charges are standard.

                            Generally when you apply for MNP the mobile company calls you for reason, here Reliance does not care for its customers too. I call this arrogant behaviour. Then you get SMS from Porting Department and Mobile Company about the day on which the porting is planned. But I never got call or sms for the same. Anyways I dont care and now I am FREE OF RELIANCE TYRANNY.

                            THANK GOD, MNP GOT SUCCESSFUL. MANY PEOPLE ARE STILL GETTING PROBLEMS TO TAKE THIER NUMBERS OUT OF RELIANCE.

                              I purchased a reliance post paid connection which comes with a mobile in May-2008, Gurgaon.I was told that there would be 1 year guarantee on the mobile from the purchase date.

                              As I am facing some problems with the phone, I contacted that vendor who told me to go to the Service center of the mobile's company.

                              There they rejected my plea to repair the mobile since its manufacture date was of May, 2007 and they repair only those mobiles whoses purchase date or Manufacturing date expires, whichever is earlier.

                              They may be right on their part, but my question is, Where did I go wrong ? I was never told this that the guarantee starts from the manufacturing date and not the purchase date.

                              Not the Vendor who has sold me the product is not lifting my phone and I even doubt that he is absconding.And reliance executives are not able Willing to help me on this.

                              My concern is that, Can anyone in India, just getup from anywhere and sell reliance mobiles.No authenticity of the same is available for them.

                              I am not willing to pay this months reliance bill since I have not used it from past one month and this is truly ridiculous.
                              It's like the same in movies.I am facing the' Gunda Raaj' of these guys and I am helpless on the same.
                              And on the contrary, they are advising me to buy a new mobile in less that one year !!! How ridiculous is that.

                              I am not sure if I will be helped or not.But this just one try I can make so that I donot have any regrets in the future.

                                Sir I have been using Reliance no [protected] since long. Now have purchased new blackberry handset and given request to transfer my existing number to new handset on[protected].30 PM. They have promissed me to activate the number within 1hour. Since then my number is not working and after regular follow up with them there is no responce till date. After regulao follow up with their executive Mr. Sandeep Kumar ([protected]) and his superior Gautam Kumar ([protected]) now they are giving me reason that my number was mistakenly terminated by them. Beeing dirctor of one of IT company and this number is given to n number of Indian and overseas client such a silly mistake and non cooperation from Reliance has put me in huge loss. As I'm traveling no alternative number is available and this has put my important deals on hold. Today also they have not asured me anything. So kindly look into the matter as early as possiable. As I had paid my all the due bills on time even though they had barred my outgoing calls without even confirming me, I had requested to their executives many times but no satisfactory answer i got as far. The main concern in billing is over charges of some facilities which i had requested earlier for deactivation of those services.so plz sort out my problem as soon as possible...

I submitted all my documents along with a photo when i baught connection, but after 15 days i was asked to resubmitt my documents, i resubmitted it again to avoid any call barring but my phone is barred since last 8 days even after resubmitting my documents.
                                  My prepaid reliance mobile number [protected] outgoing calls are barred despite of its sufficient balance and validity upto Feb.2021 and inspite of repeated number of complaints to the customer care service my onsaid problem hasn't been sorted out.
                                  Subject Telephone was Provided to me When the original Dhirubhai Ambani scheme came around 6-7 years back.All the documents was collected by Reliance Agent at that time and connection was given

                                  Around 6 month back I received a call from Reliance Bombay to submit photo and ID proof again as it was damaged in flood at Mumbai. Photographs and residence proof was submitted to Reliance Web World, Sector-18, Noida immediately.

                                  Few days back I again received similar call from telephone no.[protected]/[protected] of Reliance Delhi on 25th and 26th FEB 09 requesting to submit the photographs and ID proof again. Immediately I made a call to Reliance Customer Care(*333) on 25.2.09 and inquire about the deficiency. Reliance Customer Care intimated me that there is no deficiency in documentation and nothing to be given to any person requesting for the same, they may be unauthorized person.
                                  Based on Customer care guideline I refused to submit photo and ID proof 3rd time.

                                  Reliance in the response has discontinued my out going facilities from 26th evening.

                                  I requested Reliance to look into the matter and resolved issue immediately. Lack of proper documentation in the Reliance system should not be reflected as discontinuing the services. I hope Reliance will review and restore the services immediately.

                                  Its been more than 5 days since I have made my first complaint and still no attention is paid towards it.I am completely fade up with customer care careless attitude .Also I would like to suggest that a complaint number must be given to the customer against a complaint registered so that further reference could be made through it.

                                    there was a promotional scheme before launch of reliance broadband plus where with purchase of new connection (for Rs 3500), two months o[censored]sage will be free. i showed interest in this scheme and booked an order. i had a confirmation call from mumbai call center for the same . two days later Tiruppur (my city) reliance office gives me a call stating the confirmation of the order and proposed delivery within two days. then there executive cam and gave me the demo but the twist is that he told me that this is a regular connection not under the promotional scheme.

Sandeep Kumar and I've purchased a Broadband plus connection from Prime Net Solutions on 14 Jan'2010 through their Sales Manager Mr Amit Jain.They promised me to provide services worth Rs 799/- per month with ongoing schemes in which a user can download 3 GB during day and 10 GB during the night.The same has been given in writing on the receipt also.
                                    Now when I've used 3 GB and my data card has stopped functioning.On inquiring about the problem I came to know that the Services given by the provider is NOT 3GB(Day) + 10 GB (Night) BUT ONLY 3 GB.On inquiring the same I've lodged a complaint also on net through Reliance showroom at Kamla Nagar market where I received a complaint no.[protected] on 31 Jan'2010.
                                    Now NEITHER ANY REPLY HAS BEEN RECEIVED FROM RELIANCE NOR MR AMIT JAIN IS INTERESTED IN PICKING UP CALLS.Their team members every time ask my problem and on reverting back,they ask again.THATS REALLY FUNNY.They've however told me that I am telling a LIE that the service was only and only 3GB(whereas I've a written and a signed proof).

                                    Time and again people are showing their negligence and UNPROFESSIONAL-ISM. I fear if all the ARMED FORCES PERSONNELS also start behaving the same way,SAFETY AND SECURITY OF NATION WOULD BE AT STAKE.

                                    I am clueless and don't know how to deal with this Gentleman named Mr Amit Jain.I don't think I may be the only customer whom he has troubled.

                                    I'll really appreciate if this problem could be resolved.

                                    There is ANOTHER INTERESTING STORY :-
                                    Mr Amit Jain has told me to make a payment towards Rs 2300/- for using 3 GB stuff.Whereas as per scheme I should have been paying him only Rs 799/-.

                                      dear sir i have a postpaid connection of reliance cdma([protected]) in up east, kanpur . it was a prepaid connection before 3 months & i have converted it now in postpaid.after conversion, i have taken plan for for rs.199 for free unlimited calls in all over up. we have already selected an another plan of free sms for rs.60 per 1000sms... and they have given us an another plan of rs100 for 300mins. free for other phones in east up...& i have diposted rs 500/-security money and last three month my bill is never cross the limit of rs500/-.but after activation of postpaid connection, the co. (reliance) is always warning me that my billing is exceeding the limit & it will be suspended if i could not deposit Rs.500?400 Extra...
                                      before a week they always de-activate my connection when i ask for billl then they said that my bill will be generated after 5 th day of every month...and further they added that till i not deposit some amount to them, , they will continue the de-activation of out-going on my phone...
                                      i requeted them that our billing amount is not so high, , so plz do not de- activate your services...
                                      every time when generate our bill, , , , , it is proved that our biling amount is not exceeding the credit limit of rs.500/-
                                      Instead of all that we are facing the deactivation every month without any failure for near about 10 daysss... so plz tell us what next step to take...

                                        SUB: Overcharging of monthly Internet Bill

                                        Resp Sir,
                                        With due respect, I want to bring my issue to your kind attention that I am a loyal customer of Reliance Infocom from last 3 years, and during this period I have paid all my bill on or before time, sometimes with advance amount.

                                        I am using Reliance’s Data Card (ZTE, no [protected]) for internet purpose alone from last 3 years. The plan I enrolled for was RS1500 (Prior to taxes) per month with up to 128KBPS speed limit. With the taxes and all the bill comes out to be close to 1800 (@12.5 service tax+1% cess) .

                                        My first Big Issue is that from April 2008 Reliance has introduced a new scheme of RS700 for PUNJAB region alone and the existing plan, that I was using was closed ie. Rs1500 plan. But they kept on charging me Rs1500 instead of charging Rs700 per month as the Rs1500 plan does not exists anymore.
                                        So I end up paying Rs 1500 per month till October until I heard from one of my friend about this new plan of Rs700 in September 2008 and I requested them to change my plan. I used to deposit my bill at the reliance center in Mohali, but they never told me about the plan change or any other information. Neither I did not get any sms or call or mail from Reliance about the new plan so that I could request for the change of the plan. There was no communication from them at all.
                                        As a matter of fact Why my plan was not shifted to the new plan when the Rs1500 plan was abolished for Punjab region and I kept on paying for the plan that does not even exists.

                                        Not only this, I have paid Rs2500 on one occasion for which I never got any satisfactory answer from them. I have filed a complaint in their concerned department under complaint number 78552660 on oct23, 2008 and again on NOV 26th 4:20 PM under complaint no 81387385 for refund or Free service in return to the over charging of the Bill. But they refused to do any favor to me and turned down my request.

                                        I am now sorting the following compensation from them with the detailed calculations here under.


                                        April- Oct = 7 Months

                                        Orignal biills I paid per month (Wihout Taxes)=1500*7=10500
                                        Modified Bill = 700*7= 4900
                                        =============================================
                                        Net Extra paid Before Taxes =5600
                                        =============================================

                                        Taxes on Orignal Bill @12.5 as service tax+1% Edu cess (Basis->1500/Month) = 202*7=1417
                                        Taxes that I WOULD have paid if I had modified plan (Basisc->700/Month) = 94.5*7= 661.5
                                        =====================================================================
                                        NET EXTRA Taxes Paid =755.5
                                        =====================================================================


                                        Total Claimed Amount Till From April To October= 5600+755= RS 6355.5

                                        So I want Reliance Infocom to provide me RS 6335.5 PLUS compensation for harassment faced due to no action taken by them on my issue PLUES bank interest rate on the above said amount for the above said time period. Amount in the form of CASH or Give me FREE services to the amount equal to claimed amount
