I am a customer of reliance communication since 2004. i subscribed to my reliance mobile no. [protected] along with my wife's mobile number [protected] (both of cdma technology, post paid). due to certain unresolved billing problem, we cancelled the mobile number [protected] and my mobile number continued to be used by my family till date. reliance communication changed this plan to 4g sim on 04 june 2016 stating that the billing plan will be same as that of cdma plan and till change over is not affected, no bill will be raised. there was no communication possible from this phone number due to disturbed connection status, in spite of complaining to customer care many times. however, we received a bill of rs.514.32 on 25 jun 2016 and we paid the bill with an amount of rs. 520/- on 26 jun 2016. there was no speech / call possible from this number due to very poor signal and customer care and reliance web outlet personnel could not solve the problem. they kept on telling that there is some server problem due to change over and everything will be alright within few days. on 15 jul 2016, we received a message from reliance communication that " please pay the amount of rs. 610.67/- by 15 jul 2016". surprised by this, we ignored this message as there was no service from this phone number possible still. on 26 jul 2016, we received another message "dear user, rs 593.48/- is overdue on your account. please pay immediately to enjoy uninterrupted service". on 31 jul 2016, we received another message " dear user, rs. 1209.83/- is overdue on your account please pay immediately to enjoy uninterrupted service". the outgoing call service was stopped by reliance communication. we ignored the message as there was no service on this phone number. on 10 august 2016, we received another message “dear customer, please pay rs. 1209.83/- to continue enjoying incoming service”. after two days, the incoming call was also stopped. on 17 september 2016, we received a call from ms aashi sharma, reliance communications. after explaining to her about problem, she told us that, “please make the payment of rs 700/-, rest amt will be waived off rs 876/-. after making the payment, your number shall be activated”. she sent an email also confirming her words. accordingly, we made the payment and received the payment confirmation message also. i confirmed the same to all addressees through email. however, my number was not activated. on checking with customer care at around 07:49 pm today, mr sunil of reliance customer care told that the services will not be started until entire payment of the balance amount is also made by me. surprised by this, on 18 september 2016, i complained to customer care and all concerned to do the needful at the earliest. but, till date, the services have not been activated on my number and there was no response from anyone from reliance communications.
