Kindly read this clearly and make understand the issues Am facing till date.
Before the launch of 4G I got so many calls from reliance to upgrade the CDMA data card to 4G soon as possible and also asked me to buy the 4G dongle at a special discounted price. When I asked how about the tariff plan they told me every time that “there won’t be any changes in my current tariff plan which is Rs.999 40GB unlimited and the same plan will be carry forward. And also I enquired the at the local reliance store regarding the tariff plan even they also told me same thing their won’t be any changes in tariff and my net monthly bill will Rs.1149 only.” As per that I proceeded with the upgrade request and finally the 4G started on 12.08.2016, and the same day when I logon into www.myservices.relianceada.com to check the current CDMA usage details till 11.08.2016. And in profile tab my current plan was mentioned as ” DATAPLAN- DP_LTE_VOL_QUOTA.40GB” and after checking that and I started using it as per my normal usage keeping in mind that my plan is unlimited. On 17.08.2016 the service got disconnected and I contacted the customer care on 18.08.2016 morning and raised the complaint, they asked me to wait for 6hrs and as per the given time the service started at night, and I continued using it. I received a SMS on 20.08.2016 stating that I have consumed 100% of total plan quota allotted, now speed will be throttled to 144Kbps till next cycle. Again on 23.08.2016 afternoon the service got disconnected and I tried to contact the customer care several times but was unable to speak to the executives as my data card no [protected] was blocked so my call couldn’t get connected. Later on 25.08.2016 I tried with a different data card no and this time my call got connected and I was able to speak with the executive. And the same day I was really shocked and also very angry to know that my current plan was 5GB instead of 40GB unlimited plan, and my service was barred due to high usage, but on my previous complaint dated on 17.08.2016 I was not told about the plan changed else I would have stopped using the service that day itself, and I was asked to make the payment of some 9000 plus to continue the service. When my credit limit is 2000 how come you people can charge excess without my knowledge??? I argued with the person who was on the call saying that I was not aware of the plan change and requested to disconnect the connection and charge me as per the normal CDMA tariff bill for usage from August 5th to August 23rd only. He noted down my issue and told that he will escalate a mail to the higher authority regarding my complaint that my plan of 40GB unlimited was changed without my knowledge or intimating me, and also regarding the disconnection as I am not further interested to use it anymore due to low free usage of only 5GB, and he promised me that it will be resolved within 6hrs and also gave a complaint no[protected]. And as there was no response from reliance I called the care again on 30.08.2016 and I was told my complaint will get resolved by the next billing date and asked to wait till September 5th. And surprisingly on 02.09.2016 I got a call from reliance and talked to me regarding the complaint and promised me that it will be resolved soon as possible and I will also get the bill for the usage from august 5th to august 23rd only with normal charges as per the earlier CDMA plan. On 07.09.2016 I received a bill of due amount Rs.7618 after waiving some Rs.1148, again on 08.09.2016 I called the care and argued with the person who was call regarding the high bill amount, That lady promised me that my complaint will get resolved within 2hrs, but there was no response from reliance so I again called the care on 12.09.2016, and this time I directly spoke to a supervisor and I was told to wait for 3 working days and gave a complaint no[protected]. On 17.09.2016 I received a SMS stating that the waiver request couldn’t be processed. And today on 18.09.2016 again I called the care and directly spoke to a supervisor only, She told me that the bill waiver has already been done and asked me to make a payment of some 6000 plus, this time I really got angry and repeated the same old story that “I was not aware of the plan change and how can reliance charge me this much without my knowledge of dropping the unlimited plan of Rs.999 and I was promised that my earlier CDMA bill plan will be carry forwarded for 4G also and not interested in using the service further and request to disconnect the connection to avoid the unused bill ” She listened to my words and once again noted down all the issues and told she will escalate a mail to the concern authority regarding the issues am facing and have promised me that it will get resolved within 3 working days and gave a new complaint no[protected]
Now am writing this here only because still my complaint has not been resolved yet. I also knew that its foolishness to keep any hope from this customer care as they won’t do anything just keep on giving excuses each and every time. Now tell me what should I do??? What is the solution?. You people will take my complaint seriously or shall I move with legal procedures and get it settled down. Now this is too much and am really fed up of calling to your care and fighting with them every time and repeating same old story again and again. First of all the mistake is from your side, you people changed my unlimited 40GB plan without my knowledge or tried to intimate me regarding this. For marketing about 4G upgrade and buying ******* dongle I got so many calls, but not for the plan drop out. And when I was promised that the same plan will be continued for 4G as well I upgraded to it and used it like before. Else am not a fool to accept this kind o[censored]seless offer of 5GB for Rs.900 plus tax. So only I used the data as per my normal usage like every month. I was thinking am the only person facing this issue, but when I read so many complaints on consumer forums on internet regarding this same issues then I came to know that am not the only victim there are so many people same like me. Reliance have cheated all the CDMA customers in the name of this ******* 4G upgrade and each of them are facing the same issues what am facing.
Hope my concern will be solved ASAP and I do expect a reply from your side.
