Just to summarise the problem here:
The only reason I bought the 'Samsung twin cooling 465l' from the reliance digital Brookfield mall store, was that the Freezer can be converted to a 'fridge mode' and also you can 'turn it off', as explained by the sales agent (Girish). Once we got the product installed, we found out that the Freezer doesn't turn off & that the cooling still happens. Since then I have been constantly chasing the store team (Ali, Mohan & Arun) and no one is taking any further step on this. Now, If the product is expected to behave as it is supposed to, and since there has been an incorrect sales pitch, kindly get the product replaced with another product/brand or get the amount returned. I am stuck with a product which is not working as it supposed to be. Also attached is the inspection receipt that has been shared by Samsung & reliance technicians to validate that this "freezer turn off" feature doesn't work. I had been patient for a month & half now, but Kindly note that i have to take a legal route if there's no resolution to this before Dassehra.
I am also sharing the overall experience below, that I had to go through since Aug13th till date:
1) wasted more than 2-3 hrs on Aug13th in the Phoenix Mall store because of a payment issue
2) bought the product on Aug14th from the Brookfield store. But the product was delivered on an incorrect date
3) had to wait more than 5-6 days post delivery for the installation after multiple follow ups
4) during the product installation, found the product was damaged
5) had to wait for another 4-5 days for the fresh product
6) once the fresh product was delivered, had to wait another couple of days for installation
7) after the product got installed, I waited for a couple of days to check the freezer turn off option, but it never turned off and since then I have been chasing back and forth with no response
Reliance Digital customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
