Two incidents occurred in a span of a month.
First - we purchased a new dell laptop with a warranty that the product will work fine for a year. The staff here are actually representing each company. But they don't wear the tags. So when we asked the sales person regarding hp laptop he suggested that is better to go for dell. And that the hp laptop lacked a lot of features.
We blindly believed him thinking he knew about the laptops in general. And bought the laptop. We were also told that if there was an issue it'll be taken care of and will be replaced.
There was an issue but they refused any help and asked us to deal with it by calling the dell service centre. We then realised that the person who sold the laptop was a dell person and he had no idea about the hp laptop we had asked about. We felt cheated!!! This was a terrible experience. Still not satisfied with the laptop that was thrust upon our head.
Secondly, shortly after this, my uncle happened to buy two bluetooth wireless headphones from the same reliance digital store. As fate had it, one was fine, the other meant for my grandpa, refused to even connect to our devices. We went back, & they took their time to check it and this time we refused anything less than a replacement. And so they replaced it.
Once again we came home and charged it. Unfortunately, it was again a defective piece!! It worked only when it was getting charged. Once the charging is stopped, the wireless headphone refused to even switch on.

This time though, we didn't leave that place without a refund and saw to it that we get it. Reliance digital, is most unreliable! I don't know who their supplier is but the products they receive and sell are problematic and defective.

I have written here in this platform as the public should be aware that the sales persons don't wear their company tags and cheat us while we buy the defective gadgets that are not tested before. One sales person went on to tell us that vivo is an indian company! (He did not wear a company card, but we found out he was from vivo)

They claim that the replacement will be done in 7 days but refused it to us when we returned with the defective laptop asking us to go in search of a service centre. Customers must be careful when they purchase from there. These people wash their hands off. And at the end of it, our money, time and energy is all wasted. Never should a consumer be made to suffer like this. "caveat venditor" — let the sellers beware.

      I was misguided by the salesperson of the relaince digital store in my city. I was told that the tv has youtube application and netflix runs on browser. Whereas both of it is untrue. On complaining and submitting our fury again and again, yet there is no solution to it. I wish to return the tv now as it is not sufficing my purpose of buying the same. Revert me as soon as possible. It is a disgrace on reliance brand.

      It's been one month when we registered compliant and the issue has not sorted out yet. And from your side nobody is responding properly and not giving any information regarding our complaint. Very very poor and worst service by reliance digital. I am very much disappointed. Even our product is under Resque plan.

        not able to redeem promotion discount coupon

At time of purchase i have been told i can redeem the same coupon on purchase of any product from reliance digital. However i have been asked to buy product minimum value of rs 10000.00. I wanted to buy power bank work rs 1099.00. Unfortunately today is the last date of coupon's...

        I bought my lg g6 phone from reliance digital outlet in kolathur, chennai on 6th of may' 17. While buying the executives were inisisting on taking the physical damage insurance.
        Now when i went for claiming the same, they r giving me forms of insurance and asking me claim it myself. But while purchasing they were very clear that they will claim any damage for me.
        I don't think this a good after sale customer service.

          I had purchased Philips headphones from reliance digital Jio store @ Hyderabad (Chikkadpally branch ) on Sunday[protected].

          After paying the amount (999) from my debit card, they said their manager was not there, so they will send the bill by mail.

          So I have given them my mail id and contact number and left from store.

          Luckily I asked their contact number for information. They have given some number.
          So I was calling to that number continuously, at some time he had responded and said some silly excuse.
          Same reason he said that manager is not there.
          .
          Again I had called to that number on next day, he said that he will send the bill by tomorrow.
          But it didn't happened.

          So one more time I made a call on other day, he said that their manager asked me to come to their store and collect the bill. For taking the bill again I have to go 15kms from my destination. .
          .
          So here the point I want to raise is :
          1) they only said me that, they will send me bill via mail, which they have not done yet .

          2) I had a conversation with customer care of reliance digital Jio store, they had given me some other contact number of that store which is not working. So I explained them my situation, they were not able to do respond properly to my issue. Instead they said that, send a mail to customer care. So I had send a mail today[protected].
          So here I want to make a point that the contact number of that branch which they were maintaining in their database is not functioning. So how can they maintain such a false number in their database.
          .
          3) I have attached a photo of that packing box, there we can observe that it is already opened . I don't know how they have done .
          Even they have open in front of me by removing the staple pins which will not be in general as per my knowledge.
          As I was in rush, with out considering much about such issues, I left the store.

          4) who will pay my transport cost ?

          For just collecting the bill I have to go again 15kms (approximately) specially for that.
          And why should I waste my time for such an issue.

          Even I don't know whether my issue will be solved by giving this complaint or no..

          As a responsible citizen I have given a try in this platform, so that they will not fool others.

          So finally, at least I am expecting a positive reply from your side.

          It was almost two days[protected] over when I got a reply from reliance through mail..

          They said they will contact me for which I had given my contact number, but till now no they didn't contact me.
          .
          I don't know what's the use of asking my number rather than solving the issue which I had given my problem in detail.
          .
          It's a worst part on reliance digital. In this digital world you are not able to send me a one mail of my bill. It's too bad..

          It's really worst part on reliance digital, till now they had not given any kind of proper reply to me. It's almost a month. till now my issue is not solved.

          . so to whom I should complaint instead of this consumercomplaints.in .

          Finally got my bill after 28days from reliance digital Jio store by struggling so much over here.
          .
          Thanks to both consumer complaints.in and cshead.[protected]@ril.in for giving positive reply .
          .
          At least today I got the soft copy of my bill .. I don't think I may get hard copy which may take more time than soft copy..
          .
          I hope it would not repeat to others.
          First I had given a complaint in there database only, there after I had given complaint in this consumercomplaints.in platform.

          So again you are asking me to share my contact details again.
          .
          Well I will give one more try as consumercomplaints.in had responded positively to my concern.

            I have bought samsung j7 pro mobile from reliance digital store at adambakkam branch, chennai.
            I bought this on 19.11.2017 for rs.19, 900 and i was informed by sales representative (Naveen-mob[protected] and store manager that i will get rs. 1000 cash back and it will be credited to my paytm account. Till date i dint receive any cash back..
            Whenever i ask them they are giving false commitment as i will get within 2 days..

            This seems like totally cheating and making fool of customers in the name of cash back..

            In other mobile stores like poorvika, chennai mobiles etc., the same model was available for 18, 000 at that time.. Does cash back make any sense here??

              I bought this macbook air 2017 from reliance digital juhu. They gave me the defected piece whose speaker was not working. I came back the same day to replace it, instead they said it’s perfectly fine. Further, I went to maple, santacruz west, from where i got the DOA issued for the item. I went back to reliance and told them to replace it. They asked for 24 hours to wait but then they gave no information till 3 days. After getting pissed, I finally called them and asked about it. They called me to the store and were busy with resetting the older mac which i still had. After an hour, i asked them to solve the issue quickly. I took the laptop and started searching for options but the assistan manager(anand sharma) took the Laptop from me and started doing something. 5 minutes later, they informed me that by mistake i had deleted the OS and i have to wait for a day again for my laptop. The employees were uncooperative and started blaming me for anything I wasn’t awared about. Please look down into the matter and resolve the issue. I am currently without my laptop for which i have made payment 5 days before.

                I have made a purchase of lg washing machine from reliance digital store at marathahalli area in bangalore on 13th august 2017, cin no: u01100mh1999plc120563. The total cost of washing machine was 15990/ where the transaction is done in 2 mode cash & card.
                As i was informed by reliance manager that there is 10% hdfc bank credit card offer is running. So i made the payment using my hdfc credit card. They told cash back will be credited within 90 days.
                Now its more than 6 month but the cash back amount is not credited in my hdfc bank account also when i inquired reliance about this cash back, they asked for bank statements. I have submitted all statements with required details. But still they have not taken any measurable steps. Everytime they are making fake promises. Not picking up my calls. I just want reliance to issue my cash back as assured by them.

                I have filled it 3 times in past 2 months. Why don't you guys keep a track of the raised grievances and do follow up whether they are resolved or not?

                  I purchased a usha steam. Iron from reliance digital on.16.7.2017 from reliance digital. After that it has been sent for service many times. Again and again i am requesting to change this defective piece. They are replying that it is not in their hands. Sole plate has been changed, wire has been changed (At my cost). Even after that it is not working properly and today a short circuit happened that could easily resulted in an accident. Just want to know will reliance digital take the responsibility for that. If they can't do anything about such bad products they shold not keep sub standard companies like usha in their store. That will only give negative publicity or bad name to a very renound name like reliance.

                    I am shocked! When your technician mr. Guddu (Mobile: [protected]) came to install the ac unit, he opened all boxes and found all copper tubes, panel for indoor unit and wires are missing for installation. Even there is a cut out in indoor unit and green insulation tape in pipes, which is clear this is not new unit. Please replace the unit with all accessories by today. Never expected such product by reliance digital. Your sale representative mr. Shankar (Mobile [protected]) spoke to technician during opening all boxes and issue already known to him.

                    I purchase reliance TV brand name Reconnect. After 3 day it damaged and i am unable to switch on the same. I register complaint via telephone, service people came only after 2 week, this is the 5 day of after service mans visit, still my problem not resolved. TV still un usable
                    Well the reliance digital is known as very good all over the India. But in my city bijapur they took ₹10000 extra when I call and asked to banglore digital they were saying actually price but here they took ₹10000 it’s seems they are cheating.. so I kindly request to take charge to them

                      I paid for stabilizer also (Store team firt informed not required and then to buy from outside but i insisted to buy in digital only and paid the amount and not recd till now)

                      Recd product on 12.2.2018 and service team came on 13.2.2018 for installation

                      But to their surprise, the out door unit is not working properly and making noise and they they to complaint and get a new one.

                      I called above store number yesterday at 9.08 pm and given information for 6 minutes and 27 seconds and they failed to track my invoice with my given mobile number and informed that they will call me in 5 minutes and literally failed.
                      After that i called 9 times but not connected.

                      Is this the way to treat with a customer who purchased a high value product and earlier i purchased reconnect ac, to went back to digital to buy another

                      I am a regular customer to fresh also.

                      My question is how did this product got qc approved?

                      Everytime I call I will get it today but too many today passed by

                        I purchased the above refrigerator from Reliance in 17th October 2015 along 2 years of extended warranty through Reliance at the time of purchase hence warranty is valid till 16th October 2018 (Including one year of Warranty from LG on the product). During Jan 2018, I observed that the digital display outside is the refrigerator is getting dim and even the minus sign on for freezer compartment nearly vanishing. I called customer care and they had assigned Call Number [protected] for same.
                        Firstly a technician from reliance visited and after examination he went back saying that this will be done by LG service technicians. Within couple of days LG technician (Raeesuddin) visited our home, he opened the glass panel outside the fridge and also checked from top for any problems. as he could not fix the problem, he took a picture of PCB, put the PCB back and fixed the glass panel and told me that he will order the part. After few days, Mr. Yashpal another technician from LG visited along with the PCB. He opened the glass panel using screw driver and dented the metal body on the refrigerator around the glass panel and when he was removing it I was doing some other work so I was not there all the time. he then finally managed to opened the glass panel and replaced the defective PCB. On checking the new PCB, he found that it is showing an error so he told me that the part ordered is not matching so he will have to order again with right part number. Surprising for me as the part was ordered after taking picture of the PCB by earlier technician. Then he fixed the glass panel, when he was about to leave, told him that the glass panel is loose, he told me that it is only on the three locks. I told him that it was never like this before, to which he said that these locks break while working. I told him then this also needs to be replaced as for such an expensive item, I will not like to have loose panel and he confirmed to me that he will also order this panel along with the part. After few days, Mr. Kartar Singh from LG called me that they have received the part and can he send the technician to fix it, I asked him is the glass panel also come. He said it is not available I told him that is is broken by one of your technician. then he took me on conference cal with Mr. Yashpal and both of they tried to convince me that it is not broken by LG technicians Mr. Kartar told me that glass panel is not available and I may get the fridge replaced by paying 45% of the cost with some discount. I told him why should I pay from my pocket and I had never asked for a replacement I only want to get my fridge repaired. After few days he sent me the cost of various models so I can choose one of them and the cost of these models were much higher than the market price. I again told him that why should I be paying from my pocket, he again told me that in such case they can only replace the PCB. I again complaint to reliance Q (Ms. Priya at Noida) about this and they keep telling me that the boss is writing to LG big boss for same and this will be resolved in next couple of days but nothing happened. I contacted Mr. Kartar of LG and asked him the development, he told me to talk to His boss Mr. Dheeraj. I called Mr. Dheeraj on 8th Feb and told him about the whole episode, he told me that he will make his best efforts to get this either repaired or even change the door to fix the problem as I told him that why should I buy a replacement fridge for the problem created by LG personnel. It was all silent when all of a sudden on 11th Feb 2018 I receive a Whatsapp call from Mr. Kartar which I could not receive so I called his mobile, he told me that he has located both the parts (PCB as well as glass panel) but the panel cost will have to be paid by you and also asked me to register a fresh complaint. I in turn called reliance and asked Mr. Priya to do the needful. She told me that her boss will all me. As I didn't receive any call I called Ms. Priya (RES Q) On 12th Feb and she again told me that her boss will call me. Finally at around 3 pm when I called her again, she transferred the line to Mr. Singh (ResQ) and Mr. Singh started taking on conference all LG personnel including Mr. kartar Singh, Raeesuddin, Yashpal and after more than half an hour of discussions, we concluded nothing. Now it is status co. I t is nearly a month the problem is not resolved by ResQ team and I have wasted more that 4 manhour taking to LG as well as RESQ personnel but without any result.
                        I had taken the extended warranty from Reliance and will like them to resolve the issue at the earliest why I should be calling LG personnel and your team consistently insist that I should talk to LG and tell them what they say. Please resolve the issue at the earliest.

                          I purchased dual converter ac from reliance digital on 4th february 2018 and dealt with deep pandey. I wanted a 17 ft long pipe for my fitting in a single piece. At the time of purchasing he promised me that only the charges over above 10 ft would be charged. After delivery he changed his verdict and now he is saying rs.600/- only would be given to the 10ft long pipe for the rest of pipe and he would charge 3000 for the 17th pipe.

                          Please do not buy anything from reliance digital as they promise a lot at the time of purchasing and forcefully ask client to enter into amc.
                          Big cheater shopping chain.

                            I own a hul marvella pureit. I had purchased a additional warranty from reliance digital for the same. I was told that all the consumables till end of the warranty are free of charge. I had an issue with the tap of the water purifier.

                            I raised a complaint for the same. The service person told me that changing of tap is chargable and when i asked if he would provide me an invoice, he said he will not be issuing an invoice. When contacted customer care, there is no proper response.

                            During purchase of gadgets in reliance digital, they promote the additional warranty - resq. When a complaint is raised, there is no proper response. It is really a cheat.

                              Big tv — no installation

                              Bigtv - no installation for the last 6 days. Looks like they don't have staff to take care of the installations.

                              Its very difficult to get through to the call centre. It takes a minimum of 25 minutes to get through. The call centre staff have no experience in handling customers and keep giving some lame excuse and talk about a 72 hr installation window even after the window has passed.

                              There is absolutely no regard for meeting slas.

                              Can we do anything about this???

                                I visited reliance digital store, viviana mall around 9.30 pm on 30th jan'18 and i liked voltas model ac and was asking for discount wiith the sales person but he kept waiting for longer time and said other fellow will tell you about final discount but the that fellow was continously busy on mobile call. I they didnt bother to close and finalise the order.

                                After waiting for around 30 minute for billing also he kept me waiting for longer time. He was again busy with other issues on phone call. Finally i ordered the product because of brand image of reliance digital.

                                My ac got delivered very next day but found remote of ac is damaged. When contacted the store they said this was the last piece and need to go for other model now.

                                Still my issue is not resolved i have send written mail to customer care but still it is pending.

                                Guys please be careful and inspect the product properly otherwise we need to do compromise wiith our choice of product because later money will not be refunded.

                                  I had purchased 2 sony earphones with 1 year warranty out of which one was defective and stopped working in a few days.
                                  When i took them to reliance digital, one executive told me to take them to sony service center myself and refused to provide any assistance.
                                  What's the point of spending a higher amount on purchasing items from reliance digital. A local shopkeeper would have provided me service instead.

                                      I purchased a mobile for rs.13999/- on 25.11.2017 and at that time i was given a discount coupon of rs.699.95 which can be utilized by 31.01.2018. Today i visited your reliance digital showroom, in sahakar nagar to purchase a iron box costing rs.969/-. But your representative (Mr ramanadhan) has informed i am not eligible for discount as i have to purchase for rs.1400/ (Double of discount amount)
                                      But i was not informed the same at the time of giving the discount coupon on 25.11.2017. I felt that if the same is reflected in the discount coupon, i would have planned, but suddenly now they have informed that i am not eligible for discount coupon unless i purchase for rs.1400/-.
