I purchased the above refrigerator from Reliance in 17th October 2015 along 2 years of extended warranty through Reliance at the time of purchase hence warranty is valid till 16th October 2018 (Including one year of Warranty from LG on the product). During Jan 2018, I observed that the digital display outside is the refrigerator is getting dim and even the minus sign on for freezer compartment nearly vanishing. I called customer care and they had assigned Call Number [protected] for same.
Firstly a technician from reliance visited and after examination he went back saying that this will be done by LG service technicians. Within couple of days LG technician (Raeesuddin) visited our home, he opened the glass panel outside the fridge and also checked from top for any problems. as he could not fix the problem, he took a picture of PCB, put the PCB back and fixed the glass panel and told me that he will order the part. After few days, Mr. Yashpal another technician from LG visited along with the PCB. He opened the glass panel using screw driver and dented the metal body on the refrigerator around the glass panel and when he was removing it I was doing some other work so I was not there all the time. he then finally managed to opened the glass panel and replaced the defective PCB. On checking the new PCB, he found that it is showing an error so he told me that the part ordered is not matching so he will have to order again with right part number. Surprising for me as the part was ordered after taking picture of the PCB by earlier technician. Then he fixed the glass panel, when he was about to leave, told him that the glass panel is loose, he told me that it is only on the three locks. I told him that it was never like this before, to which he said that these locks break while working. I told him then this also needs to be replaced as for such an expensive item, I will not like to have loose panel and he confirmed to me that he will also order this panel along with the part. After few days, Mr. Kartar Singh from LG called me that they have received the part and can he send the technician to fix it, I asked him is the glass panel also come. He said it is not available I told him that is is broken by one of your technician. then he took me on conference cal with Mr. Yashpal and both of they tried to convince me that it is not broken by LG technicians Mr. Kartar told me that glass panel is not available and I may get the fridge replaced by paying 45% of the cost with some discount. I told him why should I pay from my pocket and I had never asked for a replacement I only want to get my fridge repaired. After few days he sent me the cost of various models so I can choose one of them and the cost of these models were much higher than the market price. I again told him that why should I be paying from my pocket, he again told me that in such case they can only replace the PCB. I again complaint to reliance Q (Ms. Priya at Noida) about this and they keep telling me that the boss is writing to LG big boss for same and this will be resolved in next couple of days but nothing happened. I contacted Mr. Kartar of LG and asked him the development, he told me to talk to His boss Mr. Dheeraj. I called Mr. Dheeraj on 8th Feb and told him about the whole episode, he told me that he will make his best efforts to get this either repaired or even change the door to fix the problem as I told him that why should I buy a replacement fridge for the problem created by LG personnel. It was all silent when all of a sudden on 11th Feb 2018 I receive a Whatsapp call from Mr. Kartar which I could not receive so I called his mobile, he told me that he has located both the parts (PCB as well as glass panel) but the panel cost will have to be paid by you and also asked me to register a fresh complaint. I in turn called reliance and asked Mr. Priya to do the needful. She told me that her boss will all me. As I didn't receive any call I called Ms. Priya (RES Q) On 12th Feb and she again told me that her boss will call me. Finally at around 3 pm when I called her again, she transferred the line to Mr. Singh (ResQ) and Mr. Singh started taking on conference all LG personnel including Mr. kartar Singh, Raeesuddin, Yashpal and after more than half an hour of discussions, we concluded nothing. Now it is status co. I t is nearly a month the problem is not resolved by ResQ team and I have wasted more that 4 manhour taking to LG as well as RESQ personnel but without any result.
I had taken the extended warranty from Reliance and will like them to resolve the issue at the earliest why I should be calling LG personnel and your team consistently insist that I should talk to LG and tell them what they say. Please resolve the issue at the earliest.
