I purchased a sony vaio laptop on 20th april, 2014 from reliance digitial, phoenix marketcity, chennai for rs 46, 990.00.

The sales representative forced me to purchase additional warranty for 2 years provided in the name of resq and i was informed that this will cover installation and service of the newly purchased laptop.

On 15th april, 2016 there was an issue with the laptop and the laptop didn't turn on. I submitted the laptop to reliance digital, thiruvanmiyur on 17th april, 2016 for service under reliance resq scheme.

Two weeks went and i wasn't informed about the status of the complaint. Then after that i called the concerned person multiple times and there was no response. After number of attempts, some one from his family picked up the phone and said he has left the phone at home and he will be contacting me once he comes back home. He didn't even bother to call me back.

On 8th may, 2016 a sms was sent to me stating that my service call has been assigned to an would be attended by a technician. On 20th may, 2016 another sms was sent to me stating the service call has been completed. So, i visited the store and claimed the laptop. I was told that the technician couldn't resolve the problem in laptop and it would be assigned to another technician.

On 9th jun, 2016 it was assigned to another technician and they didn't even inform me about the status for a month. I called the reliance digital, thiruvanmiyur twice on 9th july, 2016. There was no proper response by them. So, i called the customer care and informed about it. They informed me that they have arranged a call back from the reliance digital, thiruvanmiyur. I got a call back around 5:00pm in the evening and i was informed that the laptop cannot be repaired and i will be paid 50% of the laptop price if age of the laptop is less than 2 years and 30% if it is more than 2 years. I

Yesterday, i went to reliance digital, thiruvanmiyur to claim the refund. At that time they told me that since, i had submitted the laptop to them before 3 days of the end of 2nd year, there are chances of 30% of laptop price to be claimed. When i ask the customer care center, i was informed that they don't have a defined policy for commercial solution and only the service center has to take a quote on this regard.

It means reliance digital resq doesn't have any defined policy by itself and it is just for taking additional money of the customer at the time of purchase of any product.

I have two questions to reliance digital resq.
- if i submit a product for service, is there an eta for the completing the service call? It's almost 3 months, i have submitted a laptop, only i am following up on this every day.
- if you don't have a defined policy, why you people sell the service to customer?

@consumers, please purchase products @ tata croma. They promise to service your product within 21 days. Failing of which, they would refund you a definite percentage of the product's price based on the product's age. They have given all these information in the product catalog and terms and conditions sheet

    Dear sir,
    I have bought, pureit morvella ro+uv water purifier from relience digital store at pheonix united mall, lucknow on 23.07.2016.

    On 02.07.2016 three led of water purifier (change sf+change gkk1+change gkk2) continuously glowing red. i have registered a complain on reliance digital on 02.07.2016. vide call no.[protected] but no any technician visited to the site till date. on phone they told your product is under 'brand warranty' so we can't repair it free of cost, if we repair it then charge will be applicable.
    When i contacted to pureit costumer service, service technician of pureit at lucknow told that in their system date of purchase of product is 01.07.2016 so warranty has expired and charge will be applicable. when i asked that i have physical proof of bill date then they told that, you buy the product from reliance digital so contact to reliance.

    Overall i am being cheated between illiterate service center of reliance digital and pureit at lucknow.

    yesterday, i received a call from Reliance Service Center of lucknow (No.[protected].

    Technician reaped same things that till 23.07.2016 water purifier is under ' Brand Warranty' therefore we could not repair it free of cost. if you exceed your warranty with us after 23.07.2016 then we repair it free of cost.

    Then please clarify that where i have to go for repairing under warranty.

      I purchase a washing machine on 30th january 2016 from reliance digital bailey road patna. i also purchase the insurance of washing machine in rs 3000/=
      Your store provided me a coupon for other than washing machine any other electronics device for checkup.

      I visited your store on 14 may 2016 and provide all the documents for required to comply the checkup on free coupon. none turned from store to checkup.
      I personally visited to reliance store more than 5 times till date and more than 30 calls has been made.

      I have already expensed more than rs 500/= on fuel and call charge but every time i got fake assurance from mr. alok kumar mob. no [protected]. please restrict your cheating theory with customer.

        I bought a dell laptop on 1st nov 2015 from reliance digital which ideally has 1 year warranty. The laptop had some issue for which i tried logging a complaint on 24th june 2016 and to my surprise neither dell nor reliance digital were willing to accept my complaint.
        On probing further realised that the warranty had expired on 26th nov 2015, 26 days after buying a new dell laptop and not to forget i have taken a extended warranty from reliance digital for 2 years.
        I had to fight with reliance digital to accept my complaint (No[protected] and subsequent complaint (No[protected] as earlier one was closed. Warranty was suppose to get updated within 7 days as dell india had to send the request to head office - usa. Till date the warranty has not been updated.
        My keyboard is not working and i find it very difficult to work. Am fed up following up with reliance digital as i beleive its their job to update the warranty.

            Dear concerned,

            I bought an ac from your lucknow gomti nagar store dated 03-july-16.
            Entire payment was done then and there itself amounting to rs. 27990 against ac/ steplizer and installation within 48 hrs of payment.

            Plz note ac was delivered at my residence on 04th july 2016 by 12:00 pm but to my surprise its 6th jul today but till date neither steplizer has been delivered nor any representative from your company is attending my problem which i am facing post purchasing appliance from your store.

            Yesterday thoughout the day i called your boys at store and engineer but to be frank experienced reliance as usual is not a service oriented or customer centric company.

            Here i would like to quote my previous experience. Last year i purchased a double door fridge from same store. Needless to say post fridge was delivered not a single person/ engineer came for installation.

            Can you guys plz be more sensitive and responsible for your work and feel accountable for your job.
            Plz send some engineer for service as i sense some issue with ac.

              Dear reliancedigital team,

              This is to inform you that, my laptop gone faulty and i have provided my laptop more then three weeks before, but i am not getting even response from you. every time i have to take follow-up with you and you guys are keeping my call on hold for 5 to 10 minutes and i have to disconnected the call.

              As per the reliancedigital service centre team, laptop motherboard gone faulty and they are not able to arrange motherboard and checked with hp but motherboard is not available.


              + if you have provided the warranty to the laptop for any issues, then you are responsible to resolve the issue. unfortunately the issue with my laptop is not getting resolved and the worst thing is that i am not getting even any kind of response from you.
              I was thinning reliance is a good company and that's way i purchased laptop from reliance and taken 2 years extra warranty, but today i realise it was my mistake to purchase laptop and 2 years extra warranty from reliance.


              Now i will wait till saturday to resolve the issue or if not, then i want a new laptop with the same configuration.

                Dear Sir,
                I am Big TV Customer since 2004, earlier I use to pay annual recharge subscription, since, few months I am recharging monthly and using the facility, last few months I am observing every month 3 days in advance I am asked to recharge why? i.e from 26th Jan 23rd Feb, 20th Mar, 17th Apr, 14 th May now 8th June and now received a SMS to recharge before 5th July. WHY?

                On 27th June I booked a Complaint I am receiving signal but with frequent Error 400 and specifically told the clamp is broken due to extreme summer heat, requested to send a BLN clamp, they said we will send a new BLN with clamp, a half knowledge Technician came with out BLN on 28th and tried to align the signal and ultimately TV gone dead, he said he will bring the BLN and come with his senior Tech but never turned up till 29th, despite kept on calling Service center 29th late evening some new Tech came with a new BLN but he adjusted the same old BLN TV was operative, and he left. When the Old BLN was OK why I was put to 3 days loss of reception, these 3 days should be reduced from billing.
                Now again the old complaint is persisting, when the new BLN was issued to rectify the complaint why it is not replaced, once again I have to book anew complaint? Please Note: why service center is refusing to take the call saying your attempts for the week are over. If my TV is not working due signal issue, I will have call till the issue resolved, or do you want me to wait with our reception for week and call your service center? What is this nonsense?
                Please look into these avoidable inconveniences and improve your services, this very, very essential to gain confidence of your esteemed customers.

                  But unfortunately one out of four products is damaged and right now it is not possible at 9.09pm to visit your store to show and exchange it.

                    I have recently shifted to bangalore. I got my washing machine installed through resQ. Mr vijay service Representative.l got it installed. Then I got AMC done also on 17 jun. Now the machine has developed some fault. Mr vijay has visited four times to rectify the defect. He is unable to do so. He keeps talking on mob to his seniors but can't rectify the fault. Yesterday he told that he will take the machine to reliance service centre for proper checkup. Gave me time of 26 jun by 1100h. Till now he has not turned up and is not picking up phone also. It's been now 10 days. We r without washing machine. My wife is doing the chores because your service Representative can't do his job. Or is not trained enough. Kindly look into the matter. His mob no is [protected]. I am losing my patience now. If my machine is not made all right. I will ensure the whole india knows abt your pathetic customer services standards.

                      Hi,

                      I have purchased a HUL water purifier from reliance digital and have done advance billing when the store manager promised to deliver the product within 3 days because it was not in stock. It has been more than 8 days and the product is still not delivered. After follow up with the store people they are saying it may take 1 week more. Reliance digital gaurantees 24 hours delivery else 5000 rs coupon. why such false promises when they can't deliver the products on time. along with this i purchased other items also and really delivery of products was a pain.. so much follow up was required no proper response was given. still i am waiting for my water purifier for which the advance payment was done.
                      I had already registered multiple complaints on the customer care but no response yet.

                        I buy a new fridge from reliancedigital vr mall branch and they send me a damage fridge in that fridge key not found and no other accessories were found inside the fridge
                        I want replace of the fridge but they are not giving me any respose
                        I buy this fridge at 17/5/16 they send me delivery at 20/5/16
                        From that day the fridge is not giving cooling
                        I complait at reliance from that day

                          I'm writing this email to let you know the issue after buying a new fridge from your store. Yesterday I booked a Samsung single door fridge an I was told it will be delivered to my address today. I received the fridge today (10-Jun-2016 at 5:15 PM).

                          I'm very much disappointment to see there is a dent on the door. I immediately called your store an informed them about this issue. They told me to call back tomorrow morning by 11:00 AM. I would request you to take back the fridge and deliver me defect less product.

                            My complaint no[protected]which has to be solved within 48 hr after a complaint was raised, till now no one has took certain action on it, when I calledup customer support cente executive asked me to wait for next day, service engineer reaches u to solve the problem, this the way you people serve the customers and one more agent say application is slow callback after an hour. When you people are not willing to serve customers by sovling their problems so close all ur support centre which are not atall usefull to customer

                              Product out of stock, product not delivered on time, free product not delivered when asked about the product salesperson said have to ask the owner, already have wasted lots of time even for quotations, ac and a purifier was bought by me but none was delivered on time .the store dont bother to inform customer.

                                Being a customer of reliance digital, I have been feeling ashamed to say that there are lots of issue that I am facing due to the repair of my Tablet. It has been more than three month that I have not recieved my tablet after repair in proper manner. Every time, the service center sent it without making it proper. I have visited the center for so many times. Still the same is there. I am now forwarding my complain to consumer court and provide them the case as that will be the ultimate solution for my problem. I have consulted the advisor of consumer court and the case is completely clear in front of all as the company after providing me res-Q Plan is not providing me services which is a avoidance of customer complaint and harassment of customer after sale as per the Act o[censored]nfair Trade Practices and Act of Deficiency of service.

                                  I've purchased 1.5 ton Voltas AC from reliance digital

                                  That AC gives no cooling at all and even after so many complaints there is no response by the store
                                  Voltas company is also not listening to my complaint as I've purchased the product from reliance digital

                                  I want replacement of this defective product or I'll have to go to consumer court against such harassment

                                    Hi, I have asked reliance team to transfer my LG AC to new location ...after that my AC stopped working in new residential. In spite of my repeat calls to costumer care center for past two months no one came to fix my AC.

                                    The so called authorized agency of Reliance are least bothered to pick calls, if they do pick calls they never come to atted.
                                    I tried to contact LG care they turned us down saying since ur product is associated with Reliance we r not in position to help u out.
                                    So my request pls don't buy product from Reliance where there is no after sales service.

                                      Reliance dth team,

                                      This is extremely annoying!! I raised a complain with customer care few days back (Complaint #:[protected] about channels not coming and i asked for an engineer visit.

                                      To everyone's surprise there was no engineer visit happened till date & i was without network so i tried to move the antenna from its position & was able to view the channels.

                                      Now again i lost the channels & once i called customer care again to check what has happened now & got to know that there was a engineer visit fee being charged out of my balance.

                                      This is shoking!! To see such big brands cheating on their customers..

                                      I have been charged for a service which was never been provided, instead so much of distress i have been facing.

                                      Is this how you serve your customers??

                                      Shameful service! I need my money back and my services back up & running

                                        Worst than worst service.. after 2 days delivery until now ther is no instalation of ac... but sales man given statement that, it 'll gake 1 day to install.. i had purchased AC on 16 jun 16, today is 19jun [protected]@ 1600 hrs.. till now ther is no instalation...
                                        wht the f__k organisation u r running... so we desided to teturn the item.. so kindly give an oppdrtunity to return the same..
