I bought Panasonic straightener on 28 Nov 2011. when I used it the very next day, I got electric shock for around 1 second and I removed it. The Straightener stopped working after that.
As I was out of station I went to Reliance Digital after I came back to Bangalore on 17th December. They took the straightener, Bill and Warranty card and promised me to get it replaced on 19th Dec. After 19th Dec, I waited for 5 more days but didn't receive any call from them, So Finally I had to visit them . They told me that they couldn't replace/repair it as I didn't give them the BILL. They already took the Bill, Warranty Card and Straightener at the time they took it for repair.
First of all I could have got killed using their product.
Second, Instead of replacing the defective product, they cheated me by telling that I didn't give them the BILL. I have the record in my credit card statement and I have the receipt that they gave me at the time they took the straightener for repair/replace.
After suffering so much I am still struggling to get a new straightener or my money back. I wasted my time following up the issue.
