I purchased a AC of Carrier Company from Reliance Digital in Shipra Mall, Indrapuram, U.P. on 2/May/2012
They sold me AC at cost of 26990 , when AC was delivered I received a package on which MRP was 25320 and manufactured on Dec 2011.
I asked them to take appropriate action in this case, in reply to which they told that we will issue you a gift voucher of difference between both prices.
You need to buy another thing from us again to compensate the same as we can't refund the amount you have paid extra.
I wanted them to refund my amount in cash as I don't want to purchase anything further from them. They offered to give voucher for amount more than the original difference to which later I agreed but now they have stopped responding to my calls and all type of communication form my side.
I didn't want to flood my judicial system with such small disputes but now I am left with just choice of legal action against this fraud of Reliance Digital.
Even they themselves agreed that this happens multiple times. I think many innocent customer don't even get back to them and for rest they just safe their neck by offering Gift voucher

Who asks customer number on a facebook app? Were you seriously interested in solving complaint or want to publicise your app.
Anyways I got it resolved at my end, hopefully just after posting on consumercomplaints.in

    Please go through the mail, which i have sent to Reliance Customer Care -
    Mam/Sir,
    This is in reference to the trailing mail, till date I am facing problem with Reliance Digital ignorance. It is very painful for a consumer in case not getting the committed required services even after paying a handsome amount and extra payment for resQ.
    I am in regular follow-up with specific store physically as well as on phone towards DEMO & Installation checking but no one come till date. In case of any miss-happening physically or Monetary Reliance Digital will be responsible for the same.
    Even at the time of installation of the AC at my premises no Site Engineer/expert was available from Reliance Digital end. Only Reliance recommended carpenter Mr. Indradev Sharma was there and he himself installed the machine. Even Mr. Indradev Sharma not fixed the problem properly i.e. after working of wood/ply the edges should be covered with solution/putting but it is not covered properly and Due to this the hot air always entering in the room; that’s why no proper utilization of AC.
    I am unable to understand the kind of service & response from the end of such a big organization. I cannot walk regularly to your store and begging for the services after paying the good amount. Request you to please take immediate action on the captioned matter otherwise I am bound to take further action and have to take help of other available concerned authorities.
    1. AC not delivered as per schedule
    2. AC delivered by late night 11 PM and I faced Society complaint
    3. Installation delayed
    4. No expert/site engineer was available at the time of installation from Reliance Digital end
    5. Wooden work is not proper even extra payment from my side Rs.670/- even after payment of Rs.1393 to Reliance Digital
    6. No Demo provided by Reliance till date

      Hello...
      This is Amit I have purchase Desk top computer brand Acer and LG washing machine from reliance digital store, in oct 2011, as soon as I received the washing machine representative Named Krishna has come for installation and demonstration of WM and advice for plumbing as inlet hose of WM was unreachable to tap, after that representative has not yet come for further service. Now some days before in April I was out of station and I found that wire of speakers attached with desktop & outlet pipe of washing machine has been damaged by rats. I have immediately log a complaint to reliance digital store with Mr. Mahesh Dhok, he accelerate the complaint regarding to WM to LG service center and service engineer from LG has check the damaged hose pipe and suggested to change, but he told that I have to pay Rs.330 as service charges. I again inform the same to representative of reliance digital named Mr. Mahesh Dhok about the same.

      Where as washing machine & desk top is till under warranty period, I have also got the extended warranty by paying Rs.1000 with reliance digital. Till date I not get the service to replace nor any representative even call me.

      Please suggest how can I complaint against these people and to whom so as to resolve my query as soon as possible.

        I have recently purchased a Samsung AC from Reliance digital Hyderabad KPHB store.

        After installation , they have forgot to install the AC remote holder.

        Apart from this I have AC malfunctioning intermittently.

        I have called the customer service and store 5-7 times and the response is one of our representative will visit you soon.

        I have logged a request in Customer service with malfunction complaint.

        I have even made a personal visit to your store, but till now no one from Reliance has responded.

        After 30-40 calls, I got the reply that they still have [protected] status as In Progress and no body is attending as the service must be done by some representative from other location. I got this reply from Bowenpally Reliance digital service center. Need to contact Malakpet service center and after 4 repeated calls and follow up one representative visited our house to look at the issues,

          Hi,

          I purchased Products from Reliance Digital Bangalore (which is located in Cunningham Road) worth 1.25Lakhs. I was promised a 2nd business day delivery which was failed and later i had to end up picking up all the products from the stores itself on my own and the transport charges was put on me. This was the most Pathetic moment i had in my life. I had brought many electronic products before from other stores, but was always delivered by store itself and on time with no transport Fee. But here it was the other wise. Also i used to get many goodies for even a small purchase of product from other stores, but in Reliance digital it was my worse experience that i did not receive even a small gift even though i purchased worth so much at once. I have lost all hopes on Reliance Digital stores and would never buy any products from here again and would not recommend as well. Would post the same in all the Forums and social media as well for the worse service i had been through. Let me tell you one more thing. In Dell we always have to purchase many electronic products and many other to provide as gifts to employes, and i was recommending Reliance for the same. But now you have also lost all the sales from Dell (Domlur).

          Also to inform you. I’ve been treated the worse by the manager from that store. When asked him about the transport facility, he declined telling reliance would not be offering any transport facility and many other conversations has lost all by hopes on Reliance Digital.

          we are cheated customers of relianceDigital. THis refers to the purchases made by us agst. bill no. C25720009 and C25720010 dated 25.09.09. KIndly note that agst. this we have purchase LCD TV , 3 AC and A MIcro wave OVen. It took almost 15 days to install al these componenets at our place after paying to Reliance Digital. Now we have got complaint in the LCD TV installed at our Home. We have given complaint regarding the same to your showroom regarding the same. Even after 5 days after giving the call the service person has not turned up at our place. Kindly confirm how can we realy on your quality and service of such a poor level.
          Another issue is of the free gifts to be offered to us against this purchase of Rs. 1,70000/- approx. of value Rs. 55000/- (i.e. Gold chains as confirmed in your bill) Kindly note that till date we have not received the gifts from you. I f you are making such delays kindly confirm why we should not move to the consumer court agst. your poor service.
          LAso not that will charge you for the mental harrashment incurred during this process. Kindly let us know within 3 days else we are at our will to take further action.

          Hi,
          I had purchased a Reliance AC 8 months ago. It had a free installation and 1 Year warranty with it. The AC has gas leak problems since day 1. Inspite of number of followups with customer care, there is no response. I have losed entire warranty period and still waiting the installation. I did not expect this from a Reliance group company.

            From past three days we are waiting for TV to be installed, i havent heard any thing from Reliance Digital. I have tried calling your customer care call centre # [protected]. Response to the customer is VERY VERY POOR. If this is the response after you collect MONEY from us. then I would neither purcase from Reliance any more nor recommend RELIANCE to any third party.

              I bought KENT GRAND RO from Reliance Digital 7 months back.
              My KENT is not working now, Reliance Digital customer service and service center attitude is bad. They do not respond to customer complaints even after chasing them every day. They do not provide ETA to repair the macine or replace the machine.

              KENT has bad after sales service. Reliance Digital has no service attitude, leaving cutomer at their own peril.

                Relaince Digital under the name of ResQ is running a scam. They conned me into buying an AC with ResQ for 2 years. The advertised price was 18500 but when I went to buy - they madeup some spurious stories and indicated that that the last day validity for those prices were over and new price was RS 23000. They promised to waive off the installation charges and include 2 years ResQ AMC if I paid 23000. I agreed. Now I am finding out that the cheats never really intended to provide any service under ResQ as for the last 3 weeks I have been trying to get an engineer to my place and have been given all kinds of excuse by the service centre people - Asha and Anees. They refuse to put me onto anyone senior not do they suggest how I can cancel my AMC. I am regretting buying the AC and signing up for the AMC service under ResQ from Reliance.

                  I ahve purchase Laptop from Reliance Digital,Phoenix Mall, Viman Nagar on 24th/March/2012 on Gudi Padawa offer, this offer including MTS Data Card on 799/- INR.

                  Even though i have paid full money and additional 500/- to first recharge, my Data Card took 10 Days to activate and when it actvates its work only for one day. Then i have lost my balance and connection.

                  I did several follow ups with MTS Datacard and Reliance Digital but no reply and When i want to return the Datacard they are not allowing the same.

                  I spend hours on hours on calling with both MTS Datacard and Reliance Digital , even they MTS was put my call on hold for 30mins everytime and when i ask their executive to coonect me with floor manager they disconnect the call.

                  Pls suggest the best possible way out....its really fustrating and mentally harashment.

                  I am following them since 1st February 2012 by mistake it has mentioned 1 st April 2012. They ask me to call to executive and his manager and both are not receiving calls.
                  and customer care is not ready to register complaints.They did not started connection but generating bills and are not ready to refund 800 rs which I paid for MTS data card plan. They keeps the call on hold and never registered complaints and will never give you complaint number.

                      An Electrolux Tlwn Et 70 clgl 7.0 kg, fully automatic machine was purchased from Reliance digital Mart Limited vide sales order No. 56395183 on 10.2.2012 on the assurance that the machine would be delivered on 11.2.2012 which it was. Installation and demo was to be held on 12.2.2012. But the machine was installed only on l4.2.2012 at 7.30 pm hurriedly and no proper demo was given.

                      As soon as the engineer left the machine gave an E 1 error. The engineer was contacted immediately and he came back and opened & shut the lid and the error went away. After a few minutes it appeared again and the machine jumped time backward. After repeated phone calls on 14.2.2012 another engineer came from Reliance for demo and the same E l (error) kept repeating with the timing going awry and the machine did not complete the cycle. So he said they would send the electrolux engineers.

                      The electrolux engineer Umar Malik Came on 20.2.2012, noticed the same defects. He opened the back panel and knocked on the limit switch and said that the machine would now function properly: But it did not.

                      When the Reliance Digital Mart was contacted again they refused to put a senior person on the line and referred us to the their service centre. The service centre said they had lodged a complaint with Electrolux and from thereon the ball was in their court.

                      We lodged a complaint again on 21.2.2012 with the Electrolux service centre and when nobody came for 6 days we called again on 27.2.2012 and were told that there was no record of our earlier complaint and a new complaint No. EDEL[protected] was given. Thereafter Mr Kush visited and after inspection found the machine "malfunctioning. He asked me to speak to Mr Kamar Khan the area service manager if I wanted a replacement which I had insisted on. After speaking to Mr.Kamar Khan three times he said the procedure would take about seven days which have also expired. He had promised that the new machine will come by Friday 9th March.

                      But no machine was delivered. When I called again on 12th March I was told it would definately be delivered by Tuesday evening i.e. 13th March. On enquiring on 14th March, I was told there are no stocks available. If the company does not have even one more single piece what does it signify? In such an event, I demand that my money be refunded in full immediately. I cannot continue to be harrassed like this. It is more that one month since I have been chasing the store and. Electrolux and all they have is excuses, excuses and more excuses! In fact now Mr. Kamar Khan is not even answering my calls.

                      Will someone please tell me who is accountable and when will I be able to wash my clothes in the machine I have paid Rs. 15,119/- for. A reputed Dealer and a reputed Company are taking the client for a jolly good ride without the slightest concern for the problems faced by the customer. If a brand new machine is not working, it should have been replaced immediately. I expect a reply immediately from both the store and Electrolux head office on what course of action I should expect in the next 24 hours.

                      This is Arvinder Kaur([protected]).I purchased a ELECTROLUX MICROWAVE yesterday(13 Aug11).while i was trying to work on the machine its not performing as the was it is mentioned in the manual.A set of microwave safe utensils provided with the microwave was even not safe as it was mealt while i was performing a task with it..i request the service department to resolve this problem as soon as possible as the experience as if now is not satisfying...

                        dear sir,
                        on 14 jan 12,I had purchased a samsung galaxy note from the reliance digital store.that day they didn't provide me with the mobile case so for protection of the set I had to purchase a protecter of motlife worth 1300 from them.They promised to deliver me the case within 0 days however till now they have not been able to provide me with the case and always saying that samsung has not provided the case.I would request you to please help me in this regard.

                          Cheating & Fraud by Reliance Digital
                          We visited Reliance Digital Begumpet store to buy a plasma tv on 19/02/2012, we wanted to buy the TV using the existing coupons we had recieved and the balance in cash , the begumpet store manager informed us that the coupons had to be revalidated from Banjara hills store , upon reaching the banjara hills store the staff including Mr.Sai Kumar & Mr.Karnukarakan flatly refused to honor them , it is regretful that such a big company like reliance digital is involved in stealing peoples money .

                          We are not sure whether we will get justice or not , we recommend people to not buy from them , we have attached a photo copy of the coupon.
                          We will be approaching the consumer courts

                            Dear Sir/Madam,
                            Yesterday i had gone to Reliance Digital (Avani Mall, Kolkata) to buy a Sumsung Galaxy Tab P6200. When I reached there there was a placard showing that a Polo sunglasses and a watch is free with the Tab. The concerned sales person Mr. Sanjeev Roy also said that its free with the Tab. while billing they said that the system is not taking the free gift so it cannot be issued.
                            While billing I asked the concerned sales person that first I want to check the Tab, but they didnt let me do that.
                            After billing when I open the seal in front of the sales person, the screen guard was not placed properly and it was peeling off, it also had bubbles on it. I asked them to give my another piece thay ignored and their tone suddenly changed as i had already paid for it. What the Store Manager Mr. Chakroborty said is that i can have the model which is displayed in the showroom but not the fresh one.
                            As it is a new tablet in market so its cover and the screen guard is not available in the market. I had never been so dissapointed, i left the store fumed.

                            i had specifically told them i want to check the sat before i pay for it. I also said the sales person that if there would be any defect in the product i would not take it and they have to give me a fresh one, which they promised to do so. But after i paid for it their attitude totally changed.

                              I had booked a Sony LED TV from the Reliance digital store in Korum Mall thane west on 26th Jan 2012 via cheque payment.

                              The delivery of that TV was made on the same day.

                              But later one of their executives called up and said that the delivery was done wrongly due to some system error and hence they took the TV back.

                              I was informed that since I was a employee of Reliance itself, the day when my cheque got cleared, to just show them the passbook entry and the TV would be delivery on the spot.

                              Also while booking the TV they had informed me the same.

                              However when I went to the store and showed them the passbook entry they said that they cannot deliver the TV unless the payment reflects in our systems.

                              If that being the case then why was I informed that the TV would be delivered if I just showed the passbook entry ???

                              Also I get customer service calls everyday saying that the TV has been delivered to me.
                              This just goes to show the lack of communication and co-ordination they have between their teams.

                              This is very unacceptable and very poor both in terms of Service and customer satisfaction.
                              Not to mention the false information and guidance being given to the costumer.

                              I wonder if this is the kind of service that they provide to their own employees, what service must they be providing to a regular costumer ???

                              STORE ONE — Store closed...no way to redeem gift vouchers...

                              It seems that the 'STORE One' chain closed down suddenly somewhere in July-Aug 2010.

                              I had a STORE one gift voucher worth Re. 1000 which I couldn't utilize since the shop closed in just 2-3 months after the voucher was purchased when actually it was supposed to be valid was an entire year.
                              Even the STORE one in Nagpur is closed.

                              Even if a chain closes down suddenly, at least there should be some arrangement for the gift voucher holders (who are ultimately their customers) to get their money back.
                              Here there was no one even to inform about the same. In fact it wasn't even clear until very late whether the shop was closed down or temporarily closed for renovation.

                              Ideally a gift voucher is a very convenient and good option for gifting others but with cases like the one mentioned above, people may stop thinking of this option...
                              This is just not right for the people who trust these brands and invest their money into them.
                              Forgot to mention that I had tried sending a mail to their customer care, and it bounched... :(

                              I am cursing myself for buying a split Air Conditioner from Reliance Digital on 23rd March 2012. Big name, nicely decorated showroom and full of promises...we fall in trap. Once the product is sold...we are left mercy of HORROR TEAM. Nobody gives right information on when and who will install the A.C., they do not pick up phone, and if by mistake someone picks up the phone, the call keeps getting diverrted to how many people no one knows and finally ends up disconnected. Till today (26th March), no one has called either from their Installation team, Reliance customer service no from sales. It my sincere advice to everyone in Thane, please buy your goods from any other shop but never turn up yr face to Reliance Digital shop even in dreams...or else...you will keep repenting on poorest after sales service.: Varsha Bhingare.                                 Reliance Bigflix suddenly discontinues service to members for which they have received prepayment to continue service till the end of membership tenure.

                                I am a member of movie rental service of Bigflix. Membership number is 44589320.

                                It is extremely disgraceful for a company of their size and repute to suddenly withdraw service for which they have received prepayment to continue service till the end of membership tenure. Members have no choice except that has been decided by the company. This off-course shows the true colour of their company behind the "BIG" name. The decision to discontinue is one-sided and has been forced upon the members who has paid for a particular service. Needless to say they must have their legal process in place to defend their own argument and consumers like us has no choice at the end and accept whatever they offer.
                                How long one has to withstand being cheated as consumers in this country.

                                  I purchased Samsung Omnia W18350 from Reliance digital showroom on 11the Jan 2012 for Rs 18099. We had asked for Samsung Galaxy S and Sony ericsson Xperia Ray. I was looking for a phone theat has expandable memory, blue toothe facility and supports software like skype. The sale representative showed us Samsung Omnia and when we asked for all thee above specification he said theat it was theere and is more advanced theat thee otheer two phone we preferred. But thee phone in reality does not support blue toothe, has only an inbuilt memory of 8 GB and only supports tango and no otheer software similar to skype.

                                  I went to thee show again on 15the January 2012 and asked for theem for a replacement. But now theey are saying theat theey didnot say any such information and has denied replacement.

                                  I have bought theat phone based on thee wrong information given by thee sales representative and now thee phone does not have thee specification which i need.

                                    Reliance bigflix is a movie rental service where you can pay one time(monthly, quarterly or annually ) and watch unlimited movies through home deliveries or picking movies from their stores.

                                    Around 5 months back they closed their stores without informing the customers and started delivering movies through home-delivery process. Now around 2 months back, they all of of sudden stopped their home-delivery service too, without informing the customers.

                                    When I inquired about the stoppage of services, I just got to know they are shutting down the operations and they will launch a website for online viewing only. And they told me that they will compensate my remaining four months of subscription with sending me a DVD pack.

                                    First of all, it was very unprofessional of the company to stop its services with even informing the clients. Even they were asking for fresh renewals of plans just 10 days before stopping their services. This shows their intentions to cheat the customers.

                                    Now after my sending numerous mails to their customer support, they have just sent me 10 useless DVDs in compensating my 4months of subscription in which I could have watched 60-70 movies easily.

                                    I hope that some actions should be taken against them so that they learn that consumers should not be cheated. And I can get my due for the amount I have paid for their services.

                                      I bought a whirlpool 410L Proton refrigeration during the Christmas sale on 25th of Dec 2011. I was told that they will buy my old fridge for Rs. 25000 and will deliver and install the new fridge on the very next day. The fridge promptly arrived on Monday morning at 11am. The guy who delivered said that he cannot install or demo and service engineer will be coming up. He also said that the old fridge will be picked up by another guy.

                                      Called the reliance digital office and was told both the service engineer and the guy to collect the fridge are on the way.
                                      Nothing happened on Monday.
                                      Called again on Tuesday morning - three times, same message, they are on the way. Nothing happened and nobody turned up.
                                      Called again on Wednesday morning, they said somebody will be coming at 1:30pm to pick up the old fridge.
                                      The person came up and did not even look at the old fridge and offered only Rs.1000 as pay back. No sign of the service engineer.
                                      When I called up the customer service, they said they cannot pay Rs.2500 and are not willing to give any reason for the difference in price.

                                      Talked with customer service manager Mr. Somashekar as well as Mr.Jagadish. I told them that I do not want the new fridge if they are willing
                                      to agree to the terms that they agreed on. Mr. Jagadish was worried only about his commissions and not about the customer getting what they promised. Totally disappointed. I paid up the full amount on Sunday, today is Wednesday, I am not sure when I am going to get my new fridge installed.

                                      Reliance Digital, Bangalore — Missing plug in a camera

                                      I had my worst shopping experience with Reliance Digital Bangalore. I bought a Kodak digital camera for Rs. 10, 000. When I opened the box I found one USB point plug was missing. I took it back to the shop. They checked other stock n in all of them the plug was not there. I agreed to wait for few days if they cud arrange for a plug. I didn't here back from them for 2 weeks so I went back to the store. They had no answer. They asked me to buy some other camera as they can't return my money and also didn't have that model in stock. I knew it was their fault and ideally they shud have returned my money. Even though I only wanted to buy that particular Kodak model, I looked for some other stuff in the shop. But, they didn't have enough stock. Finally, I compromised on a model for 9K but wanted 1K back or at least a credit note. But these guys connected me to customer care. I spoke to their customer care incharge Mr. Arun. But, this guy was worst customer care person I have ever dealth with. At least the sales staff was better behaved and polite. But this guy was pathetic. He was rude not only to me but to other customers who had similar issues. He was really shameless and incompetent for this position. At least we don't expect such shopping experience from big brands like reliance.

                                        I bought Panasonic straightener on 28 Nov 2011. when I used it the very next day, I got electric shock for around 1 second and I removed it. The Straightener stopped working after that.

                                        As I was out of station I went to Reliance Digital after I came back to Bangalore on 17th December. They took the straightener, Bill and Warranty card and promised me to get it replaced on 19th Dec. After 19th Dec, I waited for 5 more days but didn't receive any call from them, So Finally I had to visit them . They told me that they couldn't replace/repair it as I didn't give them the BILL. They already took the Bill, Warranty Card and Straightener at the time they took it for repair.

                                        First of all I could have got killed using their product.

                                        Second, Instead of replacing the defective product, they cheated me by telling that I didn't give them the BILL. I have the record in my credit card statement and I have the receipt that they gave me at the time they took the straightener for repair/replace.

                                        After suffering so much I am still struggling to get a new straightener or my money back. I wasted my time following up the issue.

                                        POOR POOR SERVICE.

                                        Am extremely unsatisfied with the sales service of the thane based reliance digital from where I purchased DSLR - CANON D1100. Just after 5 days of purchase the Bag given with the DSLR Tears apart ... Near zip (this is the case when I didn't bring the cam out). I came here to show them the issue and the sales service man is arguing with me with bad words. Even I was committed to give a free tripod with this cam... Tht is still pending after 2 weeks. No dates/ commitment where provided to me.

                                        NOT SATISFIED.. WILL NOT PURCHASE ANY THING FROM HERE IN FUTURE.

                                        POOR POOR SERVICE.
