Reliance Bigflix suddenly discontinues service to members for which they have received prepayment to continue service till the end of membership tenure.

I am a member of movie rental service of Bigflix. Membership number is 44589320.

It is extremely disgraceful for a company of their size and repute to suddenly withdraw service for which they have received prepayment to continue service till the end of membership tenure. Members have no choice except that has been decided by the company. This off-course shows the true colour of their company behind the "BIG" name. The decision to discontinue is one-sided and has been forced upon the members who has paid for a particular service. Needless to say they must have their legal process in place to defend their own argument and consumers like us has no choice at the end and accept whatever they offer.
How long one has to withstand being cheated as consumers in this country.

    Dear sir,

    I purchased Samsung Omnia W18350 from Reliance digital showroom on 11the Jan 2012 for Rs 18099. We had asked for Samsung Galaxy S and Sony ericsson Xperia Ray. I was looking for a phone theat has expandable memory, blue toothe facility and supports software like skype. The sale representative showed us Samsung Omnia and when we asked for all thee above specification he said theat it was theere and is more advanced theat thee otheer two phone we preferred. But thee phone in reality does not support blue toothe, has only an inbuilt memory of 8 GB and only supports tango and no otheer software similar to skype.

    I went to thee show again on 15the January 2012 and asked for theem for a replacement. But now theey are saying theat theey didnot say any such information and has denied replacement.

    I have bought theat phone based on thee wrong information given by thee sales representative and now thee phone does not have thee specification which i need.

    Please help me and do needful

      Reliance bigflix is a movie rental service where you can pay one time(monthly, quarterly or annually ) and watch unlimited movies through home deliveries or picking movies from their stores.

      Around 5 months back they closed their stores without informing the customers and started delivering movies through home-delivery process. Now around 2 months back, they all of of sudden stopped their home-delivery service too, without informing the customers.

      When I inquired about the stoppage of services, I just got to know they are shutting down the operations and they will launch a website for online viewing only. And they told me that they will compensate my remaining four months of subscription with sending me a DVD pack.

      First of all, it was very unprofessional of the company to stop its services with even informing the clients. Even they were asking for fresh renewals of plans just 10 days before stopping their services. This shows their intentions to cheat the customers.

      Now after my sending numerous mails to their customer support, they have just sent me 10 useless DVDs in compensating my 4months of subscription in which I could have watched 60-70 movies easily.

      I hope that some actions should be taken against them so that they learn that consumers should not be cheated. And I can get my due for the amount I have paid for their services.

        I bought a whirlpool 410L Proton refrigeration during the Christmas sale on 25th of Dec 2011. I was told that they will buy my old fridge for Rs. 25000 and will deliver and install the new fridge on the very next day. The fridge promptly arrived on Monday morning at 11am. The guy who delivered said that he cannot install or demo and service engineer will be coming up. He also said that the old fridge will be picked up by another guy.

        Called the reliance digital office and was told both the service engineer and the guy to collect the fridge are on the way.
        Nothing happened on Monday.
        Called again on Tuesday morning - three times, same message, they are on the way. Nothing happened and nobody turned up.
        Called again on Wednesday morning, they said somebody will be coming at 1:30pm to pick up the old fridge.
        The person came up and did not even look at the old fridge and offered only Rs.1000 as pay back. No sign of the service engineer.
        When I called up the customer service, they said they cannot pay Rs.2500 and are not willing to give any reason for the difference in price.

        Talked with customer service manager Mr. Somashekar as well as Mr.Jagadish. I told them that I do not want the new fridge if they are willing
        to agree to the terms that they agreed on. Mr. Jagadish was worried only about his commissions and not about the customer getting what they promised. Totally disappointed. I paid up the full amount on Sunday, today is Wednesday, I am not sure when I am going to get my new fridge installed.

        Reliance Digital, Bangalore — Missing plug in a camera

        I had my worst shopping experience with Reliance Digital Bangalore. I bought a Kodak digital camera for Rs. 10, 000. When I opened the box I found one USB point plug was missing. I took it back to the shop. They checked other stock n in all of them the plug was not there. I agreed to wait for few days if they cud arrange for a plug. I didn't here back from them for 2 weeks so I went back to the store. They had no answer. They asked me to buy some other camera as they can't return my money and also didn't have that model in stock. I knew it was their fault and ideally they shud have returned my money. Even though I only wanted to buy that particular Kodak model, I looked for some other stuff in the shop. But, they didn't have enough stock. Finally, I compromised on a model for 9K but wanted 1K back or at least a credit note. But these guys connected me to customer care. I spoke to their customer care incharge Mr. Arun. But, this guy was worst customer care person I have ever dealth with. At least the sales staff was better behaved and polite. But this guy was pathetic. He was rude not only to me but to other customers who had similar issues. He was really shameless and incompetent for this position. At least we don't expect such shopping experience from big brands like reliance.

          I bought Panasonic straightener on 28 Nov 2011. when I used it the very next day, I got electric shock for around 1 second and I removed it. The Straightener stopped working after that.

          As I was out of station I went to Reliance Digital after I came back to Bangalore on 17th December. They took the straightener, Bill and Warranty card and promised me to get it replaced on 19th Dec. After 19th Dec, I waited for 5 more days but didn't receive any call from them, So Finally I had to visit them . They told me that they couldn't replace/repair it as I didn't give them the BILL. They already took the Bill, Warranty Card and Straightener at the time they took it for repair.

          First of all I could have got killed using their product.

          Second, Instead of replacing the defective product, they cheated me by telling that I didn't give them the BILL. I have the record in my credit card statement and I have the receipt that they gave me at the time they took the straightener for repair/replace.

          After suffering so much I am still struggling to get a new straightener or my money back. I wasted my time following up the issue.

          POOR POOR SERVICE.

          Am extremely unsatisfied with the sales service of the thane based reliance digital from where I purchased DSLR - CANON D1100. Just after 5 days of purchase the Bag given with the DSLR Tears apart ... Near zip (this is the case when I didn't bring the cam out). I came here to show them the issue and the sales service man is arguing with me with bad words. Even I was committed to give a free tripod with this cam... Tht is still pending after 2 weeks. No dates/ commitment where provided to me.

          NOT SATISFIED.. WILL NOT PURCHASE ANY THING FROM HERE IN FUTURE.

          POOR POOR SERVICE.

            This is very frustrating and disappointing experience from Reliance Digital.

            Have always thought of it as a Good and reliable store but my latest experience of it has proved it wrong.

            I bought an iball slide Tablet from reliance Digital on 12 - Dec-2011. The pack was unsealed. When asked for a sealed pack the shopkeeper said that the box comes unsealed only and showed all other boxes which were also unsealed.

            He also said that if anything is wrong with the piece it will be replaced. Having his assurance and Reliance Digitals Name we trusted it and bought the tablet.

            Also we bought a sandwich toaster.

            He opened the piece, switched it on and showed it us in a Hurry. It was functioning properly however on reaching home we realised that there is a physical defect with the tablet piece and sandwich toaster was also defective .

            Next day we went to exchange the same however reliance digital refused to do so. (Inspite of the fact that they promise replacement within 7 days). though he agreed to exchange the sandwich toaster as we said we will pay extra and buy the expensive version..
            .
            After arguing with them and they making us wait for 4 hours, still there was no result with the tablet.

            In the end they kept the piece saying that they will check with Iball.

            Next day they call n confirm again that It cannot be replaced.

            For a store as big as reliance digital doing sucha small thing was customer also is soo difficult. Even after selling both defective pieces.
            Why will anyone go to them then?

            I am sure If I would have gone to a small shop next to it only I wouldnt have faced this issue.

            Still my tablet is with them and No result. Would request the management to look into it on priority.

              We had bought an LG air conditioner from the Reliance Digital Store from the Axis mall on 1st of August.
              We were not satisfied with the service provided after the purchase. In fact there was no service from their end. We had faced a huge problem regarding the installation which wasn’t done on the right time. After having faced such harassment we decided not to install the air conditioner and return back the same. We had conveyed our intention within 7 days of our purchase.

              However after months of struggle; they finally agreed to take back the air conditioner and had asked us to return back the other additional stuffs which we got with the air conditioner. We have returned the standing fan and a rebok shoes 2-3 weeks back. They had been telling us from past 2-3 weeks that the air conditioner would be picked up from home. But till date the same hasn’t been done and I haven’t received my money back.

              The floor manager M Rajiv insured us that air conditioner would be picked up last Thursday. But when we called up to confirm the timing; the team straight away said that it won’t be possible on Thursday. After repeated calls and hot talks; they said they would try to pick up by the evening after 8. At 8:30 my husbands calls up the store and they said the pick up man would let you know the time. The man calls and says it wont be possible before 1 am in the night. We call up the manger who says wasn’t in the duty; his team kept saying the whole day that he is in the conference.

              We waited till the night and still there was none to pickup the air conditioner from the house. Next morning we get a call saying the driver did not trun up as we abused him. Firstly these people don’t stay with their words, secondly 1:00 am is not the right time and then they expect people to behave well with them. We had not abused the driver as it doesn’t make sense abusing him. However next morning the manger called and finally we decided the pickup would be done on Wednesday as in today. Now it almost 1pm and there isn’t any call from the Reliance store for the pickup.

              We have been facing this harassment from the month of August. These people have no ethics; no sense of responsibilities and no after sales customer services. The whole team simply keeps lying.

              We are simply fed up with the same and want immediate action. We request to take action on this ASAP. The following was the mail sent to the Bajaj Finance and LG service as there is no proper way of registering complains in Reliance web page.

              Last month, my wife purchased an LG air conditioner from Reliance Digital Store from the Axis mall outlet in Kolkata on 1st of August, 2011. The unit was delivered to me the next day (Thursday) with an appointment to install on the next day (Friday). The installation was to be done by Reliance Digital personnel.

              Even though I had office, I committed to the appointment time and was there at 12 noon (the appointment time). Nobody had turned up so I called up the store to find out, they said he was on his way. Time passed by and after every 30 mins interval i called up the store and they said the same. Later they passed on the contact details of the person in charge of services. I spoke to him a number of times and he said the same. Around 5:30 pm, the person who has to install calls up to say that he is on his way and would like to know if I am still at home.

              I waited for him till 6 - 6:15. The person then arrived at around 7 pm.

              After repeated calls, it was decided that the installation person will come back on coming Tuesday/Wednesday and install it. Time was fixed for 3 pm. He turns up at around 4:15 after repeated calls with the Customer Relationship Manager (Reliance Digital) and the Person in charge of Services. After investigation, he says that since its a RCC wall, it will cost Rs. 2500 for it. I tell him that there is a 5 inch brick lining meant for Split AC installation and to do the masonry work on it. He says it insn't there even though the flat layout is shown. He refuses to accept the fact that there exists such a brick wall. I ask him to call for the facility electrician and he will confirm the same. Later I get a call from his reporting manager and I tell him regarding the same. The installation guy goes down to get the ladder and doesn't return. He cannot be traced for the next 2-2 1/2 hrs. In the meantime, I am getting updates from my wife saying that he hasn't come back. I follow it up again with Reliance Digital Customer Relationship team, Rescue team and the Services head. They connect to him and he informs that he is downstairs.

              He comes back around 6:30 - 6:45 to the flat. He says sorry and then starts excuses when its asked what he was doing downstairs. Then he says that the installation will take around 9 hrs and since its already dark, he will be back the next morning. I called up the Customer Relationship Head and the Services Head and conveyed the same to them. Later when a teleconference was setup between the installation personnel and the Services Head and myself. He lied about saying that we didn't allow him to work.

              This is pure harassment. I told them to take the product back and refund the money but they say it cannot be taken back (though they do have a 7 day refund policy). They ask me to provide 2 days for the installation and give them a third chance. I am not ready for it. I have no trust. They are expected to be professionals since they work for such a big brand name but they prove to be unprofessional.

              Both the days, I or my wife had to miss office to be present for the installation.

              I have communicated the same to the Reliance Digital store and Bajaj Finance too. I want a complete refund of my money and the product (still unpacked) be taken back.

              The loan is on the name of my wife, Prabjyot Kaur, for a period of 8 months.

              She has given instructions to her bank to stop the payment to Bajaj Finance as this product was taken on EMI.

              I will be speaking to the Mumbai Corporate Office tomorrow (today its a holiday over there) to further escalate the issue.

              Please acknowledge the receipt of this mail, failing which I will consider it as accepted.

              As discussed over the phone, I am forwarding the mail that I had earlier sent to Bajaj Finance and LG since I wanted to report it to the concerned. I couldn't find the contact details for Reliance Digital or any any of its divisions. Although, I tried to register the same complaint using the complaint form in the Reliance Digital website but on form submission, it failed due to some technical (script errors) errors. I tried using different browsers i.e. IE/Firefox but I couldn't.

              I hope you understand the extent to which we were harassed. We expected professionalism and a customer centric service. We are quiet taken back and disappointed. I hope we can someday return and shop from Reliance Digital.

              As communicated, we wish to return the product as it is and expect refund of the entire amount we paid. Also since the purchase was done on EMI from Bajaj Finance, we would request to cancel the loan officially. My wife has already directed her bank for stop payment. I have received communication from Bajaj Finance to speak to the Dealer to cancel the loan.

              The product can be picked up before 9:30 AM or after 7 PM on weekdays. Otherwise, Saturday first half will be fine for product pickup. Please do confirm the day and time. Also please let me know what needs to be done on my side.

              Once again, I hope Reliance Digital can improve and provide an appreciable customer experience.

              Reliance Digital/LG AC — Faulty AC supplied

              We have recetntly shifted from B'lore and bought 3 Ac's from Reliance digital. Of which one of the LG 1.5 tonne window AC is having trouble right from the next day of the installation.Apart from that, the Carrier stabilizer supplied came without the wall mountable stand. From 10th of June till date we have been repeatedly calling them for the stand and completion of installation besides calling fro engineer to make the A/c work. First the engg arrived and declared the stablizer wire had lose contact and claimed having fixed the problem and left. When we switched the A/c later in the evening we found the AC was not cooling at all. Repeated follow-up calls continued and finally one shabby engg(outsourced from some other company arrived. He pullout out the Ac from the wall, opened it fully, pouired some 2 bottles of cold water in some part of AC and tried his hand at making the Ac cool down. He again found the stabilizer wire was not installed properly. I am AGHASt that as simple as a wire cannot be fixed properly by the so called technicians. The AC still does nt cool down and ingact blows hot air at 35 degrees and I am still awaiting a solution.
              Please help!

              LG — Extremely poor sense of responsibility

              Dear Sir,
              I have been lodging repeated complaints of TVs; one with my in laws Mr Arun Coomar (a senoir citizen) and other with me. The problem has been attended to at both the places in Lucknow. The technicians know the problem of which component to replace/repair. I do not know what feed back these guys give to their bosses that it is treated as DONE in their records. However, the problem continues to lie with both the TVs unsesolved. In one case they were to change the speakers and in other case they were to replace the sound card. The technician gets uncompatible sound card which he knew it to be, yet he opened the TV tried and made us realise that he is sincere but the fault lies with despatchers.He promised that he will come with the compatible card. It has been over a month no response whatsoever. Mr ArunCoomar TV has irratic sound and in my TV sound comes back after switching it off/on time again. The Area Supervisor Mr Rajesh Singh has not taken any interest because as per his record it has been rectified. Infact he is NOT CONCERNED. Every time we approach toll free No and we are given new RNA. The latest RNA Nos are[protected] and[protected]. Once I requested toll free No to provide us tele No of more senior and more responsible person I was given Mrs Manjari Yadav's No [protected].Unfortunately this No has also NEITHER RESPONDED NOR REPLIED to my SOS forwarded through SMS.

                Hi!

                I took a BIGFLIX DVD home delivery subscription on 23 Nov 2011
                for free unlimited home delivery of MOVIE DVD's, one month and
                15 days promotional ( total 45 days)

                The offer was available through bigflix official page.

                My Membership ID No: 15054883. Payment was deducted immediately.

                Later I came to know that this offer was online despite the fact that
                Bigflix has discontinued with delivery of DVDs w.e.f. 18th Nov’11. 1.

                I am not sure if this is a technical problem or a fraudalent way to
                still try and get new customers for a service that does not exist.

                I say a fraud as the offer was till 30 Nov, whereas bigflix decided
                to abruptly stop the DVD home rentals already on 18 Nov.

                After paying 250/= I have contacted Big Flix Customer care several
                times and follow ups. Where I was told that I will now be given a
                pack of DVDs for home viewing and subscription to BIGFlix+

                After more than 3 weeks gone by I have neither received any DVD pack
                nor any phone call from them BigFlix

                I have asked a refund of the amount on 4 December due to to the fact
                that Bigfliks is not able to provide me any services for more than 2
                weeks already after paying the subscription amount.

                I have 2 complaints:

                When the company has discontinued with delivery of DVDs w.e.f. 18th Nov’11
                why they are giving online offers for the DVD home delivery till 30 NOV

                When such a service that is the objective for taking subsrcription is not
                possible the service provider should refund the amount with penalty charges
                for not being able to supply the promised service.

                I request fellow consumers to come up with their comments, whoever else
                also got same problem with BigFlix. I hope someone in BigFlix watches
                and takes care of resolving this asap.

                  Me &my wife visited today 5-Dec-2011to nacharam hospital &we have taken number for Ultra Scanning to my wife &Mr Doctor informed u need to visit sanatn nagar Super Speaciality hospital for scanning hear we dont have so he Doctor written on scanning form As Reffered to SSH.& my wife asked to doctor more any forms are need .the doctor said no need i u visit &show this allpication they will do scanning.My wife is 5Minths pegnancy we visited to SSH there at morning at 10:30am.first of all registration boy refused to register my docment.&i have requested him just became like beagging.& he writted to Room no.31 we waited for more than 3 hourd & asked one of guy how much time it will take he said just sit there i sai ok ok fine.
                  After that i met with Miss Dr Swarna Latha she directly refuced to do scanning when i asked why she directly complainted to Superdent of nacharan stating that this man isasking me why u will not do sxanning first of all we r doing favour for the paciants coming for nacharam .i said madam its your work ok i will talk to u r superdent of SSH i told she misDR Swarna Latha.she said ok go &complaint to any one &When is went to Mr Superdent Mohan he is sitting in a slanting manner in his chair.when i inforned to him abou this issue he said we are nit doing pegnancy scanning hear i sai how sir nacharam doctor has wriyten to go SSH sanathnagar so i came he said you go & ask there itself i asked you will help us he also refused.&aksing us to getout from hospital.
                  I am One of employee who pay for esic every month from my salari is this type of service i accepct fron ecsi dictirs like Swarna Latha she is very rude&bad dehavour talking manner less words .
                  I have my wife with me she is 5months pegnancy &small kid of 3years carring my hand.can u ecpect how whould i feld shy badly beeing employee &also paying anount every month &this people r neglecting .
                  So i request to All so i request all the board of directors to plz take action on this issue or else i will go to consumer foram to case against Doctor Swarna latha &Superdent of SSH Mr Mohan.

                    Reliance Big Flix — Non delivery of service

                    My customer id is 41015967. I had applied for a renewed membership after expiry of the first year. However, Big Flix closed down the store without even prior information. After much struggle, I tried to call them when they promised to deliver the DVDs at home. This, they did only a couple of times. I would end up waiting for them to turn up, and they would never show up. Despite repeated complaints and innumerable calls, they did not bother to initiate an action or come up with a solution. However, now as expected, promptly they send me a renewal reminder which I think is definitely ridiculous! I want to sue the company for cheating me and want my money BACK!

                      I am Ekta Bhatia. I have purchased Samsung Washing machine fully automatic from Relaince digital in moments mall. But the machine delivered was defected. The cost was also high than the other dealers. It is really disappointing that such a big organization is doing such mistakes and also not even bothering to deal with it. We have been trying to call them since one week but are they too busy in fooling other costumers so they cannot send a new piece to our place. In fact we even went there and we were told that they change the piece in 72 hours I think they don't even Know how many days will make 72 hours.

                      Kindly take action on this.

                          I had bought 5 ACs worth 1.63 Lakhs from reliance digital Vashi on the 21st of October 2011. I had specifically asked for only those ACs that were in stock. I was assured that all the ACs that i was sold were in stock and could be delivered to me whenever i needed them.
                          Now 8 days later only 2 ACs have been delivered. The other three would take a further 3 days.
                          This is completely unacceptable. I had specifically bought only those ACs that were in stock. These ACs are meant for a commercial establishment. Every day's delay costs me in terms of rent and lost business. Instead of offering a workable solution, I am being offered discounts on a significantly more expensive AC which is beyond my budget. When I asked for a refund of my money I was only offered a credit note as per 'company policies'.
                          I am absolutely appalled by this shoddy customer service. And I will go to the consumer courts if this is not sorted immediately.

                            Delivery Delay and Bad Customer Service

                            I bought a refrigerator and LED from Reliance digital at Inorbit mall in Hyderabad. They promised the delivery within 24 hours, if there is some delay, definitely within 48 hours. I have been calling at their store number to check the delivery status and they keep on saying that we will call you back in 10 min but they never call back. Since morning I have already called them 5 times but still the same response that they will call me back...

                            I bought an LG side by side refrigerator from this godforsaken place RELIANCE DIGITAL in Inorbit mall and I have been regretting my decision ever since. They promised to deliver the product within 24 hours when we were in the process of buying, that became 24 to 48 hours when we bought the product and now its 4 days and we dont see any delivery happening. After repeated follow ups on the third day, they promised that they will deliver it that day even if it is 11:30. We wait till 11:30 that day and no one turns up. The 4th day I call them up at 12:30 pm and ask them the status. What i get in answer is today it will be delivered at 9:30 pm. I said its not acceptable as if it does not come at 9:30 in the evening I wouldnt be able to call you guys coz you'll close by then. Haritha, the person I was talking to, told me that she will get back with the status within 10 mins. Later she told me that last night the product was on its way and got damaged so they couldnt come. I really havent heard a more feebler excuse than this. It got better and better after that. Supposedly, they dont have any more LG side by side refrigerator of that model and that we would have to wait for another 25 to 30 days to get a delivery. Can you beat that? I have never felt so frustated in life as i feel right now. And to top it all, they offered a store credit against that. Now can someone please tell me why would i need a store credit for the same shop I am so miffed at. And I would like make a special mention of this lady Haritha. She has no manners and etiquette at all. All the while I was speaking to her I was constantly under an impression that she was doing me a huge favour by talking to me. RELIANCE DIGITAL truly sucks. And I would advice all the people who are planning on buying something from that dreaded place to avoid it all cost. These people have no ethics at all and they trick you into buying products that dont exist. Its like a nightmare and I just wish it was over soon.

                              RELIANCE BIG ADDA — WRONG/CHEAP PRODUCT DELIVERED

                              I have ordered a "i5 iFone 4G Wi-Fi Dual Sim GSM Mobile Phone" on reliance SHOP.BIGADDA.COM on 27.01.2011. After a week time on 07.02.2011 the product is delivered to me. After opening the box the product is looking different and a cheep chine made mobile phone which is not having 'Wi-Fi' functionality. And the supplied battery is also not working. I have expensed Rs. 6200 for the product but the product delivered to me a cost of Rs. 2000 only. Help me.

                              sir, i have ordered a AP3 TV mobile 1st nd cancelled that mobile during the conformation call and orderd a mobile of code SK1084 where its code no.is[protected] but i recievd a mobile of previously ordered its order no.is [protected] i had expensed about 3, 224rs... but the mobile which i had recieved is not working from second day of the received day...i had orderd at the date of June 14 2011 and recievd on July 1st 2011...from july 3rd it is not working...the whole toch had been damaged..i could not even unlock the phone.i called to your no.s which is [protected] from july 4th onwards i had talked to ur agents but no response from them...the persons who received my calls are ARCHANA, DAKSHAYANI, SALONI, LASYA, PUSHPA, VENA, DEPA AND MANY...but gave me unsatisfactory response for me...nd i was soo disappointed by taking your product and today is july 27th...from the date of complaint i have not recieved any call from you...in order that im not getting any satisfactory response from your agents also...i was vexed by doing many calls and lost more and more money...so, please make some reasonable response for me sir...if i could not recieve any reponse from u also i will be moving on with the consumer forms action ..ihad already told the same to PUSHPA, ARCHANA they said that to continue my proceedings...ill b waiting for the week days for your response sir...

                              RELIANCE BIG ADDA — Product not delivered

                              I have placed an order of blackberry mobile set on reliance big adda on Fri, 12 August, 2011 order no[protected]. Till date the product is not delivered to me. I have paid the money at the time of booking of the product through net banking. On 20th Aug 2011 one courier called me and told that the product is on COD basis and I have to pay at the time of delivery of the product.
                              When I complaint about this to bigadda it was told to me that the matter will be solved with in two days. After two days again when i called to Bigadda it was told to me that the matter will be solved in this week itself.
                              On 30th of august it was told to me that it will take 15 days’ time to delivered my product
                              When I call on 13th Sep 2011 it was told to me that my product will be delivered up to 17th Sep 2011.
                              When it was not delivered I again called to bigadda on 19th sep and now they are telling that it will take another 10 to 15 days to deliver my product. When I asked that I want to talk with someone having higher authority they didn’t provide me the phone no. or email ID. The representative talked to me haven’t any authorities to give any commitment neither I got any communication from their side.
                              I have written no. of mail to bigadda but none of them replied nor they give nay firm commitment to me for the delivery of that product.
                              Kindly suggest how I can register a grievance against reliance bigadda.

                                We have purchased a Whirlpool Microwave from Reliance Digital, Banjara Hills, Road No. 12, Hyderabad in Oct 2010. Within just 9 months of purchase it stopped working. We called the customer care for Whirlpool and a technician came to check it and he replaced just the fuse. It worked probably for one more month and again stopped working. This time Whirlpool customer care said that all products purchased at Reliance Digital will have their own servicing and so I had to call up Reliance digital customer care and lodge a complaint. After 2 or 3 days a technician came, checked it, said the fuse was out and replace it again. This time, it took just 2 days before the fuse went out and the microwave stopped working once again. The same plug point was used for many other electric appliances like rice cooker, refrigerator, mixer grinder etc. but never did any of these had a problem. But this microwave fuse goes out thrice in just 1.5 months, God only knows why. When lodging a complaint to customer care @ Reliance Digital, we mentioned the same. They promised a senior technician to check for any internal problem. As usual, he came, checked it, said everything was fine and again replaced just the fuse. In case there is a problem once again he said he will have to replace some internal parts. When we again made a complaint to Reliance saying that there is some other problem with it other than the fuse, they forwared it to the tech department. The worst part is for 3 weeks, a person calls up every week asking if the problem is rectified. when I tell him the actual problem, they simply say they will forward it but then nothing happens. I wonder how long it will be forwarded before they can really resolve the issue. We believe it is definitely a product defect and would want a replacement as soon as possible.

                                  I purchased a hitachi ac on 15 april 2010 from relaince digital worth INR 27490.And was offred a extented warranty and servicing for next 5 years for rs 2200INR. I paid for the extended service also. but wen the time came for the servicing the reliance people never showed up . i filed my complaint several times with the customer care but there was no positive response from there side. i even excalated the issue to ther feild service manager mr vikesh chauhdary whose num is [protected]. but of no use. my complaint number is 1294297 which was registered 15 days back but still i am waithing from the response. i am having all the bills with me since i am not getting any response from there side i am forced to file a complaint here if still they dont respond then my further step would be taking legal actions against the company..

                                  Those who are reading this complaint its my advice not to purcahse anythng from the relaince digital because at the time of purchase they will make so many promises but when the time comes to fullfill them they are lacking far behind as compared to the other brands in the market

                                      I happened to purchase a Laptop & a Belkin router from Reliance Digital JP Nagar, Bangalore & wanted to exchange the router for a higher model. When I returned to the store the very next day, along with
                                      the bill & the product, I requested for this change & was informed that there would be a 10% they would deduct from the billed amount towards ’return charges’ !. I countered them that this was no where mentioned in the bill or when I was purchasing the product and am not willing to pay this 10%. After a lot of talk with the store guys, I was faced with Mr. Rankesh Raman, the store manager I guess, who was

                                      1. Not very interested in talking / dealing with customers, as he didnt bother even coming down...After waiting for about 20 minutes, I walked up to him on the 1st floor.
                                      2. Talked in an extremely condescending tone.
                                      3. Informed that the policy of 10% was applicable just a week back and "everything cannot be printed on the bill". - I asked him for a copy of the policy, which he was unable to provide.
                                      4. He then moved on to state that the product should be in a ’saleable condition’ and the 10% is collected towards that.
                                      5.He also mentioned that the router cannot be exchanged as it was an IT product. I countered him that the policy listed behind the bill explicitly state that ’Mobile phones & computers cannot be exchanged" and does not cover accesorries. - For this, he claims that it is understood that even accessories would be covered under this policy !!!! - Is this true? Can this ever be true??

                                      After a lot of exchange of words, I guess he realised that I am not willing to pay for the 10% and started scanning the product. He pointed that there was a ink spot near the reset button at the back and challenged me that if I can remove this without a scratch, he will take back the product at the bill value.

                                      I took the product back home, used an alcohol swipe and cleared it without a scratch and returned to the store, in the hope that this is finally over....but I was grossly mistaken. Mr. Rankesh Raman had another trick to cheat me out of my money up his sleeve. Now he wanted the flimsy plastic cover along with the product as he claimed that without the plastic cover (which reliance wrap themselves am sure - this is like a cling wrap !!) the product is not in "’saleable condition".

                                      I lost my patience and expressed that this was out right cheating of customers in a raised voice and he started yelling back saying, "I dont care what you feel. You can say whatever you want. This is our policy and you can do whatever you want."

                                      Even their own staff there were irritated by his behaviour and empathised with me. One of them even mentioned in kannada to take the product & thow it on his face for his arrogance !!

                                      Seeing no point in talking to such a useless manager who doesnt have the basic sense & maturity in dealing with a customer, I asked for the store owners number. They gave me the number to one Mr. Joyce Sunil.

                                      I called him and expressed my dissatisfaction & also the unfriendly way in which I was treated. I explained the situation & also his team’s promise of taking the product back at bill value, which was not honored. Mr. Sunil was graceful enough to listen to my problem and said that he would have to get to work, check the case & will get back to me.

                                      As I explained my case, he had another surprise for me!! According to Mr. Sunil, the charge is not 10% but 20% as a policy...I was shocked to hear this and told him that his team says its 10% charge that was introduced last week and now he says its 20%. I asked him to explain to which he replied that the policy was changed the previous night !!!!!! - Ridiculous !!

                                      I told him to check the details of my case and call me back if he can do something about it...Its been 3 days now and he has not bothered to either call me back and explain their ever changing policy or offer a resolution.

                                      It leads me to believe that as a store, they are adamant not to help a customer and find ways to somehow keep the customer trapped with a product that they have sold, by throwing some "policy" related jargon which is never informed to the customer, either verbally or by print...

                                      Is this a way of making a quick buck by Reliance? 20% of a 3300/- product is over Rs. 600/-....is that how you increase your revenue margin on the products you sell??

                                      Am writing this complaint to serve as a caution for other potential buyers...coz am sure, no one would want to loose money when you are exchanging the product for a better one from the same store within just 24hours !! - I am not sure if my problem will be resolved !!

                                      I walk to the Reliance Digital store to purchase Bluetooth speakers, As i entered i was shocked to see no one was interested in helping me out with the list of product available . I myself started searching for Bluetooth speakers around the store thinking people at reliance digital might be busy assisting other costumers . I found Reconnect Jive, connected myself device to phone and checked if it is value for money and as per my needs .
                                      I was unable to play in full volume since other costumers were at store .
                                      I bought it to home without any second thought since product belongs to Reliance . I asked from the bill maker about the warranty and guarantee of the product . He said product could be replaced or refund within 7 days i[censored]nsatisfactory .

                                      I was happy to take it home, I connected with my loptop and mobile to check the output and quality .
                                      I called reliance digital after 5 days since i was not happy either satisfied with the product . Product was not giving that quality i expected . These guys did not pick up my phone . I called them 5 times . It was raining so I couldn't walk to the store . Next day i went to store as i was not satisfied with product . They arnt ready to listen my complaint instead the way of reply was not well unfriendly and non-cooperative .

                                      I posted the issue on twitter about the mishap that had happened, I got a call after 3 days of my post regarding the issue .I got a call from Reliance Digital store with respected to purchased good . They said it could not be returned since box is open, I explained him that how can a customer guess looking into the box if the product is satisfactory or not . Reliance commits Return within 7 days if the product is unsatisfactory . I am unsatisfied with the product and wish to have refund as per policy . I have read the policy . They say if you are undatisfied product could be returned in 7 days . And i have opened the box to check sound quality . I am no more using the product .

                                      Behavior of the reliance digital store employee is so casual .
                                      caller was modifying statements since he himself is not aware of the policys and then he said he will discuss with someone and return back after some time .
                                      I have already experienced people from the store.
