NAME IS RELIANCE BUT LEAST RELIABLE BRAND IN THE COUNTRY---terrible horrible customer care services at Reliance Digital in Bangalore Saharkara nagar. The staff is ill informed about the company policy and don't know any procedures. Very unprofessional and not helpful at all. I recently purchased a HTC Desire U phone from them and it went dead within a week. After taking it to them and obviously asking for sore credit no one is coming forth with the procedure. The staff is telling me to call HTC and HTC is telling me to call Reliance digital. Even though they took my phone to the service center they themselves do not know exactly what is wrong with the device! After threatening to complain about they service they said "go ahead and complain". How can Reliance employ such people--- they are degrading the name of the company. My advice never buy anything from Reliance Digital, if they don't sell you faulty goods then they will never provide quality customer services.

    Hi, I have bought a Samsung fridge from Reliance digital (Diamond Plaza, Jessore Road) on 8th September 2013. I also got a 2000 Rs. off offer on that product. The store confirmed the delivered date to be 14th September but till now the store has not delivered it. As per them they do not have any confirmation on the product from their factory. I have booked the fridge for my new house and not able to shift their because of this delay. I got a call today, 20th September from the store saying that they will provide us another fridge as an alternative. After going to the store I came to know that they will not provide me that 2000 Rs. off offer and I also have to pay the extra amount if any. If I cancel the order, according to them it will take 15 days. So finally they said the delivery is not possible before 24th September and that is also not confirmed. Please help me with this. I am facing a lot of problem because of this. Thanks, Sanghita Nag

    After waiting for 10 days, today (23rd September, 2013) I went to the Reliance digital store to get an alternative fridge because according to them, the ordered fridge cannot be delivered before 3rd October, 2013. So I told the respective person in the store to show me some alternative fridge keeping in mind that I won't be paying anything extra. The previous fridge that I ordered was worth Rs. 22, 000. There was Rs.2000 off and 1 extra container box was also available with that. They showed me only one model( worth Rs.22, 000) having a single color available and I didn't like it at all. I told them that I'm ready to take the model but I want a different color, which again they could not provide. All other models were higher than this range and they said only a discount of Rs.2000 can be given and the rest of the excess amount we have to bear. I had a lot of discussion with them and tried to make them understand that I am the one who is suffering for their improper service and now I'm being asked to compromise with the fridge they are providing as alternative. But all was in vain, they said there's nothing more they can do, so naturally I had to cancel my order. And the funny thing is, for getting the down payment back, I have to visit their store again after 7-8 days.
    So, the kind of service I got from Reliance digital is wastage of time, money (every time I went there I had to spend around 100 bucks and today was the third time), a lot of harassment and ultimately no product. With this experience of mine, I will never go for Reliance digital again and also advice my known ones not to do the same mistake.
    I also want to remind that I did not get any calls from your concerned representative. So I can understand the kind of service you provide.
    On 29th Sep I received a call regarding issue. The person asked me whether the fridge is delivered. I told her the story written above.
    Till now no action taken.
    I canceled my order on 23rd Sep. The store told me that I'll get back my money within 7-8 days and also told me that they will call me.
    Today is the 11th day and as expected from Reliance Digital's 3rd grade service I did not receive any call till now. I am sure that I have to call them again to get my money back.
    As I thought I had to call the store on 5th October. They called me back in the evening and told me that my refund would still take 2-3 days to complete. So it is very clear that this store can’t keep up any promise they make. Today is the 14th day and still I am waiting to get my money back.

    I more important point is that the floor manager of Reliance Digital told me that she send one email to Bajaj Finance in order to cancel my loan amount as I canceled the order. I don’t think that she did any kind of follow up in this as she could not tell me anything properly about it.
    So I logged into Bajaj Finance’s account and checked that my account was still active. I had to send them a mail on my own to inform about this issue.

As I called up to check the status, I got to know that it went to the service station and again came back to the Reliance store in non-working condition. It has been delaying since long time.         Reliance provided me an extended warranty for the oven i purchased two years back. Two months back there was some problem in the oven and i reported to the reliance resq service centre. After 15 days of giving the complaint the person had come from resq to collect the oven. Further more the customer service is very poor it has been a month and a half since they have collected the oven from us and whenever we call them they are always ready with some reason and say it will be done in a day or two but this problem is becoming a never ending headache. We are having a very hard time without the oven. hereby i am attaching the job sheet which shows the oven was taken by the resq agent on 3rd of August 2013.

        I am frustrated by the way the Reliance Digital has done with me, I purchased a LED TV from RD Kalyan Showroom Mumbai on 20th OCT.
        I was promised that they would pick up my OLD LCD TV(even if it is not working) refund me 5K to 8K.
        I had been following up from 20th Oct but people in reliance digital are just fooling me and giving me fake promises of picking up my old TV.
        And above all this, people are switching off the phone when I call them and sometimes don't pick the phone.

          I purchased a Samsung handset on 18th August of worth 13149. The reliance digital retailer offered me a deal of paying 99 extra and get a Memory card(Sandisk 8 GB) of worth 449. I agreed and hence totally paid 13247. After billing, I was informed that they currently do not have Memory card at stock and I would get a call in 2-3 days to collect the memory card. I didnt get any call for 8 days. I called on 8th day to know if I can come and collect the memory card. But the retailer again said they do not have stock and would get in 2-3 days. After 15 days I was frustrated and fed up of all this. I visited the shop in person to get my card. After making me wait for 20 mins, the representative said they do not have stock. I even offered them to return my extra paid money. But the representative said again I would get in 2-3 days. I was furious and demanded a Home delivery since shop was very far from my home. The representative agreed and took my home address and promised me to deliver in 2-3 days. After that, till today I have not even received a call and my memory card. I again do not want to call them and listen the same story. I believe I was betrayed by Reliance digital and need a help from Consumer court to get my due Memory card with some extra tax for all the torture I sustained.

              Bought Hitach window AC in April 2013. Stop functioning on 4th sept. filed complaint on 4th sept afternoon complaint no [protected] taken by Mr Gaurav. He assured that within 24 hrs it will be attended but even after repeated reminder nobody turned up till 9.30 pm next day ( 5th Sept). Most irritating thing is it is very difficult to get through your no 44722222 either it is engaged or nobody picks up phone. Can some one call us & inform if it can be repaired by tomorrow morning?                 Reliance Trends — Jeans torn after first use.

                I had purchased SINJEANS=1899Rs from Reliance trends Mangalore and the jeans have been torn off near buttocks and zipper. While purchasing it was said to be stretchable and they has sold me such a cheap product..

                  Sir,
                  I paid Rs.5000/- against Reliance Digital TV Smart Card numbers[protected] and[protected] on 13/04/2013 for getting High Definition(HD) TV set top box as per instruction given by Reliance Digital TV call centre people.
                  Reliance Digital TV did not install set top box for High Definition TV after getting my deposit made through ICICI Bank online transfer so far. When I checked them over phone number of time, the response was that they are in the process of developing the HD TV set top box. I asked them to refund the money collected for HD Set top box due to their technical problem through phone as well as email. Their response is different in each of their email like proof of payment with details of online transfer, not eligible to get refund as I paid though dealer which is absolutely wrong Etc.
                  Now they are telling that the amount of Rs.5000/- is credited in my Reliance Digital TV account on 13/04/2013 and is used for the current subscription and current account balance as on 11/08/2013 is Rs.3012/-.Further they say that if you want the amount to be refunded, you need to recharge your account with Rs.2000/- so that they will process for refund of Rs.5000/- as the reversal of the partial payment is unavailable.

                    I have purchased HP Pavilion g6 - 2231TX laptop on 02 May 13 from Reliance Digital at CMR Central, Visakhapatnam by cash. Laptop product serial no. is 5CD30810TQ. My laptop is under warranty period.

                    The following defect has been occurred within one month from date of purchase:------

                    Middle bracket close button of key board getting stuck and also Bluetooth is not working. It is really ridiculous that just within one month the defects are being raised. Please repair it as soon as possible.

                      I purchased a Hitachi Window AC on 10the March 2012. On 15the May 2013, thee AC stopped working. Lodging a complaint at reliance digital, CMR CENTRAL, NH5 VIZAG, from where thee AC was purchased took two days because every time thee phone number got connected(which is very hard), thee service personnel would pass on anotheer number to which he/she would ask me to make a call for registering thee complaint. After 6 days (of calling and reminding of course) two Reliance RESQ members ( Nagaraju and K Vani) were sent to my residence and theey promptly took out thee PCB board and thee remote control and said theat thee same evening theeir manager would call to inform about thee problem and how long it would take. I asked thee personnel to provide a contact number which he didn't and assured theat his manager would call on thee SAME EVENING. There was no call ever till thee 1st of June and all thee calls I made were continuously redirected to at least 10 otheer people (my call records may be checked). Finally on 1st June, i.e. today, I literally had to thereaten thee last person (my calls were forwarded today also) who spoke to me, Mr Niranjan from reliance service theat I would complain to thee consumer court. He told theat he would call back withein 5 minutes withe thee details of thee repair and it has been over an hour already.

                      This is not thee first time I have faced an issue withe reliance service. I settled in Vizag post marriage only, owing to which almost all my electronic and furnishing items were purchased from RELIANCE DIGITAL. I have to frankly say, theat thee service is PATHETIC, if not NIL.

                      I request that the matter may seriously be looked into, considering the heat prevailing and basic ethics an organization should follow for the sake of its own survival.

                        Near to my village Some cable operators are using BIG tv dth for telecost some pay channels, one the VC number is - 000077AFC0EE. I am also a cable operator, i have buy pay channels properly and telecost in cable. But they are using BIG tv service illegally through cable . My times i sent this compliant to BIG tv customer care service. But there is no any response from them. I think they give full support to Piracy. Surely it's affect other legal operators.

                          I have purchased a laptop on 30/11/2011(bill attached). This product started giving trouble right from the date of purchase. Some noise is coming from it like a train is running inside it. At the time of purchase, I was told that in case of problem, I can contact any showroom of Reliancdigital. Based on the assurance I purchased this product. But very soon, it started giving problem and when I approached Reliancedigital showroom najafgarh road showromm delhi (Receipt attached) , I was told that I have to take it to south delhi service centre and in case of commencement of extended warranty period, it can be taken care of a showroom level. I approached the service centre, the person told me that its hard disk become non operative and he replaced it. But they also remove the original window and told me that as the no. printed on the laptop is beyond recognition, original window can not be loaded.
                          It has happened within two year of its purchase, but even after this laptop noise is getting louder and to my horror, when I got wifi at my place, this laptop did’nt work and when I approached (as now I was in extended warranty time period) on 01.04.2013., I was told that it will be repaired within a maximum time of 15 days. After ten days I got a call and the person told me that its motherboard is not working and they required at least one week more. When I contacted them after one week, I was told that they are repairing it and they won’t be able to give time frame for its repair.
                          NOW YOU TELL ME WHAT KIND OF PRODUCTS YOU ARE SELLING. IN THE FIRST TWO YEARS OF PURCHASE THE MOTHERBOARD, ORIGINAL WINDOW, HARD DISK GET OUT OF ORDER. THIS IS THE QUALITY YOU MAINTAIN. MY WORK IS SUFFERING DUE TO THIS AND I AM TALKING TO ME ATTORNEYS REGARDING FILING A CASE AGAINST THE CLOSURE OF YOUR COMPANY AS I WAS SOLD A DEFECTIVE PIECE OF PRODUCT BY YOU. NOW A DAYS IN 15 DAYS FIVE AIRCRAFTS ARE PRODUCED AND YOUR ENGINEERS ARE NOT ABLE TO REPAIR A LAPTOP.
                          I WILL PUT THIS IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE BY PERSONAL MEETING, EMAIL, FACEBOOK BOTH AT NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL LEVEL. I WILL FILE THE CASE IN CONSUMER FORUM FOR THE CLOSURE OF THE COMPANY.

                            But still now today 13/5/2013 the refrigerator is not delivered to me from reliance.On 12/5/2013 reliacne just sent a defictive product to my house and immediately took the same back.Also my old working refrigerator is dismalteded as reliance brought it from me for rs.1000.Now having lots of problem.AS NOW NO NEW REFRIGERATOR AND MY OLD REFRIGERATOR IS NOT PROPER DUE TO THE ACTIVITY OF PICKUP PERSONS.HENCE please provide me the new refrigerator by 14/5/2013.

                              1. They claim that if you find a product cheaper than theirs, they will pay you double the difference.
                              2. They offer you a ResQ Pack (Extended Warranty) on the appliances you buy.

                              At first I thought "WOW What a deal" but when I placed an order for my Air-conditioner, this is what I discovered.

                              1. The price they offered was INR 29990 for an LG 1.5 Ton 5Star AC Model Number LWA5CG5F which you can easily find at a lower price at a dealer near you.
                              2. They promised that the equipment will be delivered on the next day (May 06, 2013) and will be installed on the next day (May 07, 2013). Based on their commitment, I shelled out my hard earned money INR 29990 (A sum that only a few Indians manage to earn in a month) expecting that the appliance would ease the life of my little daughter who otherwise needs to battle with the unruly weather of Delhi NCR. However I was stunned when the Appliance was delivered at 10:00 PM (A time when we avoid going to a friends place unless it is an extreme emergency) and the excuse given was that the truck had broken down. I had ordered a mandatory Power Stabilizer with the appliance. When the delivery guy was asked to give that he said, "he forgot to carry that". Disgusting
                              All this time both me and my wife were frantically trying to call Reliance Digital Store from where we had ordered our appliance (or rather I would say who had duped us of our expectations) and we were getting a constant busy tone on the phone. Ridiculous
                              Finally I managed to get hold of Sanjeev Sharma this afternoon on phone and he reassured that the stabilizer will be delivered today and the appliance will also be duly installed today EOD. it's 09:26 PM IST and I don't have a hint of the Stabilizer yet, leave aside installation. To top it all, look at the attitude of Mr Arjun Kumar who answered my call just a few minutes back, saying that the stabilizer is on it's way and will be delivered any moment. Any moment after 09:30 PM! and the installation will be done tomorrow, maybe after 09:30 PM.

                              I really am sick and tired of this BS given to me by Reliance Digital and would request everyone to avoid buying from Reliance Digital.

                                I bought a lg led tv 32 inch in reliance digital,mogappaire branch chennai.
                                The salesman said that its Internet tv and confirmed me about it.
                                I got the tv only after 2 days with several follow up calls.
                                Once the tv was delivered the Internet didn't function.

                                Till today RELIANCE hasn't done anything.
                                Lg team says that the remote is not the one of the supplied tv.

                                I went back to the showroom and asked the salesman but he was only avoiding me.
                                Even i am ready to pay if required for higher models.
                                I need internet to function.

                                Very poor response from reliance.

                                  I had bought a HTC Desire X from Reliance Digital Near Brigade Road, Bangalore. Very soon I discovered a problem with the phone, the problem was that it was not getting switched on. I gave it for service at Reliance Digital and service was done for free of cost and it was the motherboard which had been spoilt. Now its been just 2 months after that service that I am facing another problem with the phone that the touch screen of the phone is not responding. I am really fed up of this phone. I would like either HTC or Reliance Digital people to contact me at the earliest and find a solution for this. And most importantly since the phone's touch screen is not working, it is very difficult to receive phone call too, but I would like them to call and replace this phone and help me with my misery.

                                    We have got two connections from Reliance Digital T.V. Vide A/c No.[protected] and[protected]. At the time of Installation the Company advised that there will be monthly Re-charge. We accordingly recharge for Rs. 500/- per month. But the Company starts sending Msg. form 18 to 19 days on wards to recharge within 3 days. thus the Company allowing us to view T.V. only for 20 days instead of 30 days as promised by the Company at the time of giving Connection. This is breach of trust and also cheating the customers by giving wrong promise. I request you to look into the matter and help us from cheating by the Company.

                                      I have bought a 1.5 ton Panasonic split AC on Saturday, March 30, 2012 from the shop at Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. It was duly delivered to my house on the same day. Then the fun began.

                                      I was promised that the installation will be done on Sunday (the next day). However, after many phone calls to the shop, a very bad quality installation is finally done on Wednesday evening.

                                      The installer did not carry with him any extra copper tubes or water pipes. Despite my suggestion to place the external unit in a suitable place, facing the open, the installer put it right inside my balcony. This has resulted in following woes:

                                      (1) When the AC is running the balcony and the adjacent dining room is getting heated up greatly and becoming unusable.
                                      (2) The water is soaking the whole floor of the balcony.
                                      (3) The blades of the ceiling fan in the balcony has just 1 inch separation from the unit (the unit fan grill), thus we cannot run the fan for fear of the fan swaying even slightly with a sudden gust of wind and hitting the unit.
                                      (4) Also, it may be my my perception, the cooling is not fast enough, there may be less gas in the compressor.

                                      Even before the installation I indicated to the installer some of these possible problems, butt he did not heed to them. After installation, when the problems have become clear, I asked the installer to come next day with extra tubes and shift the unit to the safe position I initially directed to. He agreed, but never appeared on next day (did not even care for my sign in the installation documents). Upon contacting him in the afternoon, he said that it is no more his problem, I need to contact the shop/service in for getting a re-installation done. I have talked with the shop and on they have told me that they shall be contacting the service department and arranging to do the needful by today. Let us see what happens.

                                      Now, I have been a customer of Reliance Digital for quite some time and this is (almost, earlier episodes had some marginally plausible logic) the first time I have such a bad experience. Here are the highlights:

                                      (1) While purchasing on Saturday morning, I have "specifically" asked whether the installation will be done on Sunday, otherwise I have to come home from office. I was PROMISED that the installation will be done on Sunday, which ultimately happened on Wednesday. By the way, on the same day I bought another AC from a different store - which have been delivered as well as installed on Sunday.
                                      (2) The number of the shop given in the invoice is either unreachable or busy most of the times. A few times I was able to reach it, I was promised quick resolution and callback in 10 minutes. However, the callbacks never happened. When the next time I am able to contact, usually couple of hours, it is either a different person, who does the same (promise resolution & callback) or give some lame excuses (my boss is in a meeting!).
                                      (3) The installer coming inadequately prepared. Even while purchasing I have inquired about extra tubes and sundries, if needed. I was assured that the installer will be carrying them, only I have to pay for them i[censored]sed, which I naturally agreed.
                                      (4) The installer neglecting, even after suggesting, the customer's long-term convenience. The attitude was that he has come to install and he will do so with whatever he has available - damn what will happen later.

                                      Clearly, I have not expected this. My faith in your concern is badly shaken (I have even bough the long-term maintenance contract! - no idea what wonders will come out of that.).

                                      Now I am awaiting the merciful deliverance from this quandary, keeping my finger crossed.

                                      This is regarding to complaining to you that I purchased ten AC from reliance digital (Ambience Mall Gurgaon) around 25 days back, but the installation of two AC is pending till now & one of them is not working.

                                      I am following on daily basis but not getting any positive result. Now it is peak of the summer, after summer it is useless to me.

                                      Hopes will get positive response very soon.

                                      I bought Samsung split AC from RELIANCE DIGITAL STORE. Along with the AC cost, I paid Rs1500 for the installation to them. They did not provide anyone for installation till date. Even that I lodged several complaints, they did nothing. I am quiet frustrated and find helpless for this situation.

                                      No one should buy products from this bull store. They are big cheats.
