I have bought a 1.5 ton Panasonic split AC on Saturday, March 30, 2012 from the shop at Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. It was duly delivered to my house on the same day. Then the fun began.
I was promised that the installation will be done on Sunday (the next day). However, after many phone calls to the shop, a very bad quality installation is finally done on Wednesday evening.
The installer did not carry with him any extra copper tubes or water pipes. Despite my suggestion to place the external unit in a suitable place, facing the open, the installer put it right inside my balcony. This has resulted in following woes:
(1) When the AC is running the balcony and the adjacent dining room is getting heated up greatly and becoming unusable.
(2) The water is soaking the whole floor of the balcony.
(3) The blades of the ceiling fan in the balcony has just 1 inch separation from the unit (the unit fan grill), thus we cannot run the fan for fear of the fan swaying even slightly with a sudden gust of wind and hitting the unit.
(4) Also, it may be my my perception, the cooling is not fast enough, there may be less gas in the compressor.
Even before the installation I indicated to the installer some of these possible problems, butt he did not heed to them. After installation, when the problems have become clear, I asked the installer to come next day with extra tubes and shift the unit to the safe position I initially directed to. He agreed, but never appeared on next day (did not even care for my sign in the installation documents). Upon contacting him in the afternoon, he said that it is no more his problem, I need to contact the shop/service in for getting a re-installation done. I have talked with the shop and on they have told me that they shall be contacting the service department and arranging to do the needful by today. Let us see what happens.
Now, I have been a customer of Reliance Digital for quite some time and this is (almost, earlier episodes had some marginally plausible logic) the first time I have such a bad experience. Here are the highlights:
(1) While purchasing on Saturday morning, I have "specifically" asked whether the installation will be done on Sunday, otherwise I have to come home from office. I was PROMISED that the installation will be done on Sunday, which ultimately happened on Wednesday. By the way, on the same day I bought another AC from a different store - which have been delivered as well as installed on Sunday.
(2) The number of the shop given in the invoice is either unreachable or busy most of the times. A few times I was able to reach it, I was promised quick resolution and callback in 10 minutes. However, the callbacks never happened. When the next time I am able to contact, usually couple of hours, it is either a different person, who does the same (promise resolution & callback) or give some lame excuses (my boss is in a meeting!).
(3) The installer coming inadequately prepared. Even while purchasing I have inquired about extra tubes and sundries, if needed. I was assured that the installer will be carrying them, only I have to pay for them i[censored]sed, which I naturally agreed.
(4) The installer neglecting, even after suggesting, the customer's long-term convenience. The attitude was that he has come to install and he will do so with whatever he has available - damn what will happen later.
Clearly, I have not expected this. My faith in your concern is badly shaken (I have even bough the long-term maintenance contract! - no idea what wonders will come out of that.).
Now I am awaiting the merciful deliverance from this quandary, keeping my finger crossed.

This is regarding to complaining to you that I purchased ten AC from reliance digital (Ambience Mall Gurgaon) around 25 days back, but the installation of two AC is pending till now & one of them is not working.
I am following on daily basis but not getting any positive result. Now it is peak of the summer, after summer it is useless to me.
Hopes will get positive response very soon.
