Sir,
APPCO MARKITING(INDIA) PVT LIMITED” at Hyderabad came to me on
12th February and explained about BIG TV and collected a cheque of Rs.2980/- on agency name and withdrawn the amount on 17th. But no response from their side till today. No reply from phone calls.
Bank and cheque details are given bellow
HDFC bank, Uppal kallan branch, Hyderabad.
Cheque no : 131832.
Please my mater and send set of box as early as possible.

    hi,

    I am a Big tv Dish tv consumer with my cell no. given as [protected].

    I was out of station for 14 days and came back on 11.2.11, recharged Big tv for rs.50/- but few channels was disconnected and was told by customer desk that need to recharge for full amount as it was suspended.

    And again through net banking I recharged for rest of Rs.160/- where I got the reference no. for payment done to Reliance from My bank but not from Reliance which ended up in a call to customer desk again. They said its helpless until a receipt no. is not provided from big tv which has not come as SMS to by mobile.

    Pls suggest me what I should do in this regard. My bank has deducted the amount from account for Rs.160/- but Big tv has not resumed by services nor giving the confirmation of receipt of payment.

    Pl do the needful.

      I have paid Rs.1490/= to Appco Group India for Big TV DTH service connection on 25.01.2011. Representative Mr.Selvam, his mobile no:[protected], assured me to install the big tv DTH service connection with in two days. But so far nobody response and install the connection. I came to know so many people paid the amount for big TV DTH connection and waiting for long time. I dont know the Appco Marketing (I) Pvyt ltd company is genuine or not. Kindly help me .

      Iam from Hyderabad.I purchased DTH 1 Month Back .My Package is Smart south pack Rs2190. We are Tamilians staying at Hyderabad.But The BIG TV Has given Telugu Pack.I requested them to change the regional pack from telugu to Tamil, I was Informed by customer care executive Mr Siva that the problem will be rectified With In 24 Hours and my service complaint No is 77014635 but it was not attended . I have given them sufficient time and again i called them after 48 Hours This time Mr Karthik has assured that the problem will be rectified within 3 Hours But No body attended the problem. Now it is almost 168 Hours gone but till to date my problem was not attended

      Big TV DTH — Improper Installation

      I am from Visakhapatnam Complaining against Big Tv DTH Services from Reliance Group that I have taken Rs.1990/- Package (Smart South 1990 Offer)
      on October, 1998. At that time One year free recharge voucher was not supplied by my dealer Mr.Satyanarayana, Sree Sai Creations, Adarshanagar bus stop, old dairy farm, visakhapatnam - 40. Cell No.[protected].

      One month I got the services from Big Tv. But from November onwards the services were stopped due to not recharging of my account. Recharge Voucher for Rs.500/- is to be supplied by the company(incl. in offer Value). Then I called Big Tv Customer care and lodged complaint vide complaint no.83069152 and remind complaint No.83692308 on 22.12.08. Till date my problem was not solved. Whom do I Contact. How to get back my amount Rs.1990/-. One thing I can say that the services from your dealers are very poor.

      Please help me and do the needful.

          - BIG TV was installed in my house on 10/10/2008
          - During the last week of September 2010 when I talked to your
          customer care executive ( through[protected] regarding multiconnection
          the following details were provided.
          - (a) Multiconnection (2 tvs ) should be in the name of the
          same person.
          - (b) Existing TV will be called 'Mother TV' & second TV will
          be called 'Child TV'
          - (c) Same offer package should be taken for both TVs.
          - (d) Cable connection will be given for both TVs from a
          single dish through twin LNBF.
          - (e) The child TV will be charged 50% of the tariff rate for
          the package
          - (f) Additional STB will be provided for the child TV.
          - Accordingly I selected Diamond package along with 2 regional
          packages (Tamil & Kannada) for both the TVs.
          - I paid Rs 2000/- through Galaxy Electronics, Rajarajeshwari
          Nagar on 29/09/2010 for Diamond package with 3 months free viewing.
          - Mr. Prashanth of BIG TV came on 29/09/10 but installation
          could not be done as he did not bring the twin LNBF. He again came back on
          01/10/10 & connected the cable for the child TV from the existing dish &
          installation was done.
          - On 17/12/2010 , a message was flashed on the child TV screen
          that free viewing will end after 10 days.
          - On enquiring with your customer care[protected] I was
          told that 90 days free viewing( not 3 months) was counted from 29/09/10 &
          not from 01/10/2010 when the actual connection was done. Hence free viewing
          will end on 27/12/10.
          - I recharged Rs 500/- ( Rs300 + Rs200) to my Child TV account
          on 23/12/10 & my balance on 27/12/10 was Rs 516.16 p. Balance in Mother TV
          on 23/12/10 was Rs. 716.
          - From 28/12/2010, it is observed that 100% charges are being
          deducted daily from my Child TV account instead of 50%.
          - Complaint was lodged on 29/12/2010 to customer care followed
          by reminders on 31/12 & 03/01/11. Several e-mails were sent giving all the
          details, but the mistake was not rectified.
          - I went for multiconnection only because of the 50% offer on
          the Child TV . I contacted the BIG TV officials- Mr. Jagan on email. I recd. no reply from him. Later Mr. Ratish Radhakrishna contacted me and had sent a mail saying that this offer is available for long duration packs only and the Customer service executives could inform me on this because they were ignorant. But why should I be pernalised for thier ignorance. If this offer is not provided w.e.f. 28/12/10, then I am not
          interested to have the 2nd TV connection & transmission to the 2nd TV may
          be TERMINATED. Seeing no response, I requested for a termination of the service for the second TV on 21-1-11. As of now they have not terminated the service but are deducting full charges. The service is PATHETIC, CALLOUS AND DISGUSTING. The bungling made by them in the last 45 days are :
          1)Charging erroneously for the second service visit by the technician and then reversing the same after repeated complaints
          2)No service reports provided at all either during the installation or during the two subsequent visits by the technician. Request for the same was turned down saying that they do not have this practice.
          3)Request for Statement of account not provided citing the reason that they are not authorized to give. This is sought by me because of the inconsistency of the balance positions reflected in the IVRS and the displays in the TVs,

          I do not know whom to contact and escalate the issue. Kindly help.

            Hi, I recently purchased a Samsung Washing Machine WT9207AG( Semi-automatic) and Samsung Refrigerator Frost Freeze RT26HCLB1 (255 litres) on 1-1-2011 on Reliance Digital Retail limited, Meco House, Anna salai, Chennai Branch. While the sales person was explaining me about the product, he informed me about an offer that If I spend about Rs 15000 to 30000, I am entitled to get a free Motorola mobile from them. after billing me for Rs 25510.61. that person informed they do not have tha cell phone with them, by 4th of January they will have the cell phone at their store, but every time I call or visit the store, they say they have not received it. they ask me to come after a week, everytime I go. Its been more than 20 days since I purchased them. Moreover, the products which I purchased are not as good as what they showed me in the showroom. we are not happy with the service provided to us. I spoke to several representative in the stores named Divya, Mary. no one seem to care about it. POOR SERVICE AND FAKE PROMISES made to make sales on NEW YEAR. I am disappointed. the invoice number :[protected]. Please do the needful. They should let the consumer know beforehand about what they got and what they can do. All seem to lie just to make money on an auspicious day. I want to lodge a complaint regarding this. Please do the needful

              I am Swathi Tallam, i bought Samsung LED TV series 5 on 14th January 2011. During the sale proceeds the person told us that they have free delivery as well as installation service. They didnt gave us a clue about, when they will deliver the service. I called up them in the evening of the same day, at that time they told us ki, purchase occured after 4 Pm will be delivered on the next day & no clue about the time. On the next day we were waiting for the delivery boy, no call and no intimation to us when we called them. Actually the thing is we bought TV from Inorbit store, but the delivery of any product will happen from Uppall godown. this thing we came to know after repeated callings to the store as well as a service number.
              At 3 pm in the afternoon we got the delivery of TV. now again the hunting started for the installaion guy over telephone.
              At first i called the stores number, they told they are not concerned about the installation & i need to call Service number for such issues.
              I called the service number several times, they are very careless & reckless in answering calls also,
              2 days passed... no call from the service team, i got frustated and told to the service member that, i am fed with your service, i want to return the product. He immediately answered, u need to call the stores we are not concerned with that...
              I called the stores and reported the same, they dint believe that service people talked like that to the customer as if i am lying to them. Again that guy promised that it will be done by today evening, again no call.
              The next day i got a call in the morning fomr the installation guy at 11 Pm. He finally came to us at 3 PM, done the task in 10 min and started pitching the sale of stabilizer for our TV. He is creating a sort of fear in us, that TV will spoil you wont get warranty on that also.. He showed him the stabilier we had for our old TV. He told, it will not be enough & u will need a new one, which is with him and it costs 2500. My dad is an Electrical Engineer, we asked the technician to have a word with my dad. He told to my father that we need to keed 500KvA capacity stabilizer for the TV, the next question my dad asked him is.. Do you know where do you need such capacity stabilizers ??? no reply from him... Then my father told they will be used in sub stations. The guy who is doing sales dont even know the specifications for the product with him... All they need is money, money and no service. The product he was piching doesnt have any logo of Reliance printed on it, may be he is illegally piching the product for his own benifit.
              There is a lot of communication gap between the stores people and services people. stores people doesnt know what the service ppl say & vice versa.
              They dont even have the recorded lines also for the services team, that is what ever wrongly spoken by the services team will not be monitered & punished in future.
              They are very reckless are not caring at all reg their talk.
              I recommend to all that never buy any thing in Reliance digital stores. I wont buy any thing there again & recommond it to my friends and family.

                I had purchased nokia mobile from Reliance Digital showroom in koramangala on 14th Aug 2010. The dealer had given me a cashback offer of Rs550/- gift vouchers which could be redeemed upon sending the forms to there mumbai office(Reward Port).
                The cashback cheque was supposed to be sent in 30days to my residential address. I have also communicated by mail asking for the cashback cheque. But now it is more than 4 months I have not recieved the refund cheque.

                  Reliance Digital, JP NAGAR, 2nd Phase gave us a defective nokia- c3 handset (LIQUID DAMAGED AND TAMPERED) on 31st DEC,2010. When we went to sort it by asking for the money back or a proper handset, they completely denied. And told us to go to the Nokia-care center , Jayanagar 3rd block. They did the same and started blaming the retail store. They were behaving as they have paid from their pocket. Moreover, the Manager of the Reliance Digital and his staffs don't have manners to behave and talk to customers. What about our money and trust then? Is this alright with them to behave like this to their customers? who paid money to buy a product from their store with all trust? Is this a new marketing tactic to fool us or are they thinking money grow on a tree?They could have handed over a new handset because it is only 4 days that we bought this and we hadn't used this even for a day. Now, We want the Indian Consumers' right forum to take care of this. So that the other individuals shouldn't be distrusted and fooled by these fake black businessmen. Please, Help us!!

                    Reliance digital is fooling the customers by promising 10% cashback on some of the products. I purchased a mobile phone (on 3rd sep 2010) and was given 10% cash back voucher which I submitted to the given address within a week. I was supposed to get the cash back within a month but after repeated email reminders I have yet to get the cash back. The last email from them was on Nov 17th which suggested that I would get the cheque in 20 working days however it has been more than month but I have not received anything. They have stopped responding to my emails.

                    I have bought a refrigerator worth Rs. 26400/- under 10% cash back scheme from your company's showroom, Nagpur. At the time of purchase your representative said that after 1st November 2011 you can avail the benefit of discount of Rs.2640/- on next purchase of any item from the showroom. now on my next purchase they said that you have to purchase item of costing three times of the Rs.2640/- then you can avail the benefit. Neither it was written on cash back coupon nor on cash voucher and also it is written on cash voucher that the validity of voucher is Six Months, but your outlet persons said that no need to consider all the terms & conditions which is written on cash voucher.

                      Worst service 20 days no respance costemercare big tv
                      I have taken a BIG TV connection 15 days before, my card no is "[protected]" and very next day i am getting black screen with BIG TV Logo.

                      I have called up the customer care and they gave me a complaint number : "75262878" and assured me that my problem will be resolved in 4 hrs. I waited for 6 hrs and again i called up the customer care, now they said that it will be resolved in 48 hrs. I asked him to tell exactly why the screen is in black with the logo. He said to check the signal condition, i checked it was showing POOR quality. He said we will rectify your problem within few hours. Not the hours are going on days are going on till now no one noted my complaint and didn't rectify the problem. I contacted the person who installed, he said me to press 23467 button on the screen and press OK, nothing happened, his response is very worst. He said if i am free i will come and i am busy right now. See his performance.

                      I fed up calling up the customer care coz same reply (within few hrs) no action. Then why the hell you are providing the customer care. I disconnected the local cable connection, now we are not able to watch anything.

                      I want my connection to be connected and if not refund me my full ammount if they can not provide any after sale service to the customers.
                      HAHAHA This is a good Joke from Reliance BIG tv CC. i bought the setup box on 13th of sep and generate the work id on that day.The CC people told me it will be installed on 20th of sep though it takes 72 hours to install.But after 20 also they did not come to my house for installation.after complaing for the 2 times they also did not come.

                      Now the joke starts----

                      From today onwards these CC people are saying that your Date of INsatllaition is 28 th of sep so we cannot do anything.So what type of service is this.Befor 25 these people are saying that the final day of installation is 20 of sep now they are sayion that the installation is on 28.

                      I hope next time they will say it will the 28th of OCt..

                      and after one year these people will say it is on 28 th of OCT 2009.

                      This is the WORST service..Friends if you are planning to buy this BIg tv then simply change your plan...

                      anybody knows any ISP number in Chennai pls give to me. the customer care is crap and WORSE than any govt office. i wish i would have read all these before i bought BIG TV.
                      I bought big tv connection on 27th sep 08 and got installed after one week time. On 19th oct 08, there was no pictures viewed in TV, it is blank screen. I called BIG TV customer care no and registered complaint after following their instruction of trying to retreive the picture. But nothing was worked out. So they said they will send some technician to attend it within 24 hrs first.
                      The there was on one attended. Again i called them, they asked me 48 hrs.
                      But till now i am calling them, i got repeated answer that, they will be attending today...
                      I dont know what to do with this set top box without seeing any channel programs...

                      Please dont go for BIG TV...

                      I am a BIG TV subscriber. My I.D. No. is[protected] in the name of S.S. Mishra. My adress is Saraswati Vihar Colony, Room No.3 Type 3 (Officer Hostel), Civil Lines Faizabad. My connection is facing signal problem w.e.f. 30.09.09 and as such I am unable to see any channel. I have made complaint to this effect on 30.09.09 in the customer care and my complaint no. is[protected] dated 30.09.09. The official neither contacted me on my telephone no. [protected] nor any one turned up to attend the complaint . Furhter I have made complaint on 04.10.2009. Instead of disposing of the previous complaint customer care has given me a new complaint no. [protected]. This is to inform you that it is very negligent act of your customer care cell which shows the very poor service facility. It is requestd to you that my BIG TV connection complaint be served at the earliest . Othervise I would be bound to take further action. My e- mail I.D. is abhishekchief @ yahoo.com. Kindly update me in regard to my complaint either on my mobile no. or on my e- mail I..D.
                      Further this is toinform you that I have sent two e- mails regarding my complaint but no action has been taken so far by your official which is causing mental and finanacial loss which can not be compensated in any terms.

                        I had purchased a front loading Washing Machine of Whirlpool from the Reliance Digital from Tollygunge on 17.09.2010.After installation I informed the Reliance for Demo (as They had told me).They send a man for Demo.That man started the machine and told my mother & wife the remaining job and left.After a few days latter I started the machine for washing.The machine started normally but few minutes latter it shows the F1 in the display board.Immediately I switch of the machine.Next day again I operate the machine,this time same incident happened.I informed the Whirlpool Customer care and they send a service engineer on the same day.After inspection he told us that due to wrong demo,the motor & the display board of the machine has been damaged.So it should be changed.I informed the whole incident to the Reliance Digital.After hearing the promised me to replace the machine but it wold take 15 days for replace.But since then nearly one month has left,now they told me that it would not possible for them to replace the machine.Now my question is why the Whole machine should not replace because it is totally their fault.

                          I had bad experience with reliance digital. I bought nokia 5230 on 14th aug and sent cash back coupons worth 750/- Rs. to mumbai. My claim form number is : 2930231.

                          Till now I received message that your request is in processing and you will get cheque within 10 working days by 3 different persons from travelport when I send mail to check the status on : [protected]@travelport.in.

                          I doubt any one has received this kind of cash back. Looks like just publicity stunt to attract people by stating 10% discount on products.

                          Really disappointing.

                          Hope someone would look at it.
                          I am facing the same issue. I have not received cash back of 1200 Rs (purchase date : 3rd sep 2010) yet.
                          I think this is scam scheme, I also bought mobile phone from Reliance Digital on 14th Aug, and was given the cashback vouchers which I sent for claiming. But till date no status of the same. These guys are really selling wrong schemes and I am sure none would have got these claims

                            i am a subscriber of big tv. on 11th of nov i lodged a complaint regarding loss of signal on my set top box. i was told that some engineer was going to visit my place to rectify the error. on 13 th i found that my services were discontinued. on inquiring about the same i found that rs. 175 were deducted from my a/c as visiting charges , when no such visit was made by any service engineer from the company's side. ever since i contacted the customer care 8 -10 times but they would not listen. kindly take the necessary steps regarding this so that i would get a relief.

                              My Big TV set up box number is[protected] is not working from November 14th, I have complained about this and they have given me complaints number around 7 to 8 times that i have saved, from that day they have not solve my problem and daily i am calling to customer care and they are telling my problem will be sort within an hour, 12 hours or 24 hours and still nobody is caring about my problem. As i want to return the setup box they are telling they will not refund the amount Rs. 2000 which i have paid and i am agreed even that also, but i have charge monthly Rs. 370 is there in my account and they are telling me that even that money also will not be refund. This Big TV's customer is very worst and one of the customer service executive is talking like big rowdy. Please help me to solve this problem.

                                I have buy BIG TV service 8 month before and i am facing lots of issues regarding service , setup box quality and prompt response.

                                I am encounter first time one month before when i want to change my residence. I am informed by BIG tv shop seller that you have put one request to customer care for change of residence and reinstall whole system.

                                I have called customer care and put request, i have wait for three day ( customer care representative claim 48 hrs ) in this three days almost i have make around five to six calls.After that on third day technical person arrive and just dismental dish and put in my hend and said goodbye. He said if you want reinstall this dish on new location make again one request. I have again register one request and same way after five to six calls person arrived on forth day. This time he said in system your new location is not changed so he can't install dish on new residence. Again i have put third request and sam after two days person came and install the dish.

                                Now i am facing new problem , my set up box turn off automatically after some time. I had put my request on 27th of nov.. After three to four calls person arrived he just checked and said replacement required for setup box and he had no setup box in stock. On asking at when he replace he simply denied to commit any specific date or time. Again i have put request for change of setup box. Till one days gone and no one even reqply.

                                  marketing agent from APPCO, Mr. S. Sekhar Panda mobile no. [protected] came to us and explained us about an inroductory offer to give Reliance Big TV connection and a took a cheque for Rs. 4900 for high definition mode (recording facility) in favour APPCO. Since then, there is no information either from APPCO or Big TV. I have tried to contact on Big TV customer care number for atleast 6 times. Every time they say that they are putting a mail.They say that they will get back in 48 hours but it never happend. If the reliance Big T.V officials can not control appco marketing why they have allowed them to do marketing for them. They should immediately announce in the papers about appco otherwise the name of Big TV also will get damaged. I have given the cheque nearly 15 days back. I was not given the connection. I have not received any information except the confirmation call the next day. I request all the viewers to be aware of it and do not fall pray into their trap.

                                    Myself Arun Vijayan, I am a BigTV customer from April 2010, my Smart Card no.:[protected]reg. phone [protected]).
                                    After numers interaction with BigTV Call Center (BCC) & almost a month waiting, I write this with great regret & contempt for not just wasting time talking to BCC but for USING BigTV.

                                    I will endorse my experience with this mega Fraud Company.

                                    * Free Promo Fraud.
                                    Many of you might have noticed that from November 1st onwards (in my case) BigTV started offering free channels for one month viewing, in my case it FX & FX Crime. It’s good, if you like these channels you can continue viewing these by subscribing to these after one month of free viewing.

                                    “But this is where the master planners have kept a secret weapon, what if you don’t like these channels & you don’t want to subscribe these channels.”

                                    To know more about this I called BCC, after going through all regular hurdles, this is what I came to know, BigTV makes a false notion that you are given free channels for viewing for one month, after one month these free channels will not be deactivated automatically and if you don’t deactivate these channels by manually calling to BCC, BigTV starts reducing amount from your account.

                                    And if you ask for deactivating the channels before one month, the reply will be “it’s not possible – call after one month” or “there is a technical complaint – call after one month”.
                                    The major advantage o[censored]sing Set Top Box, (STB) was that the viewers had the right to custom select channels for viewing. This free promo offer, forces the BigTV customers to watch channels. This is a direct neglect to the very basic importance of STB and the Law and Court in this country. In Simple words, this is called looting.

                                    * The Select Button (in remote) – picture in picture function, Fraud.
                                    Live TV channels are grouped into movies, news, sports etc, each group contains 12 channels, and these channels are shown in a single screen - tune in to any selected channel in one click is the main use for this button.

                                    This worked fine for almost two months (from purchase), later when you press select button only one group Movies with content was shown. There is no option to select or navigate to other groups.

                                    When enquired about this select button function, the BCC representative first told me to reset the STB to factory default setting and try after 30min. so that the STB returns to normal settings. Trusting this BCC representative, I followed the instruction but the function didn’t work. So I called BCC the very next day and after almost 15 – 30 min. of waiting, he informed me that it’s a technical complaint and will be cleared within days.

                                    It’s almost 3 months since I have complained; still the select function is not back in business.

                                    * The Complaint Number or Ticket Fraud.
                                    Normally if your complaint is genuine and needs to be corrected, all standard companies will give you a Complaint number or a Complaint Ticket, with this you can track your complaint status and is very helpful when you talk to Call Center representatives after a period of time.

                                    Now trying call the BCC for any of the above complaints, even if the free promo channels have been activated without your concern and for deactivating this the BCC representative says there is a technical complaint it can only be deactivated after one month, it’s not your fault, so you ask him to give a complaint request number he will not, saying there is no provision for this.

                                    Now try with the select button complaint, it’s not your fault that the select function is not working, it’s a standard function for all good DTH operator. Ask the BCC representative for a complaint request number, he will say there is no provision for this.

                                    My Question to BigTV is - these are not problems created by us, it’s your technical complaint that means your men have created it. The only mistake we have done is we took BigTV Service.

                                    * The HD + DVR Fraud.
                                    “Digital video recording
                                    Record up to 200 hours of video – that’s like an entire season of your favourite show!
                                    Enjoy trick functions like pause, rewind, fast forward – catch up with shows at your leisure
                                    Recorded content preview – Get a snapshot of the programme before viewing
                                    Set-top box with 160 GB hard drive – superior performance“

                                    These are sentences directly taken from the BigTV HD + DVR Website.

                                    If you are an existing BigTV Customer, you will be forced to view Channel 100 – the preview channel, each and every time you power on your STB. At times in this Preview channel, advantages about BigTV HD + DVR is Shown, listen to its carefully. The advertisement says you can record up to 2.5hrs of video but the website says you can record up to 200hrs of video, which one is correct.

                                    Since I have already made up my mind to change my DTH service in April 2011 as my subscription end, I didn’t have the energy and mind set to talk to the very responsive BCC.

                                    So if you are an existing BigTV customer jump away from it, it will surely loot you. Try switch to any DTH operator where you can use your cell phone to activate and deactivate channels.

                                    If your are going to be a BigTV customer, Please please for God and Heaven sake don’t jump into this mess. If you still plan move ahead with BigTV, you will regret, and once that stage comes, kindly post complaints like this so that at least one will be spared.

                                    It’s for Sure that if attitude & conditions remains the same, BigTV Bolt out is not so far.

                                      I bought Big TV in October and the problems started from the first day .I logged compliants with Customer care but in vain.Following are the problems I face
                                      1)Set top box hangs frequently.
                                      2)Regular menus disappeared.
                                      3)Remote control range is a big broblem cant operate with distance more than 2 meters.
                                      4)Arrogant and poor customer care.
                                      5)No dealer support .Dealers pass the bug to Big TV and vice versa.

                                      we are not satisfied with the services provided by bigtv.we recharged our connection on 4th may with rs.150.on9th may we had more than rs100 in our account balance.we complaint for poor reception to customer care.it was told to us that an engineer would visit our house regarding the complain.the complain no. provided to us was[protected] dated-09/05/10.on 11th may at 9:00pm bigtv engineer called us and wished to come to our house for servicing.it was not possible at that time, so we asked him to come on next day.next day no one came for servicing but our line was disconnected.when we made a call to the customer care of bigtv it was told that our balance has become nil after deduction of the servicing charge.to watch bigtv again we have to recharge with a voucher of rs 250.
                                      my question is-why we should pay for a servicing that has not been provided to us?who was the person that signed on behalf of the customer(us), so that bigtv has deducted money from our account?

                                        My Reliance BigFlix membership number is 44589320. I initiated this membership in the year 2008 and this is third year of my renewal. My membership expires this year on 1st November 1010.

                                        I received an email communication from Bigflix during last week of October 10, requesting for renewal. It says in case one renews within 31st October 2010 he/she gets a discount of 25% and it also mentioned that to avail this offer the membership has to terminate on or before 31st October.
                                        When I approached the ‘Webworld’ for renewal on 1st November 10 (my date of renewal), I was told that I will only get 15% instead of 25% as I am renewing in November.

                                        I FIND THIS EXCEEDINGLY RIDICULOUS, SILLY AND OUTRAGEOUS . Once YOU ARE SENDING EMAILS REQUESTING RENEWAL WITH 25% DISCOUNT you must honor it if I wish to pay prior to my date of renewal or YOU MUST KEEP THE SAME DISCOUNT ON during my renewal date also – since it is forcefully discriminating between customers. It is a pathetic and worst kind of marketing policy one can ever see – which actually amounts to CHEATING. God knows who runs your marketing ???? I AM FEELING CHEATED. Can’t expect from “Reliance” – may be it is the company to expect such nonsense.

                                        BigFlix — Poor Service

                                        Hello,
                                        My Registration with BigFlix is as follows:
                                        Membership Number: 58389889

                                        I had joined Bigflix through a Voucher which was from Big Bazaar hoping to have fun watching DVD's. It started off smoothly however one fine day the Pickup/Delivery boy forgot to pickup a DVD from my place.

                                        It was 6th Jan 09, Since then I have never received any DVD's from BIGFLIX. I have called them 3-4 times and posted query twice on their website. Their customer care department did called me and always assured me of sending a person with new requested DVD, however no one came. I made sure that some is manned at my place till 9pm so that I don't miss the pickup/delivery boy.

                                        I am highly disappointed with them. I would personally recommend to get some other Rental services other than BigFlix.

                                        BigFlix movie rentals — Movie checked out on 11th Jan still not delivered to me

                                        I am tremendously upset with the service BigFlix is providing. Movie checked out on 11th Jan 2009 is still not delivered to me in-spite of repeated complaints. Every time I call the customer care I get the response that my complaint has been escalated and they are working on it. I think I made a grave mistake by subscribing to BigFlix.
                                        I agree as I am going through a very similar experience:

                                        I recently subscribed to BigFlix and paid for 2 months membership via BigBazar offer (which is non refundable).

                                        It all went fine until 10th Jan 2009 when I sent a pickup request for the movie I had with me. On 11th as usual I got a sms confirming that the next movie in the queue was checked out and will be delivered to me. But it didn't happen although I was there at home the whole day.

                                        The next day I lodged a complaint stating the same and I was assured that the movie would be delivered to me soon. However, that 'soon' moment has never come till date. Every time I call the customer care, I get the response that my complaint has been escalated and it is being worked out. I really don't understand how much time it takes to work out a complaint as simple as this.

                                        I will still wait for a couple of days more. If they still do not resume delivery and do nothing about my complaint, I will have no option but to approach the Consumer Court for a redressal.

                                        I do hope that my issue gets resolved without having to approach the consumer court.

                                        But if the company does not pay heed to our complaints, we should all file cases in the Consumer Court. This is the only way we can make companies like these realize that they just can't keep harassing customers like this.

                                        Reliance Bigflix — Won't provide committed service

                                        When I took the subscription they showed me the shop and took a subscription and said I can come any time of the day and pick up a DVD, after 2 months I find that they have closed their shops and want me to wait for 24 hours to watch a movie. And when I share my problem and request for an action they tell me, they cant commit and Bigflix reserve the right for the way they want to operate. Now I have to plan a day in advance as to what I might want to watch tomorrow. On top of it they are offering me their new service. A shameless organisation and pathetic service.

                                        Reliance Bigflix — Poor service and loopholes

                                        I took the bigflix membership last month, as I was told by their customercare guys that new titles are available every 2 months
                                        When I joined I was not able to see any new titles even 5 months old. I was totally miscommunictaed.
                                        When I call theri call center at [protected] I am told that someone from logistics deptt will call and when I get a call they tell they are from head office.. and the complaint just keeps rotating.


                                        Once I was not availale at home so their person dropped a cd., now noone is delivering the cd's citing the reason that I amholding 2 cd's If I am holding 2 cd's someone should come and collect it, there is a complete mess, I have asked for the extension but not yet heard from them.

                                        I am raising these issues here so that people become informed and make prudent decisions before selecting any such companies.

                                        Calling the customer care is futile, because they have a standard answer and just say that it will be delivered in the next 24 hrs, but the dvd never comes.
