Hi,

I have purchased one Sony Xperia S mobile through Reliance Digital Kochi. After few days I have found that the handset is overheating. I went to the Sony service center and they provided DOA after 20 days for replacing the handset through the purchased store.

But I have faced some strange behavoir from the reliance store, they asked me to come on next for replacing item without any valid reason.
The next day when I went there and they asked me to pay the already given discount amount to them to get the handset replaced.

At last they given me a new handset and I can found the same issue after three days o[censored]sing it.

I feel very disappointed once I see the after sale support and the quality of item sold by reliance digital is very bad and loss of my my huge amount(28500/-) on this.

    Dear Customer Care,

    We bought a Sony LED 40" from Reliance Digital kormangala,Bangalore on 20/07/2012.

    Next day 2 person(Sonu [protected]) came for installation and demo.They tried to fix the TV stand but some how they didnt fixed it.
    They convey me that they will bring different TV stand within 5 days.
    After 5 days It was informed by executive that they dont have stock of that particular model so they will deliver it within 15 days.
    Despite of some other engagements we decided to stay back and wait for 1 month.We tried to reach hin severl times. But his mobile no was not rechable.


    After that I visited reliance outlet and discussed this issue to other executive,they assured me that they will talk to sonu and deliver it within 5 days.

    Please find the below bill details:

    More than delivery what shaken us was the way each employee was lying to save their skins. Extremely horrifying experience.


    Now, I am consulting my legal consultant regarding this issue that what kind of action should we have to take against your company as well as Reliance Digital.

      I purchased an LED TV on 07-Oct-2012, they promised to deliver it and install it the next day. Till today no one came, or bothered to call me. Instead I have called them 20 times to follow on it.

      Reason for the delay is "technician is busy". And when I asked for the technicians number the response from Reliance resQ team was "It is confidential, we cannot share it".

      Installation — Delay In INSTALLATION

      I deposited Rs 1000/ ( one thousans ) on 14.01.09 vide Reg . no KSU/GG/NOR/08-09/0907 in the name of Tarokendu Chakrabortty . I was told that within 2-3 days it will be inbstalled. Today being 23.1.09. I am still not provided with same. I planned to have Broadband connection post installation. I have 3 mobile connections of private service providers. But they never gave me any occasion to lodge a complaint, let alone taking payment beforehand. I am in doubt what sort of service I can expect from BSNL post Broadband installation . I am in doubt whether I have done right thing to opt for BSNL or should I have done better to opt for private service providers. Now can I hear a word rom you ? Or you'll advise me to withdraw deposited money ? Anyway Happy New YEAR !!

        EXTREMELY POOR ....POOR SERVICE.

        Am extremely unsatisfied with the sales service of your thane based reliance digital from where I purchased DSLR - CANON D1100. Just after 5 days of purchase the Bag given with the Bag Tears apart ... Near zip (this is the case when I didn't bring the cam out). I came here to show them the issue and the sales service man is arguing with me with bad words. Even I was committed to give a free tripod with this cam.... Tht is still pending after 2 weeks. No dates/ committement where provided to me.

        NOT SATISFIED.. WILL NOT PURCHASE ANY THING FROM HERE IN FUTURE.

          I have applied for a reliance Digital Tv connection on 08/09/2012 through Appco Group India (Appco Marketing (India) Pvt. Ltd. through their representative Ms.Rupa Roy Phone No. [protected] and Mr.Ratandeep Dutta begin_of_the_skype_highlighting [protected] end_of_the_skype_highlighting payment of 2990/- in the name of appco markeing (India) Pvt. Ltd. through cheque cleared by my bank on 11/09/2012.

          The Executive provided me Reliance Digital TV Customer acquisition form Sr. NO. [protected] and assured me that the connection will be installed within 6-8 working days.


          Sir after waiting for 15 days no set top box connection installed at my home, now i am trying to contact appco marketing on their numbers provided by his representative at his mobile as well company delhi & mumbai Numbers no one is picking up the phone.

          In the mean time i have no information regarding my set top box

          BIG TV DIS — NON INSTALLATION

          Bought on 26/8/2008 smart card no[protected], work order no [protected] complaint no 74796537 till this time they r only promising but not finishing the job
          I agree, the way Reliance Group is working is very bad. I was not expecting this from them.
          i[censored] have extra money then go for TATA SKY the best service compared to BIG TV.

          reliance dth big tv — no install no connection

          I had purchased one bigtv dth hardware in chennai adayar branch scah&co on 8/9/2008. till this date 21/9/2008 they do not install or give no conection.
          they sell only hardware only install only after 3 months because they didnt start service?

          Reliance Big TV Dish — DISH NOT INSTALLED

          we paid RS1500 for BIG TV Dish conection on 15 days back.
          when we are asking they saying no dish and not giving proper reply.and no phone call.

            we have purchase fridge of whirlpool co from reliance digital. they have supplie inferior quality of fridge and they have given replacement thrice but no solution. we have asked for refund and they have provided.

            however new fridge pricwe are gone almost 50% higher then last year.

              Hi..

              I bring Whirlpool Refrigerator From Reliance Digital . they also given me resq Plan for Services . One day i saw my Fridge Door Rubber is Tear ( Fat Gya) ,and also saw water coming down from Fridge.
              I call to Reliance Resq Customer care and booked Ticket . Same day a Engg come and saw the Problem and tell " Sir Rubber Badlna Padega" Maine bola Ok ..Then the story begins ,
              Its been more than 2 week . a simple problem is not fixed by Reliance , I brought all my Electronics product from Reliance Digital and for every product i have taken Reque Plan . First time i am using this plan and litterly i am fed up with there servce and responce.

              I really Fed up with Responce from them .
              Now i suggest my friends never go for reliance resque Plan , Worst Service i have ever seen . But during purchase they promise lots . " Sir we r best Service"
              During call to Customer care also they hold the call for long time.But the IVR they talked lots .

              One day they given one number [protected], but he never pick that call.


              Is there any one who can take care of this case .

                I was gifted a couple of stuff from Reliance Digital... A Wireless Keyboard, and a Sony headphone. I had the bill as well.

                Since I had both the stuff already, I walked in the store and requested the store manager to exchange these stuff. He was very rude and impatient with me. He told me that he can't do it because of company policy.

                Neither the packets were opened, nor I used it. I had the bills, and I tried the exchange on the same day. He kept repeating that a wireless keyboard comes under accessory, and accessories can't be exchanged.

                http://reliancedigital.in/returnpolicy.html policy doesn't mention about the fact the accessories can't be exchanged. It says... "computer" cannot be exchanged, not the accessories. I am very dissatisfied, and I am afraid that I will never shop from Reliance Digital.

                  I bought an Apple i mac from reliance digital keeping this fact in my mind that I am buying an apple product which I trust the most in terms of performance and services. Retailer could be any one but as i had been the regular customer of reliance digital so keeping "TRUST" and "NEAR BY" factors in my mind I bought it from Reliance Digital Store: Phoenix Mall Bangalore. I had to gift it to someone so i took it to Mumbai because my family members stay there. It didn't start at all, device was dead which was a kind of shock for me but still i thought it will be easy for me to get it replaced anywhere in INDIA according to APPLE's policy(which gives you service all over the world). I talked to the apple customer care they said they cant help it as i bought it from reliance digital so i will have to take it to Bangalore only and get it replaced there(earlier they were not doing the replacement also, I managed to get it approved from Apple). I went to apple store for getting the information and DOA(Date on Arrival), initially they said no to everything and didn't come with solution for which i again had to talk to higher authorities and get it done. Finally all was set for the replacement but the reliance digital came into the picture and according to their policy product has to be replaced at the center from where you bought it which contradicts apple's policy completely. Device is too heavy to be carried from one place to another place(weighs more than 14 kg) so it is not possible for me to take it from Mumbai to Bangalore on my own risk, it gives me three type of loss:
                  a. Mental pressure b. Time Waste c. Money waste
                  If device gets damaged then i will have to bear the complete loss and company(neither apple nor reliance) will not be responsible for it which is again extremely risky for me. I told them my concern then they said the same thing that even they have the same risk in shipping it to MUMBAI where i want the replacement to be done that is why they are giving us the potion of getting it changed here in Bangalore. Device's price is Rs.85000 approx. which is a huge economic loss for me. I want the the device to be replaced in MUMBAI itself as per apple's policy as I am an apple customer not the reliance digital's. Moreover it had to be replaced in 14 days from the date of purchase for which to get over only 3 days are left and all the conversation with apple and reliance is keeping me on the marginal lines that can again make me loose my Rs 85,000. I have been following them up from 31 July and on 31 itself i opened it and found that its not working. I went to Reliance digital because of Apple Product, I didn't buy apple product because it was present in Reliance Digital Store.

                  Pleassssssssssseeeeeeeeeeee help me out...i havebeen suffering a lot.

                    Yes, I did receive some message on the day I complained but after that there's been no replies from Reliance Digital. I am not sure of the intentions of Reliance Digital. Do you intend to give the prize at all ? Or the contest was just a publicity stunt without spending anything ?

                    I am very dissapointed with the attitude of Reliance Digital. If you didn't had enough funds for the prize, you should not have arranged for this contest at all. No one would expect such actions from one of the flag ship companies of India.

                      it was briefed incorrect by the sales person there about the characteristics of CANON camera.. The problem with me that the storage capacity is too less for recording but they never told us the same. I went to purchase Sony handycam but they insisted to go for CANON digital costs 19335. After reading the manual I came to know about the storage capacity I asked them to exchange the same with sony handycam but they are not ready for this. Whereas they have 7 days return policy...

                      I would appreciate if this can be done asap... because the occasion for which I purchased the same is coming nearby..

                      For your information... It is written in your written policy that the no exchange for COMPUTERS AND MOBILES... about which I was known!!
                      But if it would have mentioned there that same is applicable for camera also I may have taken more time to select the same.. The shop manager is telling that we have hanged the board in our store to convey the msg that there is no exchane for Camera also !! do you think this is enough??

                      I dont want to bother all of you but this is really a condition where I am stuck.. this is really not acceptable to me and i desparately want to exchange (not return) this as per my requirement. Becuase 20000/- is not a small amount to me!!

                      What a rubbish!!
                      It is in saleable condition but do anybody can return the item for replacement in sealed condition??
                      In my case the seal was broken by you people only for demo... now how anybody will go for replacement if he will not check the item and to check anything one have to break the seal.

                      I do want the replacement with same range of sony/canon handycam.. if not through you, I will not hesitate to go to consumer court.

                      I will wait for next two days for your positive reply; after that i will file the case against you in consumer court.

                        We have Recharged Reliance Digital TV via netbanking and the services were not resumed. After great struggle we were finally able to reach the customer care after one hour. Even though i got a receipt of the payment and they agreed they got the payment they were not ready to resume the service because of thier technical issue.After agreeing to take the complaint they told us it will take three days to take resolve the issue. Does it take three days to look into a small technical issue these days? Is this the way to treat the customers? this is really lousy and pathetic service. I advice nobody go for reliance digital connection as its poor service sucks.

                        Onelince recharge which should happen within minuts takes three days!!. This happens only in India.

                          I am S.Ashok Kumar from madurai.Cell n0:[protected].Email id:ash.[protected]@gmail.com.I purchased a sandwich maker(model no:4B11905) from Reliance Digital(In Vishal Mall) on 1/4/2011.It got repaired on 8/7/12.When approached the showroom we were askd to wait and it took almost an hour and then they gave us an address where we should get it repaired.The job sheet number is 3484 Recently we got a call from the service centre that they are not able to repair it and we should collect a slip from the service centre and produce it in the showroom to get a fresh piece.Just for getting a product sericed we are made to move around and wait for a long time.Its not possible for me to move over from service center to showroom and vice versa.I request the higher authorities to look into it and do the needful for me and also the future customers.

                            Sony Led 22' instillation
                            I have purchase Sony LED 22' in the month of 17th June'12 but up to 23rd June they are not send ay person for instillation in my house. When i ask to Customer care they told me my seles executive - Mr.Raja halder (AXIS mall -Reliance Digital -Saltlake) will taking action for instillation, whin i call him, he is refuse my call. after some time his cell was switch off, and after 3days no one customer care executive atten my cell and office no. whin i call from other no tehy accept it,but whin i asking them my problem they disconnect my call. and next time they dont accept this no also.after 5 days some one from sony call me and come to instillation in my home. it is very disgusting that they don't treat post service call seriously at all.If this type of service is being over looked i will never buy or suggest anybody to visit a Reliance Store gain.

                              0n dated 16.06.2012 I tried to purchase Cinema tickets (Ferrari Ki Sawari) through big cinema web site.
                              Initially ,I tried with my credit card but the ticket never booked but money got deducted.I thought money will come back after few days as other company do.
                              After few minutes, I tried the same using NET Banking again the same thing happend .
                              Till date I have never got any amount back,they informed that the transaction was updated.
                              How it is possible to have same seat selection for two transaction.
                              I have not recieved any EMAIL/SMS/or any type of confirmation.If it was a successful transaction where the alert or its confirmation went?

                                I bought a Pureit water purifier from Reliance Digital, Kammanahali, Bangalore on Sunday- 1st July,2012 ,and was assured by the salesman that the same would be installed the very next day. Moreover, I awas also told that the Product has a 1 year Warranty.

                                I soon realized that buying the product from Reliance Digital was a HUGE HUGE mistake!!!

                                The next day I started following up with the call center of Pureit and the People at Reliance Digital here for installation. Nothing happened... no one came or even called. Next morning, I had to repeat the same procedure.. Finally the the Pureit technician arrived at 4:00 pm on 3rd July,2012. On inquiring about the delay, he showed me the text message he received just 2 hours ago. Which means, neither Reliance Digital nor Pureit Call Center bothered to do a followup on their sold products till I made a big Issue about it. On opening the boxed product at the time of installation, we also realised that the Instruction Manual says that the product only has 6 Months Warranty!! This also goes to show how well trained the staff at Reliance are about the Products they are selling.
                                After installation, that very night, water started leaking non-stop from the middle chamber. I called up the Pureit call center again and lodged a complaint, knowing very well that Reliance will not respond or support any customer complaints after sales. The Technician came the next day... "observed the product" declared that it had no problems and went. About one and half hours later, water started leaking again. I called up the technician immediately. He said he would come the next day. Today, he came again... "observed the product" again.... declared that it was alright and left. One and half hours later, water started leaking again!!!
                                Neither Reliance nor Pureit has been of any help. I am stranded with a malfunctioning water purifier and it feels like I paid and bought a huge headache!!

                                    Date of product not working and complaining to Reliance Digital - 27/5/2012. Customer service person on call(srinath) promised to look into the matter and follow it up with Kenwood. He said reliance will be lodging a complaint with Kenwood and someone from Kenwood would follow it up.
                                    We repeated called the store(no calls from their side)and their repeated answer was that the person from kenwood will come any time that day.
                                    On 1st June , they kept us waiting from 3pm -5pm on the pretext that someone will come to see the product but no one showed up. On 2nd June the CRM manager of the store Named Hairtha talks rudely to us saying Reliance Digital is not responsible to provide service for Kenwood products and/or deal with those who provide service for Kenwood products. They did not even provide us a complaint number. We also went to the store where again it was like being insulted talking to the person srikanth at the customer service desk. He had no intention of helping us. So that is how Reliance digital washed off its hand after selling a product to us which got unusable in 3 months. If anyone can suggest me the actions I can take(if any) legally, I will be grateful.

                                      I have installed a Voltas AC in the month of January,2012 but from few days there are problems which i am noticing.Accordingly,i have called up the Reliance Digital store at VIP Road from where i had bought the Air Conditioner on 2nd June,2012.I have addressed the problem and the complaint was taken by one of the Executive.But,it is very disgusting that they don't treat post service call seriously at all.Excuses are being given day after day with assurance that Service Engineer will come.But,till now service is pending kindly look after this matter as this type of service is being over looked i will never buy or suggest anybody to visit a Reliance Store gain.
