I was told that I would be provided with the jio sim if I purchase the handset and the sim would be activated within 2-3 days. And hence I purchased the handset on 6th Sep 2016 evening, then the shopkeeper asked me to come the next day and sim activation would be done. Again when I went the next day he is asking to come again in the afternoon, then again in the evening and next day and so on. I have spent a whole week going to shop and asking for the sim. When approached the Jio Service Centre on Saturday 10th Sep 2016, they assured me that sim would be available with the retail outlet on Monday. If they don’t provide it, then they would give and activation would be done within 10 minutes if Adhaar Card is given. But today, the shopkeeper told the sim is not yet available. I went to the service centre who had assured me that he would definitely get the activation done today. But today he is telling no stock. There is no response for the email, no one at the customer care receive the call. If it is that the handset gets one sim they should have provided both the set and the sim at the outlet. How fair is it making a customer roam about, leaving their work? It amounts to a huge loss to the customers and also unnecessary travel and waste of time and money just to enquire regarding this.
The Mobile too is not good. Even if not used, the battery comes down and gets heated up when charged or a call for just 10 minutes. When enquired at the shop, he said to check again for one day, if the problem persists then within a week of purchase he would replace it. When I approached saying that the problem continues, he asked me to go the service centre. There they told, that value is low, so nothing can be done. The quality differs with price, but here the mobile heats up and it is not that high priced mobile doesn't get heated up and low priced mobile heats up. The service centre persons also don't respond properly.
Kindly look into the matter.
