Today, I went to Reliance trends and purchased 6 items based on the price tags attached to each item. When I went to the cashier for payment, the billing was done and amount was paid. When the final bill print out was handed over, I noticed that one item was billed @ Rs 299/- against the tag price of Rs 199/-. when it was duly pointed out, the cashier responded that he could do nothing and I was asked to exchange the item. They refused to refund the amount. As I was prepared to buy that particular item only at the price of Rs 199/-, I demanded for refund of amount. The cashier did not bother to inform me while making out the bill that the item costs Rs 299/- and not Rs 199/-( The price tag was a mistake of the staff). Had it been pointed out at that time I would have probably dropped the item.

Even when I made a complaint, they refused to acknowledge. They even did not display the email id or the address with phone numbers for escalating the matter.

The name of the Reliance has a brand image and I believe they have a policy of addressing the grievances of the customers. Such a big name like reliance is poorly lacking in that front and it is shocking experience for a guy like me who has lot of faith in Indian corporate world.

Didnt you speak to the store manager on this, go to the store talk to the concerned manager if he agrees well & good, if not insult him by giving more Rs 100 infront of his staff very politely... GANDHI GIRI MAMU

I faced a problem with reliance one card points, I regularly shop @ Reliance Fresh and trends, when i surrendered my temporary old card and they given me new card. Every day they are telling as there is SERVER PROBLEM. they aren't clubbing both cards.I have told them to ignore my old card, and to redeem the points accrued in NEW card bt it had not been done so far. customer service lapse.

I had similar experience at Jubilee checkpost branch, Hyderabad. I bought few clothes after verify the tag and get the confirmation from the sales executive over there. But at billing time, it is displaying as 299/- instead of rs.199/--. When i approached the customer care, they are politely it is a human error and its happends with all o[censored]s. I think they are least bothered about the customer. It not happend just for one shirt or dress. wrong tag is displaying for almost 3 products. Very bad on the Reliance.

    Reliance Trendz is in the habit of fooling customer lke me with their coupon offers..
    This month I made purchases worth 9000 Rs and I was given coupons worth 4500. The condition is that 500 Rs coupon gets redeemed on purchase of 1000 Rs (in multiples of 500 Rs value ).
    They have also mentioned some exclusions ...but not stated clearly in coupon as to what they are..The coupons are to be accepted from yesterday till 11th of July..
    I went with family to Gurgaon just to purchase cloth and encash the same.
    I was in for a shock...
    1) There were atleast 100 small posters in the store saying that there was some problems (technical) with coupons and they were not accepted that day..
    2) Almost 90% of Brands and categories were exempted (in ladies wear) from the coupon redemption scheme...
    3) The staff had no idea of the trouble the customer is put through.....

    Some people who threatened the store staff with legal consequences or had good links were finally allowed to encash coupons ....

    I have had the same experience in previous cases with reliance...

    Earlier cases last diwali time offers( coupon) and the Reliance time out offers...
    You wil be in for a rude shock.... when you take coupons...
    The store does not respect its own coupons ....They dont keep up commitments and always shortchange their customers

    The behaviour of customer service and sash counter guys is not at all welcoming, it is as if we arer troubling them by visiting reliance trends.
    I broughtr a trouser and gave i for alteraion at the customer service desk, and he did not bother to call me up before closing the shop at 10, i will have to go all the way some day again in order to collect that trousers.
    i think it's a heabits, mostly big stors doing same excsise and they know very well no body can take action aganist them
    The staff @ Reliance Trendz doesn't know how to attend customers as it requires formal training, education and grooming. See the Staff @ Pantaloons and notice the difference yourself.
    It is true, even i had the same issue, i purchased scullers, Peter England and John Player brands, but when i checked these at home, stitched threads were coming out, Reliance is selling seconds at original price and fooling the people like this.
    i am of same experience . i received coupons for two nights /3 days stay in some selected hotels at selected places. when i first opted for two alternative places the travel port personnel called on phone and told that they dont have accommodation in the hotels ( which are star hotels) and offered me alternative cheap hotels(which are not listed) though i have sent my request well in advance. when i inquired personally those hotels i am told that there is vacancy. when i asked the travelport to reply the same they have tactfully returned my voucher asking me to use other time.
    2nd time also i selected fortune hotel at tirupathi they made same plea and booked guestline hotel which is very cheap hotel and service is bad. as i have already fixed with the other reservations and there is no possibility for extension, i have gone for.
    this what happening with the reliance cheating spree.
    My experience not deferent in Aurangabad.I have purchased a school bag of grip which torn in two months.
    The Reliance people authorities always think that people are fools. In every industry they operate, they try to cheat people. Try the mobile, stock broking, Insurance, Retails everywehere you are taken for a ride.

    DON'T BELIEVE THIER WORDS. JUST IGNORE THEIR OFFERS/COUPENS

      SAME THING WAS HAPPEN WITH ME ALSO
      ALWAYS THEY KEEP OLD STOCK NO NEW ARRIAVALS AND LIMITED SIZE. WHY NOT RELIENCE TREND IS BEING CLOSE FOR ALWAYS. WHY THEY ARE MAKING PEOPLES FOOL. WHAT THEY WILL EARN WITH SUCH KIND OF BUSINESS. NO ONE IS THERE TO HERE CUSTOMER VOICE SPECIALLY HIS MANAGER .

        I had purchased a RED TAPE brand of shoes from Reliance Trend Ansal Plaza Greater Noida within month shoes get torned from side after coplaint they were agree to replace but there was no shoes of 10 numbers fit for me. But Reliance Trend manager was not agree to return money they had forced me for shoes. Then any how i managed costlier shoes 2499 in place of 1499 of red tape but insole of this shoes also damaged within 15 days and they were agree with that but they told me they entertain again if problem comes as per thier company same problem again repeated but they are not entertaining me. This is first instance in my life where such thing is being happen. More mony and time loss with them even pain started because of this in my ankles. They dont have fresh arivals they dont have options with sizes then what customer should do in such cases. This is first time in my life where i had gone to shop for shoes return. Pls suggest what i should do in this case.

        Mr. Ambani pls improve reliance trend and its quality thier employess force to purchase reliance brand where quality means nothing pls do the needful for its improvement. And instruct them to short above matters.

          dear sir,

          i recently purchased a night wear trouser in reliance trends, begumpet, hyderabad branch on the promise that my trouser would be altered to my size.i gave my dimensions and the trouser at alteration desk for which they gave me the slip containg details of my trouser.i was made to wait for one long hour for a small alteration and finally they handed over me the trouser which was not altered at all.reliance is a very big company and i just want to question why is your work not up to mark as such your prices are.i want justice in this matter.           hi, i am rejeesh raveendranathan from kochi. recently reliance trends in oberon mall, kochi offered a Giodriano watch (heard for the first time) worth Rs 3500/- with every purchase of cloths for the equal amount. i also had the misfortune to get one. anon, i could make out that the watch must really be costing not more than Rs 350-400. few days later, when it was exposed to rain, the interior of the watch was filled with water vapor. cant say how much i feel angry at this so called biggest retailers..
          On the eve of Durgapuja I brought a saree for my wife from RELIANCE TRENDS, Fortune Plaza Nachan Road Durgapue-713213 WB on 3rd Sep '12 to celebrate Durgapuja this year. This year Durgapuja was celebrated from 21st Oct to 24th Oct'12. So, on 22nd Oct'12 the second day of Durgapuja when my wife is going to wear that saree to observe Durgapuja, it is noticed that the saree is torned from its middle position. Then I contact with Customer Service Desk of that store with necessary documents and report all the matter and ask him to take proper step for this case.But the official told me that it is a case of exchange and he also told me that as the saree was sold from the store more than one month ago it is unable to do anything by him on this case as per terms and condition of the said store. But I think It is not the case of exchange it is the case of selling defective materials using the brand name of RELIANCE. I think it is a complete case of frauds and cheating. So I want to aware everybody, think again before entering this type of mega shop as they were always keep a cheating mentality to cheat general people. It is also a request to you please take a necessary action so that I can get proper judgement from this store.

            I purchased items worth Rs.4000/- from Reliance Trends, Ambience Mall, Gurgaon on 17/12/08. The company had scheme of 50% Cash Back on purchases. As per the scheme I was given Coupon worth Rs. 2000/-. But to my surprise, as per the coupon, I was entitle for free purchases worth Rs. 2000/- only if I further do purchasing of Rs. 4000/-. This shows that although the scheme was for 50% Cash Back, but in fact it was only 25% Cash Back. Is it not cheating the customers by anouncing such schemes, which in fact are not there.

            I want concerned authorities, should take action against Reliance Trends.

            Reliance Trends — Goverment Mentioned on Back of Invoice instead of Garment

            On the back side of invoice, under the heading of Return Policy in point no. 6th it is mentioned as Goverment however it should be garment.

            Kindly look into it as they are not having any dedicated web site to register any issue.

            This is Tonnistha, from banglore, and I want to post a story over this site as am very much upset with the Rilance Trend Richmond showroom.
            The bill Mid :[protected] and batch# : 000174.I purchased 3 garments and two candles, now intentionally or unintentionally, for a single garment they billed me twice .I didn’t check the bill as I never used to check when I used to visit others shops like Pantaloons, Westside, SS.I came back was checking the bills and called them then and there and their reply was ” come tommorow we will see but first we need to check the a/c, whether your right or not.” as if I don’t have any other work than visiting their stores and very shamelessly they were telling “we cant refund the money, and u have to parches some items instead”.
            I always had a special respect for the funder and for the Brand, but after this i feel I have to think twice before entering to Rilance Trends
            I bought some bedroom and Drawing Room upohelsty like pillow covers and sofa cushions and covers and also regular pillows for bedroom and round pillows for drawing room on 09-01-11, I paid by Manhattan Platinum Credit Card a sum of Rs.1925.00 and again on 16-1-11 a sum of Rs.1730.00 at your Reliance Trendz, Begumpet, Hyderabad between this period and there is a sale in the stores upto 50% i.e buying one pillow another pillow is free. I bought two pillow for a cost about Rs.500/- by cash and got two pillows free as per the scheme previlling then. These pillows are kept in packed condition. Two days back when we opened the pack all the four pillows are in damaged condition with black spots all over. I took these pillows to your store in the same condition as they are and showed to the management staff there and surrendered them asking them for replacement. I was assured the matter will be a referred to you and replacement will be arranged soonest possible.

            Kindly do the needful, as this is a clear case of manufacturing deffect.

            It is not only with Trends.
            It is everywhere, starting from Fresh, Not fresh, Blue Giris, Digital, Trends and all the so called super markets.
            Even the single branch Super markets too follow the style of Big retail chains...

            Their main targets are IT guys and their beauty parlor trimmed wives. Because these High Net worth(less) Customers or High income(Nil outcome) Group customers never check the number of items purchased or rather what they have paid for and what they are actually taking home. Ha Ha Ha...
            I have seen many times in Chennai Super markets. Don't ask what I was doing there!?
            The cheating tendency of the supermarket is due to the careless attitude of the customers only. They fill the Trolley as if they are getting them free.
            Then at the billing counter, they pressurize the billing girl (A poor 10th Pass or a 12th Fail).Quick.. Quick...
            So, the goo[censored]ps all supposed to happen always there. In many of the Super markets, they have many non-moving items (old stocks) and just going to expire items under their billing counters. While scanning the items, when the customer look somewhere, they scan & put these items one or two per customers (Very honest one or two only). And most of the time, the customer or the Tongue tip English speaking bulky lady, never check the items, instead she will wipe her card or handover a Sodexo coupon booklet, and request the counter man to reach the items to her car. Because while carrying the items, if any pack falls down, she will not be in a position to bend her 44 inch slim tummy. (Pun intended). On the way to car sometime she throws the bill like a ATM Slip dumped after a Transaction. That's all. The bill goes to some side and the items dumped in their car, and then into their EMI paid flat, without bothering which item is nearing expiry date, Which items Packing is damaged... They Eat like Somalians and Live like a French.
            Never bother the world around them.

            All the hard Working IT guys, please do skip the above lines. Royal Salute to them. This is only meant to those Jokers, who spoil the economy of our mother country and Escalate the living cost of any city.
            When these Guys starts earning by physical work, then only these scenarios will change. Or else all Wall marts will come and loot us, after these super markets daringly.

            Reliance Trends — defective garments

            I had bought 2 cotton t shirts, which when washed with other clothes bled colour which has got onto other clothes. The laundries are unable to help and a small purchase from the hill road store has left us with unusable new garments over Rs 10, 000. Very poor quality from a branded store.

              The Reliance Trends store in Ambience Mall, Gurgaon has been publicising and offering "50% Cash Back" for shopping there.
              This is a completely misleading tactic and amounts to cheating people. There is no "cash back". At best one can get a 25% discount, ie for buying 2000 Rs worth of stuff, you get 500 Rs less. In reality it works out to be even less and the discount is between 13% and 25% only leave alone the promise of "50% cash back"

              Hi,

              I had purchased a carry bag from Reliance trend Ambience mall (Gurgaon) and got 1 year warranty for the same but after 4 month bag is torn out.

              When i went to reliance trend for the replacement or repairing the bag, initially they refused to replace the same but after meeting with Store manager Mr. Ashish they agree for the replacement and said to me that keep the bag in our store and it will be replaced within three days.But now it's been two week and my bag has not been replaced. When ever i ask for the same they have only one answer that sir it will take one or two days more.But there is no any satisfactory answer from there end.

              it is very difficult to go and take follow up again and again now i am frustrated and i want reliable solution for the same .

              Please do the needful asap.

              Reliance Trends Ambi Mall Gurgaon.

              I have purchased Carrier Window AC from Reliance Trends Gurgaon Ambi Mall. Within a year I faced issue with the product. I registered complaint to their call center on May 1, 2011. They kept me fooling aorund for 5 days, After 5 days they mentioned we don't service the products which are purchased from Reliance. They will provide service by themselves.

              Then I register complaint to Reliance where getting the line is big problem. Somehow I got to register and it turn out to be BIG BIG frustration about the service. Today is 10th May I would have made at least 150 calls from my mobile to track the service person. He is nowhere in sight.
              Reliands Trends Ambi Mall Gurgaon its perfect shoping mall. Full satisfaction can getting from this shop fro ever purchase.
              Sales Girls and all staffs, help to customer for purchase and everythink.

                I had purchased a business phone from the Reliance Trends Store at Ambience Mall, Gurgaon. The said phone had a tremendous battery backup problem, software problem. The sales person misguided me to buy that handset probably the brand offered him a good sales commission. From the very moment i purchased the handset, i faced the said problems. And three days thereafter i had to rush to the store to get the problems fixed. No one was ready to help me out with me saying that "Its Dussehra and we are all busy today." I had to call a lawyer of Reliance Comm. and it was only then they paid attention to my issue. Its been three days now after dussehra, they are not taking any steps for the same. Moreover they are not picking my calls. I am now constrained to take a legal action against them as I see no alternative left. Its really shocking that even these big brands are deficient in providing after sales service. Then why do we buy things from stores like Reliance Trends. Is it only for a pre-sales satisfaction? If after sales service is so poor in big stores, we may choose to buy stuffs from normal retail stores. Atleast it will save some money.

                Dear every one,
                We need to change the consumer scenareo in India. Its probably the worst in the world because we just dont give a damn. Wake up for your rights!

                I totally agree with you on this issue. Why Reliance, every product manufacturer / service provider in the country does not look up to the consumer at all. Once the product / service is sold, thats it. Its pathetic. Gone are the days of 'Consumer is King', if they are just looked as Consumers, that would be more than enough. Look at Tata Sky for example, when you take the offer, they provide you with a number of channels. Now, after 2 months, all sports channels have been switched off, the Active channels have also been switched off and the best part, when you call them up and threaten that you will puull-out, what they say is alarming - PLEASE GO AHEAD. The country is going to the dogs and in this manner, we cannot aim to be a superpower any time in the next 100 years. Sometime I wonder we should have been ruled by the Britishers, atleast some level of discipline would have been there. Hello, is someone listening. Here's an opportunity.
                I too had brought a suit-length for Rs 1600 in December 2010 (spent another about 300 for stitching) for my daughter from Reliance Trends but the quality is poor that with one hand wash in mild detergent it has faded and the print has come off. Now she cannot use it. I waiting for an opportunity to visit their shop in Ambience Mall in Gurgaon and throw it on the face of the Manager.
