Dear sir / madam,
I am writing to you to raise an issue about: mobile phones & accessories
The issue that i have experienced was: recently i purchased samsung m21 4gb blue color model from samsung estore. Order# [protected]. I got the phone delivered on 1st july.
I observed a physical damage with the phone. The right side of the phone has two minor dents on it.
I raised this with samsung on 1st july itself and on 2nd july i called up samsung estore team with the issue. I was asked to share pictures of damaged portion, inner box and outside box. I did the same on 2nd july. After that multiple discussions happened with samsung team and i was promised that i need not go service center to get my phone checked, rather the same would be either replaced/ refunded by estore team since there is physical damage. This was last promised to me by mr. Mohit on 10th july also. On 14th july when i called estore team again since no resolution was still in sight, i saw a hostile response and this time i was told by mr. Vaibhab that since the outside plastic wrapper is not available with me now so nothing can be done to my case. I was never told about this wrapper before and obviously didn't keep it with me since i had torn it apart on the very first day. Today only to deny any service to me, estore team is saying that due to absence of this i will not be getting any service. They also told me that they had sent emails to me, but those emails never came to me. I am sure no mail was sent and these are all lies to cover up samsung's misdeed and leave the customer in suffering. I have reached out to samsung ceo office also but they are equally lost in helping in this issue. The only intent is to keep customer waiting for long and then inform that service cannot be provided due to reasons samsung team themselves responsible for.
It occurred on: 1/07/2020
Samsung has to either replace my damaged mobile or refund the amount i paid to purchase it.
I look forward to your prompt response on this matter. I would like to keep a complete record of my case, so please reply back via this email account.

    Hello, this is pratik telgani i had purchased my handset on 9th of may 2019 and i faced the network issue related to my handset within the warranty period and i have already filed it through online requesting to replacement. Due to lockdown i was not able to go to the service centre. And after few weeks of opening of lockdown i went to the service centre to claim my warranty but they refused saying we have given 14days of time to calim and u didn't show up in dat period where as the extended time was not at all informed either through mail or message. Now the are refusing to claim my warranty

      Hello

      My sister had put in a load of clothes in the washing machine (wobble technology), my maid who was in the room was ironing clothes, first caught a burning smell. When she went on to check, smoke was coming out of the washing machine. In a few seconds it caught fire, my maid then ran to tell us what was happening, but as we reached the room, the washing machine was burning as flames were protruding from inside it. We immediately switched off the main house switch started and started diffusing the fire by pouring water on it, which took a few minutes to go out and no one was harmed.

      The damage was averted as swift action was taken by us, but our maid was lucky as she informed us immediately and did not attempt to put out the fire on her own. Our kitchen is very close to the washing and ironing room and if we had not come to know about the fire, God Forbid there could have been heavy consequences.

      I have numerous Samsung products at home including 4K television, microwave, high capacity oven, a couple of double door fridges etc. We never expected this kind of hazardous electronic malfunction from a Samsung washing machine. I request immediate action on your behalf. Photos attached for your reference.

        I have purchased the above mentioned machine in 1999. Over the period its trays and vegetable bin is broken and needs replacement for quit some time. I have approached the company through its common service numbers several times. Almost all the trays and bin are mended with sellotape. The equipment is working satisfactorily but because of this, often company mechanic has suggested replacing the fridge.in my opinion the company should make available the tray and bin for which the cost will be duly paid.

        Please help.

          I purchase samsung level u on 11/11/19 and in july 2020 it started facing problem of getting disconnected automatically, so i visited near authorised service centre of samsung in mehsana, gujarat. They told me that it will be get replaced because the product is in full warranty, but after 4 days when i got replaced product, it was broken from inside and watching it condition it seems that the product was refurbished and i gave it back to service centre than they started telling that it is in good condition it can not be get replaced but some how i tried and convience them to get replaced but the same story repeats i got another product damaged to it was full of skretches and wire of ear piece are crack. Samsung is provind refurbished product when you go to replaced your original product in warranty period.

          Third and fourth attachments is product photo and video which i got damaged.

            I was ordered my galaxy m21 mobile on 24/06/2020 which order id no is [protected].
            Today at 3pm I received my product.
            And when I was unsealed the box and switch on the mobile.Mobile was started after that when I go for insert the SIM I found Sim trey is not provided /available with the mobile.
            When I contact customer care and tell them the issue they were asked me to mail the lease share the images of the product received with /, packaging, brand box etc. Post that you are requested to allow us 5-7 days to co-ordinate with the delivery partner to investigate the issue and arrange to provide the necessary replacement.
            I was provide all the required information to them .
            After that they asked to visit Samsung service centre and tell me to ask CSR COPY from service centre.
            I also provide them CSR COPY on 8th of July 2020.
            From that day I am continuously call the customer care.but my issue is not resolved till.they always told me to wait for 24 hours from 8th of July. I also had a word with supervisor TANVEER SINGH AND SATANDER PAL. But they also not resolved my issue.

              It is mentioned that merchant has to give cashback, submitting recipet to the bank. But it didn't arrived dont know where to contact. Just called the samsung helpline call ended up without answer.

                I placed an order for wireless power bank from samsung e store on 28th june 2020.

                The product was shown as delivered on 2nd july 2020, 6:30 pm by ecom express. I was not called or neither did i get an otp for a prepaid order for 3k rupees. I tried reaching samsung but due to covid their customer care was not available.

                I tried raising a complaint and also reached out to them each and every day from 2nd july, was also calling ecom express. Both the customer care executives have only one thing to say "will be resolved in 24 to 48 hours".

                It is now 14 days, 16 of july, and again i get the same response. Kindly do not buy from this website, or atleast prefer cash on delivery in which case the product would take half the time of the regular time.

                  I have placed an order in samsung corporate portal and due to incorrect eway bill the order has put hold by ecom express pvt ltd and samsung not taken any action on this and not giving an option to cancel the order and no update from samsung even after multiple complaints. Ecom express saying samsung is not responding to her emails.

                    I brought the refrigerator on 13th june 2020, was installed by samsung team next day with all the demo given. 13th to 26th june noticed the fridge compartment not cooling (Food getting spoiled) and raised an issue on 27th via phone.
                    1. 6th july service engineer comes home to check, within 2 mins he claims it is working fine and this was a false issue raise. On further asking him when both compartment are fridge setting and set at 2c why is top alone cooling and not bottom, he said top will always cool more and bottom wont. He also claimed this is inverter fridge and has this issue, you should have asked before purchase. He was ridiculously rude and rushed out saying it is false claim without addressing and giving a solution. Total time was 2-3 minutes and didn't check anything.
                    2. Post that 4 calls were made to customer care for the issue and repeatedly told that it has been informed to the service teams and they will send a senior person. On one of the calls the customer agent vignesh repeatedly says if there is an issue we will fix it. More like there is no issues and you are calling us. Why would i call after buying a 60k fridge and if it was working fine, does it look like all customers simply call without problems and we are wasting out time?
                    3. Finally after escalating on 15th again, 16th the same engineer comes to check who is rude and has no sense of customer service.
                    4. Same service agent comes on 16th, steps he does
                    A. Connect a error logging device into back of the fridge, says there is no issue
                    B. Checks temperature at 4 places (Bottom compartment top shelf - 5c, vegetable bucket - 7.5c, bottom compartment middle rack (Note: inside the fan holder itself, felt intentional, not ready to check where actual food is kept) - 3.5c, top compartment (Freezer concerted to fridge) - -1c.
                    C. Multiple problems here, ideal temperature of food not getting spoiled is 4c, bottom compartment everything is above 4c (2 hrs food becomes not edible. How can i expect a new fridge to work at this setting if i have set it at 2c intentionally for my fridge.
                    B. The service engineer says 1-11c is acceptable, how on earth will any customer accept 11c when setting is at 2.
                    C. Along with the same engineer i checked my 15 year old whirlpool and temp was 1.8c, on asked with him why is this the case, he said that a full time compressor with more electricity, samsung is optimised for electricity and hence it will be like this, why on earth will i care for electricity when fridge cant operate at sub 4c and i have paid 60k for it and food gets spoiled.
                    D. He again rudely brushed through saying inverter fridge is like this only and unless its above 11 there is nothing to fix, 11c? Thats not a refrigerator
                    E. He had called his office and they directed him to do couple of more test too which he conveniently ignored and left saying she to samsung this is false claim.

                    I am really fed up with samsung, its product and service. They start with assumption that customer is lying, no one will if everything is working fine and i have already paid for it.

                        I have purchased a refrigerator from samsung shop online website on june 30th 2020 and the product got delivered on july 13th 2020.

                        I have raised a demo installation on the same day, samsung representative visited my place and he is unpacked the product and i can see there is a dent on the top door of the product.
                        Due to current pandemic situation i have decided not to raise a return request as it may take huge time instead i have planned for replacement of the damage. For this i need to submit the invoice copy to service center.

                        But for the delivered product i have not received the invoice yet.
                        The invoice which is attached to the package has very poor printing and it is not at all visible with naked eye.
                        I have raised multiple requests by calling the below customer care number but still no one were able to provide me the invoice.

                        Am struggling with the customer care service, each person conveys different answers below are the few answers

                        For this i have already sent many mails but there is no response from them instead i get a auto reply mail which has below details in it

                        "for quicker redressal of your concerns related to orders placed online on samsung.com/in, please register a ticket at https://www.samsung.com/in/support/email/online-shop/ or call samsung toll free number[protected], ivr option 3."

                        When i click on the link it redirects me to fill a form. Upon filing up the form i click on the submit button and it gives me 400 error
                        —

                        Cc2- sir we are waiting for backend team response wait for 24-48 hours
                        —
                        Cc3- sir there is a reverse pickup request placed wait for 7 days

                        I have not raised any reverse pickup at all but samsung by itself without contacting me or replying to my mails they have updated some comments
                        —
                        Cc4- sir as per our portal status the product is delivered on july14th and invoice will be getting soon

                        —

                        Each customer care person conveys different responses to me.

                        And as per their policy if i don't submit the invoice to the local samsung authorized service center within 15 days then i am not eligible for the replacement of the door.

                        When i ask for next level of escalations they say there is no such process.

                        Hoping i would get a response and resolution to my concerns

                            Very much disappointed with the irresponsible behaviour facing since almost a month from samsung!! I complained about the motherboard failure of my 4 months old samsung brand new television in june.. Trying to follow up with the customer care service but all in vain.. Nobody is ‪willing to show up and take the responsibility... Its been more than 2 mnths now my tv is still not repaired. Request to all users plz never buy samsung products.

                                I wish to complain about the mishandling of my Samsung Mobile
                                that I have given for repair at Samsung authorized service center (Prateek Electronics opposite Mahatab Singh ka nohera near Kashiram circle, Alwar-301001)

                                I am complaining because of dissatisfied service and misbehaving customer support. I would like you to resolve my issue as soon as possible.

                                So I went to get my broken screen repaired and on the date of collecting it back from the service center, I noticed that the back was broken because of the mishandling of my handset by the enginers while repairing the display. The good part is that they admitted their mistake and promised me to repair the back as well. I contacted them after a week and they didn't pick up the call and when I went to the service center to check the status they behaved vary badly and besides being a Samsung employee (Bhuneswar parik)they told me that I could have got it repaired locally rather than coming to the service center, Also their tone was very bad and rude. Now they are delaying the repair by saying that the parts are not available at the moment. I would like a written statement explaining your company?s position and what you will do about my complaint.

                                So I had a word with one of your team members and they asked me to wait for atleast 3 days for their revert on my complain about mishandling of my Samsung mobile but it’s still not resolved and I am loosing my patience on this issue which I am facing. I also contacted the service centre but there was no update.

                                      Phone submitted to service center on 8th june, 2020 and have still not received job sheet. The service centre as confirmed no physical damage while submitting the phone and now technical team is sending an email of dent. Complete cheating is going on. Written to the service head and ceo but no positive response. Continuous email is going on from 1 month.

From Mira road customer service Ketan had called as said I 'll get the phone on 27th July, 2020 and today it's 6th August still not received. Within this period 3 times visited service center. Every time under process come tomorrow. On call it's repaired but service guys are not available. Today just informed will received on Saturday I.e 8th August.

                                        I had made a service complaint to samsung that my split ac was not cooling in may 2018. Representatives of the firm appointed by samsung india had visited on 5th may 2018. They said that there was no gas in the ac. I told them to do servicing as per the requirement. They told it would cost 1900/- for gas plus gst apart from 500/- call charges plus gst.

                                        They did the needful and charged rs 2832/- and issued me a cash receipt no 810 dt 5.5.2018 under the signature of sanjay kumar on behalf o[censored]nited airconditioning services centre l/g shop no 9, umang palace (Hotel windsor), exibition road, patna 80001.

                                        Since i was posted out of station the ac remained unused for a couple of weeks. When i was back home, i found that the ac was having the same problem. I called a local ac mechanic who checked the ac and informed that there was little gas in the ac. That was unbelievable since the gas was filled recently by samsung authorised servicing agent as named above. I took his statement with a pinch of salt. Since i had to be back soon i did not call the samsung customer care about this. After a couple of weeks i was back to patna. This time i called the customer care tollfree no. Again two personnel of the same samsung appointed serving agency men turned up. They were informed about the issue. They used their tools and said that the gas was not in sufficient quantity.

                                        I was shocked at revelation about the shortage of gas which amply demonstrated how the agents of samsung india were providing pitiable services to the gullible general public which considers such socalled authorised service agents representing samsung india to be professionally competent. I decided not to pay for the same services by not agreeing to their proposal for gas filling. This time i had to pay rs 295/ to united airconditioning services centre l/g shop no 9, umang palace (Hotel windsor), exibition road, patna 80001 vide cash receipt no s 165 dated 19.08.2019. One of the persons who had visited had disclosed his name as iqbal and gave his mobile no as [protected].

                                        I complained the matter to samsung india customer care whereupon one person named prateek singh called me from mobile no [protected] on 13th december 2019 in the forenoon. Since i had been out of station and had been awfully busy and since it was winter time i told him i will contact him.

                                        When summer came i contacted him i and reminded him and conveyed my grievance. He asked me to send me the bills to him on the same number through whatssapp. On receiving the same he said he said he could do nothing as gas was filled in may 2018 and was found to have leaked in august 2019.

                                        I asked him does ac gas escape so quickly if filled by qualified personnel to which he said nothing. He said he was helpless. I decided to talk to the owner of the said samsung appointed authorised ac servicing agency namely united airconditioning services centre l/g shop no 9, umang palace (Hotel windsor), exibition road, patna 80001.

                                        I procured his mobile number and called to convey him what ordeal was faced by me. His name is mr shahid anwar and mobile no is [protected]. To my utter surprise he quipped “you are approaching me after two years about the deficiency in services. Samsung does not give warranty beyong 90 days.” such a statement was made in a matter-of-fact way in a very irresponsible manner as he was making a generalised statement on service code for samsung customers on behalf of samsung itself. I told him that i shall be taking all appropriate legal steps against such deficiency in services to which he sharply reacted “are you threatening me?”. This made me terminate his call and i have decided to take this issue in consultation with consumer activists.

                                        People perceive services provided by such socalled authorised service providers of electronic giants to be comparable to the quality of such brands. The hard fact is that the company appointed servicing agents appoint mostly novices and young chaps who work for a paltry sum and ensure services which would not invite complaints within a period of 90 days. Those customers who complaint, are told “90 days deadline is over. If interested get servicing done once again”.
                                        My conclusions are :
                                        (1) samsung does not exercise control over the quality of services provided on their behalf by their authorised agents who earn a bad name to samsung.
                                        (2) the samsung officers who are supposed to monitor the quality of service provided by the company appointed agents are hand in gloves with such agents which results in pathetic conditions of consumers who believe in the myth of the quality of services provided by the authorised agencies at a high premium in total disregard to the local technicians / servicing mechanics who shall always stand to give a personal guarantee about their services.
                                        (3) customers should always prefer private service engineers to samsung appointed agents who are untrained and professionally irresponsible. This would save them money, avoid paying gst and have peace of mind which i have lost for having been cheated by the aforesaid authorised service agency.

                                        I would request samsung india to look into the matter and take appropriate steps by blacklisting such service providers like united airconditioning services centre l/g shop no 9, umang palace (Hotel windsor), exibition road, patna 80001 who have been cheating samsung customers.

                                        I am being asked by Samsung India about the ID No given by Samsung itself. Why dont you ask your own company.

                                        What action Samsung India is taking on the grievance registered ? They should communicate the action deemed fit to be taken having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case. In stead of lingering they should address themselves to this case which is an exemplary one since the people in general dont have the time to take the defaulters to task, People have learnt to ignore and cope with such events as companies tend to justify the bad workmanship of their business correspondents/facilitators acting on their behalf.
