I purchased a Samsung mobile handset, Model SGH C170 in Nov, 2007. My friends and relatives had advised me to go for a Nokia one, since that is a proven company. But I was impressed with Samsung mobile in terms of attractive looks, light in weight & tracking facility. Now I am fed up with this set. In Jan, 2008, the base (socket) where charging & earphone pins are inserted, was broken. I surrendered the handset to a local service centre in Pune. They turned a deaf ear to my request for a temporary set. They sent the handset to Mumbai for repairs. I was told that, due to my wrong handling, the base is broken and I was charged for Rs. 70/-. To my surprise, again in Mar, 2008, the same problem occurred. As of date (4th Apr, 2008) of writing this complaint on this portal, the set is in their custody and I have been asked to wait for next 10 days and that too without providing any spare handset to me. Apart from this faulty set, their service centre people in Pune are very arrogant and non-cooperative. I made several complaints with the Product Support Dept. through e-mail and toll free number in Nov, 2007 itself and later on also, but all in vain. I have suggested them to call back these handsets from the market as it was done by Nokia for its faulty batteries, but Samsung is careless about its customers. Apart from this major problem in this handset, there are some other technical problems. The volume of the handset is set at 1 to 5 levels, which is inadequate when you are in crowded places like bus / train / market etc. Its reception and transmission power also seem to be very weak because several times, I have lost my calls. Now I am convinced that all that glitters is not gold. But now I am a scapegoat. So, it is my friendly advice to the customers that before going for any Samsung products, think 100 times. This is the Company that will put you in a great trouble once they fetch your money.

I have bought samsung AC on sunday.The shop owner said tht he will send a man to install the same in the same day afternoon.
But noone turned up.Then we thot to call samsung directly and then we have launced a call the next day.they also told tht their engineer will come the same say.But noone turned up till now...
But the customer care exe. are commiting tht their engineers will be coming..
We have bought lot of samsung products thinking tht their service will be good.But its really worst.
The AC is lying out waiting for the engineer to install it.
I dont know when he will come.
Please let me know how to proceed
