i had bought 1.5 ton window ac in dec 07 from Asha and company -allahabad. the ac was used only in apr.on 10 may the ac stopped cooling.i contacted the service centre and they promptly sent someone to see it.i was told that compressor was faulty.no complains so far.it is now 12 may and service centre has still not picked up the ac for repair. they say they dont have the vehicle to do the same. will someone look into it. the ac is in warranty period.

    I have bought a samsung dvd system nearly 7 months ago and i have repaired it from sumsung sevice centre at least 4 times. i am fed up of such a product and want to advice everyone not to buy any of the products from samsung make.

      I had purchased the D 840 mobile phone five months ago. The display beagan to flicker last week, yesterday horizontal bands began to appear on the display. I took it to the service centre at Navi MUmbai M/s Sky electronics who tried to fool me by saying that the display was cracked due to the handset falling down. Since I was sure that I ad not dropped the handset, I asked the technician to show me the craked display after oepneing the handset. He opened it and then said that there was no crack but there was some traces of liquid ! Since again I was sure that I had never spilt water on it, I challenged the opinion.Then he said that it was possibly sweat ! In any case the service centre refused to replace the display saying that I would have to pay Rs 1750/- as the cost.
      The company is trying to fool the customers and denying the warranty under false pretexts.

        We have purchased the Samsung Split AC Model No: 18FA from Jayam & Co (Chennai)on 13.05.07. Within a year it given a lot of problems and we had given the complaint to the Jayam & Co, but they have not given the proper response us. So we have registered our first complaint on 18.4.07 to direct samsung Customer Care and it was attended by your Service Centre (M/s. Sanwee), that too only after our serveral phone calls. They did not responded us and it took a week to solve the problem. But it does not solved, only two days it had worked after rectification. We have faced the same problem. Then we made again the complaint directly to the Samsung and they given us the same complaint No. Again we made many phone Calls to Samsung customer care and Sanwee. They took long time to attend the problem. After deducting the problem they are not solving the problem till now. If we ask them they are telling that they will come today, tommorrow but they are not coming. We are very very sorry to say that your customer care service was not satisfied.
        I am having problem with my split A/C bought in Nov 2007. It was not cooling and the engineering section genetle man said that it is due to gas leak and filled the gas. For couple of days it was okay. Now again it not cooling. When we ring up the srvice centre at Chennai, The response is cold. No reply and when one gets upset at the delay, they send someone and finish the job without going deep into the problem. We are aware that it is the summer season and the work load is more. Is it because that it is within the warrenty status that the respose is poor. I am sure the authorities are aware that during summer they have to be on toes and satisfy the customer. WE EXPEXT BETTER CO- ORDINATED WORK FORCE TO TACKLE SUCH PROBLEMS.

          I made a comlaint with your custmor care deptt.vide comlaint no [protected] on dateed 5.5.2008. our a.c. is not working well n not cooling very well. your mechnice had visited our place n found the fault . After that he told me that he will come tommarrow n repair the same. But he did not return till date.This is not like the way to attend comlaint in this .Now can you send your mechnice to repair our a.c.

            i have purchased a samsung refrigerator on 15.7.2001.
            on 20.4.2008 it was not working there was no cooling effect inside the refrigerator so i lodged a compliant with you on
            21.4.2008 under compliant no [protected] After two days and after my continuous follow up the engineer from hi tech solutions, anna nagar east, chennai came on 23.4.2008 and informed that the compressor had gone and it should be replaced He also informed that if i give consent immediately it will be replaced on the next day itself. Since being the summer season, it is very difficult to manage without fridge, I gave my consent immediately But the people came only on 26.4.2008 and replaced the compressor and charged me Rs.5233/- Exactly after one week, i.e. on 2.5.2008 again the cooling effect had gone and the fridge was not working I was very much shocked and immediately lodged the compliant with your toll free help line on 3.5.2008 morning itself I also asked hi tech solutions, in turn informed that since the it has gone out of order within one month's time, they themselves will come and rectify the same immediately. But there was no response. I contacted the toll free number daily and at last 7.5.2008 one engineer from hitech solutions came and informed that the gas is leaking It will be rectified free of cost and the persons will be coming on the next day itself and rectify the same. But till today no one has turned to rectify the same I am very much upset with the services provided by you I request you to look into the matter and solve my problem also instruct the hitech solutions to give speedy response to customers compliants
            I am facing this problem since 17/10/08 till date the engineer did not attend the complaint. I contacted the toll free number daily twise or thrise. till date it is not attended.
            I have samsung color tv, it's 3 years old, The color of the screen changes into green color fully, I made a compliant to Toll free no to samsung customer care, and thery fwd the compliant to Villivakkam branch, After 15 day one technician NAME : VALLUVAR SELVAM came to my home, He did something the problem not rectified but he told it will be rectified tomorrow and collect the bill amount, The problem is not rectified till now, I made a complian to TEAM MANAGER : SURESH He also not responding properely,

              Length of cooling and gas pipe

              the split ac is installed and the distance between indoor and outdoor unit is only 2m but the length of the cooling and gas pipe is 5m. the service enginner refused to cut the pipes and extra length of pipe is round folded and placed near out door unit. does it affecting the cooling system? the cooling is not efficicient. kindly do the needful....

              i sreekanth.singaraju Purchased Samsung split ac 1.5 ton model AS18NAXTL .from day one I am facing problems, I lave been keep on complaining to the service people and customer care for several times but no one responded to me and they are giving reckless answers to me. today I went to the dealer and complain to him about the problem I am facing, he personally spoke to the Samsung people and told me they will come to my hose today.as he said your people has come to my house and check the product and said there is a leakage in compressor which is a manufacturing defect .i told to them I want this product to be replaced with new one.
              I have been keep on complaining to you people, unless a dealer takes action on you, you will not be responding to customer .this shows the irresponsible towards the customer .If my product is not replaced with new on with in 2 days of time, I will be filing case in consumer cort. so kindly take proper action in this case.

                WE PURCHASED ONE A/C OF 1.5 TON ON 1ST APRIL 2008 FROM SAMSUNG DEALER SUN SHINE ELECTRONNICS INDORE.THERE BILL NO IS 900.ON 2 ND APRIL THEY INSTAL THAT AC TO OUR HOUSE.
                FROM 4 TH OF APRIL THAT AC IS NOT WORKING . WE COMPLAINT THE DEALER ON 6 TH APRIL AND THEN AGAIN REGISTER COMPLAINT TO SAMSUNG SERVICE CENTER ON 9TH APRIL.                 I had purchased an ULTRA SLIM 29" SAMSUNG TV with Model 29A730, S.No. 1378 from M/S MAHESH ELECTRONICS, JWALAPUR, HARIDWAR (UTTRAKHAND) INDIA with scratch card scheme. I was promised that the scratch card would be given to me in 2-3 days. But till date even after making numerous phone calls and personal visits to the dealer, I have not been given the scratch card. Every time when I call on to him, he would make the same promise that the scratch would be given to me in a couple of days.

                I want to mention few points:-
                1. After the said complaint, your engineer worked for 3days to find out the fault in the transmission system of gas after dismantling the unit but he did not find any fault .
                2. On 16.9.2008, he told me that the compressor is not working and as Compressor is under guarantee
                ( Purchase date 15.7.2007) it will be replaced with a New Compressor.
                3. The outer unit was Transported in a Cycle Rickshaw, next day in which washing machine, micro oven, were already present.
                4. That day they wanted to take indoor unit also but it was raining we refused it that moment asked them to send proper vehicle to take indoor unit, as indoor unit consist of chips, circuit which will be damage by rain. Again in the night about 7 pm they came and they covered it with plastic cover, & took it in a cycle rickshaw.( i have photo of taking split unit in cycle rickshaw)
                5. When both indoor & outdoor units were brought on 18.9.2008, its fins were completely crushed in an are of 4-6 inches in right lower part. When the engineer came to install the unit, we told him that our original unit was not damaged but, as it has come in cycle Rickshaw, it must the damaged on the way.
                6. The outer unit was taken back on 19.9.2008 & was replaced with one which further had¬¬¬ more damaged fins.
                7. We refused to accept the unit till 23.9.2008 Now I request you to provide me a unit with New fins and Compressor because you have replace with an old fins from a unit from your office. As this unit is 1year and 2 months old hence you are requested to replace it with a new unit by ignoring the ex two months of warranty, We request either change damage part (grills) of both outer & inner unit other wise I may have to approach an appropriate forum at your cost.

                We Purchased an A/C from 1.5 tonne from Sawhney Electronics in Lucknow on 11 June, 2008. Model no-AS18FKXTL & CODE IS -A321P2BQ505898H
                The problem with my AC was there was so much noise in the AC that as if we are running an air cooler, so we contacted the agency to rectify the problem immediately, but there was no speedy action towards it.
                Now in the present scenario after talking to the agency they sent the engineer or worker many a times so my AC has been opened 16 times still problem could not be cured. It created so much problem that sometimes my guest were sitting in the drawing room and we had to remove them, that is very shameful.

                Mr Pramod Sharma who is the manager in the zone for Samsung do not know how to talk to the customer and he is being very irresponsible to handle the situation like this and also your distributor Mr Sawhney is the same. When we complain they say the problem is in stalling and the other say that the problem is with the internal machinary, now the condition is such that the problem is tossing between the two rather being resolved.
                We being the customer are unaware of the problem but you people should take care of it. Please replace my AC because it has already being opened sixteen times now we dont want useless follow-ups !PLEASE!!! WHEN WE RECIEVED THE AC FOR THE first TIME THE OUTDOOR UNIT WAS DENT BUT STILL WE KEPT IT.

                I am also working in one of the biggest MNC and customer are the first priority as per my knowledge because we are also dealing with the situation sometime and resolve their problem within one day so same is expected out of a company like Samsung and tell your people to take up things with some responsibility and seriousness,

                Please take speedy action so that my drawing room would be like my drawing room.
                Rectify the problem please so that experience of taking an AC from SAMSUNG would not turn out to be bad.

                my AC was having poor cooling so it was taken to and repaired by authorised service centre located at Benajhabar kanpur, vide Call/Wc No. [protected]. AC was transported on an ordinary rickshaw on account of which the front fins have been damaged.

                This I could only see when after making the payment the AC was delivered to me back at my residence.

                I am very annoyed and disappointed by Samsung poor state of affairs and poor customer care.

                I am also a victim of Samsung product. I have problem with the split AC which is of poor quality and there is no after sale service by Samsung. I advice my friends, who has hard earned money, not to buy ant samsung product.
                I have two spilt AC`s Model :- AS18FK & AS18FJ both are in my office for last month both are not working having the problem with there compressors .Before 20 days one AC got change there compressor but still that AC is not working properly and the second AC are still on same conditions not working . Regarding the same i have complaints hell of time but no response yet come from your side .you can check my complaints details. And here the local service center is the worthless center that i have ever contact . Since 20 days they said the compressor are not in stock. what is this ? Tell me what i`ll do OR where i can go to get the best and soon solution of my problem ?
                On 04/06/2009, I purchased samsung split ac 1.5 ton (crystal wine ), model no. AS18EFB for Rs. 28, 490 Invoice No.920 from samsung plaza ( Prop. United Electronics ), Rattan Tower, Namdev chowk, Circuit House Road, Jalandhar 144001, Punjab, India .

                Samsung Split A/C — Month old a/c not working

                I bought a Samsung split a/c at Vivek's Adyar (Chennai) on April 19th. It was installed and shown to be working. I went out of station on the 22nd and returned on the 8th. On my return, I found the a/c was not working. On 9th I registered a complaint with Viveks at Adyar. Till today, my complaint has not been attended to. Not only that, everyday I have been calling them up and find I am put onto a different irresponsible person, who promises to call back or send someone immediately, but does not do either. Uday, Kumar, Venkatesh, Velmurugan are some of the people I spoke to. Today I spoke to someone else who said the manager was out of station and the asst-manager was at the HO, but he did not have the no of the HO! I tried calling Vivek's at Mylapore hoping to get a better response. But it seems Vivek's is filled with inefficient, irresponsible people. The man I spoke to told me everyone at Viveks' was busy in a meeting and disconnected the phone.
                Should I go to the consumer forum?

                On 30/07/2009, I purchased samsung split ac 1.5 ton, model no. AS18ETA for Rs. 26, 000 from universal sales, near city kotwali, Raipur-492001, Chhattisgarh, India .
                Within three month of period it was repaired two times and finally it stopped working and i have claimed for replacement but after two three weeks im still geting same response that within 2-3 days it will be replaced, but no action has being taken yet . I am very disappointed with service of samsung . And i also thing thats it is the company which provides WORST PRODUCT & MOST WORST SERVICE.

                I have bought one window AC in the month of Aug'09.The AC is not cooling at all.
                For the past two days I am calling up your Customer care to send someone so that it can be rectified.But to my surprise and shock every time they give me assurance that some engineer will visit us and it will be rectified.I have given atleast 5-6 calls but its of no use.

                Is this the service you provide to a client? Its a pathetic service I have ever received in FMCG product.In my best of knowledge I will never buy any Samsung Product nor I will advise anyone to buy Samsung product.

                Subject : POOR PRODUCT , Very SLOW RESPONSE & ACTION

                Dear Sir / Madam,

                This is in regards to Case No : 1597870 dt.12/06/10 for consistent problem in Split A.c. Despite of rectifing 3 times , the problem remains there & ultimately they asked to take refund. Even after 45 days , the Area Service Manager (Mr.Naimesh Joshi - [protected]) & Mr.Hiren Patel ([protected]) had been talking for the fake promises. Previously, also for Automatic Washing M/c, same things had happened. I had decided not buy any SANSUNG Products in the future & spread word of Mouth to the friends & relatives too !!!

                Agree fully. Service of Samsung towards repairs very poor. I have given a compalint for my Split a/c more than 10 days ago. Still no one has attended. If we call them up they say we will tell you when we are coming. The purpose of buying the commodity is lost if we cannot use it.

                On 03/09/2010 your authorised sales & service dealer M/s.Saffron Air A-5/6/7,Doctor House,Near Parimal Railway Crossing,Ellisbridge,Ahmedabad-380006.
                has done some repairing work & charge Rs. 4,900/= vide In. No. 131 dt. 03/09/2010
                in which Circuit Repairing charges were charged as Rs. 2,500/=.
                Here after we have not use this A.C.

                The said A.C.was not functioning,so after our complain they had come & charged again Circuit Repairing charges.In my holelife I have never heared about
                this kind of charges.

                In my absence thier person came to my house & recovered money from my wife,the same work which was done before & already they have charged.This
                charges were Rs. 1,600/= vide In.no. 18 dt. 29/04/2011.

                So,kindly look into the matter seriously & reply.

                  dear sir,
                  I had purchased a samsung ac 1.5 ton model num AWT18QKAXTL last year in the month of May 07.eversince i have purchased this particular model i have only been facing problems with the model.within a month of my purchase of the ac i had to approach the service centre with performance problems and my compressor was changed.subsequently they changed my circuit board and then the thermostat.somehow i managed to pull through the summer season which are very severe in saharanpur and surrounding areas, with minor problems.on completion of the winter season which are also very severe i decided to start using my ac in the month of apr 08.however immdiately the ac started giving me problems.this time the service centre from saharanpur would not address my probs stating that they did not have service engineers available to address my problems forthwith.one person from the saharanpur service centre even went on to pass a lewd comment stating that if you buy things they are bound to break down.subsequently after speaking to the regional service centre head at ghaziabad, the saharanpur service centre sent an engineer to address my complaint almost after 2 weeks of time. this time i was told that the fan motor of the ac has stopped functioning and hence they require to replace that particular part. replacement of the ibid part took almost a weeks time and the day it was replaced within 2 hrs the ac again started emanciating a foul odour which was my complaint at the very beginning of the summer season.now this time inspite of calling the shaharanpur service centre i gave a complaint call to samsung customer care centre and have lodged a complaint. my complaint number is [protected]. i have my doubts if this issue is going to be resolved soon as i found the response from the representative attending the call not very hopeful.in a ac which is hardly a year old, change of all major parts only means that the ac is a defective piece manufactured by samsung.i have been harping on replacement to the service centres due to the change in all its major assembly parts less the gas pipes and the outer cover, and feel fully justified in doing so. i have been mentally harassed for the entire month of april and now it is almost mid may. the summer season here is a prolonged summer season of almost 06 months and i feel that samsung service centres are not taking adequate steps to resolve my problems and because of which i am being mentally harrassed due to lack of sleep and my performance at my work place as an Army Officer has visibily reduced. i strongly feel justified in saying that i should be given a ac replacement at the earliest by the samsung company.may i request the consumer forum to please address the issue and help me to this effect.

                  The unit supplied to us was with poor packing, out door unit was with big dents, without remote, cables & fitting was missing in this unit. This message was informed to customer care & ponnmoney on 16th July 2008 itself they assured that unit will be replaced shortly vide the compliant No.[protected] and some body from concerned department will call you shortly.



                  In view to above no one from neither Samsung nor ponnmoney turned up. I get a feeling of that I have selected a bad product through useless dealer.



                  I would like to inform you that your dealers M/s.Ponnmoney marketing Private Limited, Chennai – 600 029 not responding to the customer complaints. I little bit annoyed how Samsung making a big blunder in selecting a distributors. No one is picking the phone in ponnmoney or they ask me to call after an hour for the status. This is the reply I get from Samsung. They gave their MD Mr.Ramesh Phone No.[protected]/[protected] Land Line No.[protected]/ 23742885 but he not ready to pick my call after sending SMS. If a MD is like this you can think how their workers will be. I also want to share few words about his employee Mr.Balasubramanium. He doesn’t give respect to any customers. This true you can just search about Ponnmoney Marking Company in google site you can get many details what I mean to say.



                  Please be noted that from the above the message very clear that if the unit not replaced with in a day then I want my money refund back i.e.;

                  I totally agree with the complaints that have been made about Samsung.
                  My boyfriend and I purchased a 52 inch 1080 DLP TV from Best Buy and even
                  bought extended warranty.
                  We start to notice that we are getting a dip in out TV that is getting really noticable. We call Best Buy and they advise us in the first year we need to deal directly with Samsung. We call Samsung and they tell us a technician is going to be out as soon as possible. It takes a week for a Technician to come to the house, and he can't seem to fix the issue. He let's us know that he will come back a second time and try something new. ( of course these are during working hours, so we are taking time off from work) and the second time he comes, he replaces a few parts and it seems like it almost made it worse, almost unwatchable. He leaves, and calls us to tell us that he needs to take PICTURES for samsung to see and come back and measure the DIP because it has to be a big dip for samsung to replace it. Unbelievable! We have a dip in the TV that a Customer is complaining about, fix the damn issue, or replace it.
                  He comes back again! and then 3 weeks later, after us constantly emailing him with no responce. He writes us to tell us our replacement TV is in. No appologize on the delay, not getting back to us, nothing.

                  There is no where on the site to post complaints, that is another complaint I have.. The company should have somewhere that people can stress their concerns in order to make a better company. I am honestly thinking of selling my TV just to have Samsung out of my life incase something happens to the replacement and I have to watch a dipped TV for another month.

                  Samsung — Non performance of A/C

                  I have purchased one Samsung make split a/c 1.5 T from Vijay sales , Abhishek, S.V.Road, Andheri (W), Mumbai on 25/04/2010 vide Sales Invoice no;- 03-AN04-10SIAOUF 60, INVOICE DATE 26/04/2010,ORDER NO - 03-AN04-10S0900. (Sales Invoice copy attached herewith)

                  The above machine was delivered to me on 27/04/2010.

                  The above machine as per Samsung executive who visited our residence on 28/04/2010 was to be installed on 29/04/2010. I waited for their person to come and install till 15.30 Hrs. Since they did not turn up I called Viay sales who asked me to wait (leaving my work) and said that their mechanic will come at about 18:00 Hrs

                  The mechanics / engineers Name :- Rahul & Sahid contracters of Samsung came to my residence after many phone calls to install the same on 29/04/2010 at approx 18.00 Hrs. They tried to install the same till 23.00 Hrs but to no avail, due to some leakage problem. They promised to come back the next day and solve the problem at 10.00 (i.e :- on 30/04/2010).but did not turn up. Again after many phone calls to Vijay sales and after many heated arguments with their executive Mr Nitin who was very rude who again asked me to wait at home for their mechanics to come at their own will. When I refused It was decided that the mechanics will visit my residence at approx 10.30 Hrs on 03/05/2010 complete the job and start the machine latest by 12.00 Hrs on 03/05/2010 fully functional.

                  However on 03/0/2010 their mechanic inspite of their efforts were unable to start the machine as there was no cooling as it was found that the machine`s Outdoor unit was faulty due to some major problem. After many arguments again it was decided the outdoor unit will be replaced by a new on which was done on 10/05/2010 but as there was some leakage in the indoor unit the machine could not be put on. Again their Engineer visited our residence on 11/05/2010 and stopped the leakage and the machine was put on. But to my horror and bad luck again there is some problem and there is no cooling from the machine as on 12/05/2010.
                  The personal in Vijay Sales Ms Deepika is not ready to take my complaint and the Samsung Service centre person are not ready to give me writing about the problem.

                  With the ref to the above, I have purchased a Samsung split AC date : 03/05/2010 from Kohinoor Televideo pvt ltd
                  After making so many call at your service center regarding service of my AC on 7/03/2011 a service person arrived to my house He opened the indoor unit while there was no reason to open it instead of repeating request by my family member for not opened the AC indoor unit.But he could not listen and opened the indoor unit of AC and after wards he could not able to fixed it and he opened it 4 to 5 times repeatedly to refixed it properly and while doing this he broke one of the part of my AC unit and also he has not fixed the fan properly nad also swing is also not working .This was my first service
                  Now the indoor unit of AC seem to be “0” value.it seems that the AC is as old as five year back.
                  I had requested to replace the Indoor unit of my AC with new sealed packed AC at the earliest.
                  but they are not bodered even the manager of the branch is saying that warranty period is for that purpose so we wil do the repair work for that ac.why i should do the repair work the fault is from the there side

                    Respected Sir/Madam,

                    I had purchased Samsung TFT Monitor 153V in 2003 or 2004. At present this product becomes dead due to fault in its power supply IC. So we give it our nearest Samsung Service Centre at Nasik named Shri Ganesh Electronics.

                    But after 2 months long period, they didn't make any satisfactory work. We had make them full payment for the faulty part of my product two times, and had spend alot via travelling. But your Service centre didn't make any good work. Then we think to replace our faulty monitor with a new advanced TFT Monitor (Samsung) but we shocked to hear the sounds that they (service centre) told us that in new product of samsung TFT monitor, there is so much problems in its display.

                    So what to do now. I have spend atleast 4000/- Indian Rupees. If I count some amount in this 4000/- there we can buy new TFT monitor.

                    So what to do now, reply me soon.

                    I have purchased samsung monitor. i found a lot of problems, so i complained to samsung service center in chennat at anna nagar branch. After a long time (nearly 5 month) they gave a new monitor. In the meanwhile i visited the anna nagar branch for nearly 30 times, but no one response well. But now again i have found the same display problems. i make call to samsung monitor service center for nearly 10 times, ring is going on but no one pick up the call. Here after i will not call again. I am totally dissatisfied. I had never found this kind of bad services from any other product.

                    I am very disappointed by Samsung service centre at INDORE. I had given my samsung monitor for repair. First of all they have kept it for 20 days and they dont even update us with the status.They misbehaved.

                    And worst thing is something that has put a question mark on the credibility of SAMSUNG... They are not able to repair it and THEY HAVE TAKEN OUT SOME PARTS OF IT.. and i came to know about it wen i take it to other vendor. He told me that he can repair it if i will get those parts back..but samsung guys refuse to help us out..

                    They are ready to sell the products but not coming forward for Service............pathetic. I am really now pitying myself how I have fallen for this product instead of warnings from my well wishers. Gave continuous complaint calls on a no provided by the showroom people but they are postponing it day after day. PLEASE HELP ME .... PLEASE HELP ME .............

                    PLEASE LOOK FOR GOOD SERVICE BEFORE BUYING ANY PRODUCT...............Do not buy SAMSUNG products and CHELLAMANI & CO because the service is poor as evident in my case.

                      i bought samsung refigerator from faridabad on 2006, after 2 years it does not cooling well i made a complaint ( [protected]) enginer come to my house from the company they tell gas is leaking, (this means compresor fault) they want 900 RS for refilling it but compersor have 20 months warranty so why should i pay for that.

                        i purchased a samsung ctv, model no.-29A730 on 5th May 2008 from M/S Bharat Electronics, Ranchi, the samsung dealer in Ranchi, India.just after installation we all felt electric current passing through the cabinet of the ctv at the outskirts of screen.The dealer is not taking proper attention in this regard.They are not ready to replace it.In fact they are reluctant to send their engineer to repair it.Not even for 2 minutes we enjoyed tv vewing, we had found ourselves in such a great unrest of our mental peace.

                          I bought a Samsung Bio sleep One ton Spilt AC in the month of April 08, It as very sparingly used and before the month was over the cooling stopped. We called up the customer care on the 30th of April hoping that as per the SLA they would get back and take care of it or at least call up and check want the problem was. Little did we expect that the service would be so shameful had we known this we would have NEVER made the mistake of going for a Samsung AC when today we live in a buyer’s market with many options and excellent service.

                          We spent the next whole week making numerous calls and spoke with various people with out any result at all however you were very prompt to send out the BP NO:[protected] …What were we to do with this number as it brought forth no result at all.

                          Finally after many more calls and threats we had one engineer who came in today he could not really diagnose the fault and then informed us that he would need to take the outdoor unit back as he was not from the install team and only an engineer he could not dismantle it. We then waited for another two hours for the install team to come and uninstall it . They then did the needful and left it in our hall as they were not from the transport team…
                          After many more calls once again with various people from various depts, the transport team finally arrived after another 5 hours and took the equipment .Currenlty we have no status as to what the issue is and when we will see it again…

                          My husband and I have lost two working days in the process and have decided to make sure and advice any and every one around us that they never make the mistake that we did BUY ANYTHING ELSE except A Samsung.

                          I hope something constructive is going to come out of this as well I feel that as a responsible buyer I should do my duty and send this mail.


                          Please help me if there is any number or email address of any one in authority as I would like to cancel this product and install an LG

                            I purchased a samsung mobile model No. SCH-S229 C. NO. 18D6FFFE on 16.06.2007 from New Delhi on a genuine bill 10 months back and the phone is still under warranty. Now it is dead automatically, when i went to the 513, FIE Patparganj Indl. Area, Ground Floor, New Delhi - 110 092 service centre New Delhi to get it repaired, they refused it saying that one of its internal (ICs) part have been damaged and you have to make the payment of Rs. 1600/- . I asked them that I have purchased this mobile at the cost of Rs. 1000/- only and if it is in warranty period then why I have to make the payment but the people there at the service centre didn't behave properly with me. This is really disgusting looking at the image of the company like Samsung.

                              I have bought a Samsung Air Conditioner from Gaurav Distributors, 5-A, Taj Road, Sadar Bazar, Agra (Authorised Samsung Dealer), on 25/04/08, & they committed to provide free installation of it in my office (Sharda Enterprises, UG-1 & 2, 1st Floor, Merchant Chamber, Sadar Bazar, Agra-282001), but till now no one has came from the Company to install my A.C. I had also complained thrice on support.[protected]@samsung.com. My first complaint was on 27/04/08, Second was on 28/04/08 & third was on 02/05/08. But they didn't took any strict action against this. So, you are requested to take some Legal Action against them.

                              I lodged a complaint yesterday afternoon regarding non-cooling effect of our Split A.C. but your representative has not rechaed so far. I tried his number 8/10 times and even i spoke to your franchisee at Alwar(Mr. Pathik) regarding this but no action seems to have been taken so far, the same thing, he will reach within 15 minutes.

                              Although, i had lodged the complaint on 19th April, 2008 regarding the same problem but that time, your representative came and repaired it but within 10 days time, the same has occurred again and i directly contacted your representative (Mr. Subhash Saini) to get it repaired on 30th April, 2008. From 30th April to 6th May, i don't think samsung has got that much of work pressure that he could not attend a call in 6 days time.

                              My complaint (BP) no. is [protected].
                              I had bought samsung AC. was working well for one year. Then there was a free service camp and we thought its good to opt for that. The service provider from Gurgaon had send one supposed to be engineer (Mr. Sunil)who deliberately did some thing to our fan and sound started coming after the free servicing. When we contacted him he came and told that the fan needs to be replaced and he would do it un-officially at lower price. Such fools are screwing the company's image and should be bought to book. The company to is sleeping and the call center idots are sending the same mR. SUNIL WHO IS A CROOK.
                              God help this company and my suggestion is pl. do not go for such free servicings this is my third experience.
                              Microwave oven, washing machine same experience.

                              Samsung Air Conditioners — Job unattended

                              I had purchased samsung a/c in September 2007. Last month they had come for the routine service which was half done. The top cover was not fixed properly and air was leaking from that end. I immediately called up Viveks Service Centre in Chennai, Tamil Nadu from whom I purchased the a/c. They said they are sending their person but till now nobody was bothered to look at the complaint. They had given me a new job number, 133494, for routine service 2 weeks back but again nobody had turned up. So are these people good in only giving job numbers and do they know how to work? I don't understand why a prestigious organisation like Samsung are blind towards such service providers in the country. Are they interested in only selling their product promising services by mouth and never look into it in future?

                              I have bought Samsung Biofresh 1 ton Aircontioner and installed on 05th April 08. Airconditioner worked fine for 15 days and cooling effect came down drastically. I have lodged a complaint with Service Center and I came to know that Gas leakage as per the Service Engineer. Service personnel told that the A/c to be taken to Service Center and they took 4 days to take the A/c from my residence ie on May 19th 08. Since then there is no response from the Service Center till date. As such, if i call the toll free number they use to say that Service Engineer will call you within 2 hours. This was happening for the past 10 days. I have never expected this kind of response from Samsung. Better stop selling Airconditioners if Samsung is not capable of giving at least better service.                               I could see the same type of complaint which I am facing but yet to know whether this forum is effective enough to take action against the company or service provider.

                              The response which I got from samsung call centre and the service engineer is the worst I have ever seen. I understand Samsung is least worried about after sales service of their product. I lodged a complaint on 7th Mar 09 and today is 4 Apr 09 which is almost a month but still suffering with the same problem.
                              As a user, we can spread the word that samsung is busy in advertising and sponsoring cricket matches.. it better to buy some other company products who is good at productiin and service rather than these big companies who are least bothered for this kind of complaints.

                              It is to inform that I Vasikarla Sreekanth, Branch Head of STORM Consultancy, situated at Mayuri Complex, Beside Andhra Bank, Nakkalgutta, Hanamkonda, Warangal Dt., gave a call to your Technical Executive Mr.Venkat (Mob No.[protected]) regarding my Spilt 1.5 Tonne A.C. repair, he came along with his assistant Mr.Raju and told to me that there is problem in capacitor and asked Rs.1000/- for that I gave. I happened near about 15 days back, after 15 days back he came with one Capacitor and then he told that there is a problem in Compressor, actually he doesn’t know the exact problem and he is simply playing with me. From that day neither he is answering my phone calls nor rectifying the problem of my A.C.

                              I request you to treat this as my personnel complaint against your Samsung Service Centre, Hanamkonda and the Technical Executive Mr.Venkat. If my A.C. is not going to rectified within 7 days (i.e., on 4th of May, 2009) from the lodge of this complaint, I am going to give a petition in the nearby Police Station on 420 case, cheating me by taking money without any receipt.

                              I m agree with u regarding poor service quality of Samsung Team & product... Only 2 weeks back i purchased an AC and one Refrigerator from one the dealer in Delhi. When it reached home i saw dent in the upper door of the refrigerator. same day two guys came for installing the AC, but installed without any support of wooden beads or like that... when turned on the AC it was not working... they told AC is faulty and to be replaced. After lodging the complaint one service engineer came after 3 days and told AC is ok, but have problem with installation. He didnt give any report for that... Again i contacted the dealer to rectify the installation. he came after few more days .. finally he said installation is ok, problem is with AC and should be replaced. When i contacted the dealer for that he gave the contact number of area service incharge ... when i spoke to him he said they can only repair the AC in their service centre... when i objected saying it is brand new AC and went to the dealer again and again for few days, and used tough words, he sent only the inner unit of AC only, without any packing or like that and took back the earlier unit with them... though that unit started working i dont even know whether it was a brad new AC or a new one... dont know who ll give that certificate, to whom to contact... SAMSUNG website dont even reflect the address of service centres.. dont reflect any email id of senior management to address these type of issues... I feel they dont bother even 1 % of the customer satisfaction... they dont know where they r, and where they r going... whoever suffered these type of problems, nobody knows where and whom to complain ...Samsung dont deserve to be a international brand... local brands r better than Samsung, bcoz before purchasing u might think u might get cheated... SAMSUNG is cheating every consumer...everyday... whoever is planning to purchase SAMSUNG product, BEWARE !!!

                              I bought SAMSUNG air con sometime January this year in Samsung outlet at City Centre. The after sales service sucks. Have been having problems with it ever since the day of installation. Samsung in India is just not trustworthy.
                              When will Samsung India ever improve? With reference to my earlier feedback, I bought the Samsung AC model AS10FCAN from a Samsung outlet at City Centre, Salt Lake in Kolkata.

                              It was all wrong right from day one. As usual empty promises made during the promotions and sales.

                              I made a complaint today coz my AC just wouldn't turn on. Not being an engineer or a technician for such appliances (of course a profession of better remuneration), I fell back on thre service centre (good ole[protected] had to affix 033 coz i'm in the worst metro city of India - the city of 'joy', so they say, KOLKATA!!!) But whats new, they promised to turn up today before 8 pm - compliant made in the afternoon. Cancelled all my plans and stayed home. Made a second call at 6 and reminded them. The Samsung operator told me to be patient and they will come before 8. Made a third call at 7.35 pm and wanted to speak to the manager and guess what they said, he will call me just before 8 pm. What a load of crap!! The manager did not call, the technician did not turn up,

                              What can I say? They are living up to the natural standards of the development of India. If India is still at this stage (third world country), so should all other subsidiaries!!!

                              Jaage Raho (from Tata Tea), Chalte Raho (from Green Plywood), all perfect commercials for this country! And to the slums of India, just sing 'Jai Ho'!!!

                              Never ever ever in your right frame of mind, purchase any Samsung product if you're in Kolkata. On second thoughts, after reading all comments from other purchasers from all over India, dont buy Samsung at all if you're living in India.
                              Its the second day now and still no sight of the repairman. A technician named Gautam spoke to me at 10 am and told me that my problem will be solved by 12 pm. 12 came, no Gautam, 1pm, no Gautam, 2 pm, I called the service centre yet again (8 times now - [protected]) and they told me that a manager will call me (the same old classic line) but he didnt. About 10 minutes later, our Gautam calls back and tells me that he is held up and will come only by 5 pm. I lost my cool and yelled at him . He then told me that he was in Sector 5, Salt Lake and that he will come in about half an hour. Lets see if he really does.

                              And still, during this whole ordeal, no manager has spoken to me besides their senior supervisor by the name of Jyoti Chopra who could do very little but remind the service technician to come by my place.

                              She was the only practical one who ran a mile extra by calling the service technician, Gautam.

                              i totally agree that Samsung AC's are the worst ac's with no service. It is a waste of your money to buy Samsung AC, coz there is no guarantee and warrranty, as to how many days it will function properly.

                              i too had bought a samsung AC some time back around 3 years, from the very next day it started giving problem, on calling the service centre, they very conveniently replaced it with an old ac... again battling for about a month, they sent a new AC... but till date, i have been spending more than 5000/- per year to keep this Ac functioning.. i guss it suites best in the TRASH bin...

                              I bought the Samsung 2.0 ton ac AS24FJXTL on[protected]. The samsung service center guys came to installl it. Now when i started using the AC this summer its not cooling. When i call samsung they sent people to look at the problem they came and said THE SPLIT AC OUTER UNIT WAS NOT INSTALLED PROPERLY and as its 1 year ans 2 month its out of warranty and will have to pay for that.

                              I say its . If they didnt install it properly its totally there fault and they got to get it fixed. Its there CRAP SAMSUNG service center guys fault fixing the outer unit of ac wrongly. I have booked several complaints and most of the times the senior official dont pick up the phone. I dont understand do they do it intensionally.

                              I am feed up with them. I want to book a complaint against them for fraud and 420.

                              Samsung — Non Functioning of air conditioner right from the date of installation

                              Dear Sir,
                              We have bought window ac AWT12ZKA (1 ton) from one of your reputed dealer at Chennai on 3.3.2009 vide their bill no:7590. Since the date of installation it functions erratically or to the least being very silent all the time. You can very well verify your regional complaint registry about the frequency of my complaints. To start with your engineers advised to restructure connection to three phase and later to install booster and now they stopped visiting us for service. Very recently we have registered our complaint on 5th may 2010 (ref No:[protected]) which was not at all cared to any basic response. All their claim is the service engineers are flooded with complaints and hence the delay. Just imagine once the service station is becoming hectic to such activities one may wonder about the product quality. We are senior citizens and hence we have decided to donate your AC to your registered office so that your trainee engineers will atleast learn how an AC should not function. It is quite unfortunate that this AC is a gift by my son to his elderly parents.

                              I bougth the samsung 2.0 ton split ac, AS24USB on, 9 april 2010 . Firstly within a month it stopped working complete gas from the outer unit was leaked and when i complained to the service center, none of the technician turned up within 4 days of complain and when the technician came, he attended the complain empty handed without any tool for leakeg, as i have already said in the complain that there is lekage.then after 2 days engineer came and repaired it and he said that the AC was not properly installed.Now again on 28 july 2010 the same problem again occured, and again i have to complain for same problem. Now the same problem is occured again so, i want my AC to be replaced and i want the explanation form the samsung electronics that why this problem has occured again. If my product will not be replaced as soon as possible, i have to complain to the CONSUMER COURT against samsung that the product which i have recieved is defective and I want the replacement as soon as possible...

                              I am also facing the problems due to samsung service centers wrong commitments.
                              I have a 1.5 ton window ac from samsung. It was not cooling, I complained at customer care. The person came and after diagnosing told that it is due to leakage of gas and it will cost 1526 Rs for rectifying. The next day he called up and told that coil is damaged and it will cost 5000 Rs. I felt cheated. I was in dilemma what to do... I called up him next morning at 10:00 am. I asked him to return the ac. He told that he can ask for 10-15% discount from company if I want to get the damaged repairs. I had already lost faith in them, this made me more suspicious. Then he told that it will charge 476 Rs (service + TPT), and he can deliver only next day as the van has already gone.This was again ridiculous.. these people are just fooling the customers. I hope they don't replace the original parts.

                              I want that our voice should reach to the correct ears and the matter should be solved. Some full proofing needs to be done in system.

                              Samsung - Air conditioner — Regarding Free Service

                              I have bought Samsung Split Air Conditioner and they told me that they was giving free services during first year but still their engineer has not visited for same. I have logged complaint on their customer care number but still there is no follow up from their side.
                              your customer service is WORST EVER. I purchased an AC last year and within one year it stopped cooling. I registered a complaint 5 days ago after two days they took the AC to the service center and and did not bring it back. I have made several phone calls, even spoke to some supervisor named Vipul Kumar who promised to call back like every other executive but neither i have got my AC nor any call from samsung. PATHTIC SERVICE POOR, QUALITY PRODUCTS. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER SAMSUNG PRODUCT.

                              I had purchased Samung 1 ton AC in 2011 and was very efficient even when voltage was low during summer. I shifted my house in Feb 2013. Uninstallation and installation were both carried by Samung representative. However, when I switched on the AC in March, I found the cooling effect was low. I raised a complaint and the service engineer told that the Gas content is very low and hence, cooling effect is low. I argued that since installation was done by Samsung team, Gas needs to be filled free of cost. After an arguement, Service centre agreed to re-check and then, required action will be taken. This time, another technician who had actually installed the AC verified the compressor and confirmed that there is no leakage and Gas content is fine. Cooling effect is low due to low voltage during night time. After this, I continued using the AC until June as usual assuming that the low cooling effect is due to power fluctuation.

                              After that, I never used AC until mid of September. When I switched on AC in mid of September this year, the cooling effect was NIL even where there is sufficient power supply. I raised a complaint and the technician visited my place. He told me that there is no Gas at all and need to be re-filled. I agreed to pay Rs.2600 for re-filling. Another technician visited next day to re-fill the gas. However, this time, this technician told me that the coil in the Compressor needs to be replaced, which costs Rs.3750. I sparingly use the AC, which amounts to max of 4 hours during summer. All the technicians who came for free as well as paid general service have appreciated that AC maintenance is very good from our side. In spite of this they are asking us to pay for the Coil and the gas leakage.

                              **Below are the contents in Warranty card from Samsung:

                              It states that there is a guarantee cover of 5 years for compressor. But the guarantee does not cover front cover grill, gas consumables and air filter.**

                              As per layman understanding, the above condition directly implies that warranty is covered for all the parts except the above mentioned 3 parts. Also, the life of the coil in the compressor is very short inspite of the AC being used sparingly. **Is this the quality Samsung provides?**

                              I raised a complaint to Samsung customer care for the clarification on the coil to be replaced. I was conferenced by Mr. Mohan (Samsung Customer Service Executive) to Mr. Michael, who I assume is the Area Service Manager for Samsung by Customer Service executive. However, Mr.Michael, was so rude to me and he disconnected the call in between while I was still waiting for him to convince me on the guarantee and the quality of the product.

                              All I wanted to know is below:

                              1) As per the warranty issued by Samsung, only 3 parts namely front cover grill, gas consumables and air filter are not covered. This means that all other parts are covered including Coil since it is fitted inside the Compressor.
                              2) Is there anything in writing which states that Coil is not covered under 5 year warranty even though it is fitted within the compressor.

                              Why should I pay for the gas re-filling and also the coil when I have got the uninstallation and re-installation from the company? It is because of the technician's fault that there was a gas leakage.

                              If anyone has faced similiar situation, please respond.

                                SAMSUNG TV GIVES VERY BAD SHOCKS- SAMSUNG DOES NOT CARE

                                Samsung TV (Model CS29 M (74CM) gives very bad shocks at the in and out terminals and antenna terminal. Be careful. You may be lucky so far.

                                You are fortunate if you do not perceive a shock, even if you have one such TV. But …….. Read on for full story…..

                                The above model gives very bad shocks from the day one. After repeated complaints, the Samsung service team started giving telephonic advices how to test for a shock or how to get one.

                                Still more complaints…., the service personnel informed us that all their sets give the shock as if that is nothing new. I refuted their point that all TVs give shock.

                                Then one day they graced their presence; the manager was more careful about his life as he did not touch the set but asked his assistant to touch. The service personnel touched the set and got the shock. I showed them TVs like LG, Phillips and Akai which did not have any sign of shock.

                                Then the service man measured the shock potential by touching the set with his bare dry hands on a dry winter day. It measured more than 30 Volts and he was wearing socks on his feet.

                                High technology team at Samsung knows that it is close to result in a death.

                                The service manager tried to convince me with some technical lingo how modern TV sets give shock. I rebutted them in equal technical language.

                                On the advice of the manager, the service man removed a certain component from the set. I asked them what the purpose of it is. Or is it deliberately used by Samsung to introduce a shock to human beings?
                                The manager informed me that it is a component basically to protect the set from lightening and high voltage surges and spikes.

                                I protested removal of such vital component, which will expose the set to dangers sooner or later. Samsung will happily wash of their hands after one year.

                                The set was then left in that condition in spite of my protests.

                                After another complaint, their manager from Chennai made a long telephonic talk, bamboozling me with some more technical lingo, but the shock threat remains. He accepted his sets give shock but tried to prove that all TV sets give shock; only some may not perceive when they use cable network.

                                If all TVs made in this country give shocks, we as a nation are in for a shock!!!

                                Then this manager from Chennai came and accepted that he was against removal of that component. He however brought a new printed circuit board and inserted in our TV.

                                Alas! This one also gives serious shocks.

                                It finally proves that all TVs made by Samsung give dangerous shocks. Be careful.

                                No further action from them!

                                Samsung ignored my further mails and continue to sell their sets happily to hapless country men.

                                They do not belong to the class of Nokia or Sony.

                                It is dangerous. Any one o[censored]s can be next victim!!! It will not bother Samsung.

                                What if, for them if some more get a shock in the multitude of millions in India?

                                  I have purchased one samsung HTP10 Home theater system from Qatar.I brought it to India.With in one year I got power supply complaint.Service person came to my residence and they told it is not covering international warranty. Therefore I had to spend 2500INrR for replacing the power supply board.With in 15 days after replacing the power supply board again the player got complaint.I register the complaint but the technician told that have to replace the amplifier board .The service person telling 1500INR more will take for the replacing the AMP board
