I have a sharekhan trading account which i didn't used from last one year, i ahev sent multiple emails to [protected]@sharekhan.com however haven't heard anything back yet.

While i contacted live chat (Customer care) following are the response, also customer care number provided by support team kept me in queue for about 40 minutes and then i just disconnected:

    I have visit your office at amravati, maharashtra, near mansarovar hotel, navate to open an demat account. I meet mr. Prashant vyas he has guided me and told to pay rs.15000 check and annual charges and processing fee to open an demat account. Is it correct? Because i got information from your help line that at the beginning of account there is no need to pay any charges. Please clear this
    Point. Your company is so reputed that's why i want to believe but such type of contradiction creates uncertainty.

      I have purchased equity shares of "permanent magnets" in two (2) of my accounts over past two - three months
      Iam surprised that i cannot see them in my dpsr holding
      In one account qty is 200 bought at 63.00 on 17/10/2017
      In other it's showing qty lesser by 16 shares..
      I still have to check if its so with other equity scrips also and have requested my accountant for the same.

      Hi Sunjit, basis our discussion on call, the scrip Permanent Magnets is in Trade to Trade segment which means the shares would reflect in the online DP/SR report only on the receipt of delivery. As you have bought the shares on 18/10/2017, the delivery is expected to be done on 24/10/17 considering 19th-22nd October were holidays. Also, the DP/SR report has been properly updated.         I am rupam chopra living in a-103, om ridhi sidhi co-operative society, near corporation bank, dahisar (East) who has online applied for registration and was attended by 2 representatives of sharekhan in my home on 18th october'17 at 12:30 pm of named pawan chourasia having mail id pawan. [protected]@branch. Sharekhan.com and other person name i don't remember. They stole 2 laptops from my home named lenovo b40-80 model name -80 ls serial number - mp09mrrz and lenovo ideapad 100-14ibd model name - 80 rk serial number - pf0gdxrt and are not accepting the same which has obliged me ti register a complain against the same.

          On october 17, 2017-a sales person from sharekhan-koramangala branch approached my office for opening a demat account with them.
          I am new to share market - i never wanted to be part of share market.

          His name: hari

          I was misguided into sharing my documents (Like aadhar and pancard details) and signing the demat account opening form. (I just signed - form he said will be filled by them)

          What i was informed was that the account opening is free-zero processing fees. But he never informed about the amc.

          The same day, after some time i called him and also put msgs to him and asked him to stop the account opening process and return my documents - i continuously kept on calling him to stop the account opening process for 2 days. He kept on telling he will try and my account was created on 18th oct 2017 inspite of repeated requests to stop it and not to procedd further with it

          When i was not even ready to open the account - sharekhan forced me into this.
          I want the account to be closed but he says it will take 7 days, only after that my account closing form will be accepted.

            Sharekhan charges crazy amount of brokerage. On escalating this i was assured that the existing brokerage charges would be reduced to half. That never happened however. After waiting for 10 days, mailed sharekhan regarding the same. Got a very rude response from the staff after waiting for another two weeks. Overall my problem was never addressed. Terminating my account with sharekhan and starting with zerodha

            Sharekhan has given be schedule of charges however they have charges much higher than what is confirmed to me, they are doing forgery in the customer accounts by taking higher charges then what is confirmed

            I am triloki nath choudhary, customer id 819159 maintaining demat and trading account with sharekhan for the past 10years, but due to some reason I was not using it for the last two year. now again I wanted to start and transferred Rs500/- on 2nd nov 2017 but till now it has not been credited to my trading account. I dropped mail to myaccount at least twice and called customer care at least four times it is shocking not even once I could speak to any customer care person even after waiting for more than 20 minutes..r they closing their operation ..

                I had applied for two ipo's of dixon & capacite co. Even i was not alloted any shares till date i have not received my money well over rs 35, 000. I approached bank officials-but didnt co-operate & sharekhan branch executives to which they replied that its not their look-out.

                Well, now i am approaching the company officials directly legally.

                I didnt expect this type of services from sharekhan & therefore i have decided to close my account.

                Hi Amit, as a process, we collect the IPO forms and submit the same to the bank. Further processing and amount blocking is done by the bank. In case the shares are allotted through IPO, the amount is debited from the bank account and if the shares are not allotted, the blocked amount is released immediately.

                We request you to coordinate with your bank again and check why the amount is still not released. However, if you are not receiving a response from the bank you can get back to us. For further assistance, please send in the feedback from the bank along with your account details at [protected]@sharekhan.com so that we will be able to better assist you with it.

                As I has said, I have already approached the Bank officials but they have confirmed that the amount has not been released from the company.

                However, I have approached both the companies but till date there is no refund of my money invested.

                  I have an account with sharekhan with id 292735. An amount of 1000₹ was deducted from my account in the name of account maintenance fees wherein the account was not operated for 2 years. If the account was not operated then why do we have to pay the charges. Is the charges justifiable. We are not informed when it's deducted and only came to know when a complaint was filed with them.

                  Hi Paravesh, the DP charges are levied for maintaining a demat account with us. Be assured that the charges are levied as per "Tariff Schedule" of DP charges agreed at the time of account opening. Also, as per normal course of business, we do send e-mail communication to our customers along with the ledger and bill copy as soon as the bills are posted in the ledger.                       Dear sir/madam,

                      Please find the entire details pointwise and datewise

                      1. My dp a/c with sharekhan was opened on[protected]Cust id 2082265) by mr. Prasad kadam (Contact - [protected]).
                      2. I transferred rs.8000/- from my saving a/c to this dp a/c for doing equity transactions on the same day.
                      3. On[protected] fno transaction was done in my dp without my consent.
                      4. Mr. Prasad on same day called me and informed, "we have done one nifty transaction in your a/c, we tried calling you but it was not reachable, and you have got 1500 profit in this"
                      5. I replied stating that i have never done fno transaction, i only use equity segment, please guide me to use sharekhan app and help me to understand the transaction'.
                      6. Since then, i had been following up with mr. Prasad but he either did not pick up my calls or give me falls assurance to visit me next day.
                      7. So, i called up sharekhan call center[protected] on 04-10-17 at 04.10pm and put a complaint against prasad.
                      8. Then on same day i got a call from mr. Abhijit pawar (Contact-[protected]) and apologized for bad services, then he assured that i can call him for any queries further and forget prasad.
                      9. I then repeated the same request for training me to use the sharekhan app and fno transaction done in my account.
                      10. On[protected] mr. Ganesh awale (Contact - [protected]) called me at 12.40 pm and explained me about equity transactions, then i tried buying trident share (100 qnty) but i was unable to do so stating i dont have enough money (Limit was only rs.199/-)
                      11. So i informed mr. Ganesh awale abt this, he said i can not check your acc, your rm can do so, otherwise give me 1/2 hr time i will call you back'.
                      12. But as usual like the other staffs of sharekhan he did not turn up.
                      13. So i tried calling abhijit, he also did not pick up my phone.
                      14. So finally as frustrated consumer again i called up your call center on[protected] and registered a complaint against both mr. Prasad and mr. Abhijit.
                      15. Thankfully call center employee ms. Vaishnavi khona wonderfully explained me the sharekhan app and all transactions.
                      16. I told her that i do not want fno transaction, and i want my 8000/- back so that i can use the same in equity.
                      17. She replied i can not use my 8000/- as its not available now and there was no profit of 1500/- as explained by mr. Prasad on 1st day (I have lost my 8000/- for no reason)
                      18. So getting very angry i told her to take mr. Abhijit on conference call. Mr. Abhijeet on concall told me give me 10 days time, if there is any loss we will recover it. I warned him about putting a consumer complaint against both and to solve this issue.
                      19. Within 15 mins i got a call from mr. Prasad, stating whatever wrong has happened, he was not a part of it as his job is to just open the acc but he will do the follow up and will return my money in 10-15 days and requested me not to close my fno segment.

                      Now, this is the worst experience with sharekhan and who is responsible for my financial loss of rs.8000/- and my mental frustration.

                        We had opened two demat accounts with rs.10, 000 deposit money with sharekhan in august, 2010, since they promised to help in dematerialising all our share certificates of different companies, which were in physical form.
                        After opening the accounts, we had requested them over phone for several months to help us in the process of dematerialising. They had not complied with our request for this service even after two years. We were fed up with their inactivity and requested them to close our accounts in august, 2013 with the customer ids.1315281 and 1312538 as no transaction was done due to the non-dematerialising.
                        They asked us to fill some forms for closure and we did so and submitted as per the instructions.
                        For one of the accounts they had even refunded part of the money deposited, but they have not closed our accounts till date, but are continuously harassing us to pay money for holding the accounts with them.
                        We solicit your intervention in the case and advise us.

                          I had received a telecon from your mumbai office but the problem is as it is and no response is being received by me and you are not giving any attention to such a serious problem while your software package is designed to cheat the public and despite seceral phone cally you are not bothered at all either to rectify software package and the problem. And no statement is sent to me as committed by your office. I will wait for tomorrow or otherwise presume that you have no solution to this problem as it is very beneficial to you at the cost of public.

                          With a profound grief i have to mention here fourth time since the past three years that either there is something wrong with your software package on internet or there is a great fraud/scam is happening in your institution as despite several emails if you are not rectifying the serious things and siphoned away the funds of the clients to the extent of 30-40$ of the sales value of stocks on any particular time and still you are not bothered to rectifying the things as it favours you and so it is intentional and has cheating motives. Now let me explain to you that earlier during the past throo years i had reported you by email/ telecon that whenever i am selling shares, a major portion of it many times (30-40$) is not being credited at all resulting me to a huge loss. Only two/three transactions were rectified on my complaint but what about hundreds of other transactions where i have lost a huge amount say more than rs 85000 and more than this as opportunity cost/time/torture. Now again on 2nd or 3rd i sold 18 shares of mteducare @ rs 65 per share and 5 shares of gati @ rs 115 per share having more than rs 1700 as its value. Just to check it whether the things have been rectified or not. But to my surprise only rs 1200 have been credited till[protected] which means rs 500 are not credited and just eaten away as usual. As your software is designed in a such way that on random basis it is not crediting 30-40 % of the sale value and once i remember i lost rs 5000 and subsequently on many ocasions i lost it and your official also agreed for that there is something wrong with the software package and they will rectify it and it is also recorded on phone with him and with other officers too subsequent complaint.in total i have lost more than rs 2.00 lakhs inclusive of opportunity cost/time etc.
                          And now i will not wait further and going to take up the issue with sebi, nse, bse, pmo, media, internet if you did not rectfy the things and compensated for my loss within two days.

                            I have provided all relevant documents for commodity opening. There is sheer no response from the team from chennai team - both anna nagar and omr. Person collected documents have lost the documents and gives no response when called his number. One pathetic brokerage company. I am still not getting any solid response from them until till date.
                            Please resolve the issue immediately and this compliant goes to all the executive works with sharekhan. I can see no responsibility taken by the executives and also senior members.

                              I wanted to know the present status of my account... Customer id 492970. The balance of money in my account and other details.. As i was not operating this dmat account since long.. He (Mr virender) was put on line by operator at [protected]... Instaed of taking my request and providing me the details... He continued discussing with his collegues/senior and dropped the line... My sharekhan on line trading account is also not working satisfactorily... I got humiliated... Hence i want to close my dmat account with immediate affect... Plz send ur field representative to my present address... T-232c, gulmohar greens, mohan nagar, sahibabad, ghaziabad, -201007, mob no [protected], [protected].

                              I[censored] could also plz let me know the actions initiated against the defaulter employees who are there to mallign the image of sharekhan..in the present comptittive market (Of d mat account providers)... Instead of listening the request of customer and helping them... I would be greatful..

                              Dear sir,

                              my client id is 1660346 i have to lodge complaint against branch head and poor service of branch administrative work.
                              I have visited your rajkot branch personally for closer of my dmat and trading account.Before visiting branch i have telephonically taken permission and fix appointment with branch head mr malay popat, he informed me to come at branch. I had visited branch after 9.30. Branch head not come in the branch i had contacted to near by receiption counter and requested to shri nishikbhai to closed account. He gave me a form for closer of the account. After i have completed dully filled the closer form, handed over the form. He wastted some time and after some minute again i request for procedure. I have also requested that when mr malay popat will come?. He told me that he is not arrived and i dont know when he will come. He gave me two statements and inform me to contact to some one who is sitting in 2nd chamber. I request him that i want to transfer my shares lying in dp to msfl at rajkot will that mr will do . He told me that i should speek like that in advance, now you fill another form and he gave me another form to fill. I just at a glance seen that form i surprise that it was same form that was earlier given me. I told that this is same form. He insist to filled it again. Though there was not misbehavair or rood behavier but also not polite tone i feel it was intruction like i am his subordinate, i have handed over the second form to him he instructed to contact mr pramesh shah in 1st chamber. I accordingly have to contact to shri pramesh. He request to wait until shri malaybhai come. I had informed him that i have already talk with mr malay popat regarding closing of ac. He tried to help me with mr nishik makwana but shri nikish has not supporte him. I had requested all other any documents require for the procedure i will send somebody to complete formality/ mean while mr popat came i have tried to approach him but he was busy in his chamber, and did not take interest to call me in his chamber

                              i have to complaint that knowing that i was comming from 220 kms distance mr malay did not attend office even after fixing the appointment. I heard wording regarding br head late comming from your office i would not quote here, even after attaining branch i feel he did care to attend me.I feel insulted also he did not take interest to solve request.

                              Now, i turned to mr nikish for completing my request, he has intructed twice to go 1st chamber and 2nd chamber to follow up my request. I have to complaint that his behavaiour like i. Am your sub staff and instructions were like that to go in your branch office premises here and there?

                              in the past i have so many times requested to mr malay on phone as well as through [protected] and through emails that i am not providing proper service. But i feel that mr malay has only telephonically talk gently but did not take follow up or interest whether i am getting proper service or not?

                              i have further again complaint with mr malay that he did not respond my request through telephonically also regaridng reducing my brokerage as i wish to growth my vollume in trading here i have also informed that my mr kiritkumar shantilal bagdai mob no [protected] trading code kirit260 has opened account with your ahmedabad branch recently at lowest broker rate.You may check the transactions but mr popat did not take interest in this matter even though i am your client since last three years. And going to increase trading volume. As my mr bagdai has been retired and reced retirement fund and will help me and guide me in trading and investment,

                              i am really not satisfied with customer service. Earlier i have mentioned in email and telephonic talk with your co[s call from bombay" that show me any outgoing call to me from mobile of your brnah head mr malay when i had request to get me guidance for trading and contract note " . I regret to write that co has allowed such poor customer service and not help me to get good service. I am not expecting best service but i did receive poor servicee., , ,
                              let me quote one incident that some of your executive has traded throug my client id and loss was debited in my account. I took it lightly as human error but mr malay has not phoned as a any courtsey call.

                              I want to quit reasoning as above poor and insulting attitude to me.

                              Let me draw your kind attention that angle broking of rajkot shri hiren has contacted me to open demat and trading account at the lowest rate brokerate .01 pais intraday and .10paise for delivery base plus life time demat charges free and also promised me to provide advisore to guide and here totally contraversy i have seen, i have to beg for service i have visited the branch. Opening of the account with similing face and 2nd time i have visited and there after closing procedure i had to work as peon.

                                This company regularly sends out around 6-7 trading related emails everyday, which i am not able to turn off. I have called their customer care person who told me to create a rule in my email to send those emails automatically to trash. They have provided an unsubscribe button but it doesn't work. The emails are sent to my inbox from different emails such as:

                                [protected]@mailer. Skcomtrade.com
                                [protected]@mailer. Sharekhan.com
                                [protected]@mailer. Sharekhan.com
                                Fundamental. [protected]@sharekhan.com

                                The company has no explanation for why the unsubscribe button doesnt work. And after months of cleaning up my inbox everyday, i have had enough, and so i have come here to put in a complaint because i'm sure i am not the only one.

                                These emails are cluttering my workspace and even after i stop using their service, these emails dont stop coming because they arent exactly 'spam'. But they come as frequently as spam. Everyday there are atleast 5-6 emails which i'm not interested in, and cannot even block.

                                These indian startups have no ethical boundaries really. Seems the practice of buying emails in bulk is the only way they know to try and get customers.

Twice i had contacted on customer care dept as i am receiving messages stating my outstanding is due they told me that they will get back to me but till today no one contacted me. As i had withdraw the entire amt and submitted the closure letter why am receiving this type of messages.

                                    It is to bring to your kind notice that in my sharekhan trading account (Name : kapil agrawal, client code:1669757 branch id:115), it shows a difference against hold value in dp a/c report and bill summary page. I had called customer support regarding this, and it was conveyed that there are some taxes which are being levied on that but are not being shown. However, when same was queried with my relationship manager, it has been conveyed that there is some technical issue, which needs to be addressed to the concerned team.

                                    Now, here my main concern is, in both screens there is a difference of 31 paisa (Hold value in dp a/c 216.34 - value in bill summary 216.03 = 31 paisa). If it is affecting balance of my bank account, it may please be resolved. Also, if any such instances were there which have gone unnoticed earlier may be taken care.

                                    For reference i have attached the screenshot of both the screens.

                                      Hello,

                                      I had transferred 50, 000 rs from my bank account - bank of baroda to sharekhan. The transfer was made on 14th of august and today it is 16th of august. The money was transferred in minutes and bank of baroda even sent me transaction details. Sharekhan has all the details including my bank statement. Yet they never transferred money on time to my trading account. The trading day is also about to end.

                                      For traders, this is a warning sign and hopefully they think twice before opening an account with sharekhan. They claim they are better than other traders but their customer service is very poor.

                                      I will also tell to everyone who as a customer is wanting to open a demat and trading account with them. They have same canned response to every complaint. The only time they call is when they want something from you else when it comes to your problems, queries, resolutions, you don't get any call from them. Nor are emails answered

                                        Hi, i have an account with sharekhan, for which i had brought 2000 shares of mannapuram,. While opening the account your broker promised me that my brokerage would be 1paisa in intraday & 10paisa in cash. However while i had brought 2000 shares of mannapuram i was charged at a rate of 50 paisa which resulted it in a loss. Can you immediately refund my loss back and charge me brokerage s per 10 paisa?

                                        In my DPSR report, some few stocks showing N/A, and the message comes, "stock is not tradeable in this segment". Could you please tell me what should I do, as I want to sell such stocks.
