Yesterday[protected] call received from Sales team who asked for one time registration fees 3657 (with Tax) and the services will be valid for lifetime.
They mentioned that one dedicated relationship manager will be assigned to me and they guarantee job in just 10-12 days.
Today Mr. Shiva (Relationship Manager) called me and he again repeated all the promises and claimed Shine.com's reputation and the fact that it's associated with the Hindustan times.
This person took all the details of mine and requirement after 30 minutes discussion Mr. Shiva mentioned that there will be two verification one is education and another is assessment verification. He mentioned that the charges will be like peanut. When I saw proforma invoice i saw that the charges were even higher than the Registration charges and that they didn't tell me about these additional charges yesterday so i hesitated to make any payment but he tried all means to convince me that this is very small amount against the salary i will be getting in 10-15 days. Just after I paid the first proforma he sent me second proforma invoice for 9556 when i objected that you didn't tell me about this before he said no I told you that there will be two verification and therefore the charges. I demanded to talk with his senior initially he tried to avoid but then he gave call to some fellow who pretended to be his senior and he started with the same arguments. I objected that this behaviour is completely unprofessional there is no transparency and it's like cheating to customers. This senior person said that the executives who spoke to me yesterday were not knowing the process and that depending on the CV and the level of the hiring the they are providing services. They mentioned that the reputed companies will not even entertain the applications without verification done. I was though not convinced but they again and again tried convincing that you will just get job in 10-12 days and that this amount is nothing in front of what I shall be hired at. That senior and Mr. Shiva repeated that i need to trust them and go ahead for payment. I kept on saying that this is kind of trap and that you are not telling in one shot how much i need to pay. I thought that since i paid almost 11-12 thousand on Naukari and "Shine. com" being in their competition must be charging almost same amount through different services. But as I completed the second Proforma (third payment), he sent me third one which was even bigger amount like 16580. When I received this i lost my temper and i said this is clearly a scam. I think my call was heard by multiple people and the senior person shown anger hearing "Scam" word from me. He started saying that if I don't Shine services, it's fine but i should not be using words like cheating, scam etc. They were claiming about high reputaion of shinecom and it's association with Hindustan times. At 2.43 pm my phone got switched off and i had to go out to pick my child from school.
After I came back home at 4.54 pm i again received a call from different number +91 [protected]. This person claimed calling from Shine.com saying that i need to just make ruppes 10 and I can register myself in shine .com and can get premium services without any additional money. I asked that who are you and that Shine.com team have taken more than 17 thousand ruppees from me since yeasterday so that person gave call to his senior who in turn told me that they were not from shine.com but third party recruitment agency. He said that he shall send me one form through which i can claim refund. That person sent me form. Having such bad experience since morning i was even hesitant to clink on the link he provided but i clicked and filled some details like name and email address etc. then this form took me to a link for processing payment of rupee 1. The page was demanding net banking details and I suspected the same so I didn't enter the details. This person again called me twice at 5.14 pm asking whether i filled the form and completed the verification process for refund. I said that i suspect this and i can not enter my banking details. He said that if I want refund in 24 to 48 hours I need to complete this process. He again called me at 5.32 pm to ask whether I completed payment of rupee 1.

Shine.com is frauding people's hard-earned money. They are misselling job products via overselling lucrative consulting packages. I have paid 50k to Shine.com which I want back.

so I said intrested.then they called from this number ([protected]) to me, they asked my resume and other document sent to them .so I forwarded the details. Then she told job application form amount(Starting) Rs.5900 you have to pay. I paid the amount.

Then she connected the call for an interview with one person at Golden Agriculture Resources limited.After the interview they asked Rs.15000 for job confirmation letter.
Then she asked Rs.25000 amount to complete procedure of visa, totally 45900 rupees.
Then they asked 30000rs for Insurance purpose so I avoided that one . after that they didn't pick my call so I need my money back .

Hi,

I was asked to make a payment of INR 30, 000 as the application & security amount (Refundable) to Trust Vision Consultancy. Plus I have also paid INR 9, 000 for attesting the educational certificates through Ministry of External Affairs.

Now they are asking me to pay additional INR 45, 000 for Visa processing fee which is refundable. I have not paid this amount.The company has shared the employment card which is fake (Gamuda Berhad Malaysia). I doubt the company's email communication address plus the details on the employment card.

I want my money back(INR 30, 000) 100% refunded as they are your client.

I would have to register a Written Complaint against the false practices used by Shine to collect money.

I have also emailed on 17th but no resolution yet.WOW!!

I, Dhananjay Patil aged 29 currently residing Sargasan Gandhinagar have been a victim of fraudulent and highly unethical behavior from recruiting agency called Shine.com.
On June 14, 2023 I have been asked to pay approximately Rs. 3330.84/- as membership fee for Shine.com. Further on June 15, 2023, the very next day I received many calls and emails from the said agency asking me to upgrade my profile.

I was constrained to provide the sensitive information such as OTPs fraudulently on the grounds o[censored]pgrading the profile. Kindly note that the transactions were undertaken via credit cards. I had been duped of Rs. 1, 40, 270/- till I realized that I am a victim of such a horrible crime.

When realized that they are forcing me to pay for services I don't require, I requested them to cancel the sevrices and provide me my hard earned money back to which they have refused.
As such fake and non value adding services are not at all required, I request consumer forum to interven and provide such refund from shine.com

They told me that in order to get my dream job I have to avail one more service which is essential and is required otherwise all my payment will be non refundable so with lot of hesitation and imprehensions I made a payment of INR 9, 556.00, INR 5, 192.00 and INR 17, 167.00 more after paying the fifth payment they again convinced me that there is a payment link for 24, 779.00 that I need to do that this will be the final last payment at this moment I realize that I was coordinate trap

I have paid rs. 3292 for profile highlighting and resume booster, however, the services was quoted by sales person named Ashish and Pushpendra ([protected]). They have offered interview mentorship, profile correction and also said these are the final charges and I can use these services for lifetime. As soon as I paid a guy name Shiva called and asked for another 4600 rs. and something more.
I do not want your services. I want my money back. This was a scam and I do want to continue this.

On 12 June, 2023 I received a call from shine.com that they will help in finding a job for me and provide premium services. To create an account I would have to pay Rs.3000. I made the payment and was connected to a relationship manager the next day.

The relationship manager asked me to make a few more payments cumulatively worth more than Rs.90000 on incremental stages without revealing the full details of all the payments.

First I was asked to make a payment of Rs.5, 192 for educational verification.

Then I was asked to make a payment of Rs.9, 556 for company verification.

Then I was asked to make a payment of Rs. 15, 762 for Resume writing services where I asked whether there are more charges. The executive said no.

But then sent another request of Rs.24, 779 and said that this is the final payment that you have to make and then the profile would be live. I was reluctant to pay but then I said okay will do it.

But here comes the shocker, finally the executive asked me to make the payment of Rs.36, 246 to make the profile live. And this is when I had it. I just didn't want the service at all. It doens't make sense.

I just said please don't give me the services, to which he said that we don't refund the money. But the profile won't be live until 36, 246 is paid.

So I was left in a limbo, I can't get the refund, I can't have the profile live. I just want the refund of all the amount I have paid. These are hidden charges and do nothing but dupe the customer. The executive was also abusive and refused to give full information.

Please look into this and help me get the refund. I am a poor person looking to get a job and through shine.com I have lost Rs.60, 000.

Step by step frap money like ask finish first step, second step, third step, like vary 2000, 7000, 2500 like ask, i too pay finally he cut all my calls .finally i received mail only...

Hi, recently one of your employee Umesh Kumar (Umesh.[protected]@shine.com) did a Fraud with me which made me to paid a service of Rs.23000. I don’t want your services but a refund immediately.

Today I got a call from Shine.com for premium services in job search. First they asked to pay me Rs.3292 (Proforma Invoice ID IN20230530_808590) as registration charge post which I informed that I will get an individual advisor who will guide me until I get shortlisted for a job.

Once this is done, I got a call at 4PM for further registration. Representative Shiva (+91 [protected]) introduced himself as Career advisor, called and took my resume, went through it and asked for further details like experience and other personal details.

After this intro session, he sent another payment request stating that is for "Education Verification Plus Package" and confirmed that this is the last payment I have to make to proceed with the registration process. Rs. 5192.00/- was charged (Proforma Invoice ID - IN20230530_808844)

Again in few minutes one more, "Career Assessment Test with Expert Counselling" (Proforma Invoice ID - IN20230530_808849) - Rs. 9557.00/-

At this time I was frustrated and started questioning him for these charged and requested what was the total amount I have to pay. He said that was the last one post that it will be the registration process. The irritating part was he was stating those as Investment and its peanuts compared to what I will get back.

Post this the next level of payment again started, this is the point where I was burst and asked what is the total pending to activate the account, still the same old story,

A person who is looking for a job changes has to pay so much? All these were not requested by me and it was informed that these are mandatory for me to get the premium service. Also he said it was for life time and when I cross checked, most of the items are just for 180 days max.

I told the sales man clearly that I am not in urgency for job change but he kept insisting that the INVESTMENT is PEANUT.

Kindly revert all these charges immediately and I can see all these are listed in my profile which I absolutely dint ask for. This is not the right approach to sell a product.

I cross checked many consumer forum and all of them faced the same problem. To your notice, the entire sale happened in an hour.

Look like fraud call on name of shine.com from number +[protected].

4. Spoke person is arrogant and lack etiquettes.
5. Person forces you to do transaction without having all details written or email.

This look like fraud.

Irrespective of I am telling that I am busy, person tried to call multiple times, voice of person appears like threatening.

22/05/2023, I get a call from the glassdoor.com, They said your cv is shortlisted by bank and IT sector, and select the IT, after they call me back, said you are selected by wipro company after that they asked document like, passport size photo etc.., I sent the document, after they ask money for registration fees, and i paid Rs 1850, after they send email to attend the aptitude test, and the next day i had a telephonic interview by the hr i selected after they asked verification fees Rs.6500 and i paid only Rs.5000 in this mid of the payment i want to know that this is scam or real to pay the balance payment

Shine people called me and said assuring for job and took 45000 in 5 transactions

When I make Rs 3292 payment the company executive said this is final payment for services after that Kuldeep (Mobile no [protected]) called me and speak with me half an hour and ask for Rs. 6838 payment when I did this payment he again asked for more payment i.e Rs 9675. My request you to please refund my Rs 3292 payment and Rs 6838 payment ASAP.

I get a call from the representative of shine.Com that they will provide premium services and there will be some charge for it. I have made the payment. But after that their other employee's call comes and seeing the wrong information they charge me 2 times that this will be the last payment. But after that 3rd time again mail the payment. And when asked about refund, they refuse by telling the policy. While he had not told about any such policy earlier.
