I, jagruti shere education: ca and lawyer have registered a police complaint with dcp zonal - ii, panvel. The details of complaint as follows :

I have registered in shine.com for job.in this regard, i got call from mobile no. [protected] on date 27th july, 2019 around 12.30 pm. He said that his name is manoj and calling from shine.com.

Further, he said that they have selected my profile for some vacancies so i have to fill online form and rs.10. So i said ok and accordingly he said to login me from shinecandidate.in then i done the same and proceeded for payment of rs. 10. While making payment of rs.10 but i got msg from bank that my bank a/c is debited with rs.4590.
I told him that i got msg with debit of rs.4590 and he asked me to forward same msg. I got doubt so i deleted balance and forwarded msg. He said that he will refund the amount but i have to say him otp. My doubt got confirm so i said no to him but he continued to calling me. Then i told him to refund my money and i have made police complaint against him then he said that do whatever now u will not get money refund and dropped the phone. After that he did not called me.

I request you to investigate in this matter and return my hard earned money otherwise he will go ahead with fraud of big amount with other person. Kindly do the needful.

I am shivanee vyas i registered my self in shine jobs. Today first i got a call from urside to pay 1845rs for registration. I really need the job and the massage and call is from shine.com so believed i did that after that then my call transfered to some senior he said that my profile transferred to the company for job but i have to pay rs 3880. Then i doubted and said sir i didn't have that much money please refund my previous transfered money they said no the money is refundable after your interview or if you didn't pay this amount your previous money is hold. So that amount i paid after that i told him that this one is the last amount he said yes, then i said ok and paid that amount also. After that he transfered my call to some another person for activation the account. And said send your documents for the further process... I believed them and i send my documents too. After some research i realize that i made a mistake i have to confirm after research i found that the company not charged any amount. Plz its my humble request u to refund my money. This is a big fraud happening with job seekers in india. On may 2019 i took a paid service 4696 inr through online. The next hour, i got a call from shine executive to take another service for verification of my profile which cost 6478 inr.in this manner to complete total profile, they theft officially of total 98096 inr in the name of different services. They made my credit card empty balance. They didn't accept to pay in instalments. Their acting is very creative and innovative to make anyone take the fraud services. They said that jobs are ready available which matches my profile. The only thing is to complete the payments of different services and take the interview calls. They convinced and make different payments in one day for 98096 inr. Even now i getting call for different services to just close it by recieving a simple documentation. They now closing the services by giving visual resume, professional summary and portfolio copies which can be done at any cyber cafe or document center which may cost maximum 1000 inr. But they charge me for 67866 inr out of total 98096inr. The above three documents were prepared using ms-office. For sample i attached professional summary which charged 8999inr. Also they giving me whatsapp job alerts i. E., links of naukri.com job notifications. For every 15days i'm getting the calls only to close those services by accepting through my portal.in the meanwhile, i got hundreds of similar fraud calls with the name of other portal services after login to shine paid service. I inform to shine executive, they said that your profile is in open status. After closing the services the problem will be solved.
Like this, i have been tortured mentally and financially due to shine paid services.

Sub: cheating case by shine.com for promising a job to me and demanding money

I am a retired engineer from vashi navi mumbai and shine.com went on approaching me for providing me job at various companies in and around mumbai and they told me to upload my resume. I did the same and later they said that inorder to highlight it, i need to pay some amount. I did pay rs 4227/- thro' net and there after there were no calls at all.
Just two days back some one again called me and said the same story that they will help me in getting me a job.
I told them that i have already paid the amount and for this the guy said that there is no entry and i haven't paid any thing for this job services etc..
Since yesterday their seniors kept on calling me and said i need to highlight my resume and get my resume verified and so they were not able to help me. So i need to pay some more amount about rs.8500/- more to carry further etc.. Etc...
I told them that i don't trust them and promised to pay double the amount say rs 17k from my first salary - provided i get the job from them.
I told them to return my money as they haven't given me any service since the last one and half months.
They denied and said that they don't have any refund policy etc.

I, now request your good self to help me in recovery of my amount.

Before one month ago i received call fromfuture care delhi from shine.com.
About job in kotak mahindra bank as a operation manager. They said u'r profile is selected for operation manager in kotak mahindra bank as a operation manager. They said plz pay ragistration fees 2650 and after that u'r interview scheduled. I pay their fees. To their google pay account.
After 1 week i received call from himanshu he said he is from kotak mahindra bank relationship manager. And he take my telephonic interview. And said u r okk from my side nd said to pay 8000 rs for security amount. I tell i also pay to vinita verma (Future care) to 2650 rs. Nd i have no information to this amount 8000. He say this is refundable amount after paying this amount am illigable to face to face interview. After that a job letter has sent to me and again demanding rs 36000 fir training fees. So th
Plz action for that frauds. They charged money only.
Plz solve this i[censored] can otherwise i take help of consumer court.

I had got a call from shine.com saying that there are jobs available in the market relevant to my profile and they asked me to do a registration with Rs. 3992 RS. which is offered, I did that,

These employees are fake in the shine company Shobha Kashyap, munesh Kumar Shine Learning

Then they started asking me to pay for more money for further services one by one assuring me that I will start getting interview calls within 5-7 working days for jobs as you like.

They said me pay 10000 Rs an amount for the services when I started objecting they said if I don't pay for this service then the services taken prior to this will be invalid, which were irrelevant to my profile.
At the end I did not get any interview calls, then I started inquiring about this they started ignoring me, I started following it up with them,
I could not get my refund with them for more than 2 months.
I will give you all the details and If any media company would support me and help me in showcasing the frauds done by shine.com,
These are the worst people I have come across in my life,
They themselves don't know what services are relevant for a candidate and these kind of people are working as career counselors in shine
Some of them don't even speak proper English and they are sitting as managers in shine.com,

I received a call on 20th july from a guy named rahul for employment services from shine.com. He asked if i am interested in jobs outside india, he gave me a quote of rs. 7427/- to get enrolled and claimed that i have to pay nothing more aprt from this amount and shine would help me find the job, then i received another call from sweety who gave me further details on how they will proceed in finding jobs for me in uk. While on the call she sent me another performa invoice of rs. 15574/- for additional services and that it was necessary to continue with the service else they cannot help. I was forced to make this payment.

Then i received another call within 15 mins from anand who said that i need to pay another rs. 23000 to avail the complete services as whatever i bought wasn't good enough for my resume to be visible in the market. This phone call lasted for approx 50 mins and could not believe what was going on. When i asked him that i would to get a refund of the money, i was told there is no refund, and that no one tells on one call what is the actual amount that shine is going to charge so i'm stuck to pay this amount else visibility of my resume in the international market would be limited and i will not find any job. The money which i paid previously will all be wasted. I tried my best to get my money back but he totally ignored that request and suggested that rs. 23001 which i paid will all be wasted because i'm not cooperating. I was stuck, he sent me email in which he gave me a discount and asked me to pay rs. 18407/- and also mentioned this is the last payment i'm making. No further charges will be there. As mentioned by anand on that call i was supposed to receive a welcome call on monday i. E., 22nd of july, 2019 which did not happen. I called anand and he did not pick up my call, he called back in an hour or so and asked me revert on the email that i should get a call which i did. I don't see anything happening, i'm receiving emails of all sorts but there's no one to guide. They only are interested calling when money needs to be paid.

I was forced to make this payment!!! Not all expected a fraud call from shine. I am looking to get my money back, i don't want any service from shine. If not refunded i will be forced to file an fir!!

Please be informed that some people are using the name of shine to cheat people saying that they are shortlisted for opportunities within tech mahindra. A guy stating that his name is karan sharma and he is cheating people asking for money as well. He is asking money for bgv clearance and for money for a bond of a month.

If you are promising the service providers what the hell you are doing for last 1 month ... in 1 month i got only 4 job links.

I am writing to a fraudulent transaction done on my credit card inr 16000/- on date 19-july-2019 at 5.20 pm. I received a called from shine.com [protected] & [protected] regarding refund money which i paid the shine on may-19 month of inr 4000/- but there is no money refunded. They made a fraud of 16000/- on my credit card. It very shameful that it happened on shine.com & cases are increasing day by day. I am not only person this happened with me, there lot of person facing the same issue. First of all, your employee made fake commitment to customer and making the payment basis of cheated to the customer. It seems that company is growing basis to cheated to customer and making fraud transaction to customer.

It will be spoiled company name (Ht media) in market. No one can trust to shine.com (Ht media) if it is doing same things.
I request you to please refund my hole money soon and take necessary action on this matter and punished who is culprit. Shine management need to investigate this carefully.
I hope you will give a positive response on this matter and resolve our issue soon.

I got a call from shine.com regarding serives nd to get calls for interview by taking their paid service and raj was on the line and he promised me all the services regarding my resume on top on different job portals/direct calls from recruiters both domestic and international by paying a fee of rs. Arounf 5000 which i paid promptly. He assured me of call back from an expert. Now i got a call from gaurav who explained me about how they help candiadtes to get job abroad with salary in multi lacs per month and asked for 18k more to deposite and took raj online where raj totally denied for the services without paying rs. 18000 more and shine.com have no policy of refund. Now plz suggest how do i get my money back or sue them in court.

Shine.com job protal has looted 48k from under various packages to offer me guaranteed jobs in gulf. after taking my money, they stopped calling me, hasn't share any job leads to me, not even took any efforts to post my resume for gulf openings.

When I did escalation to Mr.Vinod he said we will refund your amount and don't need to worry of file a complaint for this.

As on date, I had not received any money as well as not a single call from Shine.com or Any Gulf Employer for job offer.

Sir, there are some people who making fool to jobsickers and getting money from there accounts. One of them me too. They stole money from my account that is 22200. I m really feel what to do now l. Please take an action. And stop this crime. This hackers are from gurgaon or delhi. I have phone numbers of them. If you want that numbers i will send it to you.

I was looking for a change therefore i opt to shine.com but later when i received a call they asked me to pay inr 3363.00 for internal/priority hiring later when so called consultant was appointed to me he asked to pay for 6118.00 for employment verification and then 8495.00 for education verification. Even after these they are asking for 13859.01 (In the name of visual resume for experienced professionals, job search guidance with job thought report, super express). Still there are no calls or emails from companies i haven't pay the last amt. 13859 therefore whenever i complain that i have paid 17976.00 still no call from companies they always excuse because i haven't paid the last amount. Who asks this much amount from candidate? I was so needy of job still i paid this huge amount. It will be great if you can please help in getting refund.

Abhinav singh a recruiter of shine.com called up saying my cv was deleted for apollo white clinic and the registration process requires me to pay 3540/- followed by 10030/- for document verification and the 21840/- for some final verification process which he said would be the last n final payment. I paid him all the amount this far. Now he has asked me to pay 42000/- before fixing my interview which i haven't paid. He has mailed me receipts of the payments i have done and said that it will all be refunded once i join. But i feel that he is a fraud because shine.com claims they don't take money from candidate's. Kindly look into the matter and i expect complete refund of the amount paid so far
