On 23rd June 2012 at arround 3 pm I was watching STARCJ alive Network online shoping channel, on my TV at home.
A kitchen Combo set containing a Food Chopper, Sandwitch/Grill Maker and Cordless Electric Kettle was on display at a cost of Rs 1999
and a free gift was to be given. The free gift on display was a Four cotainer(placed one over the other)Lunch Box of Cutting edge brand worth Rs 1699/-.
Before booking the order on given phone no:[protected], I asked their representative that if the free gift as shown on the TV will be given to me, he said,"yes you will gwt the same. I booked the order. Soon I got a massage on my mobile that order sa been booked vide No: [protected] for cash Rs 1999 payable on dilivery.

But on opening of the dilivery box we found that the free gift is not the same as displyed on TV and confirmed by STAR CJ representative while booking order. The Lunch Box dilivered is of diffrent make of low quality and also not of the shape as displyed on the TV Screen.

    After watching STAR-CJ Channel on 01-April-12, we ordered a Home combo item which included Bedsheets, toilet/bathroom set and bath towels, with some free items mentioned by the company in the advertisement. We received the parcel withiin few days. After that we noticed that the Bath towels included in the combo were not in the package. We lodged the complaint immediately. I was assured of the call, but recd it when i was busy and i was told that i will get a call again for more details. Till Today, no call have been received from Star CJ about my complaint. STAR CJ does not maintain complaint database and everytime when i call, i have to explain the topic from beginning. They did not give me complaint number yet. I am a working professional and when i asked my wife to call them and check the status, they just refused to provide any details. The complaint that i have against star CJ is following:
    - Non delivery of ordered items even after complete payment 2.5 months ago and reminding them multiple times
    - No Compalint number given even after calling multiple times
    - They should entertain the person providing full details on order. After such a long time, definitely, a close relative may do a follow which they should allow.
    - STAR CJ customer service does not solve the problems and do not provide complete info, they are rude sometimes and useless.

    Below is my order number, which SHOWs Delivered in their website (really strange).

    I am not expecting a phone call now, but want STAR CJ to deliver remaining items from my order immediately. If not, refund my money back.

    After logging this complaint, STAR CJ called us and gave us a promise to deliver similiar items as they do not have stock. Again, they confirmed delivery of certain items, but as usual everything committed by them is not received yet. STAR CJ is not honoring their committment on what they have promised. Immediate action is necessary.

      I had ordered a black color Karbonn android mobile phone from starcjalive.com and I received the product on 12 June2012 through courier and to my horror when I opened the courier the color of the mobile phone was white and the box in which the mobile was kept was of black color and also there were supposed to be two free gifts along with the product but in it there was only one free gift, I am giving you the details of the courier from where I received the product--

        Would you like to place an order with Starcj live – Think Twice or else you will face problem !
        I was the regular buyer of Starcj, I was following the Promo Ad on television since last several days for a Karbon Mobile with the value of 4990 with two gift pack. I decided to purchase one, when I contacted them the customer desk is very courteous and ask for the details and verification. After satisfaction they ask you, should they confirm the order.
        When asked about the details of the product before confirmation their response is quick that only one white colour of product is available, when asked they are showing two colour the reply is its out of stock of heavy demand.
        When asked why are the showing promo of the product which is not available since so many days the reply is its not available.
        When going further about the gift offered with the product are similar to what they are showing , they reply is that it can be different.
        Then slowly they add that there are some other conditions also and that is they are not responsible for the replacement of the product or courier, you should directly deal with the dealer. They shall not be responsible.
        Now the question arises, if you are buying the product from you why should the customer contact the dealer and face the hassle & difficulties.
        It’s a warning to the buyers that be rest assured before buying the product from the Starcj or else you will be in trouble.

          STAR CJ Alive Complaint

          I want to lodge a complaint against StarCJ Alive. My name is Lajpat Kurdiya. I am registered customer with StarCJ Alive. My user id is “lajpatvinii” and my registered mobile number is “956****377”.
          I have booked product “Inalsa Food Processor Fiesta Roi” which quantity was two on 15th April 2012. My order number is “[protected]”.
          I received only one product on 20th April 2012. I complaint to StarCJ customer care service. They registered my complaint. I have re-registered my complaint more than twenty time. StartCJ executive called me five time only first call they gave me information that my complaint has been lodged. Second call I got a call from Shaloo she assured me that there was problem with ware house by mistake they delivered only one product “Inalsa Food Processor Fiesta Roi”. The delivery boy picked only one product he did not check quantity in bill and shortly I will receive my second product. Third call was unpicked call by me as they said but in reality I did not received any call. Fourth call Again Shaloo told me that she mailed to warehouse shortly I will get my second product. Fifth call they gave docket number through which they couriered my product via ARAMEX and gave me three number to track my product. I hardly reached to ARAMEX they told that they did not get any product to deliver me. It was again shocking news for me.

          I call daily to StarCJ Alive customer care they never tell me right status. Always they have similar answer for me like my complaint is already lodged. They will arrange a back call for me in 24-48 hours. They have forwarded my complaint. Surely I will get my product very soon.

          There is not any facility to check complaint status yourself. We have called each time to StarCJ customer care that is not free number ([protected]). They charged good amount to call them for telling their problem. What an irony first we did not get our product after paying and they charged also on customer care number.

          I made online advance payment on 15th April 2012 and It is almost two month about to complete. Still I am waiting for my product.

          This is my frustrated story.

          I have billed copy and I have recorded voice with customer care executives.

            I have order a jewellery collection on Star CJ of bangle size 2.6. But I received 2.4. I register my complain three times but each time I have delivered with 2.4 size instead of asked 2.6 size. All this is highly unprofessional. Great harassment. Spent too much time, money on weekly basis for complains.

            Big mistake at my end was that I have made a online payment before hand. Thus, now I am running after them to get the refund.

            I will strongly recommend you to stay completely away from this fake site to save your money, time and peace.

              I had ordered Easy Mop from STAR CJ of Rs .1,590 (Order No.[protected] on 28th April 2012. I have been told that product will be delivered to me within 5-7 working days which did not happen until 21st May 2012. Subsequently I canceled the order on 21st May 2012 for which I am still waiting for refund.

              Please help me getting the refund.

                I ordered Vritika's pack of 4 unstitched dress material via order no.[protected], that was delivered to me after 5 days within Mumbai, to receive I bunked my office for 3 days as the courier people dont promise to deliver the product as per customer's comfort. After my patient wait I got the product, luckily the same day I thought to open and see it as I was to go outstation for next one week. To my shock and surprise, the suit material had big holes on it. 3 out of 4 dress materials were like that. I placed replacement request to pathetic customer service male representative as well as online. Till today they have not replaced it. Today when I made a call they say wait for 4 more days, we will get back to you. What online shopping we talk about when the customer is harassed at every point for no fault of his! And why despite receiving customer complaints, such product are still advertised?

                  I ordered articles after viewing on

When parcel was opened one article costing 2500 was missing . Since that day about 50 times complaints have been lodged on tel no [protected] . But material not received till date, caused loss of Rs 2500 and mental peace.

                    This is in reference with the order no. [protected], I had ordered 1 Sunflame 3 burner gas cooktop on 2-may-2012 the expected delivery time was maximum 10 working days, the other day i.e. 3-may I got a msg confirming that my order has been dispatched (through Aramex) without any tracking or AWB number in that msg. After a week (That is 8-may)
                    I called the customer care and asked for the tracking number, which I got from there, I tracked the consignment and was shocked to see that they have sent the consignment back to shipper alleging that the customer had refused to take the delivery which was not the case, neither any of there agent came to my house nor I got any call from there side When I called the courier company they said that it was asked to sent back from the shipper. After that I called Star cj customer care and told them the whole story, but for my surprise they had no update regarding the shipment, the executive told me to wait till that day, and assured that I will get the shipment. But I dint get anything that day too, then the other
                    day (9TH May) I again called the customer care and asked for what’s happening at that time also they dint have any update regarding my shipment, after a whole lot of arguments one of the executive transferred my call to the supervisor and he assured me that I will get the consignment till 16-may (10th working day) for sure, Again which didn’t happen. I called the customer care on 17-may, that time too they didn’t have any update, they told me that they will give me a call back regarding the same the same day but I didn’t get any call, again on 18-may I called the customer care told them the story again one of the senior executive told me to wait till the time he will be in touch with the courier service and will call me back, but again I didn’t get any call from him the whole day at last at around 6pm I called them again and for my surprise the executive told me that my complaint has been registered that day only so it will take more 48 hours, I asked him to transfer my call to the supervisor , and they transferred my call to some Mr. Alok, he was not aware of any thing , I asked him to transfer my call to the supervisor I last talked but he refused to do so, hence I had to tell him the whole story again, he was not at all interested in my frustration and complaint rather he was irritating me with the same line of waiting for 48 hours. He has not given me any update whether I will get the shipment or I will get my money back. I was really not aware of the kind of service and the behavior of the executives, otherwise I would have never ordered from star cj.

                    During all those end number of calls no executive gave me any complaint no. neither I got any update regarding the same. I do online shopping and have never faced such a problem. I ordered for a cooktop which is a necessity and had an urgency for the same. I don’t understand what kind of service star cj is providing and what do they expect from your customer. I’m still in waiting for the solution.

                    Star CJ — Order Not Delivered

                    We have booked an artificial Jewellery Set of Sia Utsavi Collection from Star CJ on Oct 18, 2011 and made an online payment. The order number is [protected]. The company commits to deliver its product within a week or 10 working days. We have been following up with the company for last 10 days or so, but did not get any positive response of delivering the product of time. Its almost more than 20 days since we have booked the order. We have got the message on Oct 25, 2011 that the order has been dispatched from their side and when we call them to know the status of our product, the representative is unable to give any answer. They sometime even told us that the product have been dispatched but the problem is with the Courier company. But when we took the number of courier company they tells us that the product haven't been received by them. We don't know what the problem is with this company. Is it trying to take people's money and don't provide the product and let the consumer gets irritated and frustrated.

                    Please do some urgent action.

                    My name is Prashant Dwivedi and I am a second time victim of an extremely incapable and pathetic online shopping company STAR CJ. I ordered a 25 pcs tea 2 sets from this poor company on 30th November to gift on my brother's and was assured that the product will be delivered to me in 5 working days. My order number was[protected].

                    After waiting until 9th of November when the product was delivered only 1 set,even after several promises and numerous phone calls made to STAR CJ, I had to cancel the order because I was going out of station.

                    Since then till date (14/12/2011), I have been contacting STAR CJ daily inquiring about the refund that has not reached my HDFC credit card. And the representative on the other end only gives me one answer that "your complaint has been raised and some one from the complaints team will call you in 24 hours" which has not happened till date.

                    I had no other option other than to raise this issue here and I seriously willing to sue STAR CJ with the way I have been treated and dealt with. They are extremely incapable lot of people with least interest in their customers and I will not recommend any one to use this company for any purchases.

                    I am looking forward for compensation from this company for the hassles I had to go through and if any further actions are required, I am ready to take this further. This kind o[censored]nprofessional behaviour cannot be tolerated and I am extremely annoyed with the way I have been treated I wasted my time and money following up with my request on daily basis.

                    I am looking forward for a speedy resolution for this issue and obviously some serious fines imposed on this company causing inconvenience to the customer and I know I am not the only person impacted by this, there are several other victims.

                    Hi, This is in regards to the order # [protected] for 2 quantity of Home Power Laundry Hanger for which i paid Rs. 3598/- on STARCJ.COM on 09/12/2012. However i received only 1 piece when Aramex delivered it to my address. I even told the courier person that we had ordered 2 pieces but he said that the other piece will be delivered in a day or two. ( I made sure that I signed only for one product & I wrote while receiving that "only 1 product delivered"). Its been ALMOST a month now but there is nothing that got delivered, i have been calling on their customer care almost everyday, have spoken with several supervisors & executives & they all keep telling me that they have raised the complaint & the back end team will call me which never seems to happen. They are not being professional at all!
                    Would really appreciate your help on this !

Time waste because they will not deliver your product neither before time and nor after time. So choose homeshop18.com at least they are stick to their words they will delivering the product on before time. I don;t know why the starcj is in market to make the people fool. Kindly banned on him in india. My order no is [protected] for smart gym which was booked on 27 Aug 2014 and till now not 14 sept 2014 I am waiting for it. No one from management is answering on facebook and from call center. Shame on Starcj owners and management team.

                      i did order for the reebok shoes combo pack. due to the quality issue i requested for the return of the product. my order no. is [protected].
                      They registered my return request and told me that they will pick it from my home within 10 working days. I requested for the return on 21th february 2012. Now 3 months are going to pass, but they did not pick the product. i have called them atleast 30 time. each time they say that sir we will pick it in the next 2 days. i think this company is a complete fraud.

                        Today is 11th day since I placed the order with starcj.
                        When can I expect the delivery of my ordered item. There is no status update in my zone page. My order no is [protected]
                        I have sent you many mails but didn't get single response. Very poor service. :(
                        I called-up the customer care but they are giving false promises that I will receive in 2 days.
                        Now on wards I will refrain from starcj and advise others too.

                          Star cj live confirmed cancellation of the product(3 Kurtis)delivered by cash on delivery.( order no [protected]) I have made repeated calls to them over a month to take back the product and refund of the money. Every time they give the answer that the matter will be settled .But nothing has happened. Since then I've orderd for other items and they are instantly processed and the delivered but I have to reject the consignment since they have not honored the refund of the first order.

                          I request you to kindly arrange for the return of the cancelled consignment and the refund of the money without any further delay.You should prompt in the refund as you are in the despatch of the order. My experience with you is very discouraging and it amounts to cheating of customer.

                            starcj have given me a coupon of Rs. 200 on my birthday i.e., on 3rd may, 2012. which is to be used in a purchase of above 1000. so i odder a product online. but the online payment is not processing. i called the customer care twice, but the are not suggesting me any proper way to claim. this procedure is wasting my precious time. so my complaint is why they are so fake, if they do not want to give any discount on coupons then why are they wasting my time. but now because i have wasted my time. i want them to give me discount as per the coupon value and take my online or off line payment and deliver it to my home.

                              Dear Sir,

                              We ordered a set of air tight containers from Star CJ Network India Private Limited through telephone on 04/03/2012 vide Invoice No. :[protected]Order No. : [protected], the details of which are as follows:

                              Microwavable Dishes and Spoons 0.00

                              The above mentioned ordered was delivered to us on 6/03/2012 and a sum of Rs. 2100/- was paid to the delivery boy as the nature of contract was Cash on Delivery.

                              However, later when we checked the pieces in order we found that covers of containers (Item Code: 104314, details mentioned above) were missing.

                              Immediately we called in the company to complaint about the defect in delivered goods and request for proper delivery of the order. However, no action was taken by the company in regard to our compalint and again we rang in the office of the company on 30/03/2012 and were again promised that our complaint will be made good very soon.

                              However, till date no redressal has been taken in respect of our grievance.

                              Now we would like to take a legal action against the company for non delivery of proper order and compensation in respect of the delay on behalf of the company.

                              Kindly help us for the same.

                                I k.k.kulshretha of Agra made an order for ‘snack maker’ through net banking on 5/3/12 and paid 1499/- to starcj. My order no was [protected]. On 7/3/12 they informed me by sms on my mob. [protected] that the order has been dispatched on my address given to them. After a weak ,delivery was not received by me,then I made an enquiry,I was told that as the item was found damaged by their franchisee, it was returned. Your
                                Amt. will be refunded within a weak. After a weak or so I enquired it was not credited to my bank a/c, they registered a service request .In the same way whenever I contacted to them on customer care phone they simply registered service request and repeated the same dialogue. It happened 4 times. On saying to let me connect to the supervisor they started a tone ranged but never connected. It seems that it is their gimmick to befool the customer. and hush-up money. They do not provide their address any where so that some one may reach them. As we have no way to reach them you are requested to take action against them by digging out their whereabouts and save public against such type of frauds.

                                  i bought a inalsa food processor from strcj india online on date 9.3.12 .but the goods delivered was damaged.i contacted them frequently ,mailed them several times.every time they say yes it will be replaced but till now ie. 30.4.12 there is no solution came from the company.i want to lodge a legal complaint against such fraud company. so that in future others may not be cheated.

                                      I have a complaint against the star cj alive( online shopping store)
                                      I purchased semsung 28 ltr. Convection microwave from star cj in the month of March 2012.
                                      They have an online shopping channel on tata sky. there they showed the commercial of semsung 28 ltr. Convection microwave. In that deal there was few free gifts they showed on tv. There was a chopper + hand blender worth Rs. 2600/- along with this microwave, I ordered it, but when the product delivered to me the chopper+hand blander was not the same as they had shown on tv, it was small in size & capacity. which is useless for me. Also the cost of the product was 1990.but they have showed the product of Rs.2600/-
                                      I registered complaint to their customer care, but no one trying to understand my problem. after so many attempt they got agree to change it but ironically they have send the same product in exchange, which i did not received.
                                      Now they are not listening, they are saying that “ product is the same but we have taken the picture by zoom thats why its showing large in commercial....”
                                      I have the picture of the tv commercial as well,i have forwared it to them also to judge it by themselves. But nothing happened yet. They are not listening now.
                                      I am feeling cheated & helpless.Please help.
