We have been using Siemens brand for home appliances for many years and performance for all these machines were excellent. They were totally reliable so far and after sales service was also quite good.

We brought a double door refrigerator from Dubai in 2014 as we came back and settled in Kerala. Around two years back there was a complaint registered and local service person came and attended the compliant. He charged Rs.700 for visit plus repair charges.

Now when we had a complaint four days back, they are asking Rs.3000 for visit plus repair charges . Why such an increase in charges just for attending a complaint in two years? I am afraid they are taking advantage of the situation that the refrigerator is not functioning for almost 4 days.

Please find the response we got from the service center, which still insist on giving 3000 per visit to attend the visit. and they are saying they don't guarantee any of their services. Even thought we had imported this model of refrigerator, the model was available for sale in India. therefore their argument that they won't be able to support the imported refrigerator do not stand.

Greetings from BSH Home Appliances.



Kindly recollect the discussion we had related to the imported Siemens Products.

As informed to you we at BSH India are not exposed to many imported products for servicing. Nor do we have the spare parts with us.

Based on your special request to support this product we, as a gesture of BSH India goodwill and one off case, would visit and try to address the matter to the best of our ability.



Considering the special circumstances as mentioned above we share the following with you with a request that you as a customer agree to that.



1. We would undertake the service attention to the products in good faith with the best of our ability and skills and state that despite our best efforts there might still exist possibilities that a) we may not be able to repair the products or b) the repaired products would not function perfectly or c) the products would fail again.

2. We would share with you / customer our diagnosis and propose the required spare parts, however as these product is imported, our diagnosis may not be correct and the spare parts requirement may change after we fit in the initially ordered spare parts. We would again share the new requirements with you.

3. The cost of spare parts considering that they would be specially ordered and flown in to India would be paid by the you/customer in advance.

4. No spare parts warranty or service warranty would be applicable.

5. Repair charges of INR 3000 per visit per product will be applicable.

6. Repair charges will be applicable irrespective of the successful repairs / completion of work.

7. We regret our inability to guarantee the success of our repair efforts and also would not be able to assure that the products would not need further repairs in future.

    1. Pl refer to my order id : [protected] dated 19 dec 2017.
    2. It is almost 7 months plus that my refrigerator, since purchase vide d j appliance, pune invoice no. Pun/sa/47/17-18 dated 25 aug 2017, has been showing malfunctioning, but service technicians at your end have not been able to either rectify the same nor give me a solution to my grievance.
    3.in fact they have been passing the buck, wich is not expected from a so called, so heard, reputed company called siemens.
    4. May i request you to kindly employ your good offices and have my refrigerator replaced with a fresh piece, appreciating the fact that having spent an amount of rs. 1, 40, 000/-, i am not ready to i am approaching the consumer forum now for redressal of my grievances, since, i presume, its beyond your control, any longer.

    I have same kind of issue. Not expected from Siemens...
    Dishwasher is not working efficiently. Many times powder is not taken and utensils are not cleaned properly.And from two days i.e 14/6/2018 the display is not working, nothing gets displayed on the screen when the power supply is on.

      Registered on[protected], engineer visited on[protected].
      Engineer inform the part of freezer damage and once oder will be available for replace in 7 to 8 days. Further we confirm the order same time.
      But till time neither call from co's person or engineer about status of order of part, till time freezer is non working in heavy summer season.

      Always we have to call to service engineer for what is the status of part, even though call via customer care though but till no response.

      So surprise the esteemed company service is poor service, no one bother about customer's requirements.

        Have booked siemens refrigerator on 18 january 2018. They promised me the delivery in a month but still not received the product. I have made 50% payment for it. Many times i wrote mail to djapl but no response. Its been 6 months now and like beating my head against the wall. Now i am asking my money back. Its clear case of cheating. I had also posted the complaint before and i had been asked about the my details which my husband shared. He was told that we will get delivery by end of may 2018. But again a false promise. Further without delivery or money back, my earlier complaint is marked as resolved. I am calling dj office. I tried on saturday and monday but no one is picking up. I mean what the hell is going on...

          SUBJECT: NON WORKING OF WASHING MACHINE DESPITE REPEATED FOLLOW UP

          Dear Sir
          Complaint for non-functioning of machine was made on Toll Free Number :[protected] for repair of machine was made on 8th, March, 2018. Followed by repeated mail on Email ID service.[protected]@siemens-home.BSH-Group.com.

          SUMMARY OF REDRESSAL/NONREDRESSAL OF COMPLAINT:
          (1) On 11th March, M/s Siemens send a technician who told that there is SCALE DEPOSITION. Technician sold SCALE remover and did not even checked the machine. It was categorically asked whether Spares for Model No. WM201517N/16. On this Technician told that machine has no problem only scale has been deposited.
          (2) On reporting the issue at toll free number one new person came and told PUMP is not working.
          (3) Pump was installed after 20 days by a new technician but he could not made the machine functional and CARBON is out.
          (4) After 10 days a new technician came and replaced CARBON, but could not made the machine functional
          TILL this M/s Siemens has charged Rs. 9000.00 (Rs. 6500+600+800) in phases
          (5) Now M/s Siemens toll free respondent is saying that COMPLETE CIRCUIT IS TO BE REPLACED AT A COST OF RS. 5000.00, but not ensuring whether machine will be made functional or not.
          (6) On sending mails on mail ID: service.[protected]@siemens-home.BSH-Group.com, following response is being sent in each mail and never a clear picture as to whether machine will be made functional or not. ( ANNEXURE-I)

          After 02 months after charging such an hefty amount of Rs. 9000.00, I think, each time a new story is being propagated to earn more Money by M/s Siemens Ahmedabad. Details of complaints are attached as ANNEXURE-I

          May please look into the services rendered by M/s Siemens and resolve the issue of non-functioning of Siemens Watching Machine. Hoping, for early resolution of complaint.

            This complaint is not resolved yet... Still it is marked as resolved.. I had been promised to deliver the refrigerator in a month and still there is no delivery yet. My husband had shared all details. We trying to call you and there is no one picking up the phone. How can you mark the complaint as resolved before delivery or money back. My husband also asked to return the money but we are frequently been told that our order is placed.

              I had booked a dishwasher on 26th january 2018 by making a 50% advance payment. I was told that the delivery will take 30 to 45 days.

              It is now close to 3 months and i have not received my dishwasher. Moreover, despite repeated follow up there has been no response from dj appliances pune. They do not pick up the phone and emails go unanswered. I went to the show room on 15th and was assured that someone from their management in mumbai will call us on tuesday, 17th april. However, no one called.

              I now suspect that i have been defrauded as the show room is also closed now. I am now seeing multiple such complaints on facebook.

              What action is seimens taking against this dealer. I would like to file a police/consumer court complaint.

                My name is laxman alase. I am from pune and my registered mobile # is [protected]. I had lodged complaint regarding my dish washer on 9.3.2018 amd requested to arrange visit of engineer. Accordingly engineer visited on 16.3.2018. My machine's problem is it do not work properly and unable to clean utensils properly. Your engineer checked the machine and advised us not to use outdated detergent, liquid and salt. He added that if problem is not resolved, then contact us immediately and such call will not be chargeable. Accordingly i have changed all set and run the machine but result was same. The utensils were not cleaned and powder was showing on it. Then i contacted engineer directly who was lastly visited. But he didn't come. So i booked complaint with your call center but till date no one has visited. Only after lodging complaint, engineer call us and ask for visit charges of rs. 800/-. When it comes to know that it is continuation call and it is not chargeable, he close the call without visit. Now one month is passed and time you may charge me visit fee. Which i can not pay. So look into the matter personally and resolve my problem.

                      I dr n k yadav had purchased siemens washing machine and dishwasher in last week of february 18. Installation was done. I noticed leakage water from water pipe connections. I lodged a complaint. I was informed that complaint will be attended in 48 hrs. More than 72 hrs have passed, inspite of repeated telephone call there no response. This is poor service.                           This is to inform you that regarding Dishwasher manufacturing default issue. We bought siemens dishwasher sn236101KE in from your dealer Audio Voice India pvt ltd vide there invoice num 2845 dated-07.11.2017..after a month Dishwasher leakage problem and machine never worked properly.

                          I registered complaints so many times for water leakage problem and always engineer came and said this is manufacturing fault.

                          I contacted customer service every week and i got the same reply.

                          Till now my dishwasher is not worked. I being a valuable customer is really disappointed and frustrated still i want to
                          (1)Take the machine back and replace with new one
                          and if this is not possible
                          (2) Take the machine back and refund us money.

                            Customer name : achiamma abraham.
                            I had called on the 29th of jan 2018 to advise of a faulty washing machine. The call centre person promised to send a technician within 48 hours. We called again on the 1st of feb as no one came and was promised a technician urgently. The technician came on the 2nd at 6pm.
                            He advised that a capacitor was required to be changed and could be provided by saturday the 3rd of feb and took rs800 as service charge.
                            We called again on the 6th as we didn't hear anything. Again the call centre promised to escalate and said that it would be fixed by wednesday.
                            It is now the 12th of feb and till now no one has bothered to inform us about what is happening. The washing machine is still faulty and has not been fixed. The repairman has not yet come with the capacitor to fix the machine.
                            This is a really unacceptable and poor service delivery.
                            I was happy with the product but extremely unhappy with the service provided.

                              Respected siemen's company,
                              Recently, i bought a dishwasher worth rs 37, 000
                              It was delivered to my home on 5th february
                              Which was to be followed by a person coming for installation,
                              But till date, nobody has come to install the device
                              Worst of all, when we try to contact the customer service
                              They always have the same reply of "wait till the afternoon, someone will come".
                              Now, what is the use of spending such a huge amount of money on a company that doesn't even care to install a device, such poor customer service is horrendous to the name your company boasts about.
                              I would urge u to look into the matter asap, by tomorrow at the most, else i will return the product, coz i guess even u know
                              U aren't the only people selling dishwashers
                              I hope i will get a positive response soon

                                This is a complaint against the gm home solutions which offers service and repair for seimens in noida.

                                Complaint: rude behavior of engineer and different estimates by engineer and from the service center executive.
                                Engineer called and over the phone he even before checking the washing told that machine has a broken drum etc.
                                Upon insisting to visit, he again concluded the same without opening the machine top etc. For any other issue.
                                Then, i confronted him to check further.
                                He gave the estimate for rear tub and drum and checked that heater was fine. Estimate was around 11000/- fo the parts etc. Then he included the charges of rs2000/- to take and bring back the w. Machine to their location for repair.

                                Question here is why should i be paying for the transportation charges here? Why can't rear tub and drum be changed at my location? There is no space crunch at my location.
                                Engineer who visited gave me estimate of 11400/ + 2000 transport charges.
                                Whereas their customer care is quoting for 14000/- for the repair without any transportation charges and rs 2000/- for the transportation charges.

                                They have not provided the any break up charges for the parts.

                                  I had purchased a siemens washing machine model no w/mel 6 kg-08b260in ion 10 apr 2014. I had paid for an extended warranty cover with code no 172872 by croma which covered this machine upto 10 apr 2018. L ast month i noticed rusting at two places on the body. On my complain to siemens cust care, their technicians came and told me that that the rusting has occurred due to leakage of water from inside the machine which is a manufacturing defect and advised to complain to croma due to its coverage under extended warrantee. Croma people came and took the machine to their service centre and now they are telling me that body damage is not covered under warrantee and i will have to pay for the cost of repairs.

                                  Now the question is that the rusting has occurred due leakage of water from inside the machine which is a manufacturing defect as confirmed by siemens technician. The rusting has definitely not occurred due to any misuse by me. It may have occurred due to substandard material because a washing machine is not expected to catch rust just after four years.

                                  Therefore why should the customer pay for body damage due to rusting and what is the purpose of extended warrantee.

                                  I would earnestly request the higher management to look into the issue dispassionately and get my machine repaired asap as i am without a washing machine for last two months.

                                    On november 21, 2017 i called siemens service for servicing my washing machine and got connected to reliable services, who do washing machine service although they are not authorized service partners of siemens. Thinking that they are authorized, i let them service the machine for which they charged some 8000 rupees. The technician swiped my credit card twice by mistake, thereby making me pay twice the actual amount. When i found this out some days later, i called them, and send them the swipe acknowledgement sms for the two transactions.
                                    They said they would refund the amount in 7 days. For the past one month, i and my wife called them many times and were told that it will be done the next day, which never happened.
                                    I am not sure why they show this injustice to me even though i did their payment right after the service was done.

                                    I hope someone would take notice, and resolve this as early as possible.

                                      We bought siemens dishwasher sn240200in from your dealer shakti ezone pvt ltd vide there invoice num 24510 dated 09/07/2014.in the mid of may 2017 machine developed some snag and a service complaint on your phone [protected] was lodged. Your company's authorized v care solutions, ahmedabad deputed mr vinod on 02/06/2017. He inspected the dw and said that for the repair he took machine to his is service center. He reported that "heating pump" of the machine requires to be replaced. We paid rs 8000/- for the heat pump and rs 800/- service charge.
                                      But then the machine never worked and the next day we contacted the v care solution proprietor mr jitendra and he assured to send service man again. He send mr ashwin, his technician, he also tempered with the machine and confirmed it will run. But since the machine never worked. We continued to contact mr jitendra as well mr ashwin from almost all the family member mobile number but they respond. We contacted siemens customer care multiple times and spoke to mr rajiv, mr sadaf and mr melvin, but no fruitful result or reponse was given. Thereafter we contacted your ahmedabad area manager mr vipul patel on his mobile number +91-[protected] and he assured to address the grievance in a 1 week. Then we tried to reach him number of times and every time he assured to look into the matter and many a time he also said that either he is in chennai or amreli or outstation. Lastly, mr k. K. Pandey visited our place on 07/01/2018. During his visit he took all the snaps of the bills and history of the complaints. At that time we also told him that the replaced heating pump was never returned to us. He assured to resolve the issue in 2 days but after waiting 10 days, we again contacted him. He came out with the new story that the control panel of the machine needs replacement and the cost of the equipment is rs 7000/- + service charge.
                                      I being a valuable customer is really disappointed and frustrated with the product and services of the mnc like siemens. My family had to undergo a great agony during last six months.

                                      my Siemens dish washing machine 4 year old and we use very occasionally when my maid absent.
                                      Recently i found that heating in not happening. after check with technician heating pump has gone. Now he quoted 10k. it is waste my money investing on dishwasher. Just it is prestige icon in the home thing else.
                                      Did they help you? I was about to get a similar repair done but these customer care people are not providing the warranty details in written.

                                        I had complained in mumbai to siemens for washing machine not working nutronics enterprise which attends their complaint told me finally on 30 th dec that a pipe who release vaccuum is cut and will come in 5 days (This visit was after umpteen phone calls made)

                                        On 8 jan again i called up nutronic enterprise as no revert from them i was told part is in-transit and will reach in 5 days. I insisted that they give me a final date - then came another version that we have not found the part and searching for it. Then i insisted how many days it will take them to search then there person said part is not available better replace the machine. This is after 1 month of follow up. The machine was earlier washing but not drying. After various visits from ms. Nutronics the. Machine has totally stopped working - gitesh bhatia

                                        It’s not getting the power supply somehow.
                                        Get checked with electrician, there is no problem found in electrical point.
