I have purchased Skoda Rapid (BR 1BY 7156) from Singh motors. We have complained about mileage issue to the service center and Skoda customer care. Car never gave a mileage more than 12 kmpl on highway and in city 8-9 kmpl. Where as diesel skoda is supposed to give more mileage. When we took car to customer care they said clutch plate and power steering needs to be changed for which we need to pay. Firstly they were no able to help us with the issue now again asking to put up more MONEY. Is Skoda so delicate that its clutch needs to be changed in 9000 kms. If it does need to be changed they should give warranty and mileage issue also needs to be dealt with not that finding new problems. Any ways we waited for a year and Skoda India did not give proper response. So now I want car to be replaced or money to be refunded. Its a hard-earned money and I didn't pay for such a defective product. If all Skoda car is so delicate then please refund My money and take tube car. There are many more good durable vehicles in market.

    I took delivery of the vehicle Skoda Rapid from Gurudev Motors Arumbakkam Chennai on 26/06/2015 .From day one the vehicle developed a technical snag i.e. while driving the vehicle automatically tracking to the left side, so to keep the vehicle in control I have to hold the steering firmly, which caused in shoulder pain. I went to show room and reported this problem to the manager Mr. Ruben and to Mr. Raja the sales person, who in turn took me to the workshop downstairs and arranged a mechanic for a test drive and we went for a test drive. The mechanic asked me to leave the vehicle so that they can check the alignment of the wheels, accordingly I left the vehicle and no job card was given to me. In the evening, I was informed the vehicle was ready after a minor adjustment in the wheel alignment. After two days the same problem occurred and I took the vehicle to your workshop. During that time they checked everything and said there might be tyre fault and interchanged the front left tyre & rear side right tyre and delivered the vehicle. The next day, again I have faced the same problem. In addition to that, the A.C. Compressor of the vehicle started to cut off automatically leading to suffocation. Again I went to the dealer and the vehicle was test driven and the mechanic asked me to leave the vehicle, so that they could ask the tyre manufacturer to check whether there is any manufacturing defect with the tyre. Everything was noted in the job card and the vehicle was left with the dealer. On 13/07/2015, the work shop engineer called me saying that all my complaints regarding the vehicle are attended and I could take the delivery of the vehicle after a test drive. Accordingly on 14/07/2015, the vehicle was test driven with your engineer Mr. Jawahar by my side .To my dismay none of the problems were solved, the tracking and the AC automatic cut off problem was still there even Skoda workshop engineer noticed this problem. But none of them have no answer to this and the vehicle was not delivered till now. In order to check the AC compressor problem they need to remove the bumper, compressor etc and send the results of the compressor reading to Pune and it will take three days. First of all I want to know from you whether I have purchased a new vehicle or a scrap assembled as a new vehicle .Is there any justification for leaving the new vehicle at dealer’s workshop for more than 7 days within 15 days of delivery to a customer. The mental agony is such that my office work is disturbed and I have sleepless nights .Either I want replacement of the new vehicle or the cash paid towards the cost of the vehicle.Looking forward for a quick response from Skoda.

      Hi Team, This is to apprise you that I drive Skod rapid 2014 Model, car went for 1st service to Jai auto in delhi since day one cars break was givving problem and they identified barke hub is not working fine, i left my car and they changed the same and since then the car is giving more problem and from front there is lot of noise which is coming. this needs to be looked into on priority hence i shall move to Consumer court.

        In nov 2014 our car is making unsual sound so we decided to take it to the skoda serivce center in vki then they said one part needs to be chaged which will cost you around 1.5 lacs so we paid the amount 156, 502 on 27 dec 2014 and they returned the car claiming that that unusual sound will nt come in future. Then again after some time same sound starts coming so we again decided to take it to the sericve center on june 2015 they billed an amount of rs 31, 724 and return the car on 2 june 2015 and now again the same sound starts coming again they billed on 10 july 2015 an amonut of rs 2811 eve after spending around 2 lacs and even after 8 months they are not able to repair our car this is the worst ever experience faced by brand like skoda.

          sir/Madam, Recently underwent the service at 34000 kms at marikar engineers cochin.Within two days of delivery, the car started showing issues with the ABS system.The warning light is always lit. Sir, please look into the matter, it is very frustrating that something or the other keep coming up with the car. I stay 53 kms away from the service station and it is not possible for me to always take the car for servicing.I already paid 14000 for the last service and am afraid whether the repairing of ABS will cost me again.Please help me sir.

          Sir/Madam,
          After inspection, i was told that the left rear wheel sensor has failed and needs to be replaced.It will cost me 4000 and labour charges extra.What shall i do sir?? Other than the routine service, till now i have replaced the following list of items due to quality issues:
          1)Fuel lid lock (850)
          2)Disk polishing(1400)
          3)Suspension struts (2000). I had to replace this part because the tyres were showing uneven wear even after aligning.The service wasn't able to recognize the issue in the beginning, i replaced one tyre (4500).later on they told me replace the struts, which ultimately resolved the issue.
          4)Injector failure; skoda was kind enough to give me a grace warranty, but still i had to pay 4000 for the labour charges
          Now fifth one being the ABS that too within days of paid service which costed me 14000.
          I am very sorry sir, but i have to say that within this three years of ownership i have had enough.The car has run less than 34000kms.
          Please issue me a replace free of cost..this time i wont be paying for the labour charges also.because since last november i have paid a total of 21, 400 at the marikar service. You can enquire.Thank you.

          sir, i forgot to mention about the driver side window motor, which i replaced, costed me 12000, now its a total of 33, 400 since last november .All the replacement costs, mentioned are excluding the labour charges.

          Bad product with terrible after sales

          Had bought a SUBERB car. The car stops on the way midway. Have sent to service center who inform that this is normal since there is no defect found in the car that the company can detect. Can someone help in finding me a solution

          my is showing ABS complaint for the 3rd time .its SKODA RAPID .we are spending more than rs.4000/- per year for this particular complaint .i guess this is a manufacturing defect. my car has completed 36000 KM .model of the car is 2016.

          Dear Sathyan,
          My Rapid too has the same issues, i concluded that replacing the sensors from other manufacturers solves the issue. There are aftermarket sensors available online as well. For a change try those and get it replaced from a local mechanic.

            From last 12 days I have been noticing warning lights like ABS, Glow Plug System, Exhaust Inspection System, Power Steering, Handbrake warning lights (ON) whenever my Skoda Rapid Diesel runs for approx 5-10 kms. These lights stay ON and Speedometer becomes dead. This continues till I switch OFF and ON the vehicle and comes back after another 5-10 kms. Which ultimately results in lack of pickup and poor average. I have given my vehicle (RJ 45CA1843) twice to Giriraj Motors(Gurgaon-Haryana) but they were not able to identify and rectify the problem even when they kept the vehicle for more than a week. Below I have attached a photograph taken in moving car where all the warning light can be easily seen. AlsoI have conveyed this problem twice to Skoda but there was never a callback or feedback. I would request someone to kindly sort this issue (repair/rectify) as this is taking very long.

              Till today no one called me

              We almost paid around 28lcs for this car


              Total service time till date from the time of purchase is
              3 months for changing rear bumper
              1 month 17 days for issue regarding engine oil and airbag sensor
              13 days for oil change and driver seat adjustment memory switch
              1 month 16 days for replacing front window lifter
              And now it's 23days since I gave my car for starting problem (intermittent issue)
              Totally out of 2 years 4 months
              Car is in service centre for about 7 months

              Are u crazy? Come on skoda at least for "German brand" sake give good service

              And now the service centre ppl telling me that if we buy a luxury car like skoda superb we have to have a standby car for urgent use

I am proud to inform you that I am a part of the Skoda family after buying Skoda Laura which was indeed a dream come true for me after years of Striving for it. And my car no is KL11 AC 4406 . I must say I have had a fantastic Experience till now with the car but lately I have had car break down and it’s just travelled 93000 km and for your surprise I had just serviced my car at 92000 KM. But my car service history was perfect and I do service my car in authorized service centers only but still I am surprised that an international company like Skoda having engine troubles before it reach 1 lakhs km, the crank shaft was broken and it cause to make hole in engine and the estimate quote I received from the service center was 2.5 lakhs which is so hard for me to pay at the moment as I just done my service spending 40000RS In 92000 Km.I have Innova which is used 2.3 lakhs km and Toyota quails which is used 1.8 Km Which I never had engine trouble, comparing these two cars the maintenance cost for Skoda is very high and lasting of engine Is unsatisfied. I am requesting you to look in to this matter and provide a favorable response on this issue considering the total KM Of the car I used and my service History.                   Sir/madam, This is the second time i am contacting skoda through consumer complaints forum.I have had expressed my dissatisfaction with the quality of parts of my skoda rapid.This time its with the ABS warning light which doesn't go off.I did the routine service of the car on 10th Jun 2015 at Marikar, Cochin.The problem with the unit started today 17th of June.I had paid 14, 080 for the service which included the replacement of worn out suspension struts setting me back by Rs 2089.The point here is this particular part was replaced or attended to only this time.I had mentioned it during the last visit to the service center for issues regarding the injector.The Tyre at the left side has worn out unevenly.Now that, the problem has been sorted after this service, it is the ABS which is giving the head ache.The car has run just 33543 kms and i have all these issues cropping up one after the other.I am very much disappointed sir.Like i said before i regret joining the skoda family.Please look into the matter immediately.I frequently travel and cannot compromise on safety.Ph: [protected], Vehicle Number : KL7BT 4386

                    Dear Sirs, Please be advised, I own three Skoda cars; namely Octavia VRS, Skoda Laura and Skoda Superb. Superb being the most expensive of my cars has become useless to me now as the gear box has started making funny sounds, which seem to be increasing with every drive. The car has done only 44, 500 km and regularly serviced by Krishna Auto sales, Chandigarh. Details as below: Chassis No. TMBBED3T5BA301304 Eng No. CLJ002478 Manufactured 2011 Upon checkup at Krishna Auto sales I was told that such a problem has never occurred earlier. So various checks etc were carried out and ultimately I was informed that the gear box needs to be replaced. I was surprised, such an expensive car, sparingly and carefully driven by me has suddenly become useless. I feel that this failure is completely a manufacturing defect hence the gearbox should be replaced by the company free of cost and without causing further delays. Please advise.                       Dear Sir/Madam, We had booked a Skoda rapid car in the 1st week of May-2015 with a token amount from Senator Motors Pvt. Ltd. Goregaon.The dealer had promised us delivery of the vehicle in the 1st week of June, 2015. When we contacted them in the last week of May-2015 at the time of loan disbursement from Volkswagen finance, they told us the vehicle will be delivered as per promised date ie in the 1st week of June, 2015 & they told us to make the payment of our margin money but we told them we will make the payment whenever the delivery of the vehicle is ready & they agreed for the same. On 3rd June, 2015, we got a call from them to make the payment of margin money so that they could register the vehicle & deliver the same on 6th June, 2015. We made payment on the same day in the hope of getting delivery on 6th June. After making payment we have not recd any call from them till 6th June & then we called them for delivery of the vehicle but they told us that the vehicle was not ready & will be delivered in the next week. On 8th June, 2015, we recd a call from Volkswagen finance for due EMI to make sufficient balance in the account. On receipt of the call, we called Senator motors but they told us that the vehicle will be definitely delivered in the next week. On 10th June, 2015, I visited their showroom to get the status of delivery, at that time they promised to send the confirmation of date by mail within an hour but till date the mail is awaited. With continuous follow up on 12th June, 2015, they told us that they would deliver the vehicle on 16th June, 2015 . Today we called to confirm the delivery time for tomorrow but again I was told that the delivery of the vehicle would be only possible in the next week. Now I don’t know, when they will deliver the vehicle. I told him about the interest from the date of disbursement of loan till the date of delivery & compensation required for delay in delivery. I am sorry to say that such a dealer of Skoda damages the image of Skoda. I had the same experience for my earlier Skoda Rapid car that I purchased a year back. You are requested to please look in to the matter & resolve the same with interest & compensation. We hope for an immediate response and simultaneous action. Regards, Sunil Kanoi [protected]

                        There is a problem of over heating of engine and switching off problem we are facing in our skoda superb vehicle KA03 MP 6500, here servicing center and its technical team is such a worst that, they not even diagnosed the problem even after 4 visits each they took approximately weeks time for the same problem.and even they are not bothered to call customers regarding the service is first thing and even they will not bothered to pick up the calls when we call the advisers. Its a very pathetic way of treating the customers. Even after so many requests they are not willing to give a standby vehicles also. Better we will approach consumer court to get this sorted out and decided to never ever buy skoda in our life time again

                          It was purchased in August 2013. The car was not starting on June 01 2015 and the car was taken on tow to Skoda Service Center, Trivandrum for the repair with Kilometer reading 14, 399. The car was with the custody of the service center in Trivandrum till 10th June and was informed it is ready. We took the car from service center and on way the same problem happened. The car got broken down and not starting again. We waited there in road for 3 hours to seek your service, which is very very worse. Service center in Trivandrum kept the car for 10 days and used the car for 33 kilometers and they are not capable to find out what the problem is and did nothing to resolve the issue. The service center in Trivandrum is not at all taking any effort to find the problem as the car is still under warranty period and the service center took no effort in giving a replacement car also. We are 110km far from your service center and it is not easy to go and check the status in service center in Trivandrum. We really regret for buying Skoda Rapid and service is the worst we have ever experienced. The car is not yet 2 years old and we are already facing problems with the car.

                            Hi all, I had given my car near Electronic City service station to replace the back windshield which was damaged from a tree branch and it was replaced in the above mentioned service station. The representative (Vinod Kumar) who handled this case damaged my interior roof while replacing the windshield and is putting the blame on me saying that it was damaged when the branch fell on the windshield. You can see the photo of where exactly the branch fell and it's not even near the roof. While buying the car I was inquiring about other cars and the sales representative told me "Please do not compare such local company to our Skoda. We provide excellent service and the car service is top notch" but from the way I see it is you guys provide some service and the representative who handled the car is not even ready to take the blame. It was the representative's fault but I'm still "requesting" you guys to replace the interior roof for me for free of cost. IF you guys tell the same story then I'm gonna go to consumer court or publish in the newspapers and make sure that I am gonna bring your reputation down because it sure wasn't my fault.                               I gave my Skoda Fabia (Registered no. GJ06ED5075) for a regular yearly service and accidental repair job for my front and back bumper on 27th May with our city based Skoda Dealer “Torque Auto’. They took 10 days to complete the work that I found much longer then necessary. On 5th June Mr. Aarsh from Skoda Vadodara City Dealer Service Executive called me and informed me that they have to close service job and for that I have to give him approval over the phone. I questioned to him that how can I give approval over the phone without seeing the car? To which he replied that this is a company policy. But further to my argument he agrees to reply over sms that if later I found deficiency in service he will do the needful at no extra cost. Date 6th june, day for the delivery of my car I found my car ready, They had removed my tailored made seat cover which I had newly installed. When I checked my removed seat cover, I was socked to find that they were very dirty and there were stain on my seat cover and also damaged a bit. But they quickly cleaned the cover and after advising them that they should have take care with the cover I didn’t make much fuss about and settled my bill and left from the service station. On 8th Monday I had a plan for dinner with my friends and I decided to take Skoda Fabia this time. When I was driving I suddenly felt strong flair on my eyes due to scratches on my windshield and it became very difficult to drive. I was so upset to find those scratches on my windshield, which were not there before I gave my car for service. When I checked my car glasses I was socked to find that all my car glasses have scratches. Also there where tiny white dots spread on my side windows. I am speculating that they might have occurred due to paint job. Next day Morning on 9th June I called the Service Manager Mr. Aarsh and informed him about the issue. But instead of properly listening to my issue he completely denied that such an issue would have happened during the service. On the contrary he is expecting that I would have raised the issue during the time of taking delivery of my car and now he cannot do any thing about it. Whereas I took the delivery of a car in daytime and drove my car at night on 8th june. How can I inform him about the issue before I have faced such a situation? I went to the Service Station and shown the scratches on my windshield door glasses and rare windshield to the Service Manager and Mr. Sanket who is also in charge of servicing of car. To my repeated explanation about scratches the Mr. Aarsh and Sanket remained in denial. I am feeling very helpless and now left with no other option but to complain about it with the hope that my issue will be resolved. I have been a loyal customer for more the 5 years and I hope my loyalty will remain intact.

                                Hi sir/ma'am i was give the car for regularly service at jai auto okhla Delhi from the date 14th of may2015 service adviser name vinay solanki which as taking the car and note the observation . He was called me after 6-7 days and said to me sir your car service is ok and finalised checked ok. I was reached there after 1days morning and then checked the car when i did the on engine by key and checked the car i was found the fan running unnecessary automatically but a/c is cooling properly which is not this fault before that than i called mr.vinay and aware about this .he said reply me sir i once again check the car and called u after the check .i said why are create this problem when you checked the car at the time for received that time was this fan is working properly . Sir today i present at jai auto service centre, , after25 days but my car is not done and fan is not working properly and a/c is not cooling .then firstly i talk with adviser . but not giving satisfied answer. Only saying sir i check the problem. "sir last time i checked the car the fan is on unnecessary but a/c is cooling.and today i check the car a/c button is on and showing green light but it is not cooling." Sir, i am MBA student n my exam is running i face big problem for up n down n everyday taking paid cab which is very costly because i havn't any other vehicle. i haven't free time for sit jai auto .i am very upset so, i request to u please solve this problem.                                   vehicle met with accident on[protected] the next day vehicle was given for service to gurudev motors . rear side dick is got damaged. such damage in other companies are repaired within 10 days. whereas the so called service company even after the one month lapse no proper reply when the vehicle will be given. very very bad service. consumer advised not buy the skoda

                                    Dear Sir, I own Skoda Fabia Registration No. TN09 BH 9712 with Chasis No. TMBFKC5J7BG012793 & Engine No.CFW095584 dt.18/03/2011. I have sent the vehicle with complaint to set right the indicators in dash board glowing all the time, got delivered the vehicle after four days of retention. When asked Mr.Nelson from Gurudev Motors pvt. ltd, guindy, chennai. about the vehicle status on 3rd day, I was informed he was waiting for a part to be replaced on warranty in the suspension. Subsequent to the delivery, I found a lot of noise arising from suspension even when the vehicle runs in a good road. On this complaint left the vehicle for rechecking on 29/05/2015 to attend and rectify. Suddenly Mr.Nelson advising me to change the suspension both front and back which would cost of Rs. 20, 000.00. In no occasion we have complained about the suspension problem. We suspect the suspensions (shock observers) were unwantedly torned resulting in brake down. I am completely dissatisfied with the way I was handled. If this is routinely done to all the customers the existance of skoda brand vehicles inspite of being built excellently becomes questionable. We need your immediate attention in this issue.

                                        I regret of suggesting Skoda car to my Cusin brother.Recently his car starts to malfunction and because of Huge compaints thats coming with skoda products he had to sell it very cheap price and he blamed me.I dont belive the skoda to be worthy of buying their cars, So i make it a point that what ever good looking cars that come of their dealership i wont buy their cars nor do i suggest it. I came to know that Cochin Marikar motors is fraud dealership.So i request the concerned authorities to close all the dealership of Skoda in Kerala as well as all over india. I suggest you to close the Company as they are cheating the customers with low quality complaint products. Thank you
