Which dealer did you face this problem bro? I stays in Surat and got Skoda Superb. I never had any bad experience with the dealer here.

    Dear Skoda, I am an exciting customer of skoda rapid reg no: KL 42 G 9500. the vehicle was having a suspension problem from the beginning of time which is mentioned from the first free checkup and they said it would be fine after a few kilometres of drive. on the first service(20/1/14 invoice number 2776) they said there is a leak in the front shock absorbers and they promised me a replacement under warranty. but they said the shock absorbers was not in stock and did not replace in the next service also telling shortage in stock. we were following up and still there was no luck until 18/5/15. they did not call me and follow..i had to call them up and ask if stock was available.they said to bring the car and on 20/5/15 i gave the car for shock absorber replacement. on 21/5/15 by 4pm they said the car is ready and i picked it up. during the delivery they did not explain the complaints or replacement program.they just told the shock absorbers were replaced and they told to pay for suspension strut mount and its labour which was 2368+1348 respectively.which i payed, in the bill it was mentioned “done at replace sturt mount”(invoice number COCH[protected]. i asked them if they replaced the shock absorbers and they strictly told it was replaced and will not mention in the bill since it is under warranty. i suspected a fraud in their attitude. i asked to see the replaced shock absorbers and they refused to show it to me. after taking the car and driving it, i did not feel any difference and the complaint existed.so i checked for myself at wheel alignment center if the shock absorbers were replaced and i could see the old parts still there.they did not replace it. so i called them up and asked if they really changed the shock absorbers.they still said they replaced it. then i made a complaint in skoda office. they gave me the service manager number (Sajith) but he did not answer my calls. after a while the service advisor(Renjith) called me up and asked me “did u make a complaint in the office”. i told them that i came to know that they have not changed the shock absorbers.so in reply he said that the complaint was not the shock absorbers and it was the steering rack which was making the trouble.so i asked why did u lie me about telling that u changed the shock absorbers and why did u charge me for suspension stud mount i[censored] did not replace the shock absorbers(which is supposed to be replaced only if the shock absorbers is changed). he replied that he was ignorant about not replacing the shock absorbers and told me not to complaint anywhere and told me to bring the car next week so he will replace the steering rack for me. before writing this mail i called the service manager(Sajith) 5 times. he did not answer the call or call back even after he was on call waiting.he was purposefully ignoring me. this is my last attempt for letting skoda know about the bad experience i had for buying a skoda car.since there is a talk about the bad service that we get in marikar motors, i still believed in skoda and they let me down. as i am not getting any positive reply from skoda or marikar, i am going legally on consumer court.this just to notify that i had a very bad experience from skoda and marikar motors and they are still not being in any help..

      Clutch Problem

      I own a Skoda Rapid bought in march 2013 . It developed clutch issue in the first 15K km. They said it is due to Driving style. It also had a gear issue which was covered under warranty. The clutch was a paid replacement. Now the car has run close to 30K Km. Again the clutch and entire assembly has become faulty and once again they say it is due to Driving style. There are many other cars on Indian roads where we do not see such problems....

      The sagar auto tech dealer of bhopal is unnecessarily creating delays in rectifying clutch problem of Skoda rapid -MP04 CN 0331. Because of tight clutch driving since a year I am facing severe ache in my leg creating further health problems. Please look into the matter as soon as possible

        Hi, My Vehicle no MH04EF0463 On May 4th, 2015 I had observed coolant light indicator suddenly started blinking. I rushed to JMD auto service centre Bhandup, Mumbai for check up. Executive Mr Junaid ([protected]) attended the issue. It was told to me that coolant cable was damaged & to be replaced immediately & the cost will be approx Rs.500 I gave my consent to replace it immediately.. Surprisingly such a big brand like skoda told me that this cable part is not available & to be ordered from other service centres. Timeline given was 3-4 days. Having no option I am forced to leave my vehicle in your bhandup workshop. From then I am repeatedly following up with Mr Junaid - only deadlines are getting postponed. I am forced to travel in public transports & cabs from last 10 days due to this issue. I need immediate solution to this problem Regards, Prashanth

          All of sudden I am facing problem of vibration in the car, this is observed during AC is ON. Basis discussion with dealer of Skoda at Guragaon, this is technical problem and given to Skoda for the resolution. But seems they are helpless. I need permanent solution

            This is to inform you that we don’t want to change EGR cooler in my car. We have already changed two times the EGR cooler from C&T, Meerut dealership in Sep 11 & Dec’ 11 respectively and along with this, as per your advice we have changed one time HALF ASSEMBLY from your dealership i.e. M/s Oberai Auto, Dehradun in Feb’ 12 on your assurance that there will be no problem in vehicle in future. So, now, I am not interested to change EGR COOLER again, I want to recall you that we had purchased two same modals with your dealership in 2011 & my friend had returned his car bearing no. UK07AK5494 in 2012 which was suffering with same problem you can check it with your records also, as this is manufacturing defect in this part therefore I have decided to return this car, kindly let me know what action needed from my end. I have left my car with you on dated 17th Jan 2015 its around 13 days passed, without car I have no other option to hire taxi on daily basis hence kindly arrange the reimbursement of these charges also.               This is in regards to bitter experience I have had for my vehicle – Skoda Rapid bearing registration no. DL 6CM 2821 in regards to invoice no. DEL[protected] Here is the customer ordeal: On 1st May, 2015 evening, my Skoda Rapid failed to start. Even Skoda on-road help line couldn’t help in any way and I had to tow the car to my residence. I reach Skoda service center (Fahrenheit automobiles) early morning after towing the vehicle again to resolve the issue. To my surprise, I was shockingly told that fuel pump needs to be replaced and was given an estimate of 9, 000 INR + taxes. When I enquired about the reason for such failure, service manager (Mr. Rajat) was unable to give me a concrete answer and told me that this happens to be a 1 in 45, 000 cars case (apart from being unique). I drilled deeper at the time of invoicing and asked him to furnish a technical reason for such a failure as I have been servicing my vehicle on time and clocked only 25, 909 kms in last 2.5 years. I got an answer that I should have asked this at the time of estimate and Skoda would have done a 16 step test to analyze the situation. This exercise would take approximately a week’s time. Does Skoda really think I grow money on trees and have all time in this world (only for Skoda)? As perceived, Skoda pumps out money in after-sales seems to be true. After banging my head with him for more than 3 hours and escalating the issue, I got a 10% discount on labour charges. Expectation : Since Skoda isn’t clear about the reason for failure of fuel pump and this is such a unique case (1 in 45, 000), kindly replace the fuel pump under warranty. I want a credit/ cash voucher of 7, 708 INR along with two-way towing charges i.e. 5000 INR i.e. a total of 12, 708

                I have purchased Skoda Rapid Diesel vide Invoice No.NCPL/2014-15/00142 from Navnit Motors, Nagpur. Only after a month I was asked to bring in the vehicle for a change of part as it was a manufacturing defect on SKODA's part. On 22/4/2015 my vehicle was sent to the workshop for changing the part and it was done vide Invoice no.NGPR[protected]They had replaced 1)Sticker 2)Coolant Thermostat. Immediately from the next day the coolant from my car started leaking. After a few days again my vehicle had to visit the workshop to rectify this leakage. They told that a pipe lock was not properly tightened and kept the car in for the whole day as testing procedure for which I did not even get a job card as a proof that my vehicle had come in their workshop for repair/testing. I felt this was scandalous behaviour on their part. Today 7/5/2015, I started my vehicle and a yellow light popped up on the odometer. After going through the manual it said that this light comes up if there is a problem in the exhaust inspection system. After talking to service advisor (Mayur) I was adviced to bring in the vehicle to workshop again so that they can scan and rectify the issue. Sir, I paid for a NEW car but dont feel the same as just in over a month I had to visit your workshop so many times. This vehicle is not fit to be called brand new and I want a replacement at the earliest. Hope you will take this matter up seriously or I'll be forced to go through consumer forums legally to get what I PAID for.

                  Our Vehicle bearing registration no. DL 8C NA 5971 was sent to Nawab Motors for attending the long pending problems related to Power Window Switch, Hard Clutch (since purchase of the vehicle) and Noise from Both Front Doors on 4th March 2015. The Vehicle is under Extended warranty. When the vehicle was sent to workshop for attending the above issues on 4th March 2015, there were no complaints regarding the Suspension. Surprisingly when we reached the workshop for picking the vehicle we have been informed that suspension block has also been replaced and I need to pay approx. Rs. 3500/- for the same. Also the complaint regarding noise from driver side door was not attended. Nobody Including the Service Advisor bothered to inform us prior to that suspension block are required to be changed. At least we expect a call for information regarding any Major Repair/ Replacement which has not been envisaged at the time of taking the vehicle in the workshop. When inquired whether the Suspension is covered under warranty they denied without checking. So we made the payment and took the vehicle back. Immediately after replacement of suspension blocks a cranking noise was noticed from the bottom of the vehicle whenever it used to run over a speed breaker or rumble strips, which was informed to the workshop when the vehicle was again sent to workshop for attending the complaints. After Inspection we were informed that there is some problem in the Suspension Arm Bush and these are required to be changed. When we asked them why not they examined the complete suspension and noticed the problem in Suspension Arm Bushes also while attending the problem in Suspension Blocks on 4th March 2015, the service team was clue less about the same. It was informed to the Service team that as per our understanding the Suspension should be covered under warranty they replied that the vehicle would be examined first and after that they can tell whether the same is covered under warranty or Not. Why the people at workshop and SAIPL are not having clarity about the warranty conditions because whenever we used to call them they reply that you bring the vehicle and we will see and do something for covering the same under warranty. Also there is no mention of the suspension system not being covered under warranty in the Vehicle Manual & Service Book. We are writing to the Skoda Auto India Private Limited (SAIPL) also regularly since then for clarification on coverage of suspension under warranty but there is no response from SAIPL also regarding the same. We are now frustrated with the kind of response we are getting from Skoda Auto India Private Limited (SAIPL). Although we have never expected a Perfect Car but basics in place for sure. We opted Skoda Fabia, considering product and quality of service from reputed brand like Skoda would not bamboozle, but I’m surprised and shattered with poor performance of the vehicle since the time it was bought and response system from service centers/ SAIPL time and again.                     Hi, I ve got my Skoda Rapid serviced today from Nawab Motors Noida. My car number is UP16AW8969. From the day i purchased this vehicle since 6 months i ve visited this service centre 3 times but my experience is just becoming bad to worse. My car doors are making noise and i just wanted that to get fixed because this does not give you a good feeling specially if it is a new car. Today when i visited showroom for the first service i explained all my issues to the service manager. He explained me that they recommend a lubrication package worth of 700 because after washing this is required and all the problems will get resolved including my doors issue. Immediately after washing the car was handed over to me and there was no lubrication done after the wash. When i asked the person who must be responsible for washing said that they might have done it. When this was supposed to be done after washing then how come somebody do it before washing. When i asked about door adjustments and he simply said it is okay. So while driving home back i realised that noise from the doors have not stopped so suspecting foul i got my car checked from the local car mechanic and he confirmed that lubrication is not done because everything seems to be very dry. Service centre also charged me with half litre of oil which they claim that they have done a top up. Looking at the approach of the workshop i seriously doubt if they have done that or not nor i ve anything to prove because i cannot open engine and check but as a common sense do a car need a top up after plying only 3000 Kms only. I believe that workshop has not done lubrication for which they have charged and have not adjusted my doors which is still making noise while climbing rough road or bumpers. For top up of oil its God only knows whether they have actually done it or just bluffing like other services. I don't expect brand like Skoda working like this Gagan Deep Singh [protected]

                      Hi I have seeked prior appointment for routine servicing of my Skoda Fabia car redg no: CH01 AD 5257 at Nawab Motors Sec 11 Noida UP on 21 st April 2015 for 22nd April 2015. My car was picked up from my residence at around 9:30 am on 22nd april 2015, along with the vehicle I have handed over a list of jobs to be attended in servicing. The driver told that I will recieve a call from the service supervisor once the vehicle will reach the workshop at the time of generating the Job card. I have not received any call till 12 noon and when I called up the service center I was told by the telephone operator that she will arrange for the call.Shortly I recieved a call wherein I briefed about all the jobs to be done in the vehicle and he promised to hand over the vehicle to me by 6 pm and I also requested him to call me if any major work is to be done in the vehicle. I got no call from the service advisor during the day, when I reached to pick up my vehicle in the evening I was told that the vehicle will be handed over tommorrow as the water pump is to be changed, when I asked the service advisor why he has not called me and breifed the situation on phone he was clue less.I again came back.Till now I have not recieved any call from the service centre regarding the status of my car.I have just called the service centre before typing this mail and again no updated status was given to me. I think there shoud be a minium TAT for routine servicing in a company like Skoda. I am really feeling cheated. Regards Amit Kumar [protected] |

                        On 14th March, I got the call for the 4th due service and ofcourse this paid service. I have requested Virraj Skode shivaji Nagar to pick the vehicle and followed accordingly. they have send driver on Chargeable basis. i got call from Service advisor ( obviously they should be expert in their work this is our expectation) and I have explained the issues in my vehicle MH12 GK 9319. They kept my vehicle for 2 days and Went to take vehicle that time as usual vehicle was not washed properly inside and outside. They arranged to clean the vehicle and almost it was 7.30 pm and being paid service they have to make money so they have charged me total approx Rs 14000. After that just in few days I have again started facing same issues in my vehicle. So Obvioulsy I have to call that service advisor. I told that same propblem in my vehicle, therefore driver came to take my vehicle. They do not feel responsible even to call after receipt of vehicle at their end. We are customer and Viiraj Skode have created monopoly so I have called and asked about the vehicle. Again they have taken two days to rectify the problems. Again I came by evening to take the vehicle again at eleventh moment they washed my vehicle. After driving car ( Fabia) for few days. I have to called the service advisor once again for same problem but unfortunately that advisor was on leave and my query was not addressed properly.They forced me to put complaint on the Skoda portal. After that I have reced call from few peoples of Viiraj Skoda and again I have explained the same problem. They have arranged driver to pick vehicle from my office. After half day, I have called Viiraj Skoda that who is responsible for my vehicle as I have recd call from Mr. Vithal/ Kothari etc. After some time i recd call that I'm Mr. Swaroop from Viiraj Skoda ... technical incharge and personally I look in vehicle about all problems. Next day I have recd call that all problems has been fixed properly so you can come and check the vehicle. ( surprise for me) they have given proper teatment( though it was for some time). Mr, Swaroop have explained me the issues and how he rectified it that also he have explained me .He also told me that if any issues in vehicle after this, call me directly. I was really overwhelmed. We have taken trial and then I have taken my vehicle with good smile on my face. Unfortunately again after few days, i have to call Mr. Swaroop that same problems continued and additional vehicle get raised in 2nd gear and vehicle moves in first gear like some body pushing it etc. He picked my vehicle ( I have Intentionally removed in between lines). After that I have recd call from Mr. Swaroop and literally i was shocked, he told you have to replaced clutch plates, you have to replaced compressor. Pathetic communication from Viiraj skoda( Mr. Swaroop) after sending vehicle for 5th times from the date of paid servicing, in the interval of approx one month. Now the questions are, in between lines, why ?????? it was not noticed during 5 times vehicle placed for same problems. I have doubt that they might have played with my vehicle, compressor, gear box. And based on passed information ( with europa), they will not be afraid of removing parts from the vehicle. Vehicle No. MH12 GK 9319 Model - Fabia Elegance Reg date- 2011

                          i bought new skoda rapid at oct2012, and i met an accident at Nov 2012, then sent my car to skoda gurudev madurai body shop.they do all the repairs. After that they intimate to take the car. Then i take the car at 8pm. Within 1km my car right side head light not properly focussed. Then i immediately taken back to the same bodyshop. They tried to adjust up to 30minits in front of me, no solution. Then sent me to waiter hall, after 5 mints they told your car is ready. In the NH road no problem, in rough roads the same problem is continued. Then i talk with the service engineer they told to show the vehicle in the near by service station. Next service, i told the problem to Mr suresesh in trichy service station. They replied that i solve the problem you don't worry. Again the same problem is continued. Then next service i asked to register the problem they discussed with the madurai body workshop, then nothing sir, i correct the problem you don't worry. 13.04.2014 i show the car again in the trichy gurudev motors. I tell all the problem. In front of me they open the bonnet they inspected, and they tolled your right side headlight reflector adjuster is already broken. So no way to adjust your head light . So, ask to the body workshop where you already replaced. I asking to the concern person nearly 7 times there is no reply. They don't give proper reply. I already replace that light in madurai body workshop, from that day to till now the same problem is going on. I need proper solution about that problem. Madurai body workshop and trichy suresh are cheated me about that my problem. I need good conditioned right side focusing in the head light, so replace with new one. Very difficult to drive the vehicle in night time.

                            I had given my Skoda Fabia for first service to M/s Gurudev Motors at Guindy in Chennai on 25/03/2015. Though nearly 3 weeks passed I am yet to receive the car. On following up they informed me that the PCM had been damaged because of red ants and had to be replaced. The PCM is not covered under warranty and I had to bear the cost by 50%. In spite of all, they never give the feed back and I have to call them.

                              Gave it for regular servicing without any major complaints, just replace engine oil, filters and a general service. Charged me Rs.8, 100 and didn't even bother to clean the dust either from inside or in the engine compartment. Fabia is a fantastic car and is getting killed here due to bad dealership management and bad service. They are just killing a brilliant brand, guys! wake up.

                                  my vehicle no is ka 05 mp 6215. service provider is tafe access. there is a vibration in the 4th gear position in my skoda rapid car.this was there since begining. i had give the complaint in the first free service at 7500km but it was not rectified.at the second paid service also this was highlighted and the complaint was taken but nothing was done to rectify the problem.please advise the further action on this. rgds satheesh .

                                      Dear Team, I have Skoda Rapid registration no. UP 32 FR 0444, got 1st service done at 15000 km at Vishal Cars Lucknow. As per the scheduled chart for service attached only engine oil and oil filter should be replaced, instead they have changed alot of things which as per chart given by skoda was scheduled for 30000 and 45000 kms respectively. Attached is the bill and other required details. Even after reiterating that they have not done the work as per scheduled chart, they replied the chart is not correct, what we suggest the work is done in that way and charged the bill likewise. Attached are the Scheduled service chart, bill they charged and parts they changed. I just want to know if the periodic maintainence schedule board(attached) at the service center is of no use then why it is there to misguide us? Need a clarification on this as it is not at all accepted being a regular Skoda customer. Regards, D K Singh [protected]
