Dear Skoda, I am very sorry to say i ever had such a bad experience with the 4th paid service of my skoda rapid. I did my all my previous 3 paid services with the Vision Skoda in Thrissur in Kerala and unfortunately for the 4th time I had given my car to Marikar Skoda Kochin Kerala for service. Normally when ever i given my car for the service it was just like 11000 Rupees to 12000 Rupees was the maximum expense which incurred for my service when i did service with the Skoda service in Thrissur. But for my service in Kochin a few days back they charged me nearly 20000 Rupees how can they charge me such a huge amount, or how it can be such a huge difference between two authorised service centres. when i given my car for service i have mention to them about my ABS light is blinking and has to look and repair the same and they said ok we will repair and unfortunately they haven't done anything with the same. After the service my engine oil is leaking diesel pipes are leaking and even one time engine oil red light has shown in the indication area. I don't know what should i do about the same. And also one main thing they said engine flushing or something which i never heard with other service providers and without even asking they did that also and they charged me nearly 4000 rupees for that. And finally without my permission they engraved their sticker showing MARIKAR on my car. I don't know what is happening. i am attaching a photo showing cost of repair which is saying by skoda motors india in their website. The sticker they put on my car.
i too regret buying a skoda product.I understand now that the car doesnt undergo any quality checks or regulations.Now the number of showrooms in kerala has reduced to two or three, people from different parts have to rely on those remaining.I drop my car at the service and have to catch a bus/train to get back home. The people at the service centers also know that we dont have anywhere else to go, their behaviour is also very rude and casual!!one more thing - The price of parts is not digestible at all.The prices are same as that of premium cars.What to say!!

    Sir, I gave my Skoda Rapid for repairs as its bonnet was crashed and needed to be replaced along with some other minor repairs on 20th November, 2013. The name of the dealer is "Torque Automotive Pvt. Ltd" in Surat. I was assured that the car will be repaired within a period of 10 days. I am a frequent traveler and I do need car for travelling long distances for everyday business purpose. After repeatedly taking proper backup since 28th November and waiting for more than 14 days, they said that they have no idea when the car will be repaired as they don't have spare parts as present. This type o[censored]nprofessional and careless response depicts mere shrinkage of work. The manager of the Torque Automotive Pvt. Ltd. Mr Srikanth constantly ignored our phone call due to which every time to know the status of my car, had to go to a long distance which further disturbs my schedule. On asking him the reasons for delay, the constant excuse of the service center was they are not having spare parts. If they don't have it, they would have not accepted my car for repairs. And if they do so, it is there responsibility to inform me the time it will take to get my car repair. On the other hand, the manager himself told us to register a complaint and give us the number of customer care when inquired about the delay. This type of experience was not expected from the Skoda company. The service center is of inferior quality, always out of stock of spare parts, depicts lack of management and lack of proper response to customers. Even for the minor repairs, the customer has to wait for days. I have given the car for repairs after properly arranging my whole schedule. As a business man, I do face great problem in re-arranging my schedule for further 5 days(which is also not guaranteed). I had planned my whole schedule keeping in view all my upcoming family functions which will be disturbed because of inferior quality of services by Skoda Service Centers. I had to confess sadly that the management of Skoda Service Centers stands nowhere when compared to the services I got from other companies service centers like Maruti Suzuki and Hundai. I would request Skoda to look into the management of Skoda Service Centers and work upon its improvement. Chandrakant Tibra Surat

      Dear Sir, This is to bring to your notice that we had given our skoda octavia car no .           Hello Sir I purchased a Scoda Rapid Elegance 1.6cr No. RJ 19 CD 9168 last year from Jai Car Jodhpur. when I purchased at that time they promissed me for every kind of help and technical support. i am facing a technical problem in my car since last 7 months. I dont know the reason but I can guess that this is a heat problem. I have told this thing to Scoda Service Centre but i am not getting any kind of support from them.             We own a Skoda Yeti bought from Jia Motors (authorised dealer for Skoda India) Siliguri in 2011. Everything was running smoothly until last year i.e. Oct 2013 that the vehicle developed some problem while driving and the engine broke down. The vehicle was towed down to Jia Motors Service Center where they delayed the repair process by almost a year. Also instead of delivering the vehicle at Siliguri we had to collect the vehicle from Kolkata i.e. 500 kms from Siliguri. During this period the vehicle was with the Skoda Service Center in Kolkata. We have some doubts which we have to raise : 1.)Whether we should be charged any amount for the repair works (even if the engine was replaced) if it comes under the extended warranty period ??? The Manager at the service center charged us almost Rs 1 lac for the repair works citing labour charges fr which he provided us a computerised bill. However he charged us almost 1.4 lacs for the engine for which he gave us a Kachcha Bill. In spite o[censored]s requesting him for a proper computerised bill and also since it was covered under extended warranty, he and his staff were not able to provide us with as a computerised bill, which has led to many doubts in the customers. 2.)We had to travel all the way to Kolkata for the vehicle after almost a year of pressurising them to complete the repair works on time. We got no assistance from them in this regard from the authorised dealer here instead caused us undue hardship and harassment. 3.)Also the vehicle was given to us in a pretty bad shape with parts missing like the rubber lining on the driver's door window, there is leakage in one of the containers in the engine where the water for the windscreen is stored, a nut missing in one of the rear tyres (we drove 500 kms as such without any knowledge of the missing nut) You put as at immense risk apart from the undue harassment caused. Kindly consider my queries as early as possible and respond !! A tired Skoda Customer !!

                It has been more 2 months now. The AC of my car stopped working. The entire unit has been changed twice still the showroom keeps telling me that there is some problem or another. Extremely poor after sale service. No clue as to what the problem is. Would not recommend Skoda to anyone.

                  I would like to bring your kind notice I have handed over my car to your service station on 17.09.2014 for changing of my car door due to hit and run accident. Please note the insurance person released the work order on next day itself… At the time of handing over of my car they promise to replace the door with in a week’s time. But now they are informing with too many stories (i.e doors are not available in India & we are importing from Germany after that only it will reach Bangalore etc., they doesn’t when it will exactly & which is not acceptable any more).

                  Please don't buy a SKODA CARS...

                    Yesterday I purchased skoda rapid at 7 pm from nawab motors noida.(13.10.2014) . Today when i drove on noida greater noida expressway at a speed from 65-70 kmph, it started vibrating, my legs were shaking and when i went to nawab motors with this complaints they did not admit this a fault. Can someone suggest me what to do now. Rajesh.

                      I had purchased skoda Fabia car in 2011 Jan from Giriraj Motor Gurgaon dealer, From last one year breaking system is not working properly, i had given the car for service to resolve the same, service guys changed the break pad and charged me more money which is specified on the website, but problem is still the same.Problem is when i push the break pedal, Break pedal is coming back and staring gets vibrated.This problem started when my car was at 18000 Km . to till now, (26000 Km) every time service engg says it is working fine. today i have again given the car for service for the same problem Now he say that your disk is not working properly, disk replacement is required.As per my knowledge its not possible that disc replacement is required in just 18000 km.Also he says that i will have to pay Rs. 5500 to replace the disk. My car is in under extended warranty. We are not getting any support from the skoda auto, which is very troublesome. I am planning to file case in consumer court if i will not get any solution for my complaint from the skoda auto within 7 days. Last time i have lodge a complaint on customer care but i have not received any response from skoda auto.It is humble request to support me on the same issue asap Car Detail: Car No. HR26 BG 3042. I have tried to lodge a complaint regarding brake disc but one of your executive named Reshma has not willing to help me. I have called her multiple times but she is don’t want to lock my complaint. I own 2011 Skoda yeti HR07 p 0024 There Dealership Sidak auotmobile (Karnal) is not able to get available for last 15 days, even very common parts, front wind shield and rear Bumper, there after sales Service is very Poor, no parts available in there workhops, so I advice future buyers that before buying Skoda cars, Think twice...                           I am Ajay Barala a Naval officer here from kochin kerala i would like to complain for skoda company my no is [protected] i got the car skoda fabia 1.2 Active Car Registration no MH 01 AR 1170 in march 2010 and till now it has run about 11900 km only and it has got issue in ABS and engine .Till now all the service are done by authorised service center autobahn India pvt Ltd Mumbai branch . When i approached the showroom in feb i came to know there is a problem in ABS and Engine which cost comes out to be around 2 lakh which cannot happen in a car which has just run around 12000 km this must be from beginning which i dint notice before .This is really a high time for such thing always customer cannot accept such thing from company please i request my issue need to be taken to your management level and give be the directive what shall i do to resolve this issue .kindly do the needful.                             Dear Sir, I have booked Superb at Oberoi Motors, Dehradun on 7/7/2014. I was asked to pay Rs. 5, 00, 000 as advance, which I paid. I was promised delivery within two months. Now even after 2 and half month, there is no delivery. On enquiring, Oberoi Motors is not sure about delivery even in next three months. I feel cheated. I do not expect such lousy service from you and your dealer. If you are not sure of delivery why take huge advance. If you can not deliver it in next 15 days, please return back my advance Rs. 5 Lacs with interest at earliest. I may have to inform other potential customers through media, the way your company is involved in unethical way of business.

                              Service: On 25th August while returning back from work something hit at the bottom of my vehicle. After reaching my parking lot I noticed that Engine oil was leaking (lucky that engine did not get seized since i was around 2KM away from home). Next morning on 26th August I towed the vehicle to workshop (Vinayaka Skoda KR Puram). They said Oil sump is damaged and has to be replaced and gave me a rough estimate of around Rs. 20 K and if I claim insurance it will take around 5 days time to get the vehicle back after repair. On 27th August I filled up the insurance claim form and registered for claim number myself so that they don’t delay in claim process. On 28th Insurance people visited workshop for inspection. I called the workshop on 30th to know the delivery date. They told me it will be delivered on 3rd September. Today when I called they are telling they have placed an order for the Oil Sump and tomorrow on 4th September they can tell me if the part is available in Noida or not and it will take around 10-12 days to reach their workshop and after that they can start the work. If stock is not available in Noida then they have to import it from Czechoslovakia and it can take a month’s time also. It was a biggest shock for me. All these days I was hearing about poor after sales service of Skoda and now got a chance to experience it.

                                Hello, I have serious complains towards products and services of SKODA/ Volkswagen group sold in India. I have summarized problems faced and my demands below; kindly let me know best way forward. · My car (SKODA Fabia – MH 03 AZ 0020) met with an accident on 15th June and was towed to SKODA workshop on 16th June. I was assured that I will get my car back in two weeks’ time but I have still not got my car back after accidental repairs. There were several commitments on the delivery date but still my car is lying in the workshop. Just to add, this was not a major accident; engine was not damaged in any way. 15 days was initial estimation given by workshop (JMD Bhandup) and if we go by uncertainty elements in service/ repairs, it shouldn’t have extended for more than 20 – 25 days. So now I am forced to use transport at my own expenses. · I have faced similar problem with my Fabia car in 2011, wherein SKODA could not deliver spare part (control module for window operations) for 3 months. The car was unusable during this duration. · My other car (SKODA Laura – MH 04 ET 3841) has developed problems with the ABS system and is now lying in the same workshop. I have spent a day in the workshop to analyze the problem and after keeping it in the workshop for 4 days, I have not been given any timelines on the delivery. So this appears to be a regular practice by SKODA towards their customers. · It’s worth mentioning that I have valid SKODA/ VW extended warranty on both cars. · I decided to escalate the matter to SKODA India’s complaint handling department for both of my cars and did so on 11th August at 11 AM (Complaint Number - SPL54608). In-spite of following up with them aggressively, I have not received any concrete updates till date. I have at least made 20 – 25 calls to customer service department and their approach is agonizing. I have not been provided any direct contact for my complaint neither I have received their escalation matrix. Sadly in spite of several commitments, I have not even received a single call…! Instead it’s me who is following up to have my complaint resolved. · As a consumer I feel betrayed. I have bought goods worth Rs. 22 lacs from a company that doesn’t even have slight sense of responsibility towards their customers. Being in the service industry for more than 20 years, I can definitely say that SKODA’s complain handling procedures and internal processes towards their customers are still at very premature level. So now as a consumer I demand the following, 1. I should be paid a compensation @ 2000/ day for Fabia Car which calculates up to (2000 Rs X 35 days) 70000 Rs. 2. I feel my SKODA/ VW products are not “fit for purpose” due to unavailability of spare parts (for car which is not even 4 years old) and poorly setup service centers. SKODA should take back these products and pay back entire cost towards me. 3. SKODA/ VW India should not be allowed to sell any product unless they setup acceptable complaint handling and product support processes towards their customers. SKODA India’s escalation matrix should be published on their official website.

                                  To the manager / general manager / or whome so ever concerned. I am Mr. Gala owner of skoda superb car no MH 04 FN 55. We have purchase the car 2years back and since the time we have purchased the is a problem in the air conditioner of the car. We have given the car for servicing almost 5 times for this problem at jmd bhandup and the concern person was Mr rajesh[protected]. All the time we were given reasons as there is problem in air pipe, gas leakage, climate control problem etc. N for all this problem v have paid the charges even when car is under warranty. Now the problem is not solved till date. I hope this mail is given importance n taken the issue in concern . Either replace our car or solve the problem for us. We are badly dissatisfied with the company. I hope immediate replt is given to us. Plz contact on [protected] or [protected]

                                  I am Mr. Gala owner of skoda superb car no MH 04 FN 55.
                                  We have purchase the car 2years back and since the time we have purchased there is a problem in the air conditioner of the car.
                                  We have given the car for servicing almost 5 times for this problem at jmd bhandup and senator kandiwali and the concern person was Mr rajesh[protected]. Mr rajesh also said in all skoda superb there is an issue of AC.

                                  Since 12 days my car was in workshop and 25 days before I paid 16000 for pipe leakage
                                  Either replace our car or solve the problem for us. We are badly dissatisfied with the company.
                                  I hope immediate replt is given to us.

                                  Even I have send 6 mail to customer care skoda and called 8times at skoda help line number.

                                    We are being harassed by skoda dealer (Satguru motors indore )

                                    I am having SKODA SUPERB car with me. Due to some noise and A.C problem I sent my car to SKODA service station name " SKODA - SATGURU MOTORS INDORE" few days back .Every time I was told we have done flushing, cleaning, top-up, recirculation, etc. Etc. The problem still stays.. They keep my car for days and days without solving my problem and when I ask them for the delivery of my car, they straight away ignore and says they don't...

                                    my skoda yeti regn no. tn45d7315 was bought in oct 2013. has done 10000 kms no complaints, serviced twice as per company(Gurudev motors} third free service due at 15000 or one yr had developed burning smell from engine compartment detected and sent to guindy workshop chennai for rectification of problem.was initially dismissed but on insisting on a written certification was examined thoroughly by service team and reportedly contacted manufacturers messrs skoda auto india who advised replacement of clutch at customers cost. am extremely upset with the casual approach to a serious and expensive problem and attempt by service team to blame the customer for the problem, for example was told by engineers about clutch riding and how such sensitive machinery can be mishandled. whom are you making these machines for and where is the question of misuse? Is it too much to expect to be given a trouble free vehicle without putting customers thru a lot o[censored]nnecessary agony . am still waiting for a reply from skoda. I cant help adding that if such a thing had happenened in Germany the whole batch of cars would have been recalled for inspection. The day the incident happened I was driving in a crowded suburb of Chennai Mylapore and was stopped by passerby who asked us to stop the vehicle shut off the engine and get off because of the burning smell. But one member of your service teams is happily telling me that there is no fire hazard. Expecting a prompt reply and remedy to a distressing problem.Thank You. Ravindran

                                      I would like to get your attention on my below request. I am facing alignment problem since i bought the car. I have taken my car to the service center so many time ( which is quite far from my home), everytime they could not get it rectify properly. It feels so bad taking a SKODA RAPID and still facing a problem. As it is a alignment problem you people must be knowing how bad it can lead to. I wonder you people are not chasing this request seriously and not getting any follow up on this. I expect much from such a big brand SKODA. When i bought this car didnt know that big names sometimes come with so bad experience. Please consider my request urgently and i can not put my car again and again on hold for such rectification and since the problem is inevitable and persisting since long, please come up with a greater solution. I dont want to put this concern on high command as I am expecting this to be solved now. Please this is my last mail, rest I would have to go with other means. I have reported this so many times to you people and at service center, but all in vain.Hope this problem will get resolved and I being a customer cant afford taking my car again and again to service center and bear expenses and I have this car for my daily use so cant even think of keeping my car on hold for service so many times.
