I bought a Skoda-Rapid 1.6MPI Style Plus from Vinayaka Skoda, Sadashiv Nagar, Bangalore. The car was bought under the recent 2015 manufacture year scheme wherein the company was offering 3 years insurance at Rs.1 and 1 year extended warranty along with the 2 years normal warranty.
Below is the breakup of the amount that I had paid to the dealer -
Finance SBM - 9, 60, 000
Down Payment - 1, 75, 717
Registration - 6500 (Without Receipts)
Additional Accessories - 11730
Total Paid - Rs. 11, 53, 947
Besides the dealer acted very cheap while swiping credit card/debit card and charged an additional 2% for every credit card/debit card swipe and also had atleast 5 stickers saying 'Vinayaka Skoda' all around the car. I was pretty happy with the sales representative and Vinayaka Skoda as they delivered the car on the committed date.
It was a shock for me when I received my registration receipts and insurance documents. The things do not add up to what I have paid for the car.
Below is what I have on the registration and insurance documents.
On the Invoice :-
Car Ex-Showroom - 8, 87, 238
KA road Tax - 1, 37, 874
Insurance & extended warranty @ Rs.1
Additional Accessories - 11730
Total - 10, 36, 843
Bajaj Allianz has insured the vehicle for the first year not sure where is the insurance of the next 2 years @ vehicle IDV Rs.9, 16, 739. The amount which does not match the documented vehicle ex-showroom price quoted to me during purchase or does not match the Tax Invoice .
I called Skoda customer care and they wrote an email to 'Vinayaka Skoda' for which I have still not received any response. Its been almost 30 days after purchase and 20 days since I had called up customer care to complain. Neither have I received any response not have I received any warranty documents or the RC booklet.
The dealer has no explanation for the variance in the amount that I had paid which amounts to almost 1, 20, 000 rupees.
Way to Go SKODA !!!

Hundreds of phone calls, hundreds of emails and my concern is still there. You marked this issue resolved ??? You are soooo careless I made a mistake buying Skoda ... Bunch of cheats !! Is what you and your dealers are.
Skoda India — Skoda octavia back side inidicaters is not good looking
Skoda Octavia's back side indicators wants in new looks, similar as jetta or Audi. pls change if possible.I am interested to purchase new skoda Octavia can u change these.
