Dear Sir,

I just wanted to requested that My vehicle registration no. is RJ-14-CD-6330 so i serviced my car from your workshop however when i get back my vehicle from your workshop then i noticed that my car power window was not working however when i gave my vehicle for service so that time its in working condition no any kind of power window problem in my car then i told one of your service executive so he told me that its a battery problem i replace my battery into new one the problem is not in working condition according to your Job card its not mentioned that its so now i went your workshop no one is giving me the perfect reason and i am fed up in this stupid service.

could you please give me the quick reply becausue it would be help my legal action.

    Hi,

    My car number is ka01-mg8591 - abishek kumar bangalore - [protected]. I am not able to replace my front doors lock and that's the reason i am unable to take out my car. Both the door lock are not working.

    Despite request to skoda workshop - vinayaka cars k. R puram bangalore.

    I am looking for quick solution.

      The Major Concern is, on March 4th 2017 my Skoda Rapid went through Service and Yesterday 16th March 2017 it dint start, There was not even previous complaint history .
      "GURUDEV MOTORS-THE NAME YOU CANT TRUS"T.The Battery was Dead and I'm still Surprised because The Car Lights were not left on 0r thr AC -Its the NEW Battery (1.5 years Old) And we dont have any complains in represent of it before Service.HAVE THEY CHANGED MY CAR BATTERY DURING SERVICE?? IS THE BATTERY CHECKED PROPERLY DURING SEERVICE??
      The Car is been Purchased 1.5 years Back on September 2015 wit 4 YEars of Warranty
      and i was in the middle of something, in spite of calling the service guy who addressed us, the service manager, Customer representative everyone's answer was not like a helpful one to that situation, they dont even understand the urge and my situation
      after contacting through different channels and harsh Language one addressed, Late Night they sent a person to take the vehicle, all my plan was flopped and it was really a hard situation
      And today again the same is happening
      Are you people are really wanting to serve your customer in a satisfying manner or you want your customer to make follow ups on you ???
      i need a proper channel to contact and proceed to various level.
      Am ready to face this legally
      Last Year also the same **** Happened in a different way.That time It was the Car second Key-Skoda Mount Road blamed the Finance (Shri Ram City Union) and Vice Versa and Car was struck up interior of Theni almost Two Days. And we spent a Hell of Money and Medicines for my Parents, as everything was struck Inside the Car with the Main Key.
      The Service centres in Madurai and Thrichy are far better and good.

      So I've been searching for the contact email id of MD CEO Skoda-No Use.

      Who is responsible for Service When Called -Service they say Sales-they say Service-they say the branch.Did i buy the car seeing your location or for the Brand Name "SKODA" We also have another Car in Renault and its KWID .The SKODA Representative Should Go for training to Renault.Thats Calle Customer Service.

      Just thought of owning a skoda rapid 1.5 TDI Ambition 2018 Model. But after seeing such pathetic after sales service I have changed my mind.

      Also there should be an written confirmation from customer to his/her satisfaction level to close this complaint, but skoda India had just given a basic reply to

      customer complaint and closed the complaint in this consumer portal.

      No peace of mind I guess after purchasing Skoda!

        I bought skoda octavia in the month of october 2016, from giriraj moters gurgaon, the car has just done 2600 kms and other day while driving in the dark, the left side running board got damaged, thus on 7th march 2017 i took the car for the running board replacement to giriraj motors gurgaon, well while the job has been done satisfactorily, but what surprises me is that the car windows had been left open for 3-4 days while the car was being done, and dust and paint spray dots and minute dust had accumulated all over the interiors of the car, and one despite getting the acr cleaned by myself the interior had been messed up which is not expected if skoda services, i had heard volumes of this before i bought the car skoda, but i was promised that house is in order, but i was throughly disappointed with the service of the car, and people at the helm must tiale it seriously, or else it will effect on the health of the company

            I am from guwahati and own a skoda superb . There is no service center here after closure of your showroom and as a result of that we are always skeptical to use our car. we have been trying to get in touch with your dealers in East but they arent interested in coming to guwahati to do servicing. having a service center of your company is mandatory as the cars sold by you was with a promise to service it also regularly.It is strange that a company of your repute has no presence in this growing market of guwahati. let me bring to your knowledge that big brands like merc and audi also have their showroom here. apart from service i also feel that you are losing out on business opportunity of not having a showroom here.
            Another concern that need to be addressed is of a showroom by the name of Car and Fashion in guwahati who claim to be your authorised service partner and supply genuine skoda parts. we have had our ABS rectified (supposedly!!) from them at a cost of 1.5 lakhs, however we got to know that he is fake as he is unable to provide invoices for his work . this is also bringing a bad name to your company.

              I own a Skoda Fabia Vehicle in Goa - India, which has issues for Steering. Last year we have registered a complain for Steering Rack at the time of 3rd Service which is under extended warranty. It was informed that the parts will be available within 14 days but still the issue is not resolved. This is the 4th Service & I have taken my vehicle for service & we have registered the complain, now the company says the warranty due date is finished & we cannot change it under warranty.                 I have recently gave an order of a rapid which is a company purchase with full amount.due to some reason the cheque was returned back, and I have paid a certain amount for accessories for the car.after the cheque got returned back due to my personal problems I have told to stop the transaction process.and I have told the Skoda dealer to return back my accessories refund which they are telling they can't do so.please help me with the process.

                  Clutch Plate Problem in 25K

                  I purchased Skoda Rapid Ambition Diesel in 2014, it ran only 25K and I got the problem of clutch plate. Car was jerking on first gear and I could not drive at all. Just few weeks before I noticed steering wheel vibrating too much when I slowly apply the break when speed is in between 80 to 100 KM/H

                  Though I drive my car in traffic, there are other brands who also drive in the same city condition but they have not got this problem....

                  This is Kailas

                  I have brought skoda Rapid car in June 2014. Reg. No.- (MH 12 LD 4000)
                  From the 1st day of delivery my car had a problem of wiring faults and I had been scanned it many times in skoda workshop but everytime they had done unwanted and temporary work for that.
                  In November 2016 my car had been troubles about leaving the current for a second and that car had the major flicks. At that time i had given it to the Viiraaj skoda workshop at wagholi (pune) and they had told me about the wiring defaults and I had charged 10000 Rs for that. After one month I had got same problem and i have asked abt the same to viiraj skoda workshop at wagholi pune. Now the problem is same but skoda work shop telling me to replace the other wiring and they will going to charged me 13000 Rs again for that because the estimate it is.
                  Where the problem is frequently seeing within few days and the viiraj skoda workshop charging for the same problem more and again and giving the reason of skoda will flicks like that due to 32 types of default reasons. That mean it is the way to despoil the customers.
                  It is my observation that the viiraj skoda workshop is alleges before to every customer and ignore the problems.

                    I have already paid for my Service under Annual maintenance package along with monthly EMI as part of the company scheme while purchasing the car .
                    Now when i sent my car for Annual Service they have rejected my Service request under Annual maintenance package i have opted for and asking to to pay again for the service stating that my service is overdue hence i will not be given approval for service under AMC.
                    I am surprised to hear that as i have already paid for my service and this kind of issue is raised now only in three years, They never raised concerned in my last services as they were also overdue . Moreover i have already paid around Rs 10, 000 as part of my Annual maintenance package along with my monthly EMI. Please find attached the documents for my AMC contarct and EMI schedule showing Maintenance charges deducted every month

                      I have a skoda rapid . Clutch assembly is tearing off every 10000 kms . First time I had this problem they said it is because of driving style, I can not believe this as i drive others cars too, but I accepted and paid for it . Now at 20000 kms I am facing same problem, on pressing accelerator RPM is going high and car is not accelerating .

                      Now I request skoda india to look into this problem, it is not driving style problem but something faulty about car assembly .

                        I wish to complain about my skoda rapid (Reg. No. Mp09 ct 5600) that i purchased on 17/02/17 from satguru motors dealer for skoda in indore city
                        I am complaining because i am not getting solution of my problem from the local dealer service center over that they had started misbehaving & denying to give anything in writing.
                        From last two months i had raised my complaints verbally at service center regarding bubbling & noise near steering while braking is being denied by the supervisor. Now finally i had given the vehicle to service center to rectify the issue on 30th jan 2017. Since then i have been regularly chasing with the concerns solution. After 14 days vehicle is still with them, i am begging them daily over call & visiting regularly, literally i am now feeling cheated by skoda. Mr saxena (Service head) has now started misbehaving & denying getting this issue resolve and threatening us to bear the repair replacement cost on the first free service itself. To resolve this problem i would like you to raise this with top management that these guys sitting here are ruining brand image of skoda.
                        When i first learned of this problem, i contacted mr saxena at your service center, and was told that nothing could be done about my problem. I believe that this response is unfair because my car is under warranty & not even done first service itself. I would like a written statement explaining your company's position and what you will do about my complaint.
                        I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible to resolve this problem. If i do not hear from you within next 7 days i will file complaints with the appropriate consumer agencies and consider my legal alternatives. I am enclosing copies of my receipt. I may be contacted at the above address and phone number.

                          Our car on 3rd dec, got stop without any warning, we have given the car to Service center of the Saga Automotive, Jaipur, there they told us Some belt was broken and given us the estimate for 1, 70, 000/- When we asked why it was broken and why it was not checked in the earlier service, they have not given any answer, there after we are sending mail to head of customer care (india) Jatinder Walia and copany personal Mr. Subir Singh, byt they are not responding to numerous mail we have send.

                          We don't understand why these guys are not answering and moreover our car is lying in the service center since then.

                          Now Even the service centre guys ( Mr Arvind Kumawat Gm Saga Automotive) are not picking or responding to our mail and phone calls

                          We don't whether these guys will give back our car or not

                          We are really depressed by the un professional behaviour of the entire Skoda team

                            I have not yet received my RC BOOK even after two years of purchasing the Skoda Rapid. First I was given a wrong number which was corrected after more than a year and now I am still not given my RC BOOK.

                            I got a delivery of my car from Senator Skoda Powai in the month of January. However have not received my RC Book till date (23/10/2015). Also they have lost my Aadhar Card which was submitted for registration purpose. I have followed up rigorously with all various people in their organisation. Right from Mr. Vinod salesman to the GM - Anil Sharma who was only apologetic but did nothing. For them it is not their responsibility to ensure we get the RC Book. Also it is not their mistake if their person has lost the Aadhar Card because he has not done it purposely. I have written N number of times to their VP. Mr. Siddhesh Marathe but he is least bothered. BTW their is also a very strong protocol in the company where they don't give out mobile numbers of their seniors and when you call them on landline, they are either unavailable or in a long meeting. Now the salesman and GM have both left and I am only breaking my head against the wall. Pathetic customer service.

                              My Skoda Rapid is serviced by Tafe Access ltd at Electronic city Kudulu gate yesterday (07/02/17). I have driven 7500kms and the vehicle control, speed and comfort is excellent. Maintained my car nicely with good control of steering and smooth changing of gears.
                              After the service, i found the steering is completely loose and shivering in 50kms speed itself. Before service, on 140 kms /hr speed also steering would sturdy and steady.
                              Also, now gear changing is not smooth and is creating noise.
                              Any problem would be rectified in service generally, i wonder with SKoda, they create problems by doing service.
                              Horrible service and they charge hefty amount for pickup & drop the vehicle for service.
                              The inside doors were not fixed properly after service which is irritating.

                                I am driving Skoda Rapid for last four years. Already clutch plate changed for 3 times and again similar problem need to change the plate again. It was changed at 40000, 60000, 75000 and now at 82000 kms. Previously I drove other brands and never had this issue. I feel either the clutch plate quality is not good or the person fitting it not capable. I am planing to take legal action against Skoda Secunderabad.

                                  I own a Skoda Rapid 1.6 TDI 2012 and have completed 40, 000 Kms on the vehicle.
                                  I was getting the system error on 2nd January 2017, visited the service center and they told me that the EGR cooler has failed.

                                  Question 1: Is this EGR cooler tested for 40, 000 Kms only
                                  Question 2: I have seen the same problem with other SKODA/Volks owners, is Skoda doing anything to resolve.


                                  I was told that, as the services are done regularly (based on the Kms), the service center will approach the management for goodwill approval for getting the EGR cooler replaced, they assured me that it will take 3-4 days to get approval, however, i had to chase them to find the status of my request for 3 WEEKS. IT IS NOW REJECTED.

                                  Question 3: Are there any SLAs in place for Skoda service or it is as per the forums (Scary customer service)?

                                  I insisted on getting the RCA done, but the service center is not aware

                                  Question 4: Do you provide RCA for the issues or it goes unattended/uninformed.

                                  Lastly i was told that it is a case of Adulterated fuel,

                                  Question 5 : Can you please issue guidelines for the fuel that can be used in Skoda, i am staying in India and will get my vehicle re-fueled here not in Czech?
                                  If your vehicles are not tested with Indian fuel, please put a disclaimer.


                                  I do not know the escalation mechanism in Skoda, but i am planning to take legal action.

                                  Determined not to BUY SKODA again.


                                  Let me know in case you are interested in more details or should i assume it is another case of Poor customer service.

                                    Hello

                                    My name is Shrenik Lunawat. My car got into an accident in March, 2016 and was repaired by the Saga Automotive (India) Pvt. Ltd. service centre in Jaipur. This was one of the most excruciating experiences of my life.

                                    First, in the middle of the process of me running circles around the service centre and insurance company, the executive who was handling my case changed. The new executive failed to cooperate and denied everything that the previous executive said and did. Due to this added with the clumsiness they showed when making the estimates, we had to pay approximately Rs. 2, 00, 000/- when we had an insurance policy that was supposed to cost nothing for such incidents. As the facts unfolded I found out that the reason was complete incompetence of skoda service centre in doing the only job that they exist for. They did not provide damage details and repair estimates of the external BLATANTLY visible damaged parts to the insurance company when giving the initial estimate. So, naturally the insurance company thought that those damages were caused after the car was sent for repair and not because of the accident. (attached is the copy of the correspondence between skoda and the insurance company) Skoda declined our request to change/repair these parts for free since insurance company declined their request due to their own clumsiness.

                                    Now, it had been several months that this argument was going on for and we needed our car back. So I took what I could get and got my car repaired paying whatever was necessary for the functioning of the car myself. Upon the return I got the car music system checked and found out that it was damaged because water entered the system. Now, my car's accident had nothing to do with water. The only reason water would've entered the music system was that a car with a broken windshield was left by skoda out in the open without any cover on it.

                                    The half-hearted repair by skoda was completed on 23rd December 2016 (9 months after the took the car in). This experience was least expected when I bought the car since the brand name of skoda is well reputed. This service centre and it's executive who dealt in our case were utterly useless and inadeaquate for the job.

                                    Even the insurance company says in the email " ... could've been easily claimed if it was seen damaged. It appears that estimates were not prepared with due diligence."

                                    Till this date skoda denies all these claims and I as a consumer am helpless. I wish this complaint causes some change in the way the service centre conducts its business and gets me the Refund that I deserve along with the Repair of the parts that were supposed to be repaired if things went the right way.

                                      Kindly note that I have purchased Skoda Rapid Ambition from your authorized dealer Jia Auto Sales Pvt. Limited from its Showroom at 84/1A, Topsia Road, (South), Trinity Plaza Building, Ground Floor, Kolkata- 700046. The details of the car are as follows :

                                      Though I had booked the car on 25.01.2016 and had specifically requested to the dealer to provide me with a car manufactured in the year 2016, but the dealer had forcibly compelled to accept a car manufactured in the year 2015 on 15.02.2016, without any pre-inspection of the car before its delivery. The said car was delivered to my address at Greenfield City on 15.02.2016. Even though I was unwilling to accept such delivery due to the unprofessional behaviour but the brand value of SKODA prevailed in my mind and I accept the said car. However from the very next morning of delivery/purchase of the car, I found some noise form the rear break drums of the car. I had to garage the car on 16.02.2016 with Jia Auto Sales Pvt. Limited, the dealer which they returned after purported repair the very same day but was again garaged on the same day due to the problems in the brakes of the car which was and is still persisting.

                                      The car had to be garaged for five times in the next six months with the Jia Auto Sales Pvt. Limited, the dealer. A brand new car was stripped open to detect the mechanics and technical team to identify the problem, numerous times, along with road tests and even keeping the car in the workshop for various other tests both by the technical teams of Jia Auto Sales Pvt. Limited and Skoda India Limited.

                                      I had sent amongst various persuasions two emails to the sales department of Jia Auto Sales Pvt. Limited and also to their General Manager and have further requested them to take up the problem with your highest authorities and have also spoken to the officers of Skoda India Limited over telephone.

                                      Finally in the month of September 2016 I had been let known from both the dealer as well as your representative over phone that the braking problems in my car cannot be fixed. Kindly note the main component of the drivability of a car is its Brakes and Steering which are automatically controlled, which when becomes defective makes the car completely unsafe & unworthy. The breaking problem was reported since the very next day of delivery of a brand new car to the dealership. The car was reported with defective brake attachments on the very second day of delivery. Both the rear brake drums and the front wheel disc had to be replaced. A part of the steering attachment also had to be replaced. Many other defects of various natures were also reported. All the problems remains unresolved till date and the car delivered to me was ridden with manufacturing defects and as such I have been very dissatisfied with the product and the service provided by you and I feel defrauded. Even due to the malfunctioning of the break I faced two severe accidents in the high road while returning from your workshop.

                                      You are requested to replace the said car with a car of equivalent or higher model or pay me a sum of Rs. 15, 00, 000/- which is the price of a new car along with a sum of Rs. 5, 00, 000/- as compensation plus Rs. 3, 00, 000/- as compensation due to my mental and physical harassment within seven days here from. It is pertinent to mention that I am still continuing the payment of EMI.

                                      In the event you fail to comply with my aforementioned request I shall have no other alternative but to pursue legal recourse against the dealer Jia Auto Sales Pvt. Limited and your company, Skoda India Limited which may be of Civil and Criminal in nature, as may be advised.

                                      It is the worst brand I have ever used. Even I am going to sue the company as they are selling the faulty product and replace the same to new vehicles after detecting and are not willing to replace for the cars manufactured and sold before detecting the fault. They have sold Rapid vehicle with defective fuel injectors till June 2012 and have used new brand injectors in new vehicles and they are not ready to recall the manufactured before June 2012. They are charging upto one lakh for replacement for old vehicles.

                                      One advice for Skoda buyers please don't buy Skoda products or be ready to give 4 to 5 lakhs to the company as parts cost in 4 to 5 years. So if your car price is 10 lakh be ready to spend 5 lakhs on parts and labour in next 5 years
                                      this skoda is such an idiotic over-rated brand...my new car have a manufacturing defect i told them to check and sort it out but the technicians who came to check the car gave me a suggestion to switch off the engine and start again when ever yu face this problem it seems... i sent it to workshop cause i didn't want to use my car like that way... later on i got a call from the servicing center saying there's a technical problem n some ### it ll cost 50k for repair...when i did my back ground research and asked them in detail they saying they gave me good will to make me happy as a customer which doest make any sense...i wish i could help customers like me to sue the company baap!!!
