Jai Skoda - Gurgaon delivered the new Skoda Rapid 1L TSI Automatic at 8:30 PM on 21st September. The dealer had eight months old manufactured car, which they did not inspect properly. While driving back home, there was a rattling noise from the glove box and left side rearview mirror. The following day, we went to the showroom and raised our concern regarding this issue. GM of Jai Skoda sent a newly delivered car to the workshop. After 3 test ride inspection, they identified that glove box cover and left side rearview mirror needs to be changed. Initially, the advisor at the service station advised putting a double tape in the glove box of a car worth 14 lakhs delivered a day before. To fix the issue, they removed front dashboard components and still, they were unable to resolve the issue.

As an owner, I wasn't expecting my car to be in the service station within 18 hours of delivery. My question to Skoda is that why before delivery dealer did not appropriately inspect the vehicle? Why was the manufacturing date of the car not shared earlier? Before taking the car delivery, I enquired multiple times that when the car was manufactured. But they didn't answer. After verifying the VIN, I came to know that car was manufactured eight months before. Even during the delivery, I saw some minor scratches on the body and dirt marks inside the vehicle. I raised this issue, and the executive and GM at Jai Skoda assured me that I need not worry, and in case of any problem within the first 15 days, they will replace the car.

After an intensive search, I decided to go for Skoda as Skoda is known for its build quality. I am sad to say that Skoda is not worth considering. At Least not from Jai Skoda. If a product like Rapid, which has its assembly line from last 8-10 years, has defects. What should one expect from newly-launched vehicles like Kushaq and upcoming cars like Slavia? I want Skoda to take the necessary action. We are not going to accept that car that requires maintenance within 18 hours of delivery. Please process a refund or provide a fresh vehicle that is free from any manufacturing defects.

    I bought a Skoda rapid diesel on 23 /10/2018. Till date the it ran only 11000 km.
    The cars injection pump got damaged on April 5. Only one pump was replaced at that time even after we requested for all 4 injection pumps to be replaced. Then again the car stopped working last Sunday
    Again they said that injection pump is damaged
    If only one is replaced this time this problem is going to continue
    We can’t safely take the car even for small distances due to this issues
    Hope you will look into the issues this time and replace all 4 pumps

      Car service complaint - Akoya skoda baner - Pune

      My name is Mohit Sinha and my vehicle Skoda Rapid (KA 53 ME 1881) was serviced at Akoya Skoda Baner (Pune) on 17th September 2021.

      There was leakage in the front shocker due to which service centre executive Mr. Kishor Bendre said that the shocker had to be replaced.
      The Next day after charging Rs 35, 407/- still there is a problem which is persistent in the front shocker and making noise from it.

      Dear Sir/Madam,

      I had cancelled my booking of Skoda Kushaq on 28th of August, 2021 and today is 15th of September, 2021 i.e. it has been more than 15 days, 18 days infact and I have still not got the refund yet. I contacted Akoya Motors, Viman Nagar, Pune for Kushaq and booked the vehicle on 10th of August, 2021. Then I've been constantly asking for the refund for past 18 days and everytime what I hear is an excuse. I was clearly told that the refund process would be done within 10 to 15 days. Kindly refund my Rs. 35, 101 which I paid for booking. If this behavior continues, I don't think any customer will be happy with that.

        Sir,

        I purchased the tyres from Mahaveer Skoda from Hyderabad in Feb 2020, and it is with in the warranty period .

        Tyre ran for aound 6k to 8K Kms, and it got blasted and immediately informed the Service team and they are making me run behind them from last 1 month giving some silly reasons or not answering my calls.

        Today they come back with the reason stating that it cant be service and they do not have the reason.

        this is not the first time they have cheated be. it has been happening from the day 1 i purchased the car.

        My care number is TS09 EF 1701. I home at least u guys help me in resolving the issues

          A few years back I made a blunder by buying a Skoda car (Registration number - PB11BW 0010) and I am paying for my decision till date. The parts of the company are of the worst quality one could ever imagine (I bet Maruti makes better cars than Skoda) and the attitude of the company to loot the customers and fuel to the fire. Recently, my car's Air condition started malfunctioning and I visited Krishna Auto Sales, Chandigarh where I was told that the compressor or my car needs replacement and an estimate of 80, 000/- was provided to me. To my luck, Mr. Mann working with Krishna Skoda Ludhiana came to my rescue and informed me that there was nothing wrong with the compressor and it was just some sensor that needed replacement. After getting the required service done, the car was delivered to me but to my horror now the gas was still leaking and I could still hear the hissing sound from the AC vents (I would also like to add here that my friends travelling with me in my car never fail to mention that I should have bought a Maruti instead) When checked up again, I am being informed that the AC coil has leaked and needs replacement, which had already been replaced a year and a half back from Sidak Automobiles, Karnal (Not to mention the SUPERIOR quality of your products that every 6 months a part malfunctions). I am being declined warranty on the part on the basis that the people at Sidak Automobiles, Karnal had not changed the required parts at the time of service.

          I lodged a complaint with the customer care today itself and there is no revert till now. It's been a month that i have not driven my car. I have the entire track record, dates, parts replaced, etc. which will make it easier for me to openly increase awareness regarding your top quality products and amazing customer care services to my friends, families, followers and what not.

          If you people really do care about your customers (which sounds funny now), please feel free to call me on my number +91 [protected] so that I can have one final word from one sensible person before I start to proceed with my plan. The registration number has been attached with the email, which will make it easier for your people to extract the car history.

            I am pasting a mail which I’ve written to skoda India below it has all the details of issue I’ve been facing from past 3 years please help

            Dear Sir, Madam,
            I am writing to complaint about the inadequate and unsatisfactory service I received from 3 of your service centers.

            I met with an accident on 14 October 2018 midnight, on 15th October morning around 10AM I did all the formalities of insurance and got the vehicle to workshop from RSA around 11:00PM, the accident was major vehicle got damaged from left side quarter panel, front whole suspension, real axel was hanging, rear suspension, front headlights, bumper, windshield, condenser, airbags deployed etc, but thankyou skoda for the best in class safety I was perfectly good didn’t even get a jerk or any injury, service head muzammil from sagar auto tech skoda dealer visited the accident site and told me that this car can’t be repaired, it’s a total loss, I asked them to give this to me in writing as i could ask the insurance company to give me the total loss settlement, but he refused to give in writing I even spoke to the owner of sagar auto tech he said we can’t give this in written as insurance Company can see the condition and they will decide, insurance company decided to repair the car after a month or 2, even when I requested them to total loss it as the workshop had told me that car can’t be repaired, insurance company wanted the workshop to give in writing they didn’t, I asked skoda India to give in writing but they said it will be repaired as per skoda authenticity all parts can be changed and it can be repaired as it was before the accident, it took me a month to request for total loss as it was in my head after the workshop told me verbally that it can’t be repaired properly, and I had seen the service of sagarautotech skoda the unprofessional staff and mechanics there, I tried to get it total loss but they denied and asked to get it repaired or they’ll close the file, what other option I was left with, in February 2019 my car which was parked at open road in front of sagarautotech skoda went inside the workshop almost after 3.5months, body shop manager Nafey khan started processing the formalities and asked me to pay 3-4 lakhs advance as it’s a big claim, i said i want a cashless settlement according to them they didn’t have a tie up with united India insurance, I requested united India insurance to give a cashless claim they accepted and provided me a mail, still body shop manager asked me to pay some amount 2 lakhs atleast if I want the car to be repaired fast as he said there are disputes going on between dealership and skoda, I asked them I can get it repaired at other skoda dealership, they said you’ll have to pay 25-30k for Parking the car at their workshop it’s a loss get it repaired from here only and started dismantling the car within a week told me the estimate around 12 lakhs and insurance will pay 90% of it, it was 0 dep insurance, every single day I used to visit the workshop and the speed of work was too slow first 2 months they just kept dismantling the car, they used to order parts in parts by telling me the company doesn’t supply parts on time, it took more than a year to repair the car by February 2020 car was repaired with unprofessional people and workshop which didn’t have a proper setup they used to work with a single tube light in a paint booth so what can I expect what quality of work anyone can get just a car with all new suspension new 2nd copy DuPont paint quality, i was fine atleast I got my car back I could notice major defect in paint as I am into detailing profession, I couldn’t find major issue with suspension but after test driving there was major juddering and vibration while braking, and car pulls to left side even when the tires are new, suspension is new, kept on complaining but there was no solution for it and finally the dealership got closed, started noticing paint defects like overspray of paint, pin holes, paint getting off from edges, stone chips and rusting few days later coolant warning light occurred I called muzammil got the car checked he said take it to indore workshop sent the car to satguru motors indore got the vehicle checked there, told them the history and they diagnosed the car and said there are few parts which needs to be replaced, brake discs brake pads, rear bearing, some suspension parts, and the coolant wall as there was leakage, and assured that the issues I am facing with the car will be resolved as the car is repaired good there is no issue, just the paint in not done properly and he said the defects which we can see can be repaired but it will cost you and from his side he got the vehicle polished and said you can complain to Skoda that workshop everyone know how they work, I got the parts he told changed costed me around 18-19k, went in a test drive I could still feel the vibration and juddering and the new noise started coming from the rear side while apply brakes he said you take the car to bhopal as indore to bhopal road is good for testing the vehicle and if still I feel anything I can visit anytime, I paid the bill and left for bhopal, braking got better as the discs and pads were new, rear humming noise was not there, coolant issue was resolved, car pulling towards left was there, kept on complaining again went to satguru motors indore got the vehicle checked about the braking issue and car pulling towards left, they diagnosed and said they can find some uneven dent or fitting of the engine mounting or gear mounting under the battery, and said it will take time to diagnose this and braking issue and car pulling left can be related to this, I went to bhopal workshop got it checked on video call with satguru motors they asked to change the mounting I got it changed, still there was no change the problem was still there, kept on complaining and waiting for the new dealership to open in bhopal as travelling is not easy, but here the new dealership also took a lot of time to open, went for a routine alignment balancing check at a random tyre shop, the alignment guy was noticing the car and asked me have you ever met with an accident with this car I was like yes, he said the doom is out by 14 points I didn’t know what is it, he checked the rear gap and fitting of axel he noticed and told me that the car is pulling towards left is because of this and even the braking vibration and juddering too can be because of this get it checked, I made a call on skodaindia customer care and complaint about it, Mrs Shabana is looking into the case, asked me to report the car at indore workshop i visited and showed them all paint defects, front doom, rear axle, rusting, they said they will look into the matter as the work is done by sagar skoda which is closed, spoke to Mrs Shabana and for my convenience she asked me to wait few weeks as skoda bhopal dealership was setting up and it was better for me to wait, finally on 6th of august the dealership got inaugurated few days later I visited the workshop showed them the issues and even they asked me to give them 2, 3 days time as they need to discuss the matter with area manager and dealership owner, finally got the appointment on Friday 13/08/2021, visited there and asked the receptionist to get the vehicle in as there was a appointment.

            Mrs Neelima and Mrs Sapna met both they told me we have spoken to the area manager and to the dealership owner, area manager has said that it’s a old case now customer has to get it repaired on his own cost, dealership owner said we have not opened this dealership to clean the dirty matter of old dealership owned by Tehseen khan, and advised me to get it repaired from the sagar auto tech which is still running without skoda dealership but they are repairing skoda cars,

            How unprofessional skoda can be, I am requesting you out of respect as i still believe in skoda it can do better, I understand the dealership was not good or whatever the dispute was but why should i suffer, firstly I waited for more than a year to get my car back and another year to get it checked now a year more you want me to suffer, when there was a major issue with the car why skoda didn’t give it in a writing that it can’t be repaired and gone ahead with the repairs just for money?, why satguru motors indore changed the parts and cost me 18-19k by assuring me the issue will be resolved just for money?, braking vibration, juddering, brake lining noise, rear drum humming noise, paint defects, rusting, a noise coming from rear side body, front doom, rear axle, rear under body rusting near axle this all I want to be changed and repaired with all original methods done by company at company’s cost, it’s your fault your authorised dealership fault, skoda should pay all the expenses and if there is another issue after dismantling related to the accident repairs even those will be covered by skoda, as Mr Rizwan, Mr Ashraf, Mr Usman these 3 technicians are currently working in Jagdish skoda new dealership in bhopal, they only have repaired my car at sagar autotech bhopal, they know the history they also know and accept what type of work was done there and by them only and I finally don’t have any choices that I will get it repaired from bhopal or indore I can get it repaired at any dealership which skoda recommends as this new dealership is out of parts too, yesterday itself I got my car serviced (13/8/21) rear wheel bearing has to be changed in warranty but they didn’t have it in stock, brake lining they didn’t have in stock, in Service they don’t even check gear oil, brake oil, they don’t have lubricant for gates which is included in service, belt buckle not available, hope gets better as the dealership is new parts are on the way according to them.

            I am expecting from skoda India that my car should be repaired prefectly without and makeshifter, and if it can’t be repaired provide me a new car, as I could only drive and take pleasure of my Skoda for a year.

                Dear Skoda,

                I have been loyal customer of Skoda from last decade. I am using Skoda rapid now. I requested for test drive of Skoda Kushaq which I am planning to buy in next 2-3months. I had very cold response from Skoda Showroom of Viman Nagar. I am still awaiting for test drive from last 4days. This is how you treat your loyal customers. I have booked test drive from Pune Viman Nagar Showroom. They want me to take test according to their convenience. Why should I do that? I am medical doctor. This is not the service which I am expecting from Skoda.

                  I srikanth am from hyderabad am facing some coolant dry issue i was visited twise your dealership but problem was not resolved they charged 4535 + 2323 collected from my end but problem not resolved vehicle stopped at road side your dealer was not responded my calls also can you please solve my vehicle issue because your dealer not responding they are not picking my calls also.

                    I am the owner of Skoda rapid bearing RC No: AP 10 BG-474

                    I visited the work shop at Secundeerabad (Mahavir-skoda) run by M/S Lohitha Life Sciences on 20.11.2020.

                    They collected Rs 18333/- on the plea of providing 2 years service package.
                    No receipt is issued and no servicing is done.

                    While making payment through debit cards an amount of Rs 18333/- is paid erroneously twice.

                    In spite sending reminders, the work shop is not responding by returning me Rs 36666/- .Hence the complaint.

                    The amount demanded by me may be returned together with interest @18% from the date of deposit till the date of making payment.

                      I paid advance Rs25000 for Kushaq on 25th june21. After test drive I requested for refund on 1st July on wats app. There after regularly following for refund. Some or other excuse but even after 30 days I have not received refund

                        I have purchased Skoda rapid on Aug 3, 2020. 2 weeks back I had given my car to the service center back the windshield was broken so that time they fixed and they did water service, rat kit snd other services also. They delivered my card after that i m facing a Sensor problem ABS indication is blinking. Again I inform the service center I m facing this problem now they asking the charger to replace the sensor even one year is not complete.

                          I am a great fan of Skoda and was in love with KAROOQ .iUnfortunately it was not available to me because of limited CBUs in India . I waited for KUSHAQ for almost a year but was disappointed with the not so SKODAish feel we get in other skoda vehicles . Even more, the non availability of a electronic seat adjustment for The driver seat atleast in the style variant will impact the SKODA followers negatively . I never imagined the cost cut will be so intense so as not to give the vehicle the feel of SKODA is unacceptable : please consider :: I will Lata love to be with SKODA .

                            After completion of due payments and procedures since 3-4 working days, I haven't received my Registration Certificate or vehicle number yet. I've tried reaching the dealership but i got no response, no status and no reply whatsoever. My vehicle was purchased from Grand Motors Bilaspur Chhattisgarh. The vehicle is running in temporary registration despite of penalty charges. Kindly provide the status of my vehicle as I have no clue regarding the same and it is hugely dissapointing. Thank you.

                              I went to BLC autosales pvt ltd Hisar for my Skoda rapid bearing Reg no. HR20AD1341 routine service.
                              Nobody attended me on the workshop. Even the job card was not prepared. Then a person without uniform came and drained engine oil from my car and poured engine oil of petrol version in my diesel engine car.
                              Then I saw the grey plastic bottles and objected about this. He drained the petrol version engine oil and poured diesel version engine oil.
                              My Car's display digital meter is malfunctioning after the service. After so much negligence, the staff forced me to give 10 points if asked for feedback of service.
                              Kindly take proper action for this negligence...

                                If this problem will not solve soon,

                                  Fog gets accumulated on both the Head lamps during Mansoon, I have been complaining about it from the time I bought the car but no action has been taken . There are chances of meeting with an accident due to the poor visibility. Your service people say it’s a common problem with Skoda vehicles can’t help it . Kindly take necessary action to avoid any further complications.

                                    I have booked a new Skoda rapid plus several weeks ago. recently, i heard that the specific variant is stopped due to Covid pandemic. This is not acceptable that i have to wait for 2 weeks to hear this reason. . Moreover, i have paid a token advance of 25000/- and the engineer is repaying the amount saying that I can't able to get a hold of it. Kindly intervene and get this booked Asap.
