We registered a complaint on 24th aug 2020, to mahavir skoda pvt, ltd secundrabad and skoda india customer care regarding my vehicle rapid style plus 1.5 tdi. (Res. No: ts 01 eh 4554). I am facing repeated problems,
Since first year of my purchase.

But no proper respone had been recieved from mahavir skoda and customer care.

I kindly request you to look after this issue.
Skoda India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
Iam unable to travel in skoda rapid since last year because of fear about death ..two Times strucked vehicle in running on road and same problem is occurring in engine...I feel sad about my life so that I kept my vehicle IDEAL.
Kindly you take my vehicle back on no cost.
Please understand my situation..

    Greetings,

    It is with utmost despair i am writing to you of all the atrocities i have faced from one of your dealers, aryaveer skoda.

    Being a proud owner of skoda cars in the past i had decided to get myself and my family the utmost luxury and top of the line skoda superb, l&t variant. I had purchased this car on 24/05/2018 from a local dealer (Channel motors) in haldwani, uttrakhand.

    On 31/12/2019 my car met with an accident in delhi. With the 24*7 road side assistance feature i was able to get my car to the nearest dealer, aryaveer skoda. After completing all the insurance formalities i was assured that my car will be ready in no time and that i can drive my car the way it was before. Since my insurance policy was not a cashless one and the amount for the repair of my car was also huge i was provided with a satisfaction from the dealer that the bill for the same will be generated after repairing the car and that the same will be forwarded to the insurance company for the claim money to be credited in my bank account. With that money i could come and collect my car from the dealer. However plain and simple it sounds it became a nightmare for me when the world met with a catastrophe, the covid-19 pandemic.

    In this time of crises my insurance policy also got expired and renewed by the same insurance company, united insurance as my claim had still not been settled. There wasn’t much communication from any end as the virus had taken over everything, literally everything.

    Three months of the lockdown had passed and still no sign of my money or of any communication from either end. During that time i learned that my mother was diagnosed with cancer and we had to rush for her treatment in these troubled times. It became difficult for me to coordinate with anyone.in june when i got a little bit of time away from the hospital visits, i learned from the insurance surveyor that my claim document had been tampered with. The time and place of the accident had been tampered with and that the claim for the same had been delayed due to that. I was very furious to know that because i clearly remembered filling the details in the claims form myself and signing it too. The copy of the same is with me for future reference.
    After being in constant touch with the insurance people and repeatedly calling them back and forth for my claim money they finally credited the money on 06/08/2020 to my bank account which was ₹3, 49, 999 (Three lakh forty nine thousand nine hundered and ninety nine only). Because i am not a resident of delhi i went to the dealership on the 19/08/2020 only to know this from them that they have committed a mistake by not raising a supplement invoice to the insurance company. The invoice dealership raised was of ₹4, 45, 262 (Four lakh forty five thousand two hundred and sixty two only) and the amount i received was ₹3, 49, 999. There were 21 (Twenty one) spare parts items that were missing in the estimated bill but were on the actual bill and no supplement was raised from the dealership side to the insurance company and also there were 16 (Sixteen) spare parts items that were missing in the actual bill but were on the estimated bill. Due to these discrepancies of the skoda dealership (Aryaveer skoda) the insurance company not only took months and months to delay my car claim but also credited the amount in accordance with the estimated bill that was raised initially.
    The body shop manager, mr sandeep sethi owing to the mistake he committed asked me for three days time to consult with his superiors when i went to aryaveer skoda dealership on 19/08/2020. It has been 15 days since my visit to the dealership and no communication has been made to rectify their mistake and give me back my car which is at their workshop from the past eight months now and counting.

    During these times of crises both financially and personally i’ve managed to pay my car premiums on time having to only know that i am paying for a car that is sitting at some dealers workshop since eight months and counting. You tell me who is bearing the interest and depreciation for the car that he’s not even driving?
    It pains me to write this to you that in the light of all that has happened in these past eight months i sincerely request you to look into my matter with utmost priority and solve my problem by handing me back my car in the newest condition and by taking the money for the same that has been given by the insurance company, ₹3, 49, 999.
    I sincerely am looking forward for nothing but a satisfaction and assurance that i will have my car soon and that i don’t have to pay anything extra for the mistakes done at the dealership end. I do feel the urge to ask for a compensation as well but because i’ve been a loyal customer of skoda over the past decade i hope my complaint will be adhered to and be resolved at the earliest.

    After sending this formal complaint to skoda and the dealership the gm, mr yogesh gupta of aryaveer skoda assured me to resolve the matter within the next day after i spoke to him on 7/09/2020 but it’s been almost a week that they are just asking for time and more time and i am paying premium on my car every month and so on without having to drive it.

    I have no words left to describe my feelings but the pain and despair i am feeling has literally worsened. Not only aryaveer skoda is not giving my car back but is asking for full payment, ₹4, 42, 262 and not ₹3, 49, 999 which i got from the insurance company due to the mistakes at their end. On top of this they are asking for parking charges as they are the ones because of whom my claim was settled eight months late. I am sickened by this behaviour of theirs and they have left me no choice but to go public and social on them and skoda.
    I did report skoda of all the atrocities i had to face at this dealership and you didn’t do anything about it or took it very lightly. Now they (Aryaveer skoda) have crossed their boundaries. I never thought owning a skoda car would be such a pathetic experience. I condemn this behaviour of theirs and not going to comply with them at all.

      I own a skoda rapid and faced oil leakage issues while in warranty. Sent the car to jai auto for sevicing and reported the issue. They returned the car back after charging me for servicing and some seal change. Again the issue increased and i sent the vehicle again in dec'19 when car is still under warranty and i demanded thorough diagnosis of the car, they kept the car for 8days and again sent back stating that issue is resolved and i need to top up the car with engine oil continuously.
      I followed the same and kept on topping up with engine oil. It went worse, it was pathetic driving a skoda and stopping on way to top up with oil.
      I was in continuous touch with service manager who misguided me. Then lockdown followed and i sent me car again with the same "oil leakage" issue and guess what??

      I am told that the engine needs replacement because of oil leakage and car is not under warranty now, thus, i am asked to pay engine cost.
      Have been writing emails, calling customer care but no proper response. They just want me to pay 50% cost and labour charges.
      But my question is that i reported the car during warranty and it should be covered 100% under warranty only.
      They are cheating on me. I am suffering everyday without a car which is standing in service center for more than a month now.
      No escalation
      No after sales
      No customer care
      Bad choice altogether

      Please help

        Hello Skoda,

        I am writing this after multiple calls and emails with Tafe access limited.
        My car was met with an accident when left for servicing and the loaner vehicle was not arranged for us on time, we needed a vehicle to send my parents to native.
        We really had a tough time sending them back.
        Now Tafe access is asking for my details to claim internal insurance
        But they are not giving any reason for not arranging a loaner vehicle for my parents to get back to their native
        We were not even informed that the loaner vehicle was not arranged.
        My experience with Tafe access has been worst.
        1.In 2018 My car broke down in a highway when it had been only 13 hours since I got it Tafe access service centre after service and when I spoke about this the GM says ‘ITS A MACHINE IT BREAKSDOWN’
        Atleast this is not we accept after we get our SKODA car from servicing

        2. In 2019 I left for my new skoda Rapid for 1st service I had chosen pick up and drop service for my car.
        After the service while on the way back the driver called saying there is no petrol in the car!
        Is this how they deliver the car post service?
        When we question they say SORRY and apologise.
        We have excused them also every time

        So this is the 3rd time I have an issue in Tafe access service centre.
        Even this time they are saying sorry and when I am asking them to give me clarity about the accident and about not providing loaner vehicle on time they are just forcing me to give them by documents to claim insurance.
        They are asking me close this issue and not drag it which is very rude.
        They are only pressurising me to send my documents and asking me to resolve this issue as soon as possible as I am only dragging it everyday.
        Don’t I have a right to know what happened to my car and who hit my car?
        After all i have bought it in my hard earned money.
        Hoping some help from skoda.

          I had an issue with the drive ability of the car which i had made a complaint to the official skoda email id on november 2019. I have not received any update regarding it i am none of the service centres that i have been to have acknowledged or even rectified the complaint. I kept getting suggestions to change the suspension despite there being no issues in it. I have been wrestling with the car for the past 10 months. Recently a third party non-skoda workshop diagnosed my issue and found that it was the right lower arm ball socket that was broken. I got it changed and now my complaint is completely rectified and my skoda is back to its old drivability. The sort of inefficiency and poor knowledge about the car and its parts is baffling coming from a large auto-manufacturer.in this process i have also lost one of my tires due to faulty wheel alignment, and that is going to cost me another 12k.

            I am facing this issue since past 1 year as my car skoda superb instrument cluster led's are not functioning properly. At the service station they said they will replace the instrument cluster which costs around 100k. I have faced numerous issues in this car but i thought it was wear and tear with every car though in this car wear and tear is quite more than others. But i don't think this instrument cluster issue is due to wear and tear. I have owned many cars over last 10 years and i haven't faced problems of instrument lights ever. Why skoda has all the issues? I want this to be replaced in goodwill warranty which skoda is refusing

              I booked my skoda rapid rider on 07 july 2020 in delhi aryaveer motors by paying 25, 000 rupees, but even after contacting them on a daily basis i'm not getting my car. They say that i should consider rider plus but why? I chose rapid rider and i want only that. If you do not provide that think that the customer is fool, then you are absolutely wrong. If skoda doesn't provide me my car even after the confirmation call, then it will be breach of contract and i will take necessary action.

                I had confirmed my booking for skoda rapid rider dated 08/07/2020 with an amount of 11000/- in indore at satguru skoda showroom. During booking it was confirmed to me that car will be provided in this month. However now (15/07/2020) they are communicating that there is 90% chance for getting the car. If i want i should take next version. (Skoda relationship manager sameer khan [protected]).

                I request to provide the variant which i selected and got confirmation of booking by a call from skoda.

                  When i am facing heating light on my car i am told company. Company says mein i am help you very very much please give me some days your car.

                  Companies mechanical master says mi your gadi problems in injection change injector and diesel nozzle its
                  Estimate 125000 thousand.
                  But god help me i am not a agree with him and say i want to wait.

                  Some years later. I am facing abs light then i go to companies and repair it.
                  Unfortunately the heating light is sow not. I am lucky feel that.
                  Ahmedabad company is very very higher bill and labour charged.
                  Company employee are mostly competition in him companies hai to hai bill collecting customer.

                  I am expense so many money in my car in my life.

                  As customer i say never purchase skoda fore wheel.
                  Company employee expense your money any reasons.

                    My rapid 1.5 5.5 yrs old.. 33000 on kms. Thirty three thousand run. Fuel injector coil light is up again, same has hpnd 1 yr back. Warranty is not ter as it's 5 yrs crossed. Wil skoda india still help us or wat.

                      I bring to your kind notice that it has been detected to replace the battery by the scoda madurai service center. The warranty period of my vehicle tn 58 ar 2632 ends in the month of may during the lockdown period. Due to the strict rules and regulations of the government, the vehicle could not be brought before may month. But i had already registered for a through service before may month for which i didn't get any reply. Now claim that it is the responsibility of the company to replace the battery since the date fall on the lackdown period. If not, i may appeal to the consumer court for further justice.

                        Accident due to tyre burst and car caught in fire.

                        the accident happened 42kms before trichy on a flyover near valanaadu, kaikaati, trichy on november 4th by 11.45 am. My son was driving in an average speed limit without failing any traffic rules, suddenly the front left tyre got burst and the car got drifted and got dragged for nearly 100 feet and it went upside down and dashed in left barricade and immediately car started to catch fire from the front bonnet and within minutes...

                          09/08/2019: complaint
                          In hyderabad journey of our family with kids one tyre given problem (Air bubble). We further continued our trip with patch work to the tyre. After the trip we approached local mrf showroom with the guidance of skoda show room. But local mrf dealer refused to take back the tyre because of patch to the tyre at the time of hyderabad trip.
                          11/12/2019:
                          1st servicing done at vijayawada showroom for kms – 16, 520. We asked and taken a letter about tyre complaint from skoda showroom to mrf tyres.
                          05/02/2020:
                          Car accident happened nearby tirupati to renigunta bypass road. At the time of accident we were five members in that.
                          Damages are:
                          1. 2 tyres (Front and back) along with disk in left side
                          2. Left side foot rest (Portion).
                          3. Left side back light.
                          Action taken on the spot:
                           informed to the showroom and liberty insurance on the spot
                           with to towing assistance arranged by liberty insurance car is taken away from accident spot to local garage at tirupati.
                           on the same day we applied for claim from the local garage at tirupati. Claim no. 500101201119110514901.
                           up to february 19th i didn’t received any response.
                           again i have given complaint to vijayawada showroom over phone asking the reason for delay and irresponsible behavior of insurance company. Though also i didn’t get any reply from them up to 25th february.
                           25/02/2020: at last we decided to handover the (Vehicle) car to vijayawada showroom from tirupati garage through towing assistance and amount paid by me only.
                           so far i didn’t receive any response either from skoda showroom or from liberty insurance regarding the car accident issue and claim also.

                          If the situation is like this, what can i do in such a case.
                          Please respond to this at the earliest.

                            I see that my car battery is gone in 2 years and service center is telling to replace the battery. Wen the vehicle was delivered i was told there is a 4 years guarantee.
                            Skoda is misleading customers by saying that there is 4 years warranty for components and not giving same warranty for battery as lot of components depend on it.
                            If battery is generic third party component where warranty cannot be increased then i should be allowed to buy it from vendors other than service center without making the warranty void for electrical components. This is because the service centers charge high prices (Close to 8000rs + pick/drop charges 1000rs) the battery outside will be replaced at my site at close 5000 rs with 4 years warranty.
                            Though vehicle is good i am thinking not to recommend this to anyone since the service is very bad.

                              My self biswait mohanty and i own a skoda rapid for my wife registration no. Mh 12 rf 6010, 20 jan 2019.
                              I was enrolled for 4 year smp package at that point of time through the dealer ethix skoda, bhandarkar road, pune.
                              The dearler no longer exists. The dealership was taken over by garve skoda.
                              During my last service i had to face issue because my car was not registered in the system for smp and i was under continuous follow up with manager of ethix skoda and garve skoda.
                              My car 1st service is due now. Please help me to sort this issue asap.
                              When i called to book appointment i was told that there is no such package registered in system and i will have to pay for the service.

                              This is extremely disappointing and bad service by team skoda.. I have to go through so much of trouble because of the dealership switch. Not only me but other customers are also facing the same issues of smp as per my knowledge.

                                My Skoda Rapid has crossed running 85k kms in 7 years. Last week my car got serviced in Gurudev Guindy Chennai. Suddenly yesterday my car got stuck while driving at mid night on Highways, I noticed coil and pump symbol was blinking. Now, after analyzing it, they came to know, fuel injector got failed due to bad quality of Diesel and now they are asking me pay 25k which is neither covered in Insurance nor Warranty. I donno what they are servicing it, can't they analyze such things because they are not new to undergo these issues.

                                So far no update from Skoda. No confidence in bringing the issues here and get it resolved.

                                  I have taken skoda rapid in jan 2017 and replaced clutch three times and recently, i replaced clutch and after 3 days only agitated clutch is coming hard. I have been telling from the first time when it failed it’s issue with product, no one is helping me. Rather they are making wait for week or even more make me pay the amount for clutch and take the vehicle. This time, i requested both service station and skoda india to identify the root cause and pay me back my money which is charged for clutch replacement 3 time within 16000 km driven vehicle. Please help me.

                                  Clutch has been replaced every 6 months in row and total vehicle run is only 16k .This is something to do with faulty product and I have sent all the invoices to Skoda india that what they have charged

                                    I had purchased skoda rapid, diesel top end on november 14, 2019, and the car has covered 4700kms till date.
                                    From the date of purchase my car is erratically pulling towards left, on straight roads.

                                    So far i’ve paid multiple visits to gurudev skoda, guindy, and had them acknowledge the issue with no solutions till date.

                                    Job card date: 22 november 2019
                                    Job card# 05463: 393 kms

                                    Job card date: 31 december 2019
                                    Job card# 055368: 2027 kms

                                    Job card date: 21 january 2020
                                    Job card# 055669: 3599 kms

                                    During the last visit (21 jan 2020), gurudev skoda, guindy, arranged a team from skoda pune, to inspect my car.

                                    According to their instructions, the front suspension setup was removed and re-installed with a bush to get rid of grinding noise from steering.
                                    The grinding noise is gone, but car still pulls towards left.

                                    My question
                                    Was this procedure not followed in the factory during build of the car?

                                    The service team (From technician to manager), says, it’s normal for a car to slightly pull towards left, but i disagree with them, as other cars which i drive runs perfect maintaining a straight track.

                                    Also i find defects in the car, which was discussed with the service team, but not addressed.

                                    The service team does not listen to the customer, nor understand the root cause of the problem. Rather say this is normal comparing to another problematic car.
                                    Their final report indicates that the car runs fine on paper, but not in real world conditions.

                                    End result, nasty scratches on alloy wheels in the name of wheel alignment with fuel expenses to the customer in the name of test drives.

                                    Having spent 14 lakhs buying a new car i don’t enjoy the defective product, as it causes severe pain on my shoulder.

                                    Need the team concerned to address the issue.
                                    Skoda India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                                      I am sripathy from ooty. I had booked skoda rapid 1.5tdi diesel on sga cars on december 20, 2019. The car is really amazing but the service of this is very worst. I did not receive my car now also. Vechile invice i booked one car but, they gave 2 invice but, the another invice was vechile engine number and chase number i have put the insurance after that in sga cars sales rep contact me he said, i send the wronge invice, now i will send the correct invice. I have put the wrong invice as insurance. The insurance amount was 46, 267 i paid for the insurance for this what i can do for you? This is also ok but on last wednesday 4:30 pm 12:02:2020 they had promised us but they didn't give the vehicles original cost i had paid 1lacks. I had booked for a function but they didn't give the car on date, now i am upset i had decided that i don't want the car. Please return the cash to me or talk to sga cars and say me some news. With this i had attached 2 invice copy please action quick for this. Thank you
