I had purchased skoda rapid, diesel top end on november 14, 2019, and the car has covered 4700kms till date.
From the date of purchase my car is erratically pulling towards left, on straight roads.

So far i’ve paid multiple visits to gurudev skoda, guindy, and had them acknowledge the issue with no solutions till date.

During the last visit (21 jan 2020), gurudev skoda, guindy, arranged a team from skoda pune, to inspect my car.

According to their instructions, the front suspension setup was removed and re-installed with a bush to get rid of grinding noise from steering.
The grinding noise is gone, but car still pulls towards left.

My question
Was this procedure not followed in the factory during build of the car?

The service team (From technician to manager), says, it’s normal for a car to slightly pull towards left, but i disagree with them, as other cars which i drive runs perfect maintaining a straight track.

Also i find defects in the car, which was discussed with the service team, but not addressed.

The service team does not listen to the customer, nor understand the root cause of the problem. Rather say this is normal comparing to another problematic car.
Their final report indicates that the car runs fine on paper, but not in real world conditions.

End result, nasty scratches on alloy wheels in the name of wheel alignment with fuel expenses to the customer in the name of test drives.

Having spent 14 lakhs buying a new car i don’t enjoy the defective product, as it causes severe pain on my shoulder.

Need the team concerned to address the issue.

    I am sripathy from ooty. I had booked skoda rapid 1.5tdi diesel on sga cars on december 20, 2019. The car is really amazing but the service of this is very worst. I did not receive my car now also. Vechile invice i booked one car but, they gave 2 invice but, the another invice was vechile engine number and chase number i have put the insurance after that in sga cars sales rep contact me he said, i send the wronge invice, now i will send the correct invice. I have put the wrong invice as insurance. The insurance amount was 46, 267 i paid for the insurance for this what i can do for you? This is also ok but on last wednesday 4:30 pm 12:02:2020 they had promised us but they didn't give the vehicles original cost i had paid 1lacks. I had booked for a function but they didn't give the car on date, now i am upset i had decided that i don't want the car. Please return the cash to me or talk to sga cars and say me some news. With this i had attached 2 invice copy please action quick for this. Thank you

      To whom it may concern, hello sir, sir my name is bhanu tandon and i m from jammu and i have just bought your vehicle skoda rapid monte carlo edition petrol at on 3 feb 2020 from wheelocity skoda jammu. My buying experience with-this dealer was so pthateic that i would rate this dealer 0 out of 10
      The employes at wheelocity skoda jammu do not know how to sell cars, please do not recruit such dumb guys at your dealership.
      Skoda is a brand and i love its cars, i was driving a vw vento earlier for 8 years which i have sold now and i just bought your car but in just seven days of buying your vehicle i m thinking that i have bought a wrong car. The employes at wheelocity skoda are making a mockery of your brand, i m gonna sell my car in about a year and in future i won't be purchasing any vw skoda car and neither i will recommend to anyone.
      These showroom guys had left me in tears thats how bad my buying experience was. I m not happy with the service i m getting please look into this matter

        I am very disappointed with the dealers and the way Skoda is cheating customer by way of spare parts and service.
        I am the owner of vehicle KA01 MJ 2712 and purchased vehicle in Aug 2012. I use this only from home to office and back to home. Single owner and vehicle is serviced every year without fail in Vinayak Cars Service station in Okalipuram in Bangalore. Karnataka

        Ever since I have been handed over new car, one or th other problem from day 1 started. I have fed up of being owner of this.
        My vehicle has run 45000 Km in 8 years with utmost care taken by me including painting if small damage observed.

        I am the single owner driving, today I was shocked to hear from service advisor of the problem he told me and replacement to be done. Then I was really shocked, he told me the first Fuel injector to be replaced and cost Rs=26000. astonishing thing is same advisor has asked me to replace the 4 the cylinder fuel injector in Dec 2017. I did by paying huge money as he scared me vehicle will stop while running. Now again he is saying same and need to replace fist fuel injector at the cost of Rs=26000. I guess there is a nexus with company and service station to make money like this scaring consumer of replacing every 2 year one injector and cheating me. usually vehicle will not give problem even 1.5 2 Lakh kilomtere with no issue. Here I am being cheated every 2 year like this when it is run 45000 KM, They changed at 30000K, now for 15000Km asking again replace.
        I am sure they cheat in next 2 years saying replace 3rd injector, else vehicle will stop. like this they will take more than 1 lakh from me

        I want serious intervention by the consumer forum to get this free of cost, as it is daylight robbery by company and dealer to cheat common man like us where we believe in quality and service and product credibility.
        reality is they loot like this with no life of parts and make money at our cost.

        Please help to get this replaced free of cost, as I am not sure when I leave my vehicle for service, he may ask to replace 3rd and 2nd injector for money.
        Is this teh product quality and service.

        Already they looted me by replacing clutch assembly, Brake assembly and taken 50K from me. not sure how much they loot for vehicl not being used as tax and still individual owner.

        Help me please

          AC in my 2014 SKODA RAPID keep turning on and and off continuously
          Approximately 3-4 times in a minute

          I have got it checked at the authorised service center they have diagonised a faulty compressor.
          when I got it checked from an outside AC reapir specialist, they performed a scan of the vehicle and have diagonised an ECM problem.

          I fail to understand what is the real fault. Can anyone help or guide me to a good source who can solve this issue in the right and cost effective manner as i dont want to use this car for more than 6-8months

            Dear,
            I siddharth paralia, owner of skoda octavia mh46z9911, which is given for service around 20 dec 2019 for some issues as :-
            1) jurk during start and on acceleration
            2) engine mount
            3) few other things as the technician mentioned

            Today is 9th jan 2020 and still my car is in service center as the technician (Mr. Amit kadam) is not able to rectify the issue. During the first meeting he told few things have to changes then everything will be fine. After changing those parts again he says the jurk is there so we have to change engine mount and gear mouny. Now he has changed that part also after 2 weeks he says again the jurk is still there so we have open the gear box and see what is the problem. Today on 9th jan 2020 still he says the jurk is there in car so we have change some other things. I really fed up of excuses and going to the service centre to see my car.

            Problem is in around 20 days the technician are not able to find the real problem of car and still they want to play with it and my money.

            Kindly have a look in this and im going file complaint against this in consumer court.

              Went to the showroom workshop to get minor oil leakage fixed, which led to engine light problem after 1 day of fix, again got it fixed and with in 3 weeks felt car’s pickup has gone down, later came to know from inspection from outside mechanic they did not put the part properly back while fixing the last problem, which led to even higher leakage, at showroom they gave me estimate of replacing multi-clutch as it was damaged most likely due to oil leakage, spent rs 1.06lakh to get it fixed, and just 50 meters from the workshop while taking car out after fix, the engine stopped and won’t restart, and now workshop is telling ecm need to be replaced for 2 lakhs, the car is just 6yrs old just 79k km, i had toyota automatic in india and still it’s good after 100k km, in us i drove hyundai sonata for 80k miles zero problem, either skoda seems to make worst cars in the world or something is wrong with their mechanics in workshop who end up damaging another high price component when they fix one. They want me to spend another 2lakhs for something which i don’t know how it can be damaged out of a blue... And god knows what will fail after it, is there any iota of accountability on skoda towards consumers?

                Ml10b 3655 i booked for 4th serving on august in kolkotta dealer told me sir plz you came to siliguri for serving we have service camp on 6th to 8th august, i go to siliguri from my home town dibrugarh almost 1100k. M when i reachbthe service camp workshop manager told me that we didn't took your servicing materials means diesel filter air filter etc, i told him that i have already booking for servicing and yours service menager told me sir plz you arriverd on 6th of august on siliguri for serving, then workshop manager told me that sir our nxt service camp in guwahati on 14 th of august plz you accompany us i told him okk its happened i back to my hone town dibrugarh till today i make a call to dealer global kolkitta they told me sir we try to go next week till today they didn't came to guwahati
                Sir you suggest me what could i do now if my vehicle ia break down on the road for the further servicing who will be responsible for that you all are employee for the company but this is my dream car if anything could be hapoen or breakdown on road who take responsible for that this 2019 is almost finished new year will came aftet four days, what is the solution for me i go to siliguri almost 2200km up an down almost 10, 000 rs fuel 1day stay in hotel 3, 000 who will be pay
                Its you dealer fault skoda is very good and responsibility company in world wide how could you give the dealer or irreslonsible person job to your company
                Plz suggest me as soon as possible what could i do further i go to the court

                  Vehicles serviced with specific problems around preheating unit trouble and emission control unit trouble. I see two warning signages on the dashboard. Service was performed by replacing the cables. Surprisingly it costed me 5800 for replacing two cables. Never expected such costly.

                  After driving the car for 350km (Vacation trip) after couple of months, suddenly i see the heating element flashing on the dash board and also bit of jerk in the car while accelerating the car. Took the vehicle for emergency service, i was told fuel injector problem and replacement cost would be 24, 000 inr. Surprised, for the same problem 2 months before it was replacement of cables, now replacement of fuel injector.

                  I was told fuel quality could be the reason for such damages. Not sure how to check this, i take quality fuels from shell or bp only. As i see too many vehicles with such problem, skoda should do something either by quality design or maintain as part of regular maintenance.

                  Skoda india, maintenance cost is too expensive and most of the indian middle class will not be able to afford for such exorbitant prices. If no reduction in maintenance cost, skoda is not a preferred choise anymore for me for sure and sa. E for any indians.

                    My self dr harshal shinde and i own a skoda rapid registration no. Mh 12 qm 2728, may 2018.
                    I was enrolled for 4 year smp package at that point of time through the dealer ethix skoda, bhandarkar road, pune.
                    The dearler no longer exists. The dealership was taken over by garve skoda.
                    During my last service i had to face issue because my car was not registered in the system for smp and i was under continuous follow up with mr praful nerker (Manager), mrs. Daya maskare (Customer relation officer), and mrs. Kavita (Sales executive) of ethix skoda and garve skoda.
                    I had to keep my car for 8 to 10 days in service centre until the issue was sorted. I was assured that i will not have to face the issue while next servicing.
                    My second car servicing is due and i when i called to book appointment i was told that there is no such package registered in system and i will have to pay for the service.

                    This is extremely disappointing and bad service by team skoda.. I have to go through so much of trouble because of the dealership switch. Not only me but other customers are also facing the same issues of smp as per my knowledge.

                      We bought two skoda rapid in october 2016. At that time we paid for pms charges rs. 30000 per car.
                      After a year when service is due, i took my car for service – there i came to know it pms (4 years free service) was not shown in your system. So service in charge informed that i have to pay for service – i showed them pms letter and called mr. Dhaval (Sales person) & mr. Arun pandey (Vp) at skoda showroom. They talked to the service team, and i got my car with the first service without any charge.

                      The story did not end here. Now, for the second service – i faced the same issue, and it settled down the same way. They assured me that they would upgrade our record in the system.

                      Now, in this month i took my car for the third service. Again the same issue – record did not show in your system. Again i called mr. Dhaval and mr. Arun pandey; this time they told me as ownership is changed at ahmedabad, they need some time to update record – i have to pay for service, and they will reimburse the service charges.

                      After service, i paid fully for the charges from my pocket, when i tried to call mr. Arun pandey and mr. Dhaval – i was not getting proper response from them. I felt like i am cheated from skoda side.

                      I complained about the same issue when i gave a feed for car service. After that, i called toll free line and complained the same.

                      Please let me know –
                      1. Will i get reimbursement for the service charges what i paid?
                      2. Can skoda update their system for pms?

                        I am a owner of skoda rapid diesel (Dsg auto) car. My car is 3 about three years old. I the first week of september 2019 abs sensors of my car (3 in numbers) had failed, when i visited the skoda workshop which is situated in verna industrial estate, verna, south goa (In the first week of september 2019) i was told that the abs sensors for skoda rapid are not available and they require some time to order and get them.

                        Meanwhile i was enquiring about the availability of the abs sensors after every 3-4 days, in the month of november i. E.in the second week, i finally met with accident and the sole reason for this accident was failure of abs sensors which were unavailable with the workshop for about 1 and half months.

                        Now my car is lying with the above said skoda workshop for about a month due to unavailability of rear body parts of rapid car for repairs.

                        This is a humiliating and unacceptable situation which skoda puts their customers to suffer for.

                        Lastly i compromised and asked for a substitute car. Very sad to say that the skoda workshop is also not having any substitute service car to provide it for its customers who are getting suffers for such an irregularity of the company.

                        Henceforth i will never buy skoda car and will not even suggest anyone to buy.

                          Sir as per my appointment i took my car for serviceing to heak auto skoda showroom. At delivery time my car noise engine flyweel. At morning my car have not any kind of noise. But showroom not taken any action on this issue. And service manager and service adviser not even take any kind of check ride at delivery time. They said u have to do the clutch plate work and flywheel work.

                            I have given the vehicle (Octavia 2018) in calicut authorised service centre for complaint of showing coolant warning sign first they took more than 35 days to make the parts available in that authorised service centre i again gave the vehicle on 12th of nov and after 12 days when i went to deliver the serviced vehicle they said the coolant showing sign was rectified but now its showing engine warning sign and they are they don't know what the real issue is they can't make it correct and more weird reply like they need another same car to check the exact problem and i have to arrange another same vehicle!! What am i supposed to do now??

                              Wish you a good day!

                              I would like to bring my grievance toward the company ; this is really disappointing and a mental harassment to the customer as what was promised is not delivered. This was not expected from a brand like the skoda;

                              To celebrate my birthday which falls on[protected] ;i booked skoda rapid rider (1.6 lmpi petrol) version by paying the booking amount of rs 50000 on 2nd september 2019 from garve car mania private limited ; pune; maharashtra.

                              I was never given a fixed date for the delivery neither verbally nor in written and always informed waiting period is 3 months.

                              While filling the booking form the sales guy has filled the ex showroom as 7, 99, 599 lac rupees where as the actual value which of the vehicle is 6, 99, 000 lac rupees. This was a suspicious activity since the start.
                              On asking regarding the same i was said to ignore the same as it is for dealer and not for the consumer.

                              Now i am informed that the production is stopped and i won't be receiving my car. To the matter of fact this was not the first incident which i encountered ;
                              The other was a couple of days back when i received a 17 digit tin number on[protected], on downloading the skoda app it was found that tin number which was provided to me was tagged to another car. On inquiring it was found that it was system generated email and an error. Even at this point of time i was informed on[protected] that the the car which i booked is in order.
                              Please find the relevant screen shots for the same.

                              Also i see no-where a clause mentioning that skoda india has rights to cancel the order at any point of time in the booking receipt and also the registration form.

                              My main concern is that if the car was not to be delivered then why the dealer booked the car at first point in time and if now booked then what is the reason is it cancelled after almost 70 days.
                              The dealer did not send out proper communication to me even when the car is cancelled nor is he looping me in any communication to the production unit even on asking.
                              I was comfortable paying the entire amount 1 week before delivery but i was never told to do so as well.

                              The negligence of the dealer has wasted my time, the initial booking amount. And also my birthday celebration.

                              This car was best in salon car above 4 meters and so i preferred to book it and now it has a huge amount of social implication for me; which is defamation against me.

                              Now after having issues with delivery i am left no where to proceed with also the response and customer treatment am getting from garve car mania private limited which is absolutely unduly agonizing and unacceptable.
                              Please do let me know what can be done further in this scenario as i need this car to be delivered as the order was already in place as per dealer communication on[protected]

                              Expecting a positive reply from skoda india private limited.

                              I am attaching here the registration form and booking receipt and all the e-mails screen shot in the word document.

                                Sir,
                                My name is ranjeet lad, and i have purchase the skoda octavia style plus from auto bahn. From last 15 day my left head lamp led light has become fade, so i have send the car to auto bahn itself to replace in warranty as the car is under warranty. 12/11/19 i have left the car at showroom and 13/11/19 morning they calls up and tell that it cant be/ /covered under warranty as the lamp inner part corner is broken, where bolt is fitted. And last time one year back that headlamp was open by auto bahn sewri workshop only to change the bumper and fluid washer tank. When skoda customer care took the workshop in conference the manager said that it is one year back issue how can we check and it can be broken bcoz of jerk or overtighting also, now skoda cant absorb jerk, then whose fault it is or the other over tight it was done at workshop only then whos fault it is???
                                Even today i got customer care call she said that the part was removed one year back so we cant do anything now. Being a customer care they also are in favor with workshop.
                                Even if it is one year if this part was not fitted properly then whose fault it is?? Skoda has given them franchise. Is it like this if they have not done proper work and due to there not fitted properly after one year we found then customer has to bear or what??
                                Presently also when the headlamp is fitted it looks normal so why will anyone open. But we given request to change for led fade which normally cant be.
                                We even told that we will complaint to consumer still no effect on them. I have some clues also regarding this issue and other issue also which can show there mistake.

There is no major repairing work, 4 days lapsed but yet vehicle not received back. No proper communication from service engrs. About vehicle repairing status. I need to contact him & they don't have any care to inform customer. For wheel bolt opening required special spanner not available in service station & they asking...

                                  Your dealer at pratap nagari bhubaneswar i. E. Trinity skoda hold my money since 3 months. I have requested many times to return my money. I had gone to the company on july 2019 to purchase a new skoda rapid style model. Your dealer try to sell 2018 model with discount. But after depositing rd.9, 49, 000/- they offered the same discount available in new vehicle. Hence i did not want to take the vehicle. Vehicle neither been registered in my name nor been delivered to me. Hence i want my money back. Dealer didn't respond. I have already filed a consumer case against the company. This is how the customer being treated by your dealer.

                                    I bought skoda rapid jan 2018. Now after 22months the battery went down. I jumped started it and went to a nearby skoda service center. Where they told that battery needs to be replaced which would cost cost 7.5k. The 4 year car warranty wont cover the battery. Battery has only 1year warranty which has expired. I was forced to pay those charges. After checking with local exide vendor, new battery they are giving for around 5k that too they will discount in exchange of old battery. Giving 3 years of warranty as well. The service center gave only 2 years of warranty that too cost 7.5k.

                                    They are indirectly looting their customers. Skoda should look into this matter and resolve it.

                                      Hi,

                                      I am also facing a same problem, i got my rapid hr51br4685 serviced at the skoda authorised showroom, and 3 weeks later, it started giving starting problem, at night only, when i called up they said battery needs to be changed, it's only 1.5 years, my fabia battery got changed after 72 months, this one in 18 months, i acted as skoda fan b4 and got most of my friends bought this car, but now i am feel the other way round.
