I am facing this issue past 2 years as my skoda superb's instrument cluster LED's are not functioning properly. As time passed each and every led went off. now I am not able to see even at what speed my car is going. When i went to service station they said they will replace the instrument cluster which costs around 70k. This car is just 5 years old and it has this issue. The main thing is that time is not an issue but its just been 1lac kms. i have faced numeral issues in this car such as AC, engine oil going far less than the mark, but i thought it was wear and tear. But in this car the wear and tear is quite more than others. but i don't think this instrument cluster is wear and tear as it is something which should never go off like this. i have owned many cars such as toyota hyundai but never faced any problem like these...why skoda have all the issues? i want this to be replaced in goodwill warranty.

    My vehicle SKODA Superb no. MH 01 AV 4659 is given for repair on 22.10.2016 at JMD Kandivali. Till today, no clue as to what the fault is, ? how can there be such fault ?when will the car be repaired?
    I am verbally informed by JMD that there is some engine problem but they are unable to find fault.
    I have lodged a complaint with you also on 2.11.2016 but no resolution as yet.
    They have no answers as to what the problem is.
    NO analysis or diagnosis report is given for the test conducted. All they are telling us is We will have to replace the engine and pay 7.5 lacs for it.
    They aren't even ready to acknowledge the fact that their engine has failed.
    We are clueless with regards to our further options. Request group members if they can suggest a proper course of action that can be undertaken.

      My vehicle SKODA Superb no. MH 01 AV 4659 is given for repair on 22.10.2016 at JMD Kandivali. Till today, no clue as to what the fault is, ? how can there be such fault ?when will the car be repaired?
      I am verbally informed by JMD that there is some engine problem but they are unable to find fault.

      I have lodged a complaint with you also on 2.11.2016 but no resolution as yet.

      I am without car for so many days and it is affecting my work very badly. I have also requested for stand by vehicle if repair is taking longer time but there is no revert for the same.

      I seek an appropriate solution as to what's gone wrong. It is absolutely unacceptable that a premium car is facing such kind of problems.

      They are not giving us any details regarding what the problem is and how can there be such a problem in their engine but have handed us the bill estimate of 7.5 lacs.

      We are not satisfied as we need answers on how can there be such Engine failure.

      My rear glass has been damaged and the same needs to be replaced at the authorized service center but the same is not being made available since 28.11.2016 in spite of my repeated request.

        I mr. Mohit chauhan, owner of above vehicle, would like to bring to your kind notice that i was purchased the skoda rapid car on june 2012 from c& t motors pvt ltd partapur meerut up.in 200 km i have facing starting problem & very heavy smoke through silencer. To look that i was very much depressed that in new car what this issue.

        So ill start this car & directly go to c& t motors pvt ltd partapur meerut where i was purchased this car. The service manager will came & check the car so i was surprised that there was no coolant in his coolant bottle, i asked the manager when they deliver this car they don’t check it properly? They told me that there is some technical fault in car & due to diesel problem the egr system is failed that’s why the coolant is removed through engine & silencer. Sir i can’t understand the company like skoda have this type of technical problem in his engine

        The manager told me that they was properly check the car but i insist i want my money back because if in 200 km if ill face this type of issue then how can i trust that it will not happen again in future,. After almost one month ill receive a call from their that they told me that my car is ready with proper checkup

        When ill go their they confirm me that my car is change & they give me new car & guaranteed me skoda have resolve this problem in his all new car but now ill understand they tell me a lie… in 3 days before ill face same problem & the mechanic told me that due to diesel the egr system failed. May be this time ill repair my car out side from skoda service station but ill take this case in print media & electronic media & request people to don’t buy skoda car’s because this is my 3 car with same problem company don’t care about that..

        Sir if the company like skoda give fake commitment to customers then who will help us.. Sir even is last 4 years i have not receive any single call from company

        Sir ill request please look into this want my money back.

        A sound coming from roof top and dash board, It was there since i bought the car, the dealer (PINNACLE SKODA), couldnt rectify the error till now, i bought the car on november 6, 2015, its been 1 year, I am not at all satisfied with the after sales service of skoda, I am totally fed up with this company.
        Driver side door rubber is getting worn out within one month. Twice the same was changed but the complaint is continuing. Coolant level is also reducing after certain kilometers run. Service supervisor at Jaipur Skoda was apprised but he did not paid any attention.
        Still waiting for reply on my complain against my car UK08Y9783 SKODA Rapid .. Its in Nawab Motors Noida from 9 feb 2017 ..

          SKODA does it again.
          All 4 Fuel injectors damaged within 75000 kms.
          Upon questioning SKODA, they state, it is because of servicing not effected with authorised SKODA dearlers. It is a sheer blackmail from SKODA to service with their service centres, who charge a huge hefty sum, whereas, reputed garages / auto service centres do it for 50% less amount.

          Then, they claim, 50% discount is offered, towards goodwill.
          It is a big big scam in India, wherein, the faulty engines and injectors are attached, as, the consumer societies in India are not strong enough to question these big companies.

          Did receive a call from SKODA CRM.

          - Ms. Amruta was kind to offer 50% discount on the fuel injectors. Same was offered by Mr. Hoosein on 1/12/2016.
          - As per SKODA contention, because, the vehicle was not serviced (3rd service) in Authorised service centre of SKODA, is the possible cause of all 4 fuel injectors getting damaged.
          - She stated, that, it is recommended, that, all services are done at SKODA service centres.
          - Upon being questioned, if, the fuel injectors got damaged, even after, the 3rd service was rendered at SKODA, what would have been the status of our complain. She claimed, it would have been the same.
          - It is implied, whether, the service is undertaken at SKODA or non SKODA, fuel injectors replacement would have the same decision, as, it is now.
          - Hence, she claims, that’s the last decision, SKODA can take.
          - We have requested the vehicle to remain with SKODA service centre.
          - We shall either take further necessary action (legally, if need be) with all the forums or let go of the vehicle, as, the loss would be only 1.75 Lac rupees (without payment of Rs. 1.25 Lacs for repairs and servicing) – taking into account, the resale value being around Rs. 3 Lacs.
          - We do hope, that, SKODA offers a good hear to the customers and accept, that, faulty engines / fuel injectors have been reported across India and outside and by acting responsibly for complete replacement without costs, they could only win, more customers and not lose the present ones.

          It is apparent, that, the SKODA threads – have plenty of complains for the fuel injectors – right from day 1 of purchase also.
          We have chosen SKODA over other tried and tested models in the Indian car space.
          We do hope, that, the said sentiment is honoured by SKODA and uplifted for future.

          Dear Mr. Akhlaq,

          From today, we shall be informing your goodselves, on a daily basis, around 11 am, about the status of our complain with SKODA Super management.

          1st Day : No call from either SKODA or Authobahn management / status quo maintained.

          FYI : We have received the Invoice for repairs and service at Rs. 65, 000 from authobahn, which is exclusive of the 4 Fuel injectors to be replaced. (WOW all 4 fuel injectors damaged in 4.5 years / 75000 kms, in a city, like Mumbai)

          In the unfolding of events, Mr. Hoosein and Autobahn Jogeshwari, are now willing to release the vehicle immediately (without replacement of fuel injectors), which was not been released since last 18 days, stating, that, the vehicle engine might get further damaged and it is dangerous to run the vehicle in such condition.
          Today, they, feel otherwise.

          Dear Mr. Akhlaq,

          The idea of putting mail to the senior most management in SKODA, is, to find a perfect solution at the earliest.
          If, we had to speak to so many personnel, we could have done so, in the last 17 days, the vehicle is parked at Autobahn.
          It is disheartening, to note, that, even, after advising, that, none of SKODA senior management was willing to discuss till yesterday,
          Your goodselves, are advising us to talk to their CRM’s.
          They have put forward their solution, which is, unacceptable, due, to, reasons mentioned below.

          In the last 2 services and 1 repair undertaken, Autobahn have not checked the Fuel injectors, although, there has been an SKODA advisory, for checking the fuel injectors for all TD engine vehicles.

          We have paid the following amounts towards Servicing of the vehicle :-
          04/2/2014 : Rs. 25, 374 (Out of which, Rs. 9750 is towards Labour)
          21/1/2015 : Rs. 11, 017

          We hope, to receive your earliest solution.

          Re : Vehicle No. MH 02 N 8070 – 2012 model
          Servicing at Autobahn, Jogeshwari (WEST), Mumbai

          W.r.t to the said vehicle, we are putting forward the case to your goodselves, inorder, get a good decision.
          - On 15/11/2016, we offered the said vehicle for servicing at the subject service centre. Informed them of engine tuning and some noise.
          - On 17/11/2016, Mr. Hoosein informs of 2 Fuel Injectors being damaged and offered a quotation of Rs. 1.5 Lac as repair costs.
          - We requested them, to recheck and advise.
          - On 18/11/2016, they advised, that, as per their readings, all 4 fuel injectors are damaged.
          - On 19/11/2016, they advised, that, new readings are being taken with replacement of fuel injectors to check, if all 4 need to be replaced.
          - For full week, no news
          - On 25/11/2016, they advised, that, all 4 fuel injectors need to be replaced and they shall get discount.
          - On 28/11/2016, they state, that, as, the vehicle is out of warranty, nothing can be done for the replacement and total cost has to be paid.
          - On 28/11/2016, they advise, that, from their side, they are trying for a discount. It can be anywhere from 50% to 70%.
          - For full week, no news – although, tried to check, who was the senior at the service centre, but, nobody came forward
          - On 1/12/2016, upon our voice being increased, Mr. Sankit comes on line to narrate the full story again. Promised to help immediately.
          - On 2/12/2016, they are offering a discount of 50%.
          - Total cost of repairs and maintenance, for a 4 year old vehicle is Rs. 1, 00, 000.

          - Our contention,
           How can all 4 fuel injectors be damaged.
           Have checked. It seems, that, TD engines of SKODA, Volkswagen have an issue. Many new vehicles have also been affected. IT is a very known, fact, that, the fuel injector issues are coming up.
           For same, SKODA has put forward a service advisory to all dealers, inorder, to tweak some software.
           The said fuel injector issue is prevalent, not only in, India, but, in other parts of the world also.
           In many cases, the fuel injectors are being replaced by vehicle manufacturers – on company costs, as, it is a defect in the vehicle.
           Why 50% is being offered as a discount. Is the balance 50% - not the onus of the company, as, fuel injectors donot get damaged easily.
           Why are Authobahn peronnel not willing to hand over the vehicle for usage and no senior willing to talk to customers.

          The reputation of SKODA for repairs and maintenance has been an issue.

          We do hope, that, a good view of the situation is taken by your goodselves and fuel injectors are replaced, without any costs, as, it has been a issue with TD engines.
          For your information, there are other wear and tear costs to the tune of Rs. 50000, which, we are not disputing.

          With a amount of Rs. 50000 being spent on the fuel injectors after 4 years, shall always move customers toward other brands with a big complain in their minds.
          Replacement of the fuel injectors is a common issue in the said vehicles and SKODA have to replace immediately, inorder, the customers have continuous faith in the brand.

          Awaiting your immediate and favourable reply.

          PS : Till date, not a single senior personnel from Autobahn have had the courtesy to discuss with customers, for, a vehicle being parked in their service centre since last 17 days. Feel, the dealers have dwarfed the repute of SKODA.

            Hi,

            My father Mr. Bajendrababu V owns a Skoda Rapid and the Registration number of the car is TN 22 CT 6066.
            The key is broken from the attached remote and is creating various problems. The car is having problems in starting and it stops suddenly in middle of the road. We are having huge difficulty in using the car with the broken key and have taken the car to gurudev motors service centre in chennai for fixing the key problem.

            But unfortunately the service centre people are saying it will take minimum 15 days to get the Keys replaced as it need to come from Czechoslovakia - outside india. Until then we will not be able to use the car. We have explained them it is difficult to wait for 15 days without the car as it affects daily routine and work. But they have refused to provide any solution and asking us to wait until key comes from Czechoslovakia.

            We need your kind intervention
            1. to get the keys in 2-3 days or
            2. provide us with alternate solution to manage the key problem until we get the key replaced or
            3. Alternate car for our use until we get the key replaced.

            We have also paid Rs. 9200 towards key replacement and the bill is attached.

            Kindly help to solve the problem.

              I am thoroughly disappointed with the sales and after sales people in the company, before buying the vehicle 24*7 they kept calling us and running behind, but as now their job is done and looks like ours have started. Just to let you know its been 2 months I've bought a skoda rapid style plus high end model and thousands of times I've been asking for my documents but none of them are bothered to respond to my query inspite of continuously calling them they are least bothered to send the docs or even respond to our calls. Even before this for my car RTO registration I had to run behind them and finally almost after 1.5 month i got the information that i can go to RTO for registration. I need the docs urgently as i have bought a loan of Rs.10, 00, 000 and still the docs are remaining to be submitted in the bank and also m travelling out of station after 2 days and need the docs urgently, inspite of calling them like more then 20times today they dint bother to send docs nor receive the calls. This is super disappointing i need an answer to this that why no problem occurs to them when they come to sell the car, there they are even ready to give test drive at 11pm.
              Please look into this and take some action. Need the docs within two days. True harassment this is.

                I buy a skoda rapid elegance 1.6 mpi at bp on[protected] through singh motorcars pvt ltd patna. the showroom and service centre in patna has been closed. right now there is no any dealers in patna.

                question is that why i will move to other state for service and insurance claim. kindly arrange service or take back your car and return my money. othewise i will move to consumer forum.

                  I am extremely disappointed on your after sales service because, I have given my car for repair on oct 31, When I asked the dealer for alternate car the dealer assured me that the car will be repaired within 15 days and there won't be requirement for alternate car.

                  But as of today its been 18 days.So today when I enquired about the delivery of my car.They are simply saying that it could take another month to get the car repaired.This is not how skoda should treat their customer.

                  I only agreed to get the car repaired at the said dealer because they assured me that car would be repaired within 15 Days at max.

                  Also please note that all the insurance formalities are done and claim amount is released.

                  Its a clear case of cheating because as and when the insurance claim amount has been released the dealer simply said that they cannot deliver the car within 15 DAYS it takes atleast an additional month.Then why should they assure me in the first place that the car would be delivered in 15 DAYS.

                  Kindly escalate this issue to the highest authority.And give me a reason why they planned to CHEAT me.

                  There is no reply for the mails I have sent to Skoda customer care emai.

                  This is not one would expect after agreeing to pay high service costs.

                    Hi ths is anudeep from hyd, my vechile number(AP36AU0005).I have given my fabia as of break down, they have said the problem is of timing belt nd need to replace the same. They have taken almost a weekdays nd delivered the vechile. Now there is lot of engine sound which was not before. I have called to sevice center(sanath nagar, hyd) they are now saying that there might be another problem once bring the car.I have taken the car to service center, they are now saying that there is a problem with the coolent set nd we shud replace it(cost 28000). I have paid the bill nd brought my car nd before bill(timing belt was 25000).Again there is problem now my car is not getting started.My total car was damaged by the service center nd getting a lot of repair which was not there before giving in service center at sanath nagar.                       I own a Skoda Rapid purchased from Singh Motors in Year 2014 at Patna. When I approached service center for my 2nd year service of I came to know that they have closed their shop and service center. I approached your service representative @ toll free number he suggested to visit Jamshedpur or Kolkata Dealership for Service. When inquired about who will the bear the cost of taking my car to Jamshedpur for service and coming back, he advised me to speak to Service person at Jamshedpur who will help me in this regard. He shared a contact no of Service person Ms. Sandya Sinha of Imperial Auto, Jamshedpur which was not reachable again I contacted them this time they gave me the no of Mr. Sudeep Sinha, Service Manager at Imperial Auto.

                      I contacted Mr. Sudeep sinha to explain my concern, he agreed for servicing of car for showed his inability to bear the cost involved in taking the car to Jamshedpur from Patna and back.

                      If the dealership at Patna is closed, why the customers at Patna should suffer, the company should arrange for hassle free service of purchased cars at Patna. You are requested to arrange for Servicing of my car at the earliest and bear the cost involved in taking my car to Jamshedpur from Patna and back.

                        Being met with an accident and parked at Skoda, we blindly believe the fame of this brand but guess what... I get charged 350/day for parking and 2% of total repair charges as the vehicle went for total loss ( which SKoda Auto representative declined as per rules ) and my vehicle's monogram is stolen, my vehicle doesnt start anymore ( which used to when I left ) and Skoda is least bothered about its customer now. When started yelling at the skoda Manager ( Ram ) all he responds is.. I'm not responsible for this issue and disconnects the call.

                        Well things have not been sorted yet and your Skoda representative ( Surender and Ankita ) havent followed up this case for more than 3 days now, I wish to inform you that I would take things in a legal manner ( FIR, Customer court and social media ) with due support of owners who face similar issues with Skoda. I don’t wish to continue forward with such service and poor quality in service ( have 3 other Skodas in my family )

                          subject -about my advance back of booking skoda rapid & the reason

                          i have paid advance for skoda rapid (carbon steel) rs 20000 on 25-9-16, as my father is a bank manager loan process has been started on 28-9-16
                          it takes nearly 15to 20 days of time toapprove the loan, , as we told before paying advance the time and the duration, and MR suresh
                          the excutive said ok that he will keep aside the car that we have booked ...
                          so the day of 23-10-16 i got a call from suresh that (sir carbon steel is not avaible, the reason company has stopped that colour )

                          he said on nov 2nd week that i have kept your car aside when ever you come you can take away...

                          so i have spoke to the manager he said simple answer (who comes 1st we will give car to them) wont bother about the customer
                          who have paid advance

                          so for two days i comparised to white colour because excutive has said me only white and capp being colour is avaible
                          we got the loan apporval the we have fixed the date to take delivary

                          on 28 -10-16 again i got a call from excutive that (only capp being colour is avaible )
                          on the next day i have put an email to hr related to skoda mumbhai...

                          they spoke with the excutive and i got a call from excutive that with a better offer you can take capp being colour
                          or else you can wait till 2017 rapid is going to be released you can go to that with a better offer

                          2016 skoda rapid i got a price for 10, 32000

                          now the 2017 rapid id 11, 40000 (nearly 1 lakh loss for me)

                          today morning i got a call from excutive sir there are no offers for 2017 skoda rapid you must buy for rs 11, 40000
                          so my option there are no ptions for me (only taking the advance back)
                          IS THIS THE WAY THE MANAGMENT AND SKODA TEAM ARE RESPONDING
                          SO I NEED A ANSWER AND A SOLUTION FROM A RIGHT PERSON

                            Hi,
                            I met an accident on Sep 8th 2016 and had given my skoda Rapid to the Marikar skoda Trivandrum showroom on Sep 9th 2016. Since the Insurance process is initiated and the surveyor had checked the vehicle and requested the service manager to Order the parts. he had ensured to give an advance amount as early as possible since the service centre folks had asked for 15 days to deliver the parts.
                            Now, today on October 24th, I had requested an update on my Vehicle repair status and the service guys had replied that they haven't ordered the parts till today. They are asking for 20 more days to get the parts and to work on.

                            Realy pathetic on the after sales service of Marikar skoda and no caring is given to the car and there is no value for the customers. Even if the 13 lakhs car is with them and the insurance amount will be credited within 2 days, they are not willing to order the parts. I had requested them to order the parts while i shall give them an advance of 10000 as a security, but they don't have a trust on customer since they stand and argue for an advance of higher amount which is to be delivered from the Insurance company.

                            is this the way they are treating a customer? I have never seen a Showroom like this treating the customers as fools. Kindly requesting a solution on my concern.
                            I beg everyone not to buy any vehicle from Marikar skoda since the welcoming face won't be there after you buy it from them. I had spent all my money for this car and still running behind the showroom for each and every small things due to the inefficiency of people within the service center.

                            Hereby attaching the estimate given by Marikar skoda for more clarity.

                              A sound was noted after 60000km service of SCODA RAPID vehicle by your dealer Marakar Motors in Trivandrum, Kerala. The same was reported to your service dealer. It was informed that it is because of Steering Rack Sound and it is a manufacture mechanism failure.
                              Although all reputed companies will rectify the manufacturing defects without any difficulty your dealer did not responded positively. As it may tarnish the reputation of your company if the matter is reported to other circles I hope that you will intervene and rectify the same at the earliest . Details of main office for reporting manufacture complaint may also be forwarded to bring the attention to manufacture.

                                To whom so ever it may concern
                                I bought a new skoda octavia and I took it for inspection after 7500kms the very first service at krishna auto sales in Chandigarh I asked the advisor for certain jobs to be done but failing in all and spoiling my cars seat with a chemical which took off the leather from the seat there was a stain which I asked the advisor to remove so the employee working rubbed it with the chemical which took off the leather then I approached the manager of service he was apologising .i jotted down a complaint and forwarded to the customer care after that they took my car from my residence for the whole day and did nothing they also spoiled the paint on the bonet and bumper which was to be removed by rubbing but my question is if the lower bumper was to b painted which cud be done from a normal touching also why did they paint and y ain't the body of the brand new car wasnt covered lack o[censored]ndiscipline and Unprofessionalism from the manager .and in revert what I have to hear is that sir you forwarded an email now it will be done over the email only so u. Ab please leave and take your car everything is on records over the camera .i strongly appeal that it should be taken care off and the seat spoiled my the engineers working in workshop should either be replaced aur get it sorted the manager promising that sir we have a leather polish which will help us to get back the colour of the seat but still my complaint is unsolved such irrelevant behaviour of the staff .thanks
                                Kindly look at the complaint and hoping to get a fair resolution .

                                  We had given our car MH-31-EA684 for routine service on 6th October 2016.
                                  We regret to say the following:
                                  1. The floor supervisor informed us on phone spelling out number of repairs to be carried out, we asked him to list out the repairs in writing including applicable cost so that we can arrange to carry out the repairs, the request was not complied. We feel that the said supervisor was telling all the things to make money for company for unwanted repairs.

We regret to say that the skoda Service station at Nagpur insist on owner or owner's representative not to witness repairs and specialy replacement of oils, we have feeling that the said dealer or his representatives may have a intention to cheat the car owner!

                                    Car breakdown within 3days from the purchase and showroom aren't supporting.
                                    Through road side assistance car is taken to JMD service centre they are saying 2 more working day to solve the problem . New brand skoda Octavia style plus faces problem within 3 days
                                    And on the top showroom is like we are from sales and so on

                                      I am fatima, i have given my skoda fabia car having reg number KL01 AT 3470 for replacement of timing belt & V belt on 12/10/2016 and they have told the expected delivery date as 12/10/2016 6.00 pm . But as on today 20/10/2016 the vehicle has not been delivered. i have given the vehicle for replacing the timing belt and v belt after importing the the above said parts from skoda company. i use to call the service adviser for enquiring about the delivery of vehicle and he will tell next day will deliver the vehicle and also he will tell that
                                      he will update status of work and delivery time but nothing happened till now. Today 21/10/16 i talked to service manager regarding the non delivery of vehicle since 10 days after given for service and he has told that the vehicle will be delivered on monday ( 24/10/16) only . I doubt that
                                      the service center do not have experienced person to complete the work.
                                      Till before this incident i was proud to be a skoda vehicle owner .

                                        My skoda Ralid car was bought from Rg`s auto. DSa - Haren and thru senator in april 2015 at the time of buying had paid Rs. 17721.00 for extended warranty. However skoda dealer shut skoda service in mumbai and now when i need the extended warranty beyond 2 years neither skoda India not skoda dealers autobahn or jmd ready to help.
                                        Since senator is already closed as a skoda dealer neither are they traceable nor reverting. Have written several emails to customer support skoda India and mukul - AM refuses to reply or revert .

                                        Skoda india has to extend my warranty or arrange to refund the money as the dealer shut shop suddenly without any information to me.
                                        Inspite of several reminders customer skoda india refuses to revert and help.
