Hinge on my Skullcandy crusher wireless broke recently, I asked customer care to replace it and charge the appropriate amount.
They say that this is not in our policy to repair the headset and they replace it only if it is under warranty. I let them know that this is your Premium headset and it's not justified if you just say that if the hinge is broken, you need to throw away your headset.
I have also asked them if they have any out of warranty options like Amazon provides with their products, but there wasn't any option but to throw the product away.
I just hope to get the hinge can be replaced - which costs less than 500 rupees, cuz it's made of plastic and easily breaks.
And for any new Skullcandy premium headset buyers, once your headset is out of warranty, the customer service behaves as it isn't a Skullcandy product anymore. They just send you automated warranty info emails.
