It’s very regretful that today I needed to write this email to you. I am snapdeal customer since time when it was not even a known to many and was just giving deal/discount coupons. Since then very few occasions came where I had to face this much frustration and disappointed from your service and treatment. I am also do shopping using Amazon on regular basis (Flip-cart has already been out from my list as their service is not as good as yours).
Now coming to specific, I had made purchase of Lincoln High Back Office Chair (Order#[protected]) on 6th Oct as part of amazing Diwali 20% discount on Citi bank debit/credit card offered by Snapdeal.
Since I had already exhausted my Citi bank card quota, I had taken help from one of my friend (who was holding Citi bank card but was not interested in SnapDeal purchasing) to make payment for this order. This required effort and time from my side but still I put in as I needed this chair for my home office.
Snapdeal charged ~900/- as delivery charges for this order and given me expected date of delivery 23rd Oct. This was little unusual as normally Snap deal deliver items in 2-3 days (or max) but I still excepted this delivery duration of 4 weeks.
Since I was travelling to USA from 17th Oct till 25th Oct, I proactively followed up with Snapdeal customer care few times between 12th Oct to 17th Oct if delivery of this product can be expedite and they assure me to expedite time of delivery and get it delivered before 17th Oct. I trusted you guys and patiently waited to have order delivered but it didn't happen. I still excepted.
Then on return from USA, I called customer care again multiple time (wasted so much time in waiting queue ) and complained them about delay in product delivery. Every time I was told that issue is escalated and within 24 hours I will issue resolved and product deliver. I was also assured that someone from Snapdeal would call me and update. But it never happened.
On 3rd of Nov, I saw order status update saying, its closed which surprised me and I called customer care where I got to know that seller is not able to ship item so order is closed and Snapdeal would find this product from different seller and try to deliver in 72 hours. Otherwise Payment amount would be refunded. I clearly told customer care executive that I don't want money refunded and please get product deliver to me as I am waiting for it since last 1 month.
Customer care suggested that they would try best to get product deliver and at the same time, given me this email Id to send you an complain email. To my surprise again, just 15 mins after my conversation to customer care on 3rd Nov, I got SMS saying, product would not be delivered and amount would be refunded in 3 working days.
I was so much angry, frustrated and wanted to write this email to you but could not get any time from office work. Since then I was thinking on every day to reach out to you officer to understand disappointment and pain I went through and help me. In parallel I was checking with my friend if he has got amount refunded to his account and till now it does not look like amount is credited. Status of order says that amount has been refunded on 3rd Nov but I don’t know where it is. It’s very embarrassing for me to ask more from my friend or ask him proof of bank account statement.
SO right now, my situation is, I waited for 1+ months for product delivery, spent so much time on calling customer care and asking to deliver product but in return I got disappointment, false promises, unprofessional behavior and one sided attitude where instead of caring for customer, Snapdeal decided to cancel my order and initiated refund which not yet came. So I lost my money and even might last faith in Snapdeal as well.
Money is not important for me but great customer experience means a lot for me and I am giving a chance to Snapdeal to earn back customer trust by delivering me Product immediately. Please call me
I would expect a prompt and positive response from your side and bit of cutesy to speak to me. Please help me to understand what help you can offer me here.
