I ordered Dreamfit Homegym on 2nd Oct worth Rs. 1225/- in the promotional campaign of snapdeal, The order got dispatched on 5th Oct and after that the scheduled delivery date of the same was by 13th Oct. I didnt received it by than, so i drafted a mail to [protected]@snapdeal.com as well as raised a point in my orders sectrion of the app.
I received a mail after 2 Business Days, that the issue is being looked upon and snapdeal will get back to me at the earliest (the courier was at Chandu location). Again i followed up with snapdeal, i got no resonse. After 1 or 2 days i again dropped a mail asking them about the status but was again met by the same fate. The date was revised again to 15th - 19th oct.
I tried calling on the standard snapdeal #, but there was no option of speaking to the Customer care associates on the IVR, a update was received on the vulcan surface courier part that the courier has reached Bhiwandi, which is hours apart from Mumbai. I was relieved as i knew i will be getting the product in 2-3 days max (17th oct).
The date this time was changed to 21oct - 25th oct, i was confident by then as it was in Bhiwandi and thought it will take more or less 2-3 days more. I called customer care on 22 night 11:30 PM, they assured me the product will be received that day only, although i didnot believed him but thought whats the harm, i repeatedly asked him on what should i do if i didnot receive the product in next 24 hours, he said you will 100% get the product and was reluctant to share the escalation path.
Next day i again called as i did not receive it in 24 hours and had a conversation with a guy Deepak Bhagat, he assured me i will get sure shot response from snapdeal in 48 hours (10/27/2016) either via phone/ message/ e-mail, again i asked him the same question what if i did not receive any communication from you guys in the next 48 hours, he said call on the customer care and ask them for his name and they shall transfer the call to him (i knew nothing such existed but for the sake of foolment i accepted that). Luckily the phone got disconnected and i tried customer care again and asked for him, the associate said there is nothing like this on our side and i agreed that Deepak Bhagat has made a fool out of me, the new guy said you will definitely as gain promised will get an response from snapdeal in next 48 hours, but that didnt happen again, although both of them claimed that will personally followup on the issue.
Since i did not received any call from snapdeal, i called again yesterday night and to my notice i was told the order has been cancelled and that too without notifying me. I wanted to know the reason for this, i also wanted to know the escalation matrix for the same, and a very important message was conveyed to me by your customer care, that you are never going to get any resolution from snapdeal regarding this, you can talk with our seniors and all but you are never going to get any resolution regarding this.
I wanted the product really hard and hence was patient and was continuously following up from my side, snapdeal though never cared on this. I still want that product and can see available on the snapdeal portal but is not at discounted rates as what i had promised.
Can you all please take a look at this and get back to me at a time convenient to you all.

Updated by Aniruddha Panse I ordered a product on 2nd october and didn't receive it till today, i repeatedly called customer care and asked for the resolution, they always promised me a call back in a day or two but never really received it. Snapdeal just kept making me fool over and over again, a simple strategy for them existed we will get back to you in 48 hrs. Today since 48hrs got over i called them once again and asked them and they said the order has been returned, delivery attemp was never made for this and suddenly they cancelled the order, strict actions should be taking over with these sellers, amazon offers best customer service and satisfaction. Snapdeal is not making the indian e commerce any good, on the other end it is making it look much smaller

1) How come Snapdeal/Seller could not stop the item from travelling from Ahmedabad to far corner of Assam given that I cancelled on 16th? Even if the item was dispatched on the 16th, at best the item was taken by FedEx from the seller to FedEx depot in Ahmedabad.
2) The delivery process is all tracked. How complicated it is to have messaging system where the courier is instructed not to deliver the item instead be returned to seller? Snapdeal has such a sophisticated automated phone services for customer services but cannot have such simple process in place?
3) I bought the item from Snapdeal. So my contract is with Snapdeal to deliver me the TV in return for the money I paid, neither with seller or courier service. Snapdeal, seller and courier all three are the family. On the 16th when I cancelled my order the TV was still with/under Snapdeal so why did Snapdeal not refund my Money then or until yesterday? What is the logic of holding my money? After all who does Snapdeal subcontracts its dirty laundry out to is none of my business or I care.
4) I decided to accept the item because I was repeatedly assured the item wont be defective and if that happens we will give full refund along with all collection.
5) What do the snapdeal do with such sellers who persistently are dishonest? Its a clear case of this deliberate attempt to commit fraud. The seller is sending the same stock to different buyers within a space of 2 weeks.
This is atrocious. This is my second attempt to buy a TV online and on both occasions I was delivered broken TV. Modi can demonetise but cant make people honest, it seems like these sellers wake up every morning thinking "who do we [censored] today"!
Snapdeal, please get this item collected and give me my money back. The courier told that they would collect the item to send back if Snapdeal instructs them.
Hoping a quick resolution.
