On 11 october, 2016, i had purchased 5 sarees worth rs 1499 from snapdeal... This cod order (Order id: [protected]) has to be delivered to gonda... And on 16 october, 2016, my old parents in gonda received the order after paying the cod amount...
After opening the packet, they found that there is one single suit piece worth rs 526 or something along with two bills... One bill is of 5 sarees that we haven't received and the other was of that suit that has to delivered to some different location (According to that bill)...
So, i filed a replacement request with snapdeal... And i got a mail from them saying "your item cannot be picked up as as your address lies outside their serviceable area for reverse pickup. Please send it to our warehouse via any national courier. We will reimburse the courier charges to your freecharge account.
So, we couriered the original snapdeal packet (From dtdc) along with suit piece and both the bills to their given address. We have paid rs 165 more as the courier charges... And we have also uploaded the courier receipt on their website as was asked by them...
On 20th october 2016, snapdeal messaged me that"we received your returned item but your item did not meet our quality check criteria, we are unable to generate replacement for it. Your replacement request has now been closed. We will ship back your item to your original delivery address within next 48 hours. Once we ship it, you will receive an email with the awb tracking number and courier details."
So, same day, again i generate a complain (Reference no.[protected] with them regarding this fraud... Their customer executive told me that this is rejected since they haven't received the courier receipt... So, she asked me to mail that receipt again, which i did...
Everyday, i called their customer care regarding this complaint and every time they assured us that this matter was forwarded to their seniors and very soon, we will have our refund...
But yesterday, when i called their customer care regarding this issue, they strictly denied to give our refund saying that we are lying. And if we want the refund then we have to mail the images of invoice of that suit piece along with both the bills to them... Which is not possible for us because we have already couriered them both the bills along with suit piece to them... This they had to ask it before that reverse courier...
