Below is the original complaint posted on 27th August and the issue is still pending.

I had one of the worst experiences with Snapdeal. I have been a regular online shopper and have never faced such abrupt, unprofessional, and unethical behavior by any other e-commerce websites.

On 10th August I received an email from Sapdeal saying that my Order#[protected] has been cancelled and my account is being closed due to some transactions which do not pass their Internal check. ALso, Please note that all other open orders and refund claims on this account have also now been cancelled.Now how abrupt is that. I was not involved in any kind of dispute with Snapdeal and have very much adhered to their 7 days widely proclaimed EASY RETURN policy(which I highly doubt now) to return any product. So I fail to understand on what basis such a decision was taken. Shouldn't the customer be told about the rationale transparently??

For privacy reasons I don't want to mention my email id or other particulars on this forum. However, using the above mentioned order ID my details can be found.

Additionally- regarding one more order#[protected] (Tryfa White Crepe Jumpsuits), the product was picked up by Snapdeal from my home after multiple followups from the day return request was placed. Now again they are creating same hassles for me to refund the amount for this product as well.

This is such a fraud by a company. They have picked up my product and now gulping up my money too. I want my money to be refunded by Snapdeal immediately. This is causing me so many hassles and wasting my time.

#I would never advise any one to shop with them. They don't even follow the policies which are listed on their website and operate in a very monotonous way. I am really fed up following up with them.

I expect a refund of INR 1200 for order#[protected] (Tryfa White Crepe Jumpsuits) immediately. I am pretty keen on getting my money back. YOU HAVE PICKED UP THE PRODUCT AND BLOCKING MY MONEY TOO. PLEASE REFUND MY MONEY IMMEDIATELY TO AVOID FURTHER DAMAGE TO YOUR STANDING.

    I ordered for a geyser on 02.10.16 and paid in advance. The order ID is [protected]. I was assured of its delivery within 17.10.16. Today it is 18.10.16, the delivery is yet to be made. Matter needs urgent investigation. If not delivered within 20.10.16, I shall be compelled to make it public and Snapdeal will surely face the consequences.

            I recently ordered prestige glass cooktop order id [protected] and the glass quality was not satisfactory when compared to other prestige products and butterfly glass tops. The quality of the particular model was not good...And also the dimensions description was also wrong.So i initiated a return...there was no option with QUALITY ISSUES so chose its not genuine which is similar to quality field...then snapdeal declined my request...If a customer is not happy with the quality, he has the right to return it?

            We have a prestige GTM 04 SS a few days ago the glass got cracked and our maid got injured it had only been 8 months since we got it and the warranty was for 2 yrs. When we complained about it in the company they said they will replace it they did not send any one for a few days and when we called them back they said that it does not come under the warranty and so they won't do anything" and "Prestige Glass Top exploded
            This morning 17 Sep 2016, my Prestige GT- 03L gas stove malfunctioned and the glass on the top of the stove exploded causing glass particles to spray all around. It has been a little over a year since I bought this stove. When I called up the customer care, they bluntly rejected any warranty claims on the product saying, the glass isn't covered under warranty.

            Glass tops are dangerous. Please do NOT buy them. Prestige assumes that people might break the glass during transportation or by misuse. What they refuse to see is that, there is a defect deep down in their product. But hey, this is India! So I guess it's alright if a few hundreds die because of some defective product. Corporates can manage to get away with any kind of crime, as long as they can find the right politician to bribe and get away with anything.

            To all those 'average, tax-paying' individuals like me... stay away from glass tops. Should anything really bad happen, make sure you have a good medical insurance covering you."

            Thanks for your reply but no one reached me out on this concern for the past three days...just received a rude mail...your ordered could not be returned...take the necessary actions cause my mother is very afraid about the glasstop and quality of the particular model is not good...i am returning because of the quality concern...and also change your return UI bcoz there was no "QUALITY ISSUES" so i chose "not genuine" in the sense it is related to quality

            today i got a rude call from snapdeal customer care lady number: [protected].she said refund wont be provided... i said i have "QUALITY ISSUES" but she said as bottom line "WE WONT GIVE REFUND"...very rude of snapdeal and their customer care... I want to say something to snapdeal team with this attitude towards quality issues and bad customer care approach...you wont survive in the market

I am calling from 8th October 2016 but they have different answer every time some says it is wrongly delivered to wrong address, some says it is delivered to me.                           I checked the details post placing the order that the product details on the site are incorrect. Here are the discrepancies
                          1. The title says its 80 cm in width, while description says its 60 cm

                          I cancelled the order on 7th October that is before it was delivered. As per Snapdeal site, I was supposed to get the refund by 13th October, however I haven't received this refund yet. Because of their delay this will incur interest on my credit card. I checked with their customer support and they are saying that this is going to take another 4 working days. Its already 18th today.

                          followed up with Snapdeal folks again. They dont have any clue on the status of my refund. They are stating that I wait for another 24 hours. I dont even know if my refund has been initiated. This amount is reflecting against my credit card and will incur interest. Will snapdeal pay for that?

                              Quality check team declined and close this case. It's very basic check whether ordered one and delivered one same or not. Surprised.
                              Note as per earlier screenshot the courier pick up acknowledged guy gives a clear bill stated product delivered was era 4g.

                              As I spoken with your representative Mr Tiwari yday, I came to know that quality check team declined due to "product is used old one and on dirty condition". Really surprised, they don't speak about the wrong product first. And please check with your courier partner "shadow fax" guy who picked up the product he checked thoroughly the bills, boxes, the mobile and the spares gives the acknowledgment ordered one was XOLO ERA X but received one was XOLO ERA 4 G.

                              Please note: product we received and returned was a new product only but XOLO ERA 4 G.

                              Have this concern checked ever with the seller so far. lava international HYD.

                              Don't always think customers who tried to replace or return the product are always wrong.

                              Earning the Trust is very hard and take long years. Getting the Bad name very easily.

                              Iam an IT Technology Consultant from Hp and previous IBM employee. I believe and register the word in my mind "Trust on every relationship" which is the value of one of my company. So I don't want to hide or steal anything.

                              Hope you understand.

                              Why you people again send back the same product find the attached screenshot. A very big online stealing company. Much thanks for your kindness. Am going to send across a mail to my whole company employees (around 150000 in India) regarding the same and not to purchase anything from your snap steal company.

                              Mr Kunal plz go with consumer complaints forum website once and check daily minimum some 50 to 100 complaints raised against your snap steal company. Very All the best for your futures.

                              SPL thanks to those senior people's who sitting on your quality check team. Real quality not even knows the product difference.

                                I have purchased the product from snapdeal and no where mention that it is not returnable. After delivered i want to return the product but not able to do so as there is no return option only replace option is there. I want to return the product and want my money back.                                   Snapdeal did advertise a lot about their sale from 2nd to 6th october, and during this sale I purchased a product from snapdeal

                                  The approximate delivery time given by snapdeal is 15-17th october, 2016 thus the last date for them to deliver it was yesterday and yet they have not even shipped the product, Snapdeal helplines[protected] is a loop where the helpline is useless and no real help.

                                  Snapdeal is no longer the premium online sales site, it is a very very very light shadow of its former self.

                                  I want Snapdeal to deliver the product ASAP as per the "contract"

                                  The worse part is that they are not even shipping the products that the customers paid for earlier, but are blatant enough to announce Diwali sale.

                                  I request the consumer watchdogs to keep an eye on snapdeal
                                  At least the way they are acting is really strange, offering products at good prices to get attention, getting customers to buy it and then not shipping it

                                  I think its high time that some action is taken against online shopping giants trying to take the consumers for granted

                                    I have bought a LG semi autometic washing machine from snapdeal portal.
                                    i was received that delivery in next two days.
                                    but the product was washing machine was dirty and damage from a part.

                                      I have ordered for two t-shirts online on snapdeal. Order no. [protected] with the layment mode of cod. When i got courier i made payment for both t shirts as par label on the pack . On opening i got only one blue t shirt. The green t shirt was missing. I complained on their customer care many times.
