[Resolved] Snapdeal.com — Defective micromax mobile (q385) delivered and refusal to repay | |||||
Dear sir/madam, I have booked a mobile - micromax canvas 385, order id [protected] for my personal use and the same was delivered to me on 20 apr 2016, on payment of rupees 4, 999/- to your company representatives. While the mobile was put into use by me i found that the out going messages were not sent and the gallery application was not working properly. The defects were brought to the notice of your company on 25 apr 2016. A technician on your behalf visited my house, inspected the mobile and found that the defects mentioned by me were persisting and the defects were not rectified by him. He had given a certificate of inspection to the above effect and a copy of which is with me. As such i had requested you to refund the money pay by me as the earliest. You have neither refunded the amount nor have taken a appropriate steps in this regard. Your costumer service section when contacted by me is insisting to approach to micromax company for further actions/refund. The order was booked with you, the money was paid to your representative on the guarantee that the mobile booked is good and is in running condition. It is your responsibility to refund the money when the product delivered to me is found defective, especially when your own representative has certified to that effect. I have no locus standi with micromax. Hence, i request you to refund rupees 4999/- within 48 hours lest, i am constrained to approach to appropriate authorities or media for recovery of the same.
