I work in GST office at Durgapur and travel regularly from Kolkata. I am very much surprised to find the bus driver and conductor of the SBSTC bus is not following and COVID protocol. They are not wearing mask and not following guidelines. Picking up passengers from all places like local buses. The passengers are made to sit on every seat and many are even going standing. The buses are not cleaned and sanitised.

    I booked two tickets of an A/C bus from Kanunamoyee to Burdwan on 2/10/2021through SBSTC App. The journey date was on 14/10/2021 and the bus was scheduled at 12:00 pm. But the bus got canceled and I had to take the next SBSTC bus to Burdwan. I asked the conductor on duty about the refund. He assured me that the money will be refunded within 7 working days directly to my bank account. But till now I have not got any refund.

      Dear sir/mam,
      We have booked 3 bus ticket from Barasat to mednipur town.
      Now we have two baggage of each person, so total 6 baggage.Now the bus conductor is asking for exter charges of 200rs for baggage and refusing to give us the luggage ticket.
      Is there any extra charges system for baggage ? If yes, then why this thing is not included in our ticket fare.
      Please resolve this issue.

        Today I booked a ticket from Suri to Kolkata which stated from Suri at 01:00 pm bus No WB39A 2922. Mseat is No.16 infront of door. After evening I when it's cold and everyone shut their window I asked the conductor to close the door. He said the door is locked and won't close. As a result I am really suffering from extreme cold air. This is not a good service from SBSTC. The should repair the door if it has any problem. If I get cold due to this who will take responsibility?

          I have booked a ticket on 03/11/2021 for journey on 05/11/2021 from esplanade to burdwan. Amount deducted but no ticket was booked and till date the amount also not refunded.

            Pls issue a clear guideline regarding picking of passengers. There was no restrictions from WB Government for 50% passengers in Transport Buses in new guidelines, but they are doing simply nuisance. They are intentionally not picking up passengers of Burdwan from Muchipara though the seats are vacant. On asking they are not giving any reply just saying " Apni chorte parben na, ami bolchhi tai, er theke besi aapnake jawab deoa ami proyojan mone kori na" Specially 8.40 AM kolkata and 8.50 A.M Katunamoyee. They are the worst and treating passengers like dogs. It's my folded hand request pls look into the matter. There are many office going Persons who depends on you, If they reach late, the customer service will also hamper. So pls look into the matter and issue proper instructions to them

              Bus No WB39B2269 time 13.50 date 04/11/2021. Bus contactor load many passengers from midway which have no ticket. And also full the bus. After the present of Covid. Also bus contactor force the passengers to take seat in double seat and triple seat. Solved the problem as soon as possible.

                Bus no WB39B2269, Date 04/11/2021. Time 13.50 from Kolkata. Bus contactor will Force to passengers to seat in a double seat. After tell him about the Covid 19. He is also say that I will complain anywhere but he doing this again and again.

                  Seat no : 22 is government specified empty seat, conductor was selling government specified empty seat when we protested he told either we need to pay for that or someone will seat. Lastly we paid 150 Rs for that seat as we two ladies was there in 21 and 23.
                  This way bus was full of crowded and if anyone not obeying government norms then they should be punished.

                    This is to most humbly inform you that my name is Avishek Mukherjee and I am writing this letter to request for refunding the ticket amount i.e. 260/-. Respectfully, I would like to bring into your consideration that on 12/10/2021, I booked BUS ticket from you, from Kolkata (Esplanade) to Durgapur (Resv to : Budbud) through online. The Ticket number for the same is P[protected]. Due to the Bus cancelled (Dept Time :08.00) as informd by you through telephone refund not yet receive. makes me eligible for full refund for the cancelled Bus.
                    Therefore, I request you to kindly proceed with the refund formalities and kindly refund Rs 260/- as early as possible. Ticket attached for your ready reference.

                      Sbstc bus travelling from Kolkata to durgapur at 9 15 am ist ...bus no WB39B8344 ...very poor COVID protocol maintenance ... conductor zero show of responsibility towards maintaining 50% population inside the bus ... people are abording the bus in midways ... Please follow instructions

                          Respected Sir/Mam,

                          First of all I am very sorry for my delayed complaint due to unavailability of internet connection & computer.

                          I, Mr. Swarup Mondal have booked a SBSTC bus ticket (Non A/C) from Redbus sit on 28th of Sept 2021 ( KARUNAMOYEE TO ASANSOL) for 12th of Oct 2021(Ticket ID TQAS[protected] and same had been confirm by Red bus that my ticket was confirmed.

                          But at the time of travel on 12th of Oct 2021 the ticket checker told me that my ticket was not confirmed and I have to be purchase a new ticket. Several times I was making him understand that I have a confirm ticket and no cancellation information has yet not received from Redbus or SBSTC but he don't cared about that and behave very rudely with me. It is also very painful that one senior officials of SBSTC was present on that time but he was also support the ticket checker and behave with me like criminals. Forcefully he give me a ticket cost of Rs - 175/-. This is not end he was allow passengers in all the seats in bus and also standing 10-15 passengers travel with us entire 4 hours. As per government rules on present situation only 50% passenger allow to travel in bus specially long journey.

                          The cost of ticket is not matter for me but their behavior is very pain full. I fall very shameful on that moment. Please take this issue as a serious note else both the person doing this malpractices with passenger like me. Please take the action against the SBSTC & both the officials.

                          NB - Here is no option for attachment hence I am not able to submit my all the proof like bust ticket and SMS. If you required please let me know will share with you accordingly.

                            This incident happened with me on 16/10/2021. I was returning with my father from kolkata Dharmatala to Maldanga. Naturally we tried to collect tickets from Dharmatala ticket counter but counter rejected us. So we had seen the buses sit was empty and conductor told us to sit in the bus. So we sitted over the bus .We know that ticket conductor gives the ticket so we haven't responded about ticket to the ticket collector. Near Memari some ticket checker officers reached the bus and was threating us. And generally we asked them what was our problem? Bus conductor didn't give the ticket till now. But they Said that it is our problem and take fine charges 600(fine)+ 190(fare) = 790. But all the government buses from KATWA/KULLI/MALDANGA/KALNA to KOLKATA they don't take fare on time because of full of crowding. No COVID protocol they're maintaining. That time officers don't take any legal action. Officers misbehaved and threatened us. No COVID protocol, no sit limitations in the bus and no rules and regulations after that we were still in the bus then also misbehaved. For a middle class people 790 ruppess is too much. Why officers doesn't take any action when they're not maintaining any rules and regulations. And it is not our fault ticket collector didn't collect any tickets upto that time. It is his fault but we have given fines. I know nothing will do but I just written over here. And why they misbehaved with us I don't know. If they are so serious then they have to write all the rules and regulations inside the bus. And maintain the discipline all the days.

                              The conductor of bus no - WB39A0987 totally misbehaved with a lady passenger.He was rude and mannerless. Didn't give permission to sit in conductors seat to me(made me get up) but later he gave it to someone else...and no sanitization rules maintained by the bus, it was packed even many people were standing, without masks and when asked why he was letting passengers without masks he told to me to get down which was rude.

                                Online booking of Digha- Burdwan not available. Only ticket avilable at Burdwan or Digha counter. I asked at ticket counter they tell me ticket issued after arrival of bus previous day after 2 P.M. I go there they tell me ticket not available. I find they ticket issued anytime or previous day if I pay pay Rs 50/- extra per head. Why ? I request to higher authority please take necessary action regarding this matter. Conducter and ticket counter. staff corrupted. Please investigate this. If you want to speake with me I must help to you also. SBSTC.
