I had pre-booked 2 seats in the bus from Suri to Karunamoyee on 26th October 2022 at 8:00AM. By the time the bus reached our pickup location, it was fully crowded with passengers sitting on our pre booked seats. Those passengers along with the conductor expected us to keep standing for 30 minutes even after knowing our seats were booked a week prior to the journey. This behavior is utterly unprofessional amd irritating for passengers. We reserve the seats so that we get a hassle free journey. But if we have to travel like this then what is the meaning of such expensive tickets and GST if you cannot maintain your bus'condition or provide the passengers a peaceful travel.
Please take proper action against such things. Please keep a check on how many extra passengers are boarding this bus on the way so that reserved seats are free and passengers can get a smooth journey worth the money you make us pay for your tickets.

I had booked a seat on sbstc bus from Durgapur to Barasat from the sbstc website online(on[protected] .However even after paying ₹155, my seat has not been booked . I have previously booked my seats many times from this website but never have faced such problems. I tried calling the customer care number but it is also switched off.

Hi, currently I am waiting for 8.15 a.m bus to Burdwan and the counter people are not able to say when the bus will arrive. With me there are lot of people who are standing in the queue and waiting for the bus. I have some important work to attend in Burdwan. I am surprised how this state bus service works. Please resolve this issue as soon as possible.

I am a regular traveler to and from Kolkata to Midnapore. I find it interesting that the frequency of the buses solely depend on the will of the staff. The depot gets opened in Midnapore when they want, buses are either not available or has no fixed timing. No AC buses are there. No online booking possible. I have no idea why this casual approach! Please look into it. SBSTC can do better.

I have booked the seat 23 in SBSTC on 17:30 hrs for 13.10.2022 from Haldia to Kolkata bus. The seat was preoccupied by a passenger. Even if I have requesting to release the seat he was unwilling to do the same. I have reported that to conductor. But he couldn't try o release the preoccupied seat and provide me the seat just back of the driver of the bus. The bus was so crowded that to pass from one seat to another was very much tough. The standing passengers were unwilling to give me the pass & harrasment me badly.

Being a new traveller while returning from CMERI DURGAPUR I have booked a ticket for going to Kolkata. They didn't bother to ask for dropping destination that if I want to go to Korunamoyee or Dharmatala.

Instead they gave me a ticket of the bus Dharmatala. On riding to the bus at durgapur stand itself I came to know that this is a Dharmatala bound bus of 3.45pm and will not stop at Dunlop.

Immediately a came down from the bus and asked them to wait, while I rushed to counter just adjacent to get the ticket changed.

The counter boy directly told that it wil not get changed or neither be refunded and asked me to pay another Rs. 140 for Korunamoyee bound bus. The whole incident happened while the Dharmatala bound bus was standing in the stop.During the conversation suddenly the counter boy asked the bus conductor to leave without asking me.

This kind a hooliganism is not done in such a case that I had to pay total 280 for traveling without any refund..

I even rushed to enquiry counter to adjust the ticket somehow but they also shouted and decline for refund and said me that if they can sell it offline to any passenger then only they can refund me. They also refused to tell their name and said me to call whoever I want to and they will see.

Even the Korunamoyee bound bus was not in time.It started 20 mins late.

This is a case o[censored]tter disappointment.I am attaching the tickets. I have not only faced financial loss but also my total time schedule got delayed..

I want to get my refund as soon as possible.

And proper action to those staff present their who don't even know how to talk with a lady and not even bother to co-operate rather do cheating, so that don't dare to do the same thing again.

Respected sir/madam, I had booked a tkt from durgapur to Esplanade for 10 oct, tkt no P[protected]. Tkt status is now showing cancelled automatically. I had booked tkt for 4.50am but tkt generate as 6.30am Please resolve the problem if possible confirm my ticket and intimate as earliest as possible. Thanks.

If the buses are non stop then how it was stopped on dankuni housing.
I caught the bus for singur fly over.conductor misbehaved me and dropped down me on dankuni toll.
If it is non stop then why not written on board and how stopped at dankuni housing where I caught the bus

Is the sbstc is local bus. I m in a bus of 9.15 am from esplanade to durgapur. The bus is picking and dropping passengers here n there . Why?!! Please look into this matter strictly.

depot for the same but no fruitful reply were given to me.

R[protected] ( PNR-A7NK85HS) through Make My Trip operator for journey from Purulia to Durgapur but failed to ride as the SBSTC BUS has not moved its wheels on[protected] due to road blockade by Mahato & Kurmi community of Purulia ( Issue- demanding Scheduled Tribe Status). The news regarding road & rail blockade is already aired by media house ( Several Trains & Govt. Buses have been cancelled in Purulia).

I bought 2 tickets for Bejoy Krishna Debnath on 21-9-22, for the non ac bus from Kolkata, Esplanade to Burdwan, time - 8:15 am, seat no. 4 and 5, ticket no. P[protected]. But the bus didn’t came and also the passengers faced harassment so I demand for a refund as early as possible.

Hello, I am Prasanta Bar, I booked online ticket through Sbstc application for 6.30 am on 21/09/2022.
Therefore when I reached at Esplanade
Bus stop, I looked tha there are no bus arranged for this time then i cantact to ticket counter, the authority said that no bus available upcoming 2 hours.
At this situation I want refund my amount. Please take necessary action.

Repeatedly called asking about morning buses from Midnapore to Kolkata of 19.9 but continuously they said that 4.40 pm bus in confirm but for other buses I need to call them after 8 pm on 18.9.After calling repeatedly after 8 pm, they picked up the call once and said that 5.30 am morning bus is confirm but didn't say a single word about seat booking.On 19.9 morning I just found that all the seats are booked in the 5.30 am Midnapore -kolkata bus.Why are you serving this wrong information?If needed at all, just check the call records to check the authenticity of my complaint.

From Durgapur stn. Bustand(Asansol Suri Bus) at 3:30pm on 16/9/22, we travelled towards suri bus depo. and arriving there at 6:00 pm. We forgot to unload a luggage from the bunk of this bus. Next day we searching for this bag at suri depo. But no one there entertain me. I Repeatedly told them my problems but they told we don't know. So if pl. Consider my case as early as possible we will be highly obliged to you.

Today on 15.09.2022, Thursday at 7.10 pm I, Dr. Anuradha Mukherjee, Assistant Professor by profession went to book tickets for tomorrow 16.09.2022 Friday 7.15 am bus to Burdwan from Karunamoyee Bus Depot. But the person at counter misbehaved with me for no reason and rebuked me for buying tickets at a late hour. I was utterly insulted and was denied the tickets. I pray to concerned authority to take necessary action for this.

I am traveling by the bus from Durgapur to Berhampur on 12th September 2022 which left Durgapur Citycenter bus stand at around 8 am.
The conductor has filled up seat nos. 49 to 54 with luggage and is forcing us to stand during the journey Photo is attached herewith.

Today (4.9.2022) i was traveling from Kolkata to Haldia by only AC Bus of SBSTC which starts from Kolkata at around 2:30 pm. Around 4 to 5 passenger's from Nandakumar boarded the bus after negotiation with the conductor with only Rs. 30/- per passenger and no ticket was issued to them whereas the actual online fare is Rs. 80/-.
We travel with this buses by paying Rs220/- for better comfort, but if in these way the conductors and drivers keep doing then why we are traveling by paying such a good amount. And it has become a common practice for maximum drivers and conductors.
Hope i can expect a remidy for this and if required i am ready to provide my travelling details as and when required.

Yesterday, I reached at Esplanade SBSTC Ticket Counter ( Kolkata to Digha Counter) at around 5:50 pm. There's a lady(staff) sat there( just infront of me) that time, I asked the lady several times if The last bus for Digha had gone or not and the next day timetable of the busses but no response, she then just ignored me and started talking with her fellow Colleague(not one time, several times) means how much harrasment, I don't know how you can behave like this with your Customers. Kindly Change that staff and hire some educated Customer Friendly Staff!

I had 3 luggage with me because of which Driver said he can't board us and forced me my wife and my 2 year old kid to get down from bus.

Why do we have bus if we can't carry our luggage.
This happened in Santargachi and bus was vacant.
