Sir,

May i draw your kind attention to the frequent breakdowns of electricity in our locality (Pragati nagar, doctors colony, 500090) and the great inconvenience it causes to the residents! There are failures of electricity several times in a day. Sometimes, the current is switched off for several hours in a stretch.

These are winter months. Students suffer heavily and cannot study in the evening. We need consistent power to keep our computers from crashing, our food spoiling in the refrigerators and our heat on.

Please respond as soon as possible and let us know what steps are being taken to provide better service to our residence.

I request you, therefore, to see that the power plant at the place is thoroughly checked so that there is no chance of the failure of power supply in future.

    I write concerning the above account.
    The meter is currently showing a reading of 3692. I do not accept that the meter is recording accurately.
    The bill in question [reference] for rs.668 is significantly higher than it should be rs.120.
    I inspected the meter with all my electrical appliances turned off and noted that it continued to register [...] units of electricity consumption.
    It is clear that either the meter is faulty or that there is some other problem.
    Either way, the bill is not a true reflection of electricity used.
    I now wish to request you to carry out a test on the meter at my home.
    I look forward to hearing from you with a suitable date for the test to be carried out.

      Actual units we consumed is 100 units. But billing agent entered 150 units in error. Unnecessarily we have to pay 400 rupees extra. I want to go consumer coourt to file a case against tsspdcl.
      This bill we got on 11th september. Please take appropriate action on billing operator. This will become painful to us. I'll be waiting for response from you. I have all proofs with me.

          Last month i had lodged a complaint that i had wrongly been billed (Overcharged although the units consumed were less, i was charged far in excess in the highest slab) and subsequently your staff apparently came and replaced the meter saying it was faulty. This month again the same thing has repeated. Although consumed units are just 111, i have been charged for 398?? - looking forward to a speedy redressal of the problem.

          There is billing issue in Ebill for the month of August. In the physical bill it has amount 1469/- (unit 245) but in the ebill its 9155/-.
          Can you please check and revert back why there is huge discrepancies.

              My unique service number:[protected]. The electric meter got installed at my apartment in june 2017. Since then i didn't get e-bill and yesterday got the bill showing 329 units. They have mentioned those units for just 8 days and calculated the wrong tariff. 329 units are consumed in 2-3 months, not in 8 days. The tariff should be different. They have calculated the tariff for range 301-400. But these 329 units are not consumed in one month. Why didn't they send the e-bill on time every month?

              Of late, I got to know that electricity department has mapped service numbers with incorrect names and delivered the bills. But, the way to calculate the tariff is still same. They have reconciled the units consumed in 2-3 months and calculated those units under the same tariff.

                Hi,
                I would like to register a complaint regarding improper billing with reference to usc:[protected], sc. No:[protected], ero: habsiguda for the month of august'17. Tsspdcl personnel has generated bill amounting rs.1384/- with blatant disregard to the actual units utilised.
                I would like to ask you what is the logic behind arbitrarily assuming number o[censored]nits utilised when the meter you have installed gets stuck up, how can the customer be responsible for your equipment's failure?
                Take note that, this being rainy season, the utilisation is so low as 💯 units for 34 days, the utilisation of past two months is testament to that (Rs.251/- was the bill for last month). But for the august month's billing which was for only 27 days, yet it has been assumed as 243 units!!! Considering the summer months utilisation in arriving at an estimate of august's (A rainy month) units is extremely unfair. It is tantamount to cheating the customer.

                I hope that the authorities take responsibility of their malfunctioning equipment and my grievance gets resolved justly and swiftly.

                Ps: i would like to suggest the authorities to reconsider their policy of taking averages of previous months bill in cases of meter failure, take responsibility of your equipment instead of burning the customer.

                  Hi, please to inform you that we are charged 5555rs for two months referring to sc no.[protected].

                  This is really not fair to pay the highest current bill if metre is changed due to burnt.

                  Actually its rainy season so we dont consume current more than 1000rs where we are charged highest current bill for the year i. E., 2765rs.

                  We paid the metre replacement fee on the same day and he took a month to change it bz of his personal reasons.. We have done several remainder calls during this period.

                  We shocked to see the current electricity bill where the lineman reporting us to pay two times of the highest current bill.

                  When the fault is with the lineman, why the consumer should bare this fee.

                  Please let me know why we are charged 5555rs for just two months which should be around 3000 not more than that as we are in vacation for two weeks.

                      From last month (July 2017) meter stopped working and the lineman generated bill same as june month bill and promised to fix new meter. I have paid the bill understanding the concern. He has not fixed the new meter till date and generated bill for 2280/- for august and arguing that was the summer bill and as the meter is not working they generate the bill with highest amount we paid in summer bill. Please address this concern as these guys are exploiting people this way. I don't understand if the meter is not working how are we responsible to under go this exploitation.

                        We are having frequent power cuts through out the day... Almost max 1-2 hours at a time for 4-5 times a day. This includes night time as well. Can you look into this soon n fix this.

                          electricity meter seal not yet replaced

                          The TSSPDCL had replaced my meter on the 21st of August as the meter got burnt. TSSPDCL had replaced the meter but have till date not put the meter seal despite numerous requests to the concerned person Mr. Ram prasad cell no [protected].
                          I request TSSPDCL and the concerned person to peplace the seal at the earliest.

                          Hi team,
                          My sc no: [protected], usc :[protected].
                          Few months back the meter was not working and bill was in lacs. So complained to concern ae and meter was replaced and for that they charged average bill of rs 2600 per month for 2 consecutive months. I paid it with pain.
                          Again this month it is not working and they billed me rs 3526.
                          When i discussed with concern officer he said they have taken an average bill for last 7 months but i never paid rs 3500 as a electric bill.
                          Please rectify it as it is not fair and i cannot afford to pay that amount again.

                          As per our records bills were being generated based on IR reading read by the meter so if you want your meter to be tested then you are requested to contact AE/OP/CHANDA NAGAR on [protected] and pay the demand draft in the favour of TSSPDCL of amount Rs.100/- and then on contacting AE/Op your meter will be sent for testing and relevant action will be taken by AE/Op based on MRT report

                            You bill was generated based on IR reading read by the meter so you are requested to contact Ae/OP/MIG on [protected] in this regards and if you want your meter to be tested then you are requested to pay Rs.300/- through Demand draft in the favour of TSSPDCL and then by contacting AE/MIG, your meter will be sent for testing in your /neighbor/your relatives presence and relevant action will be taken by AE based on the MRT report

                                Sub: complaint of abnormal generated bill dated at 09/08/2017 for rs. 18387/- amount.

                                Dear sir,
                                I am quite shocked to receive the electricity bill amount of rs: 18387 for the july month dated at 09/08/2017 against consumption of 2079 units. We have not consumed this much units of electricity and it is not possible to consume by our home appliance.
                                Hence i would like to bring to your notice the electricity bill generated dated at 09/08/2017 for this month is not acceptable and i am not able pay this month bill amount due to the above stated reason.
                                Please recheck the actual consumption which is consumed by us and correct the generated bill accordingly for making the payment.

                                Please take necessary action immediately for the above stated subject and acknowledge the receipt of compliant.

                                Note : if require, please refer the last 6 month of my consumption and paid amount for your reference (Refer the enclosed electricity bills for june and july months for your ready reference)

It has been logged since 10th april, 2017 and the current status shows that it is still waiting the ero approval. The clearance has been done by csc sometime in may, but there has been no action from kukatpally ero since long.

                                      Pl verify at your as per bill generating person they don't know about the bill system. They simply scan the meter and gave the bill.
                                      As per your tariff below 100 units energy charges:
                                      0-50 units 1.45 and
                                      51-100 units 2.60

                                      50*1.45= 72.5
                                      48*2.60= 124.8

                                      Total 198.3 rupees but in my bill 324.40

                                      Pl clarify why it was observed excess bill
