I have got electricity bill of rupees 12800 this month. My monthly bill never use to cross from 2000 to 3000. I stay with family of 3 members including me and I dont have any electronic devices that comsumes huge electricity except one AC which we hardly use in this rainy season. We did not receive any hardcopy of electricity bill last month, but we paid the amount that was reflecting in the online portal which was a bill amount of Rs. 1776 .

This month we received a hard copy which includes reading from both the months, showing the cumulative meter reading 1014 units .The bill is corresponding to the same unit which is Rs. 6997 .

They have deducted the amount that we paid last month...

When inquired the person said that paper in printer got exhausted so he did not print the bill last month. Due to this i had to pay for 429 units at a time with high price per unit. Billing executive regularly comes late only after 9 or 10 of every month

The executive who gives the bill is coming after 9 or 10 of every month. The units cross the basic limit than usual. When asked, he says last time he came early which is false. Due to the neglectance of the executive consumers are affected ending up paying high bills. This looks like a hitch looting.
