We received a bill of 1512/- this month. This includes an arrear of 1037/- after april 1st. We have paid each and every bill till date online itself. Now the problem is that my husband has paid the bill of 1512/- online without seeing the bill since he is working in other state. Can we get the arrear cancelled and get the amount refunded or atleast the amount to be used to pay upcoming bills?

We have not received your October month's payment .Please see the payment details and the consumption and arrear details showing the same below:

For your information, we haven't received the bill of October month since the lineman stated that he couldnt read the reading. Lineman didn't hand down any bill. And if we count the no o[censored]nits missing between 2037 and 1850 you cannot charge 1000/- for 187 units. Please resolve this

    Issue Details:
    Electric meter fixed for our new floor in the month of April, 2016 and since then no power was utilized. But unfortunately TSSPDCL generated bill for Rs. 2460 in the month of Oct, 2016. Since there is no consumtion of power how they generated bill for higher value.One of the Technicians from TSSPDCL stated that the meter is not working proerly. We astonished to here that how new meters are getting in to this type of problem. Pl. verify the meter and do justice in this reagard.
    Could you please take necessary action and replace the meter ASAP so as to avoid future inconvenience.

      Dear sir, Last month we were out of station at the time of bill generation. So on an average they have taken it as 190 units and charged as per the slab rate.This month thay have taken meter rading for the full two montha and charged for two months as a result slab rate was changed and the electricity bill was doubled. we have enquired about this in the electicity office they told that there is no software to change the meter reading they are telling. Though we paid in the previous month we were charged double the amount in this month.

        You need not pay this month's bill as it got adjusted by your credit balance. and still your service is having an credit balance of Rs.303/-. if your next month's bill amount is <= Rs.303/- then no need to pay the next month's bill else pay the balance amount by deducting Rs.303/- from the bill amount at Kukatpally ERO or at nearest TSSPDCL bill counter after 20th of next month.For more queries, mail us on [protected]@tssouthernpower.com

          My meter bill reading for the month of september was 2708, however, on 1st october the meter stopped working abruptly and showed no reading, when the light man came he entered the same amount as of last month ie, 2708 rupees. The meter got changed and was replaced with a new one after 2-3 complaints and i was told to pay the amount (Although for the month of october my flat was empty and there were no tenets, ideally the bill should have been around 200-300, yet i paid 2708 again), i paid it, today, 4th november, the guy comes and gives the same amount of 2708 to be paid and says that it should be paid for the next month too!!!

          What is the logic behind this?

          The meter which the govt officials installed, stops functioning abruptly and then i have to pay the whole amount for 3 months or so, why???

          Is there not a regularization in this?

          I request the tsspdcl authorities to look into the matter and reduce my bill amount as i cannot afford to let my money loose on technical problems created by the govt officials themselves

            1) i was given letter (case no:mdk/mdk/gmdd/2983/16) by the electricity staff on 22/10/2016 to pay rs 2800/- for the difference of contracted load & connected load.
            2) the letter is not signed by any authority.
            3) i am sure that the reading was taken wrongly in my absence & asked them to recheck the load in my presence but they refused to do so.
            4) on 23/10/2016 the electricity people disconnected the connection though 1 month period is mentioned in the letter. after i paid rs 2800/- on 23/10/2016, the connection was again restored by the local el. staffer.

            Thus may i request you to re-check the load of the connection again & if the letter is false (since without any signature) pl refund the paid amount.

I contacted bank and they said to contact the power company. I tried to contact but the call did not connect. Please look into this. Unique Service number is 19959838.                 Both payments are credited to TSSPDCL. The extra paid amount will be present as credit to your service. As this details may not be reflected in the bill as well as in the website. so if your next month's bill amount is <= Rs.562/- then no need to pay the bill, else pay the balance amount by deducting Rs.562/- from bill amount at Kukatpally ERO or at nearest TSSPDCL bill counter after 20th of next month, where there will be provision to edit the bill amount based on your credit balance.For more queries, mail us at [protected]@tssouthernpower.com

                  Myself Ramprasad bellamkonda resident of Sahara states, Mansoorabad, writing a complaint regarding meter issue, I used to get monthly electricity bill of rupees150 – 200 Rupees after that few months I get 300 to 600 but present month bill more than 4-5times of our previous bills (1300), which is quite abnormal. We r not using big appliances, (I DON’T HAVE TV, AC, WASHING MECHINE). sir I am a person who believe in saving electricity and we used as much required, so how is it possible of such a huge amount of bill. Please check my meter due to over running. Kindly look into this and adjust my bill or replace the current meter.

                            My house has remained closed since August 05, 2016. However I got the electricity bill of Rs 1168/- from TSSPDCL. I am not sure how that is possible, if the house is locked? My neighbour had opened the house for the meter reading guy to take note of the meter reading, but I don't think the government guy made a proper note of it, or some blunder is made from their end. Kindly have this investigated....

                            Sub : Complain & Request To Correct Electricity Bill # 6421 for the Period 09/08/2016 to 09/09/2016
                            and to take action to adjust my electricity bills for the past SIX Months.

                            Ref : SC No[protected]: ERD : Medchal Area Code : 060217

                            1. An 3 Phase electrical meter No 034103 was installed in my house which generated higher bills as the meter was running even when all electrical appliances were turned off which clearly suggest that the meter was faulty, then against my request letter Vide No: UBS/ TSSPDC/01/2016 dated 12/08/2016 to the office of A.E. Kompally of TSSPDC the Meter No 034103 was tested by AE / LT Meter/Qutubullapur & after testing the meter was found faulty & accordingly the old Defective Meter No 034103 was replaced on 16/08/2016 with a new meter no.[protected]Copy enclosed at Annexure C)

                            2. Under Section 57 of Indian electricity rule 1956, TSSPDCL should test the meter of the consumer at least once every five year but the Old Meter no 034103 HPL was not tested for a long time and was declared defective then TSSPDC had to furnish duly authenticated test results to the consumer but to hide the defect, the test report was NOT given to the Customer. As the old meter was found DEFECTIVE & accordingly new meter was replaced 0n 16/08/2016 so supply company TSSPDCL have to take action to adjust my electricity bills for the past SIX Months.

                            3. Instead of taking action to adjust my Electricity Bill for the Past Six Months as the old meter No 024103 was declared defective as mentioned under above Para, the supply company TSSPDC has generated a wrong Electricity Bill # 6421 on 09/09/2016 at 09:50 am as mentioned below

                            (No Clue about the absurd calculation logic. The calculation should be Ps – Pv which does not appear to be the case while calculating the above units)

                            Request you to kindly correct the Electricity Bill # 6421 for the Period 09/08/2016 to 09/09/2016 and to take action to adjust my electricity bills for the past SIX Months.

                              Our service number is[protected]. On august 5th your people served the bill for me it is Rs 383/- this amount came to my online banking a/c and I pad it full on 13th August. Today 27/08/2016 your people are calling me asking bill is due. I Checked online same is showing due for some 2280 .. how come it is possible and same day two bills are generated.??.
                              Cheating with the customers.. or something malpractice of your staff..are they entered our service number and entered the others reading.

                                I paid 1424:00 rs complete amount what i has to pay was paid but in the new bill the amount again got is 1550 so how come one month current charges will be that much huge only for a month so kindly hp me in this regard really upset with this thing please help me out of this query

                                We are waiting for AE(Bhramiya) at the LT testing lab since 10 am in the morning but he is still not in office. It is 12:20 pm now

                                  Hi,

                                  I would file a complaint regarding the weekly power outages that are being carried out on mondays near my home at pragathi nagar - kukatpally. These power outages are really long for about 7-8 hours (From 10am to 5pm) and we are facing so much difficulty because of this. A 1 hour outage is acceptable but this is not at all acceptable. Please kindly look into this and as promised by tg government there should not be any interruption to the electricity in hyderabad.
                                  If this is the case in the city of hyderabad, then i cant imagine what it is like in outskirts and in rural.

                                  Need some one to take action on this immediately.

                                    Our sc. No. Pz002289. We have received the electricity bill for the period from 06/07/2016 to 06/08/2016 on 6th aug 2016. No o[censored]nits is shown as 131 units. And the total amount is charged 542.00. Whereas last month i. E., from 10/06/2016 to 06/07/2016 no o[censored]nits is shown as 132 and the amount 418.00 it seems there is something wrong in calculation. Pl clarify.
