We lost our American tourister baggage while checking in in spice jet SG 103 on 3/7/17 at 14.45 from Delhi to MADURAI via Chennai ...Our PNR is XEKH9X in the name AKSHYA RAJ ALAGARASAN...The baggage is a violet colour American tourister suitcase with clothes men accessories ...And 3 Blu-ray discs all worth around RS 15000/-...We wish action is taken against this complaint and we get back our lost baggage as soon as possible...

    Dear sir/madam,
    Reference: flight number sg877
    Confirmation: s28sqr
    I am writing to you in connection with the above flight which i was booked on the 23 may 2017.

    The flight was supposed to depart from kolkata on the 24 may 2017 at 7.30pm, but was delayed by over 4 hours. Consequently we would have missed our connecting flight from mumbai to london (Lhr) - a copy of our tickets attached.

    Due to your delay we had no choice but to fly with another airline (Jet airways) to avoid missing our connecting flight, again a copy of our tickets attached. We paid 46, 594.00 inr for our return tickets with your airline.

    Due to you not performing your part of the contact and not letting us reach mumbai at 10.30pm. We had to pay an additional 52, 852.00 inr in order to catch our connection.

    I am entitled to the sum of 52, 852.00 inr compensation and look forward to receiving the sterling equivalent within the next 14 days.
    I attach a copy of the ticket.

    I look forward to hearing from you before i lodge a complaint to abta.

      I had the flight on 30 june of 4pm from guwahati to new delhi having pnr no-o7w24m of flight no. Sg-169 for which due to traffic i could not make up to come on time limit of 45min. Before departure instead i reached the boarding pass providing counter which was at the corner last of the airport exactly on 3:17pm by my watch which for which is i was 2 min late of constraint time limit.in that counter one lady was there for providing boarding pass and she was such an arrogant as a person that even before i speaked a word she told sir we are closed you have to check another airlines. I was stuck for a min that she treating me as if i am traveling in there for free and i have no right to say anything for which when i told her that why are you talking in such bad manner even if i am requesting you to please help me and allow me to board she replied so badly that we just can't help in this and we will not provide you any refund only taxes portion will get back to you. I asked her to let me talk to some of her senior for which she said i am the senior person and i am saying u are not allowed to board. It was such an embarrising that i really felt as if i have committed a serious crime. She told that there system has time constraint and it automatically gets off 45min before departure whereas person sitting on baggage scanning machine of spicejet told me that if mam allows than you can board. There are other airlines to which are really helpfull in such situations as i was just 2 min late only. I can understand the rules of airlines as it is not first time i am traveling on flight but their should be a good behaviour and feeling of gratitude to the customers as i was only 2 min late she could have helped me and it is ok even if i can assume that spicejet is very strict in its rules protocol at-least the staff members could speak softly keeping aside their"rich person attitude" and considering customer as dog to whom you can behave as you wish like attitude. I am not complaining this because my money got wasted because of her and i need refund of it but because of such a harresement spicejet boarding pass providing crew give to their customer.

        refusal to refund airfare on medical grounds

        I had booked a flight from bangalore to patna (Pnr: dy3vxg) to travel on the 9th of july, but was unable to travel due to my wife's health issues. I spoke to their customer service, where i was asked to cancel my tickets to get a refund of rs.5342 out of rs.9842) and then write to customer relations to get the cancellation fee (Of rs.4500) waived off. Since my wife wasn't traveling, it was communicated to the spicejet...

        I forgot to remove my powerbank from checkin baggage and the flight authorities have romved it and saying they have disposed it, as there is a rule that they dispose it within 24 hrs. But when my parents visited them, they had no idea about it and no records were maitain for any such, they just said that i have requested to collect it on 31 july. But when i went to collect it on 31 july they said that they have already disposed it. How can i recover it from them.

          Horror experience with spicejet - the worst airlines in india... Pls read and share...
          For those of you who haven't experience the pathetic #spicejet services till date, consider this as a warning - never fly with spicejet, try booking a train or a cab instead in case there is no other flight option available...
          On 10th july, spicejet flight from mumbai to delhi sg154 was scheduled to depart at 9:30pm. At around 6pm, we got a message that the flight has been preponed and will depart at 9:15pm. Since we were running on a tight schedule, we had to leave an important event even earlier...
          As we were entering the airport at 7:45pm, we got another message that the flight was delayed and will depart at 10:30pm. It was really frustrating as we had left the event 15 minutes earlier while we could have actually completed our meeting... Anyways we understand that delays happen and started waiting... And then started the real ordeal...
          Starting 9:30pm, every 15 minutes, there was a new update of the flight being delayed by 15-30 minutes every 15 minutes... By around 10:30pm the flight schedule reflected 11:30pm departure. The spicejet crew looked helpful till now and even arranged for refreshments for the passengers, but immediately after this all of them disappeared...
          There were young kids, elderly, physically disabled people who were actually left to the mercy of god, no one to look after them, no one to even give the correct status...
          A lot of these elderly people and people with kids started asking for flight change and wanted spicejet to arrange for morning flight tickets and accommodation for the night as they had no update, and this is when spicejet staff showed their true spirit and told them that it will take 3-4 hours to take approvals and hence it is better to wait like other normal people were waiting. There was absolutely no consideration for kids, elderly and people who really needed attention... The tired kids finally slept on the floor but the elderly had no option but to sleep in the wheel chair itself...

          Before we knew, we had already spent 5 hours at the airport when they finally announced that the boarding would start and everyone while cursing the spicejet crew boarded the flight but the ordeal was not over yet... We were waiting inside the aircraft for another hour before it finally took off at 2am. Spent more than 6 hours at the #mumbai airport in a condition which made us all feel like refugees of war and spicejet cabin crew-gurgaon behaving like hitler without having any mercy..

            I was doing ticket fm delhi to silchar of 06/06/17. As on 22/05/17. Amount 6203/- debit fm my account. Ticket was not made. Thereafter i continue contact to customer care n send many mail. But, i not received my amount so far. My complaint no[protected] and 01114822. I am waiting fm two months but not received my amount. Its show that u are not cooperating. Resolve this matter.

                I kinjal palani & spouse bhavin palani (Seat e1 & f1) we were travelling from chennai to mumbai on 22nd july in flight no.612.

                We had done web check in however at the baggage counter the lady offered us spicemax package at rs.1000 for each seat, we said no. Then she said i will give you on complementary so u can both have the package for rs.1000. Hence we said yes.

                However at the time of boarding we were not given any priority, we waited for announcement and getting rejected we boarded plane almost at the end after waiting in the long line. Further we had no space to keep our hand luggage since others had already occupied the cabin space.

                Later when the food was served only i kinjal palani was given meal and was told my husband bhavin palani was not under spicemax package. I told the air hostess this was unfair as we were told while being issued the boarding pass this package is for both o[censored]s. She did not budge. I then asked her to give me complaint form since i was unhappy with this package she said yes and never gave me any form for feedback. I told her how we were not given any priority while boarding and no space for luggage as well, but no senior crew member got back to us.

                We feel we were fooled that we were getting spicemax package for two o[censored]s for rs.1000. Very disappointing experience, we would like to have refund for the same.

                    I had traveled with spice jet twice. Both the times my flight got delayed by 5-6 hours or more than that. Which is ridiculous, due to this i got off my next flight.

                    I had heard from many of my friends and family members also, that their flight also got delayed almost every time. And they don't even inform prior. We reach the airport on time and after that get to know that flight is delay.

                    Please take a strict action on spicejet airlines, many passengers are bearing due to this airlines. Tehy are ridiculous!!

                    From now onward i will never ever prefer to travel with spicejet.

                    For spicejet the review i will give is - worst, ridiculous, inadequate, irresponsible, bad,...

                      My dad was travelling from pune to ahmedabad on friday the flight which got delayed for 3 hour 10 min.. Miss meghna or megha ground staff was a bit rude to mr. Navrozkhan the passenger she insisted to give 1k and get upgrade but when he refuse and ask for window seats she said not a single window seat available when he reached there at 7pm and check in time was 7.40 pm then he was carrying 1 hand strolley bag with a laptop bag but she was like u can't travel with both bags as a handbag n took a weigt of it there was just half kg difference but she started asking more money for that.. He travelled with same hand luggage with 2 fligts jet airways n indigo both were good to him and nobody created any fuss about it.. She even not informed about more than 3 hour flight delay so he could have not check in that time.. We are so irritated by there customer service that won't like to go again for spicejet as for business my dad travel alot..

                        How is this possible to refund to a closed account?
                        Don't you people get this simple thing.
                        I asked you to refund to a different account, i already gave you the details for the same.
                        Its been more than 6 months.
                        If you cant process it, can you please atleast contact me to a higher executive, who might take some action.
                        I dont get, cant you people think of the possibility of what you are saying, i. E. Refunding to a closed account.
                        I provided you with all the proofs that the account is closed.
                        You are saying you refunded in january '16 while the account was closed on sept'15/oct'15.
                        Please refer to previous mails and try to find a sense.
                        And make me contact to some senior executive.

                        This is last mail done with spicejet but they are not giving any response from them

                          My family were travelled via Spicejet flight SG16 from Dubai to Ahmedabad on 15th July 2017. PNR J9K2PW.
                          Due to some technical issue (as communicated to us) all their baggage (4 Pcs) were not loaded in the flight from Dubai and was informed to deliver by next flight.

                          However after extensive followup on both Dubai & Ahmedabad airports the luggage was delivered after 4 days (on 19th July) to us. Also it was not delivered to our home but we have to collect it from the courier office.

                          We are NRIs and on a visit to India, just imagine how my family managed these 4 days without the luggage. All our baggage were stuck hence they have to purchase everything including clothes and other necessity for daily living.

                          This is disgusting service from SpiceJet as they haven’t called a single time for the status and even no compensation was provided.

                          Appreciate if consumer forum can take this matter with Spicejet and arrange to get necessary compensation for the expenses, stress and uncertainty we faced during these days.

                            I have booked the ticket from make my trip for spice jet airline yesterday (19th july 2017) from delhi to trivendraum for my daughter. While booking on the screen 2 rates are visible on the screen for the same flight (Sg-946) & unknowingly i clicked the first option & paid the total amount of 4606. I took the print out & found that the option i selected is without baggage one. I called the support team (Mobile no [protected]) at 16.15 hrs, similarly i called make my trip at 16.22 hrs & after listening the grievance both told they cant do any thing as the baggage tag is available & you chose the wrong one & you have to pay rs 400 if you want to take 15kg of weight along. This is happened immediately after within one hour of my booking

                            Now my questions are

                            1) why the non baggage tag is available as first option
                            2) if there is wrong selection by customer why should they pay rs 400 as additional if the observed immediately after booking. They should pay only the difference of amount
                            3) if the cost of 15 kg bag is rs 400 then why the discount is just 10 rs (Attaching the screen shot to prove my point)

                              I booked a flight from varansi to goa via mumbai, in the mean time i got msg that my flight get delayed and the next dep. Time is 11 pm because of this we are not able to pick our connecting flight from mumbai after that executive of counter offer us to choose the flight for next day morning besides this no other option was there. Because of no other option we went ahead by the above offer but for staying in night they not arranged any accomodation due to this we were spent unessassry monies for staying and we were fully harassed physically economically and mentally.in view of the above problem we want compensation for harassment from the company and assurance that further no one will harassed by company

                              I booked a flight from Varansi to Goa via Mumbai, in the mean time I got msg that my flight get delayed and the next dep. Time is 11 pm because of this we are not able to pick our connecting flight from Mumbai after that executive of counter offer us to choose the flight for next day morning besides this no other option was there. Because of no other option we went ahead by the above offer but for staying in night they not arranged any accomodation due to this we were spent unessassry monies for staying and we were fully harassed physically economically and mentally.                                 Hi all,

                                I had booked a flight from chennai to kochi to travel on august 22 nd, 2017. As i had booked the ticket on the wrong date, i wanted to cancel the booking. Had called up the spice jet help desk on the same day (22nd may). I was informed that a cancellation fee of rs 1000 shall be levied. (The total booking cost was rs 3500 for two people. It was booked in an offer timperiod.) they had also confirmed the cancellation fee shall remain rs 1000 till 48 hours before the flight departure.

                                I had called up help desk on 4th july and i was informed that the cancellation fee shall be rs 2500. When it was informed about my previous conversation, they apologized for the wrong information provided. It was confirmed that the cancellation cost shall remain as rs 2500.

                                  I was traveling to tirupati from delhi on 7 july through sg-123 for hyderabad which got delayed for 2 hours initially from delhi. I was told there that my connecting flight form hyderabad to tirupati which was at 9:35 am will also get delayed due to this operational reason so i was okay to board the flight otherwise i would have canceled the tickets. But when i reached hyderabad they told me that the connecting flight was gone and the next flight was at 3 pm which destroyed my whole itinerary of the day but anyhow when we created a lot of havoc at the airport then they shifted us to different airlines for 12:35 pm to tirupati. But due to this problem a lot of energy got wasted and a lot of time was wasted in this process. I want to know whether these problems keep on occurring in spicejet.

                                    Flight was delayed by 1 hour u ppl called mailed us depart time 15.35 told us to come early da waiting is so long people r qued up waiting for so long this is not acceptable flight from mum to goa which was scheduled at 15.50 again u # or
                                    Preponed it to 15.35 was delayed by 1 hour boarding started at 1600... Was really irritating, i missed my seminar cuz o[censored] ppl...
                                    Flight SG-524 got delayed on 14 July 2017 for 5 hours. As per dgca rule I demand an apology and compensation of 10000 rupees from SpiceJet. They were giving false information to the passengers.thank you. Dr Praveen patne

                                      I was traveling from kolkata to bangalore on 18th june ( have attached my boarding pass for more details) in Spicejet.
                                      My PNR:- CG48SB
                                      My luggage was broken like anything anyhow i bought it back home. I was waiting for half an hour for someone to report my issue in airport but there was no one. There was one staff who took the pics of my luggage and asked me to mail to this mailid [protected]@spicejet.com.

                                      After my mail i got a response that i did not wait for reporting the issue and we cannot help you mam.

                                      I replied back that you have not done your investigation properly and i was waiting at the airport for more than 40 mins but still there was no one to take my report and even the arrival officer was not there.

                                      After a lot of mails finally they said we can give only 500rs as a compensation.So i thought atleast i would get that amount even if my bads handle is also not worth 500rs but i have still not recived the amount.

                                      Its been a month almost but i did not recive the amount.
                                      If this is the kind of service of spice jet people should not travel in spice jet.

                                      I received fake call letter on the name of spicejet airways. They are demanding security deposit of 9950rs. And the HR persons name is Siddharth chaudhary. And mentioned in call letter that interview is held in gurgaon on 9th of August. Also mentioned that security deposit is refundable
