The flight SG 254 departed from Kolkata (CCU) on the 3rd of May, 2017 at 5.35pm was supposed to arrive at Delhi airport by 8.20 pm. But redirected to Jaipur airport due to bad weather and still waiting there for indefinite time and for some unknown reason, while the present condition of the weather in Delhi is better. My parents (senior citizen)are traveling there and are facing such troubles and harassment for no reason. this is really painful. And such experience is just unbearable.

    I had transferred rs2500/- in the spice cash account on 21st april to book a ticket. I tried to use that amount for booking but wasn't receiving an otp. I tried 15-20 times but was not able to book a ticket. So i placed a complaint with [protected]@spicejet.com on the same day. It has been 5 days since i have filed a complaint but no action has been taken by them. Now when i am trying to login the account it isnt allowing it. I even tried to change the password but even that is not getting done.

    This airline sucks!!!

      We are regular fliers on spice jet. Today we 6 members of my family including 2 senior citizens aged 68 and 65 yrs, that is my self and my wife were traveling to jaipur by flight no sg 2623 which depart from delhi at 07.15 hrs. At 6.40a. M, while we were in security check line, i got 3 telephone calls on my mobile calling us to repot for boarding.. The panic like situation was created and we all became nervous and virtually to run for boarding and entered the plane around 6.55a. M. Even there after at least 10 passengers entered the plane. There was no occasion for the staff to create panic like situation. Moreover the flight itself took off at 7.30 a. M. That is, 15 min late. Be that as it may, our seat no 7a was near the wings and due to noise my grandson asked for cotton bud, but the same was not made available. It is unheard of that airline like yours do not provide such essential items.

        SpiceJet Booking PNR UFVD2R: 21 Apr 2017 BKK-Kolkata for MS. STEFANER

        As this is an issue regarding the malfunctioniong cooperation between paytm and spicejet, what concerns the booking system, I'm urged to write you also for your support, as spicejet is wrongly not admitting to its mistakes and just as paytm refuses to take its responsibilities.

        Recapitulating:

        1. After trying to book an flight om spicejet flight, my booking was rejected as my card was not good enough for booking. There was a clear rejection of my credit card. There is at least one confirmed message, which I can forward to you, and a confirmation of rejection on the website.
        2. So with no other option I was forced to buy another flight as that booking according to spicejet website never happened. I could not call them. .. The time was not there and the website for me was proof enough there was no ticket issued. The email confirming a booking arrived LATER!!
        3. Spicejet stíll booked it although paytm wrote not possible with my card.
        4.I called spucejet as soon as I realized ThEIR mistake and they said no problem, they will refund me FULLY
        5. After having to contact them again they refunded me just 27 euros instead of 60
        6.They never mentioned cancellation fees until then, where I called them thrice, each time they interrupted the call, even though I was on the line long time, about one hour in total. I asked to speak to someone capable of doing the customer service job but was refused so.
        I was NEVER told about any cancellation fees until that call, not even at the time of cancellation. Spicejet never informed me and is refusing to provide evidence. They are even refusing ro send me a valid order nr and invoice, upto date paytm cannot find anything with the reference provided.
        IF I KEW, I may have opted for another option... Like a change of name or cancellation of air asia flight. But I repeat, and please listen to that, their worker DID NOT inform me, instead he confirmed a FULL refund within a certain given time frame (which was lately ignored)
        I requestd a full escalation of this case and a fair proceeding, but was just ignored. I am willing to take legal steps, even if it cost me more than what they have actually stolen from me.
        I'm however hoping in a fair and quick resolution from your side, one that they weren't able to offer so far, in order to avoid a lot of hassle for all o[censored]s.

          On 19th March, 2017 while travelling from New Delhi to Bangalore, I had given my hard-sheeted polycarbonate skybag luggage worth Rs.7000/- plus for check in luggage and even marked the same as FRAGILE.
          when I collected the bag in Bangalore, I noticed that there is a hole in one side of my suitcase, which was caused due to negligence and rough handling of spicejet ground staff.
          The same was immediately informed to one of the spicejet agents available at the airport and copy of BAGGAGE IRRELUGALITY REPORT (Folio No-32503) was also received for the same.
          Since then I have been following up with spicejet to compensate me for the damages and after 3 weeks of followup spice jet is compensating me maximum as Rs.500 in account transfer and Rs.1000 spicejet vouchers, which can be used for any spicejet travel in future.
          Even though I have accepted this, I am not happy with the compensation they are providing. Even when now I have agreed with this minimal compensation, it seems now that they are now not ready to compensate this as well and not replying to any of my mails.

            Dear Relationship Manager

            This is regarding a complaint against spicejet staff in Guwahati international airport. My family including my father, mother, sister, aunt were travelling from Guwahati to chennai on SG464 Flight on 14th april 2017. PNR No of my father was B2TGNL, Mr Debabrata Borgohain. My family were seated in 5 ab and 6def. My father is a paralysed patient and cannot speak. He has been brought to Chennai for further treatment. We asked for a wheelchair in the check in counter. The check in counter staff named Smriti and Manoj misbehaved with my family and were not allowing my father and the whole family to enter the security check inspite of showing the medical documents. However Smriti checked them in and handed over the boarding passes but she kept them waiting for 1.5 hours in the check in counters itself without specifying any reason. Not only they mistreated my family but they misbehaved with another two families as well. The other families were denied boarding just because they had patients. The staff Manoj felt that members of those families were not stable enough to fly Inspite of showing doctor certificate. Your staff argued that the member of the other family is not paralysed inspite of showing the written reports from the doctor.

            My family had to wait till the last minute to do the boarding as the airline staff felt that my dad isn't fit to travel although they have been shown the fit to fly certificate. My sister had to convince the staff to allow them to enter the security check. This is clearly a case of infringement to move freely throught India under Article 19 (d). This kind of behaviour is totally not accepted from a reputed airline like yours. I can't explain enough what torture my family specially my dad who is a patient had to go through today just because of sheer arrogance and ignorance of your staff. Not only my family but I am sure other people would also not like to travel with such insensitive airline who doesn't value humanity. I would take up this matter for legal action against spicejet for violating my rights. I would also publish the whole story in social media for people to know and make their choice of airline wisely in their next travel.

            Hoping to get an early response with the mention of corrective action to be taken against this whole situation..

              Dear Sirs,

              I have received the attached letter requesting for a deposit of INR 9, 950. I have experience from a foreign airline and am well aware how recruitment is done:

              1. An actual airline does not inform a candidate that he or she has been shortlisted by a text message .
              2. It does not request for money to attend an interview.
              3. You will always receive a call (which I din't)
              4. The bank account looks fake.
              5. It is very clear that the letter has been photoshoped where as the signature is of a person with Spicejet stamp.
              6. Finally, Spicejet's actual letter is a very different format from what I have been sent.

              Also, I was sent the email (attached). An email should always be for example "[protected]@spicejet.com" and never ".org".

              I request you to please take action on this matter. This has come to me from a certain person named Danish Deshmukh impersonating himself as HR for the airline.

              I trust that this will be treated as a SERIOUS case as it defames a really wonderful airline brand, SpiceJet and also is an attempt to fool many hopefuls.

              My sister received the same call letter. Thanks to this post we avoided it.
              I seriously wished Consumer Forum would take some action but they are busy taking an eternal nap it seems.

              Anywho thanks Russell for posting this.
              My friend also received the same message.. Such kind of messages are misguiding the person who are really need of a job.. Consumer court should necessarily take some action against them..

                RubiSh airline ever I traveled in my life . Without pre notice the flight got canceled only 25 min before checking time and like always they excused . We had flight from Bangkok to chennai and from chennai to pune with other airline .
                Suddenly at airport we noticed the flight from Bangkok to chennai 3:50 flight no 096 was canceled and they offer us flight from Bangkok to Kolkata which was 5:10 and from Kolkata to chennai which arrival was 14:30 and we lost the flight from chennai to pune which was at 11:45 no one taking responsibility and simply all the land staf in Bangkok was rude .
                After trying to check in to flight no sg084 Kolkata again they told passenger system was done and we wait hours in que to get checked in .
                This was my last flight through air India and spice jet as I had always bad experience about these two airlines

                  Sir as i with my father went to Dubai for Dubai trip. we started on 22nd from Jaipur to Dubai by spice jet but our luggage did not reached in same flight.we got mently tired as our booking peppers and Money was in the luggage.we did not had any cloth to wear..my father got shocked. it was torture of a company to us like playing fraud..I got suffered not only by Money but with mental torture..these flight company plays fraud with tourist..they should be exposed to all social media about their fraud .

                    Morning Flight Del to Blr preponed by 1hr 15 mins. On top of that, their stupid excuse, it is due to "onset of summer season". Did your school teacher not teach you that winter season does not last till April. You had no issues with inviting bookings for april but you can't fly the plane at 6 am because it would be too hot for you. So you decided to prepone it. Bloody cheaters.

                      I booked a ticket for my father from my own debit card account from Abudhabi where i am currently residing .As my father wanted to travel from Pune to Kochi i booked the ticket from my own account.But during the time of travel the authorities of the concenred air authorities told some excuses regarding the ticket and they told as it was taken from abroad they need clarifications or else my father have to pay the fare again .As he was having the money that time he was able to pay the amount .
                      It is not fair that a senior citizen should not be troubled in such a way. If he was not having the money at that time what he will do???? This is really bad.Being a responsible airline you should not treat your customers in such a bad manner atleast to the elderly senior citizens.
                      I am really sorry to say that this type of attitude is really ridiculous.
                      The concerned Flight details is SG 185( PNQ to COK). PNR NUM ; BFKBSR.

                          My in laws (Shekhar and charulata dhawale) travelled on flight sg 154 kochi to mumbai on 17th march and had a miserable experience at mumbai airport... They found out that the baggage bag which they had checked in at kochi had its lock and seal broken... They tried to bring it to the notice of the concerned spicejet staff but nobody gave them a convincing explanation... They then proceeded to spice jet desk but found nobody

                            Spicejet flight sg 514 from kolkata to bangalore on 19-mar-2017 with pnr pdvwtk which was supposed to depart at 6:55am got preponed to 6:05am without proper intimation beforehand. I had reached the counter to collect boarding pass at 5:30am, and i was not allowed to board the flight.

                            I lost my flight booking amount, my travel plan got delayed, and i had to shell out huge amount to book another flight. I want full refund of my booking amount.
                            I had a worst experience from this flight service guys i must tell don't choose spice jet flight for your travel.

                              I had a flight from Gorakhpur to New delhi schedule today at 11:55 am i was at the counter 11:26 and repeatedly requested to let me board because my car was broke and i had an international flight from delhi to italy still they just told me that if i had a web checkin they can allow, They didn't even tried there best just neglected my problem
                              Worst airline and the worst services
                              One of the employee at Gorakhpur spicejet checkin counter - SOBAN AHMED was completely rude to me didn't even gave me 5 minutes to listen my problem.
                              Take action against him or i will file a consumer complaint.
                              Shame on these kind of airlines still operating in India.

                                One of the worst experience today morning, my husband reached counter at 516 am to board Madurai flight SG 3071 scheduled 6.05 am. They did not allow him to check in and board the flight.. he repeatedly informed it's an emergency. At times of critically if the airline can't do the needful then it's absolutely meaningless...Very bad hospitality from staff as well.. the worst part they cannot endorse him name for the next flight and its non refundable as well..

                                  I have travel through Spice Jet from Dubai to Ahmedabad, via SG 16 flight - dated 8-Dec-16 (schedule departure 10.45 pm) Confirmation number A9ETXG, Pax 3 (including infant)

                                  After boarding the flight and 10 minutes after scheduled time of departure, we got intimated for delay in flight for 15 to 20 minutes for some technical and Air condition (AC) issue. There was no announcement for next 45 minutes for delay. After that it was intimated for some 30 minutes delayed and there on no intimation from crew side for next 1.5 hour. After more than 2 hours and 10/15 minutes we were informed to get back to our seats. At that time we had informed to crew that some of our luggage is still on ground. However, there was no serious response from crew. Flight started but next 15 minutes it was on fan only and no AC. For 2.5 hours AC was not working and flight was full.

                                  It was mid night (1 am) but inside lights were completely ON for next 2-3 hours and that did not allowed us to take rest. When we had informed crew to deemed the lights to allow infant to sleep, they informed that once they will finish with food selling, they will do so. This food packet selling was continued throughout the flight.

                                  Flight landed at Ahmedabad on 5.30 am and we rushed to collect our baggage. Out of 4 check in baggages, I got my two small bags and two big bags were still pending. Even after nothing on belt we waited for next load of luggage to come on belt. There was no announcement for missing luggage that they intentionally left at Airport. Neither announcement was made during the flight nor at Ahmedabad Airport for missing luggage.

                                  After waiting for 15 minutes, we realised that our baggages (including other passengers) were left at Dubai Airport. We were not clearly informed about when we will get our bags. We made complaint and submitted that took another hour due to crowd rush and checking. I left Ahmedabad airport around 7.15 am without my main baggages.

                                  There was no immediate compensation provided to us buy necessary stuff.

                                  Instead of going to hospital (the purpose I came down to Ahmedabad), I had to arrange first our normal require things on hand (we had infant with us). Whole priorities were changed. It was extremely painful to manage those stuff with demonetization in India.

                                  We got our remaining bags at 8 pm on 10 Dec 2016.

                                  I do understand and anticipate such scenario comes up but the way it was managed was surprising:

                                  - there was no announcement at schedule departure time;
                                  - after announcement of commitment time, there were no further announcement/ update;
                                  - there was no refreshment when delayed was more than 2 hours;
                                  - AC was not working and were at Dubai Airport for 2.5 hours, why plane was not deboarded (considering old people and infants were on board);
                                  - Being passenger we have informed about luggage on airport (we have seen), no response from crew side;
                                  - Lights were fully ON during the whole flight duration to sell food packets. How infant or anyone can sleep in such atmosphere?;
                                  - At Ahmedabad airport, there was no announcement for missing luggage;
                                  - No immediate compensation was provided to us to buy immediate stuff;
                                  - Staff was not commenting on when will receive our luggage.

                                  I paid such heavy price for one way ticket to support and to be with my family at earliest. However, due to this I was not only delayed but disappointed with the way it was managed.

                                  I have sent an email to Spice Jet customer relation but they are not ready to accept the fact that flight was delayed for more than 2 hours where I have furnished online records of flight status to them as well. I have sent another email to next level of authority - appellate authority in Spice Jet but with surprise there is not single reply from them.

                                  This is pathetic where the highest authority did not bother to acknowledge or reply email.

                                  Looking for action against such airlines and such customer relationship.

                                    Me and my 2 fiends were checking in ( Flight no.SG152- boarding time ( 0650) from Mumbai to Delhi ..gate (A6)
                                    Date:12Mar
                                    Depart 0720
                                    Arrive 0935
                                    Names : Mariam khalil - Mariam abdelhameed - Somaia abdelfattah
                                    to get our flight and all was good then the girl on the checking in desk said that we are not allowed to check in until I showed her the credit card that I have paid with otherwise we can not take our flight or even delay it .. and it's not even right . She wanted us to pay our ticket AGAIN or we will miss our flight . All we want our money back that we paid with VISA CIB bank .. card number

                                      I was suppose to travel from mumbai to belgaum by flight num#SG2647
                                      by gate num 16
                                      i was there before 1:45 boarding time was 14:20 but there was nothing displayed on the screen of gate 16 also there was no one standing at 16gate counter

                                      (already checked on cctv camera as requested to airport police station)
                                      proof:- can be checked in the cctv camera room of airport

                                      these ppl say they shouted for belgaum but i didnt hear
                                      as i was there in the 1st row but still dont knw how come i didnt hear may be i am deaf but i was not blind there was nothing displayed on screen at gate 16 nor anybody was stable at that 16 gate counter and they say they did boarding from counter15(gate 15) as mentioned before can check the cctv footage.
                                      (why no display nor any message, nor anybody standing with the flight num written on the sheet of paper)
                                      as there was one jabalpur flight delayed which was suppose to go b4 belgam n one man told us spice jet is always late... i am sorry i assumed the flight was late but for enquiry there was nobody standing on counter 16

                                        Hi,
                                        I booked a flight from DEL to CCU for 18th Feb under PNR: P615WF and was informed by the airline staff that the flight was closed as I had reported to the check in counter @ 5:15am and the reporting time was 5:10am (delay of 5 mins).

                                        I was charged an additional INR 7826 for the next available flight which was 3 hours later @ 9:20am.

                                        I find it totally unacceptable that I should be charged such a high amount of money for a delay of only 5 mins which was actually spent waiting in the long queue in front of the check in counters.

                                        Also, there were no announcements made regarding the status of the Kol flight (SG263) or any final boarding calls at the check in counter at this time.
