Me and my son recently travelled by Spice Jet Airlines on Jan 24th for the 9:40 AM Flight 1094 from Hyderabad to Tirupathi. The Flight took off and 20 mins after it is in the air, the flight had to return back to Hyderabad due to technical difficulties and we really had no clue whether we will be landing safely, the landing was not smooth as well. Looks like there was an issue with the air pressure. I was so tensed up and couldnt imagine what would happen.
After all this, they tried to fix the plane, after about half an hr, they moved us to another plane and again announced that there is a technical difficulty with this flight as well and they started fixing it, finally after an hour they took of this second plane. A lot of passengers were pissed off and walked of the plane not willing to travel anymore. I was so terrified to travel on the second plane as well, I couldnt trust it anymore, I was so stressed out, the landing was again very bad. This is the worst experience I had in my life and I thought we are going to be gone for good!!

Why wasn't the inspection done before the planes are ready for passengers? What if something went wrong after we travelled half the distance and there is no way to emergency land the plane?!! This is a mere negligence! We went through so much emotional stress during and after plane travel. I am still recovering from the shock. How can I take this further? Is there any apology or compensation that the airlines is going to give us?

    On 26 jan 17 i had a flight from kolkata to bangalore at 1710 hrs.i arrived at the airport 50 min prior to my flight time.i already knew that i might not be allowed to board the flight as i was running late but there was no problem in giving it a try.i got my baggage checked priliminarily then approached towards the counters.a huge n long queue was waiting the turn.now it was 45 min left.there was one gentleman staff who was in a way standing in the corner assisting people(thats what he felt) and NO ANNOUNCEMENTS OR CALL FOR SPEEDING UP FOR THE BOARDING OF FLIGHT to bangalore was done at any moment by any ground staff.so as a passenger i couldnt have broken the queue and barged to any counter without their help automatically.no other passenger would have liked it so i waited.when i came to the counter the ground staff MISS ANKITA MUKHERJEE who was handing over the boarding pass just told me that maam you are late.i told her that please check from ahead if its still possible because i will take the baggage as hand baggage is it possible any way that i can board the flight because for 10 min i was standing in the queue because the time then was 1642 hrs.i requested her if something can be done a call or something.she turned down my request and said nothing can be done which was understandable but then she added NO MAAM YOU WERE NOT STANDING ON THE QUEUE FOR 10 MIN SIR HAS SEEN THAT AND TOLD ME YOU ARE NOT SAYING THE RIGHT THING WE CANNT HELP YOU.
    Now, firstly i understand perfectly for security issues if a passenger is not allowed to boardflight at the last hour but on what ground did she say that i have not been standing in the queue for 10 min which meant i was lying.pl check your cameras.it depicts RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF BEHAVIOUR.
    Secondly she said she has asked SIR for confirmation.now does the ground Staff of Spicejet is trained to carry on their daily work on WORD OF MOUTH of a co employee.are they taught to believe in the TELL TALES.is this the way they are taught to work? If that is so then IT WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOUR.and let me tell you the way Miss Ankita Mukherjee spoke IT WAS DEFAMING.
    Thirdly i also understand that when the flight is missed the passengers are generally angry.so me too.but still i did not misbehave with your staff.IT WAS THEIR RESPONSIBILITY TO ATLEAST ESCORT ME OUT OF THE MAIN GATE.because authorities are aware about the rules but not the passenger who like me had missed the flight for the first time.THEY NEITHER ESCORTED ME, NOR HELPED ME TO FIND MY WAY OUT, THEY WERE NOT EVEN READY TO GUIDE ME AND SPEAK TO ME FURTHER.THEY WERE NOT EVEN READY TO ESTABLISH ANY FACE TO FACE EYE CONTACT AND COMMUNICATE WITH ME.Miss Mukherjee fled from her seat not meeting my eye as if either o[censored]s has committed a huge crime.it was not expected.i can understand not allowing me to board the flight but what was that kind of display of behaviour.she gave a very rude reply on asking her name because i had made up my mind to let the airline know about the grooming of their ground staff which is not a matter to be proud of.
    Fourthly when none of your red uniformed spicejet ground staff help me to find my way out i tried it through the main entry where i was stopped by the CISF guy who explained me that a staff has to escort me out they cannt allow me to go out by the same gate.then i again dragged my baggage to the PRELIM BAGGAGE CHECK place where two gentlemen were sitting.initially they told me to contact the ground crew but when i explained that MISS MUKHERJEE, "SIR" and PARTY is not even ready to communicate with me, fled from counter after defaming me i do not even expect them to help me, escorting me out is a far fledged issue.then MR RAHUL accompanied me and escorted me till the exit.
    All i plan to achieve after narrating the whole story is ABSOLUTE RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONALISM OF SPICEJET GROUND CREW and they specifically should be groomed well on behavioural issues.they are the last point contact between the company and the passengers therefore their impression on the passengers is very important.and in case like mine even if a passenger has missed the flight but the staff is dutybound to help them till the exit but not show the OUTCAST DISOWNING attitude.
    If spicejet considers itself to be a company which does a business but service is its creed then this particular example and behaviour of MISS ANKITA MUKHERJEE is a huge black spot on it.Personally i will choose never to fly with Spicejet henceforth the reason is your ground staff is not well mannered

      I would like to bring to your notice, the difficulties/sad experience faced by me with Spicejet. I had booked a ticket from Chennai to Delhi in Flight # SpiceJet SG-108 on 23rd Jan 2017 @ 19:40 IST - PNR # KCWW7K. As everyone across the world are aware, Chennai was experiencing a very worse situation from the morning on that day - something which had never happened in the history of Chennai - Riots and chaos all over the city and long queue of vehicles piled up for more than 50 kilometers.

      Due to this unavoidable situation, I got delayed and wasn’t able to reach the airport on time to board the flight.

      Moreover, I had a very bitter experience with the Spicejet staff at the airport and over the phone when contacted the Corporate Office, they were very unethical and failed to respond to my subsequent calls seeing my number. I never expected such a rude behavior towards your customer. They also hung up on me while I was talking over the phone.

      All that I asked for was a RESCHEDULE and not a refund but none of the staff were even willing to give a proper reply.

      While we have many service providers providing daily flights from Chennai to Delhi, since I have been regularly flying by Spicejet, I always prefer Spicejet over others.

      Kindly help me to get this issue fixed as soon as possible.

        I am enroll for spice club membership paid of |Rs. 599 and they told us that i am getting 01 free ticket on birthday (24.01.2017) and couple ticket 50% off but i am not received any emil regarding this. 2 days ago i am sending mail to [protected]@spicejet.com but no reply received from them.

        Pl. look into this matter and solve my problem

          Dear sir/Madam
          I want to know regarding check-in-baggage bcz first time i booked my ticket online and when i received my ticket i saw class is not mention in my air ticket as
          well as there is also no mention for my check-in-luggage.how much kg i can carried in this ticket bcz i have 18-20 kg luggage in check-in.

            I have booked my connecting flight from Chandigarh to Ahmedabad as above they have changed my flight from Chandigarh to Delhi at 5:20 PM landing Delhi at 6:30 so that we cannot catch the connecting flight without my concern and they are not co-operating or helping me to provide the connecting flight from Delhi to Ahmedabad. They are giving me flight on 25th instead of 23rd and not giving me any compensation and they have the flight from Delhi to Ahmedabad but they are not ready to reschedule the connecting flight and they are leaving us the Half way. They are telling me to stay for 2 nights in Delhi without providing the accommodation.

            The team told me to provide the partial refund of 543 Rs per person " WHAT A JOKE".

            If they are rescheduling the one flight then they should have reschedule the connecting flight as well but they want do not want to do that and keep us in the half way.

            WHAT A MISS MANAGEMENT

            Causing the issue and trouble to the customers even they have the connections available.

              We have booked flight from HYD-BOM-UDR on 12th Feb'17

              Flight details:

              1. HYD-BOM (Jetairways)- 9:20 AM to 10:50 AM
              2. BOM-UDR (Spice jet- SG 422, PNR-D4KMHF)- 1:15 PM to 2:30 PM

              The booking was done on 29th Nov'16 ( two and half months prior to fly). Now after 48 days from date of booking i got a mail saying SpiceJet SG422 flight got cancelled.

              We have called customer service and Mr Abhikesh has not given any alternative for same day (12th Feb).

              We have to attend the marriage on 12th Feb evening in Udaipur. So we have to be there in Udaipur on or before 12th Feb'16.

              We have given alternative option to Fly on 11th Feb'16 from Hyderabad (Since we have to forgo jetairways flight on 12th Feb'16)

              As we are group of 8 people (6 Adults, 2 childs). There is no point in taking refund as it will be huge burden on us to book other flight after 48 days of booking spice Jet

              Since there is no fault from us, request you to kindly arrange flight from BOM-UDR on 12th feb (after 1:00 PM, since we have flight from HYD-BOM in the morning). Or else kindly arrange alternative flight from Hyderabad to Udaipur on 11th Feb'16 with same amount.

                I am calling your company from two days and telling them to send me the email of my flight tickets they are telling me that they will send but they are not sending and are also telling that they will send us our flight tickets and itneary. And I also request you to open the Web check in at least one week before the flight departures. It's better to go in indigo airlines as they open the Web check in before 2_3 weeks before the flight departure. And they also give immediate response. It's a request to you to see about it and I should get a positive response from your side

                  Reason for taking the trip:urgency due to death of a intimate person n had to reach by the funeral hours

                  Even though on reaching the spicejet boarding gate 30 minutes prior to the scheduled flight time, i was denied by tge staff member mr. Himanshu mandaliya
                  For handing me over the boarding pass saying i was late... I asked them to wrire the late areival time n hand me over tge boarding pass still the staff had not responded for that.... And this idiotic pathetic person mr. Himanshu mandaliya had been really rude and arrogant in his behavior...
                  Spice jet authorities should recruite well educated personell as airport staff and not just put any damn # on the airport coordinators... Worst airlines worst services...
                  M nt even sure if this complaint that public post are even taken into consideration but great improvement is required.

                    I was travelling on 11th on spice jet from chennai to Bagdogra PNR P9USSW.
                    In their urge to be on time, I was denied Boarding on the above flight even though I reached the boarding gate on time. Flight time 10.25 hrs. I reached the gate at 10.00 hrs ( they as for being at gate 20 min before departure).
                    Even though three staff were available at gate they denied me boarding . I asked the to acknowledge my boarding pass with time of my arrival at gate but they refused and just mentioned cancelled in my boarding pass. The spice jet staff had called me at 10.00 to check whether i am boarding. within a minute i was at the gate as i was on the escalator when i received the call.
                    As boarding was denied, i had to cancell my trip as there was no flight again on same day.

                      I had booked Spicejet Air tkts through MMT from Hyderabad To Tirupathi & Back for 12th Dec-2016.(SG-1041 & SG-1042)
                      On 12th Dec-16 though the flight had a delayed departure, it took off from hyderabad & returned back to hyderabad without landing at Tirupathi, due to bad weather.(Cyclone forecast by metrological dept). Further I had got a message from Spicejet, on my Cell phone informing CANCELLATION of the return flight SG-1042 on the same day. On querying with the spicejet officials, my boarding was endorsed by them & was informed that the both the fares would be refunded within fifteen days.
                      However till date neither the Money has been deposited in my account nor has any update been communicated.
                      Request to resolve the issue on PRIORITY immediately as my substantial money is blocked with you.
                      Your prompt confirmation on the receipt of this complaint & action initiated would be highly appreciated.

                        I am surprised to note the parrot like repeated mechanical answers from SpiceJet Nodal Officer and Appellate Officer. I don’t know to whom you made the refund of Rs 5903.00 and and its basis. Who requested for this partial refund? The amount due is Rs. 8593.00. Anyway I have not received any amount so far.

                        You are requested to ensure refund of Rs 8593.00 at the earliest.

                        Even after several reminders SpiceJet is just giving parrot like repeated mechanical answers. I have not received any amount so far. Urgently require refund of Rs 8593.00

                        Could not travel due to the sad incident of expiry of my father on that day. The inhuman airline kept utter silence for several days. Now they are saying full refund is given to the agent and contact them. Agent is saying to contact Spice jet.

                        Both the airline and their agent seems to be competing each other to make money even by using dead body of human beings...

                          We had a flight on 12.01.17 of departure time 3:20pm of spice jet from Delhi(economy class), We gave 7 luggages for shipping but after reaching Guwahati we got only 6 luggages. We contacted the authorities but they just took our phone number and email address and told us that they will contact us. Even after repeated calling (by us as they were not calling) there every single one picking up the phone is telling that "I will call you back in 5 minutes" but no ever did call back us again. The loss of the luggage is a sole responsibility of spicejet and they are ignoring this issue. Last time we contacted them they told that they can't do anything for our loss?! How ridiculous is this ?

                            I'm Indian passport holder and resident of Canada traveling from Kochi to Dubai on SpiceJet flight SG17 on 28 Dec 2016 with my minor daughter. I was on a tourist visa to Dubai and did not have a local Dubai number. Due to fog in DXB the flight, due to land at 2.30am was diverted to Fujairah, which is approximately 2 hours by road from Dubai. The captain informed us that we were delayed and will be send back once the ATC gives clearance. Despite being a full flight all passengers were stuck inside a stuffy aircraft, provided water only on request, coffee at the rate of DH10 per cup, until 8am in the morning. There was some croissants and juice provided at that time. There was no way we could charge phones, connect to Wifi nor make local calls. At approx 8am a new captain comes on board and announces that we could disembark if we would like to do so. Many passengers left. About 80 passengers refused to disembark as the cost of taxi fare to Dubai is approximately DH275. When we asked the crew why we cannot be provided a bus they said they do not have an operation in Fujairah. This is 2 hours driving distance from Dubai. When we got agitated they said that they cannot get any bus service as all buses were booked by other airlines that got similarly stranded at different airports close to Dubai. The Captain constantly announced that there will be further delays to travel back to Dubai. We said we are happy to wait as we would spend the same two-hours in a safe place rather than travelling in an unknown place, with spurious taxi drivers and fog situations. However, the crew was not willing offer any solutions but were behaving as if they want to get rid of the passengers at the airport. The tone was there will be huge delays, it is better you get off, we don't know when we will be able to take off to Dubai. After failing to make any headway with the crew who were making apologies but not offering any solutions I tied up with another passenger to share a ride to Dubai. On disembarking I find that the entire luggage had already been offloaded. Therefore, it was clear that the crew was simply trying to get rid of the passengers and not keeping to the promise of flying us/transporting passengers to the correct destination Dubai. They were making false excuses. We also came to know that few Emirati/locals were provided transport before every other passenger mostly Indian nationals from Kerala. There were few foreign nationals who I'm sure were also provided royal treatment. What is the risk policy of Spice Jet? We were not stranded in an unknown desert or mountain! Is it not the airlines responsibility to get passengers to their promised destination? Is it normal for Spice Jet to let people off with lame excuses that they do not have operation at an airport? Are passengers expected to have an operation at an unknown airport and do they have to fend for themselves? Every one of the families have spend close to DH300 to reach home. Not to mention the wasted hours. I reached home at noon, almost 10 hours after the scheduled arrival time because of the carelessness of the Spice Jet crew. Many passengers who were due to join work on Thursday lost 3 days salary because of the callousness of Spice Jet. Who is answerable to the miseries of passengers like myself and many more who will be left stranded at different airports because Spice Jet DOES NOT HAVE ANY RESPONSIBILITY TO DELIVER ITS PASSENGERS AT THE PROMISED DESTINATION EVEN DURING EMERGENCY SITUATIONS?
                            I booked my ticket from Bangalore to guwahati on 11 jan2017 by spice jet and delayed by 5 min for that reason your staff BOBBY talk to me so rudely and didn't allow me to board. All the ground staffs Have no manner for their passengers.

                              I have travelled almost 30 hrs straight from Midwest USA and had unfortunately got a spicejet flight which is 6 hrs after my international journey. Just to be clear and completely honest I am happy with spicejet flight that it was on time and on schedule.

                              My main issue is the bad more like worst customer service I received from the person at the counter who I had a misfortune of interacting. He was so condescending and maybe he saw me more like a machine rather than a lady who had just travelled alone for 30 hrs straight to visit a sick relative making last minute bookings in less than a week.
                              So my problem was I was on the assumption that spice jet gives 15 kgs free for anyone having connecting international flight in less than 24 hrs on top of 15 kgs they already paid. I would have probably would have been fine if he gave me some time to process that there's no such thing and have to pay up. When I said I saw online could you please pull up on google the spicejet policy he said he doesn't have internet access. I asked he can maybe pull up on his phone he was dismissive. So finally on my phone I was able to pull up he said what exactly I understood as if I am RETARDed person ... so whoever u are mr. Assole, there is some thing called karma and remember not all customers are dumb they just have sometimes tooo much to deal with ... I honestly didn't mind paying, I finally paid 6500rs for extra weight which was not the problem... my problem is people in my own home country are so unkind and total aholes and Have no human factor... what kind of customer service is this ... also Spicejet please consider for people traveling international 20-30 hrs who would want to deals with Kgs and all that BS ... I am not buying eggplants or tomatoes or potatoes.:. Why not make it simple at least for people connecting with international flights ... by just going with extra checked 23 kgs bag .. so& so price ... we as a country have long ways to go ... maybe simple things can make big changes in long run ... peace

                                I want to raise my voice against #spicejet . I booked a ticket through my debit card at Indira Gandhi International Airport ticket counter and at the same place it was canceled on Dec 10th. The gentleman sitting at the counter asked me to call and give my bank details at #spicejetcustomercare which I did right there, he then informed me that the amount of Rs. 19, 249 would reflect in my bank account within 9-10 working days. Which didn't...

                                I, Vijay Malpani, was flying vide above said flight (Boarding pass copy enclosed). When I got back my bag at IGI airport Delhi, I found that my bag has been cut by someone and many items had been stolen from bag. The value of stolen item is around Rs . 25, 000 ( Rupees twenty five thousand only). I had made a complaint on airport to your duty manager and I was told with in three days airline staff will contact me (Complain receipt copy enclosed) but till now I have nothing heard from your side.

                                  I had a flight today at 5.50 am from Delhi to Ahmedabad. Due to some reasons I reached the airport late. I received the boarding pass at 5.15 am and the boarding time was 5.20am.
                                  I quickly rushed to the security check. But no attendant from the flight company was present there to quickly move me ahead of the queue. I tried on my own to quickly move through the queue, changed queue to proceed with the security gate on time, but it took a lot of time to do it considering the rush.
                                  I would like to understand, in case of last minute issue of boarding pass, is there no ascorting done by company attendents from the time boarding pass is generated so as to quickly make the passanger reach the boarding gate ? Or it is the responsibility and headache of the passanger to manage the queue event Because what I know is that inspire of being late, I would have easily made it to the flight if I would have been assisted by while the security check. I was struggled to get the security check done first by moving from queue to queue or cutting the queue to reach ahead, but it all took more than 15 mins. I finally managed to reach the boarding gate at 5.39 am and then I was not allowed to board the flight as I got late. There were 6-7 other passengers also with me, who also missed the flight due to the same reason of delay at security check.
                                  I would want the company to refund my ticket amount as had I been assisted, I would have catched the flight. Please address my query and revert.

                                    Delayed flight rude staff insult to the passengers asking for reasons
                                    We have booked the spicejet flight SG530 from MAA to PNQ today 30th December 2016 but it has been delayed by 1 hour.

                                    Due to this my trip has been altered which is causing me financial losses which I would want spicejet to bear.

                                    I understand that the breakfast is normally chargeable inside the flight but the flight was delayed by one hour and we have not been provided with a free breakfast either.

                                    We had to land in Pune and then had our breakfast. Being under medication, it was very frustrating and I had giddiness and was about to fall down couple of times.

                                    I am not happy with the response received from Harish Singh and Mohammad Javed from Spicejet customer service team.

                                    The ground staff Zaid from Spicejet also used abusive words in Hindi.

                                    Let me ask you - Will you as a customer tolerate such humiliation, insult, rude, embarrassment to the core from a service provider? What will you do in such a situation?

                                    I am looking forward for the Appellate Authority to kindly look into this issue and revert to me the next steps/actions. Have emailed to Appellate Authority, Spicejet.

                                      I was travelling from Goa to Mumbai on 25th December, 2016. I was carrying 2 bottles of liquor and one of them broke. It was wrapped and cushioned appropriately from all ends, the bag even had a FRAGILE TAG on it.
                                      Clearly it was not taken care of properly, the FRAGILE TAG was definitely ignored. Its not only that the bottle broke, but also that it stained all the cloths that were in my bag.
                                      This was not expected out of a air line which has a good service record. Made my christmas very merry. Thanks a lot.
                                      I'm Parul Munshi I booked a flight Delhi to Mumbai thn because of sum reasons I cancelled that flight on next day i e 03rd Dec and till now I'm getting any single amount of refund. No one is helping me I mailed or called so many times to your customer care team but didn't get any response. I'll not go with this company ever.
