I booked a ticket from SpiceJet to fly from new delhi to kolkata on 16/12/2014 but could not travel as the flight was cancelled, so the airport said that the money would be returned in full from th SpiceJet and the amount would be credited to the party's account from which the payment was made, but it has been more than a month since the flight was cancelled but did not receive any refund from SpiceJet nor from the Yatra.com from which I booked my flight. Yatra.com says that they are unable to process the refunds as the SpiceJet did not refund the ticket prices so we need to wait. I am loosing my patience as they are not even going to pay the intrest for the ticket prices. Please help me out.

    Hi All, I'm not sure if you value your customer. May be Spicejet as company does, but your customer service doesn't at all. Here is what happened on call this morning. I called your customer service to inform that while booking my ticket online (which was from Pune to Delhi on 19th Feb and return was suppose to be on 23rd Feb) by mistake I choose the 23rd Mar as a return date. I realized it when I got the itinerary in mail yesterday night. So I called this morning at 8:00 am - 21st Jan to request to change the date, your customer service Yogesh Gulia was extremely rude and informed me that there is a fee to change it which is 1500 Plus I have to pay for the fare difference. Which is understood and I was ready to pay 1500 + the fare difference. Additionally the nodal and appellate authority numbers given in the website were deemed fake by the Customer Service, the attached photograph shows the numbers given in the website. He quoted that I have to pay the total amount of 3800 extra to make all the changes. I told him that when I check the tickets for 23rd Feb it just cost me 500 extra plus 1500 which was almost 2000 only. I asked him why do I have to extra to you. He very rudely replied that I HAVE TO (and I was really did I do that kind of a sin that I have pay another 2000 extra for just entering the incorrect date), when I asked for a manager he said he can't transfer the call. Now, here the deal I was able to make changes on the website and I had to pay only 2000 extra. My question is: - If this was an option, which could have helped me to save 1800, why was it not given to me by your representative? I was okay to pay 1500 plus for the fare difference but he was very rude in his replies. - Why was he suppose to go that rude for NOT knowing the correct way to guide the customer? If I wouldn't have figured that out myself I would have end up paying more. If this is what is growing as a culture for your organization. I feel sorry for your future business. Regards, Priyanka S

        My dad chandrasekaran booked 4 tickets to port blair from chennai on 12/8/2014.Due to personal reasons we cancelled the tickets on 12/12/2014.We have not yet received refunds and our pleas have fallen in deaf ears.We are severely inconvenienced by this lackadaisical attitude of spice jet.We tired the customer care no. but in vain.We are at a loss and we dont know how to get back our hard earned money.

          I had booked SpiceJet Flight no 313 through "makemytrip.com", from Chennai to Kochi for travel on 23.12.2014. PNR No G7UD99 . Amount Rs 6391/- But due to crisis in airlines, Spicejet had announced in the newspapers that all the flights to Kochi are Cancelled till 31.12.2014. Hence I cancelled my ticked and booked in another airlines. I had applied for refund of the amount. Till date I have not received the refund. Kindly let me know the status of the refund.           I booked a Hyd-Del round trip in Dec, 2014. I cancelled the tickets and have not received the refund yet.
          It’s been more than a month, there has been no response to my Emails.
          It’s so difficult to reach out to Spicejet’s customer care service, I am put on hold for hours and the customer care representative never turns out. I’m tired of listening to the Spicejet song.

          Finally when I managed to speak to one, he said the refund process was initiated and the refund will be received in 8-10 days. Its been over 20 days now.

          I’m highly disappointed with the services, and will never make the mistake of booking a Spicejet flight.

          The above flight got cancelled due to heavy fog at Delhi Airport. I was at the airport and after the announcements and a call from the airline that this flight has been cancelled, I had to take another flight.

          I booked this flight through MakeMyTrip.com and they are saying the SpiceJet is denying the refund because this was not a cancelled flight but a No-SHOW, which was not the case. I got an SMS regarding cancellation and announcements at airport that the flight has been cancelled.

          I have also attached the screen shot of the message I received for the flight cancellation. Requesting you to please resolve this at the earliest and process the refund for the same.

          I am writing in because SPICEJET is not providing the refund as committed neither any Satisfactory information about the complaint.

          My SPICEJET Complaint no is 348413.

          I have made a booking with the PNR no B731VZ.

          While booking the ticket for 3 people the transaction got declined and I got the error message that It was declined so I made that transaction from the different card. Now I was charged on both the cards for 1 ticket.

          Transaction Details are:

          35 days has already been passed and I have not got the refund yet. SPICEJET customer service is saying that they have processed the refund on 6 June 2015. But they are not providing the details how the refund has been initiated and on which card.

          Request you to please look in to matter and close this as soon as possible.

            I had booked a ticket through Make my trip on Tue, 20th Jan 2015 to fly to Mumbai (BOM) from Belgaum (IXG) on 26th Jan 2015. Booking ID:NF[protected], Flight No.SG 2456. PNR: NYQNVQ
            But, on Mon, 26th as I was nearing Belgaum from my native ( which is about 250 kms) at 10.04 am I received a message from AD-SPICEJ informing me that the flight has been cancelled. I neither had any other flights nor could get a train which caused much inconvenience, both physical & mental strains as I had to travel whole night by a bus. In addition, though I had requested for refund on the same day (26.01.15), I have neither received refund nor any communication till today.
            Pl resolve this early
            I had Booked a flight for 24 Jun 2015 from Pune to kathmandu SG182/SG41 PNR M1DWYB . the flight was cancelled from their side 2 weeks prior the date. I want my money back. The sum is 13, 328 Irs. I m not happy with the service that spicejet provides. If this is the thing then I will never ever in my life book a flight from this airway. Simply unacceptable. I m a student From Nepal Studying In pune . plz make an eye over this issue

              This is regarding PNR number PBP9QN. I had booked my ticket for travel date 24-Dec-2014 from Mumbai to Varanasi via Delhi. SpiceJet cancelled the Delhi to Varanasi flight so I had to cancel my entire journey. I had cancelled my tickets on 5-Dec-2014 and it has been more than a month and I haven't received the refund. On multiple follow ups with SpiceJet customer care on phone I was told that the money refund is initiated on 4-Jan-15 but I haven't received the refund to date. Later follow ups I was told that it will take 10 days from 4-Jan-15 to get the refund and it should get credited by 16-Jan-15. But still I haven't. I called on 17-Jan-15 to Spicejet and I was given reference number 57517439 for the refund and was advised to follow up with my bank. And ofcorse I followed up with my bank (HDFC) and I was told there is no refund on this tranasction id. I am clueless and helpless on why the refund is taking so much time. Please help me in getting the refund amount of INR18, 644/- back from SpiceJet.

                Hello, I had booked a flight for 27 Jan’2015 SG-106 Mumbai to Delhi (9:05 am) with PNR- PCGFHK.(Enclosed Booking details) I had received a message stating that "Your Flight SG-452 dated 27-Jan-15 from Mumbai to Delhi has been changed to SG-851 with departure time 05:55 AM" But I had never booked SG-452 at the first place(refer to attached mail) My flight number was SG-106. Since my original flight SG-106 (Mumbai to Delhi 9:05am, refer to attached ticket) has been changed to SG-851( Mumbai to Delhi, Departure 5:55 am). They have pre-poned my flight to 3 hours and since I have a connecting flight, I cant accomodate this change.As per SpiceJet's policies, if the changed duration is more than 90 minutes one can opt for cancellation. Now I want to cancel this flight and dropped multiple mails to them, called them like 10 times in a day. Call centres are not answering the phone, neither I am getting appropriate replies on my mails. Every time I get this in reply " 1. They may cancel the reservation and take full refund on request back to the original mode of payment." But how to cancel them when no one is answering the calls.Whom one is supposed to contact ? Even Apellate Authority and Nodal Officers not picking phones or replying to the mails. This is a real harassment of customers. I am really troubled, my plan is jeopardized plus I am tired of following up with them which is totally in vain !

                  This complaint is regarding PNR Y4DSFV I have booked the ticket on 31 August 2014 for bangalore to Mumbai and back to Bangalore when the flight got cancelled, I called customer care on 31st December and asked them to refund my money Today when I called them they are telling that they have reverted my money on 4th Jan. When I asked about the transition ID they refused to give me, when I asked them to put my phone to seniors they even refused to do so. But the fact is that I have not received any money in my account I have sent an email now to Nodal Office and Appellate Office and waiting what they have to say.

                    I had booked a ticket on Spicejet for my daughter from Delhi to Hyderabad on Tue 16 Dec, 2014 on flight no. SG229 (booking date:01 Dec, 2014, PNR No: M8THJG). On 15 Dec 2014, an SMS was received by my daughter informing the cancellation of the flight SG229 from Delhi to Hyderabad. We tried to contact Spicejet on the given customer care numbers, but could not be contacted. With frantic efforts, my daughter managed to get a ticket on JetAirways to Hyderabad from Delhi. Subsequently I sent a mail on 16 Dec, 2014 to Spicejet ([protected]@spicejet.com) demanding immediate refund of the ticket amount of Rs.6, 673.00, but received nothing other than an automated reply. A remainder also brought out no response from Spicejet. I also tried to apply for refund on cancelled flights using the link on spicejet website, but the response I get says "the flight was not cancelled".                       Why rescheduled the flight from different city ? Do you expect us to travel to different city to catch your flight. I want you to cancel this if you cant arrange the flight from the Hubli to Bangalore, Ang give me the full refund or arrange the flight from Hubli to Bangalore. If I dont hear from you within two about this I am going to forward this to Civil aviation ministry and drag you to court for this behavior.                           Sir, I booked a spicejet flight from Amritsar to Mumbai for 12 Dec 2014 via make my trip. But due to some reasons the flight got cancelled. I had to then take the other flight at much elevated prices. I was assured that the amount will be refunded within 30 days but i have not received my amount till now. I also mailed spicejet few days back, in turn i got the automated reply assuring they will get back soon but noone replied. I again sent the mail on 12/01/2015 and agian got the automated reply. I would like to file for compensation for the extra burden i had to bear and the delay in processing the refund procedure.

                            I have booked a flight for my parents Dtd. Jan 25th, 14 but the same is been cancelled due to some operational reasons. I have not got the refund till date due to which I feel my money is getting blocked. I tried calling on customer care number but it is not answerable also I am not able to use the facility of change/refund on the website.. I have also mailed on the customer support website but no response have been received.. Very bad customer response from Spice Jet..                               Dear Sir, This is with respect to PE1W8E. The mentioned ticket is cancelled one day before the date of travel because Spice Jet informed me the flight is rescheduled due operational issue. Rescheduled timing was not at all acceptable so it was cancelled and Spice Jet representative promised I will get full refund for the same within 15 days. So far I received only 30% of the cost and it is been One month I am trying to contact their call centre which seems not working or not getting connected. I waited this long and I lost my patience and decided to put up complain here. Request you Pls help me in getting my money back.

                                  Hi Sir, I had my travel plan for March and i have booked return tickets for 5th march and 9th march in advance on 17th Sep 2014. PNR # B4UJJP. As spice jet was running some scheme.. Recently i have read in newspaper that Civil aviation authority has asked Spice jet to refund money, wherein they have done booking for more than one month. Spice Jet people are not replying on my mails and no one picks call in call center also. Pls help me in getting my money back. Snigdha

                                    Hi My PNR no was X5E9HS and my travel date was 24 december 2014. Spice jet cancelled my flight from delhi to lucknow on 14 december due to operational issue. now it is more than a month they still not given the refund. Kindly help. Regards Saurabh [protected]

                                      Dear Sir, My PNR is U3KCKI Spicejet flight from Mumbai TO Chennai.. My actual flight while booking is Jan 13 2015 at 8.30pm. Few months before they rescheduled at 10.30pm on same day. On jan 13 afternoon they again rescheduled to 11.50pm. While checking in at 10.30pm, they again rescheduled to Jan 14 2015 at 12.50am. At 11.30pm, they again rescheduled to Jan 14 2015 at 01.50am. We all Passengers are starving without any idea and no proper response from Spicejet representatives and they are also not sure about timings till now.. We all dono whether we ll reach Chennai or not.. I'm raising this compliant at 12.20am. Pls provide a proper compensation for all frustrated passengers.

                                        Dear Sir/Madam, I normally don’t get too irritated regarding moderately delayed flights. However, the hassle I experienced was just unacceptable. I have booked a ticket of SpiceJet Flight against PNR No UDLJWX of dated 13.09.14 from Delhi to Mumbai timing at 18:55 Pm, however to my sudden shock i got a SMS from the airline on the same day at 3.00PM on a very short notice stating the flight has been delayed due to Operation reasons and the reschedule timing was 19:50PM almost a hour’s delay. Then after i called up the Spicejet Customer care and said I have some commitments and i have to be there on time so i have booked the flight 18:55PM and this is unacceptable. Either you refund my money so that i can book another flight or reschedule to me to the earlier flight but the earlier flight was at 17:20PM which is impossible for the airline itself to manage and the matter was not taken seriously and only said as per policy nothing can be done and you have to bear the Cancellation Charges of Rs 1500/- in case you cancel. I requested many times to the customer care to do the needful either of or options given above, but they paid no attention to this. Who is responsible for such things due to Spice Jet Airline mistake why the Customer should suffer and at least some adjustment would have been done for the same. Earlier also in the Past Spice jet airline has delayed the flight and the same was almost 1 and 1/2hours delay dated 27th July from Delhi to Mumbai. What is use of their Punch line Logo On time Guarantee that is useless/Meaningless – The Punch line is misguiding to the Customer becoz everytime there is something or the other thing problems with the Airline. This is still in continuation the problems with this Spice Jet airline has still not over and is creating a Mental Pressure to an human being. Again my Fiancée with whom i will be shortly in a relationship had face worst situation of her life. She had booked a Spice Jet flight against PNR No JCRFUX dated 18th Sept, 2014 timing18:55 Pm for my birthday present, however the msg had given by the airline the flight has been cancelled due to Operational Reasons and they had given an option for 20:10PM. When she reached the airport after waiting for sometime, they made an announcement Flight is further delayed due to Operational Reasons and the reschedule timing will be 20:50 PM and finally the flight take off was 21:05PM and landed at 23:10PM. Being a Girl reaching very late in Delhi City, coming out at almost 12:00 Midnight from the airport due to airline mistake is it acceptable??? and Metro train local as well as Aero Express after 23.30PM are unavailable and had left only an option to book a cab in the Midnight. She had to go mentally pressure and she was so disturbed about this and i had to make her convinced for the same and be with her over the telephone. Hope you might be aware about the recent incidents has happened in Delhi, if God forbid any incident would had happened who would have been responsible for the same?????. For the Male it is fine but for the Female is really risky and unacceptable due to Airlines Mistake any one would suffer in future. I humble request you to take strict action against the Spice Jet airline and do some justice to us.
