We have confirmed booking on Spicejet flight SG 235 dated 25-Dec-2014 (from Delhi to Hyderabad) . This got cancelled due to the recent developments. PNR number is U93BPW. So far there is no communication from SpiceJet in this regard. We came to know all these developments through news papaers. Tried to contact customercare to check on this. The numers are continuously engaged. No luck until today. Sent 2 emails to customercare. No response!! First of all Spicejet created all these hardships to the passengers. On top of that they donot have the courtesy in informing the current situation and what they can do. Really a pathetic situation I have to book an alternate flight myself paying double the amount! Hope atleast they refund my ticket amount CG Rayudu

I have booked three tickets for flights from Kolkata to Agartala (both ways) for travel on 20th and 21st for inward journey and return on 29th December 2014 by SpiceJet Flight SG 817 and SG 872 (PNR-VCR9HK & VCR9HK respectively). SpiceJet has sent us SMS to the effect that our onward flight SG 817 on 20th and 21st December are cancelled. But the return flight is not though it is rescheduled. If we are not able to go, how can we come back? I have twice send email to SpiceJet customer service for alternative onward flight on 20th or 21st December or cancellation of all our tickets (six in all) and refund the total money; but there is no repose except the routine auto-reply. They are also not refunding the amount. Also when I look at PNR-A8UVFD status online, I could see SpiceJet is charging Rs.6000/ for cancellation. How could this fee be charged on customer if there is no flight service? We want full amount/travel fare be refunded to my account. Please expedite the process. Address: New Delhi, Delhi

To Whomsoever It May Concern, I have had the most horrible experience with SpiceJet. You would imagine that a company that is on the brink of closure would try and salvage some of its reputation, but that certainly doesn't seem to be the case. On 13th October 2014 My husband and I booked 2 return tickets from Delhi to Goa on the SpiceJet website, leaving on the 26th of December, 2014 and returning on the 29th of December, 2014. We paid INR 37, 378 for the tickets and the amount was deducted from our account immediately. We never received any email confirmation of the tickets (or ANY intimation whatsoever from SpiceJet thereafter) and around 10 days ago, I finally decided to try follow up. It was clearly our fault for thinking we could rely on the company and trusting that our tickets would actually come through. After roughly 10 calls to the customer service center (when I spent cumulatively more than 1.5 hours on the hold to GET to a customer agent, without success), I finally tried submitting requests via email as well as via the form on the SpiceJet website. Of course, I received no replies. After trying for the umpteenth time, we finally managed to get through to two customer service people today [Naina Kapoor and Ritika]. They informed us that our reservation was for 26th-29th November, not December. Clearly, since they have no record of any email ever being sent out to us, there is literally no way to figure out whether it was actually an error made by us (which is highly doubtful since we are both extremely careful about these things) or a system error, or merely a fabrication on the part of SpiceJet. All that these two women did was put us on hold repeatedly, after which we were told to "write to the CR dept". On asking to speak to the supervisor (REPEATEDLY) -- some mythical gentleman by the name of Mr. Ashok Kumar --- we were informed that the call was NOT TRANSFERABLE (in a CALL CENTER, mind you, calls are apparently not transferable!). They refused to provide any direct contact details for this supposed supervisor. And when asked for their Agent IDs, both these people refused to provide them as well. Finally, after about 45 minutes of being put on hold repeatedly (with tempers flaring on both sides), the calls were cut by the agents in question. The irony is that I don't think these idiotic call center respondents even realize that when they cut the call, the system takes you to a point where it asks you to enter an Agent ID! To summarize, the whole experience has been beyond terrible. I realize that since SpiceJet is going down the drain, you want to maximize on your revenues... but why make money off the people like us who have been patrons of the airline? And the quality of "customer service", as you call it, is simply abysmal. Not only do we feel extremely cheated because our money is lost, its also the inexcusable rudeness of the SpiceJet people that is so very disheartening. Of course, I fully expect that nothing will come of me writing this. But I felt it was needed. Honestly, I see why the airline is drowning. And it is well deserved indeed. Never again SpiceJet, never again. Riti.

I have booked flight from Hyderabad to Vishakhapatnam (both ways) for travel on 14 and 15 of December 2014 with PNR-A8UVFD. Due to Supreme Court order SpiceJet cancelled our booking. We have received below communication from Spice jet: “Dear SpiceJet customer (PNR-A8UVFD): Your flight … has been cancelled due to operational reasons. We regret the inconvenience caused. Please call [protected] / [protected] to be re-booked on an alternate flight.” I have contacted customer service and the have informed me that they refund the amount as there is not flight service being provided from Hyderabad to Vishakhapatnam and vice versa. I have not received full refund amount yet. Also when I look at PNR-A8UVFD status online, I could see SpiceJet is charging Rs.6000/ for cancellation. How could this fee be charged on customer if there is no flight service provided? I would like full amount/travel fare be refunded to my account. Please expedite the process.

Wish to refer various complaints registered online as well as thru' mail. 1. It's unfortunate to place on record that absolutely there is NO RESPONSE from customer relationship(?) dept., for the mail which has been sent. You are hereby advised to instruct the concerned to refund the full amount. 2. Wish to place it on record that none of your customer care numbers viz.,[protected] &[protected] are reachable & as per the automated message from the service provider indicates as if both the numbers are disconnected. 3. Even your nodal officer number[protected] guides the customers to NOWHERE. Automated system asks for desired extension and goes for a costly music indefinitely and there is NO ONE to respond to the call. Wish to inform you that I had to pay a heavy price for booking on alternate flight for the journey. Hence, you are advised to take suitable measures to refund full amount with penal interest from the date of booking of the ticket along with the suitable compensation for the loss & mental torture. Due to the ongoing problems and to that effect we have recieved a SMS regarding cancellation of flights, we had cancelled PNR VCDGXN, reference number[protected]. But till date, 09th December, 2014, we had not recieved the deducted amount. Also, it seems that we should get the full amount since it is the esteemed organisation problems that has forced us to cancel tickets. Maybe they can also arrange for alternative flights for the similar date. Kindly look into the matter at the earliest

Our Delhi to Guwahati and return flights were booked almost 4 months in advance for November '14. I wanted to make sure that I get the best rates by booking well in advance. Our flight to Guwahati was re-scheduled twice and then was cancelled. No email was sent regarding cancellation=[] \. I took the e-ticket print from their website on the day of travel (it too did not mention about the flight status). When I reached the airport I was told the flight's cancelled. We're put in the other flight for the next day. But they did not compensate me for the travel from and to the airport. Now, SpiceJet cancelled my Delhi bound flight as well. And I had to book fresh tickets for 4 o[censored]s in a different Airline, as I did not want SpiceJet to re-schedule our flight for another day. Also, I can't rely on their services anymore. But making alternate arrangements for the whole family have costed my nearly INR 20000 extra. What I expect is SpiceJet to reimburse me the amount I lost because of their poor service?

Address: Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh

This refers to my Delhi - Dubai flight which became the beginning of a terrible experience with Spice jet.

After landing at Dubai when i received my baggage, my Samsonite bag was badly damaged, handle and zippers were broken and bag was badly torn out from the sides.

I approached the baggage counter at the airport and wasted an hour for completing formalities to lodge a complaint (refer slip attached ) and i was not getting any satisfactory reply, rather a phone no. was provided to me to contact.

It was such an embarrassment for me at the airport as it was the only bag we had and the stuff was coming out of the bag (Pics attached) and we had to manage the mess that Spicejet gifted to us.

Immediately, we had to rush and incur cost of buying a new bag and we kept expecting a resolution of our complaint. But as it is expected that service providers don’t care about their service quality
levels and made our life miserable.

We have been calling on the number provided but have not got any sign of seriousness from the Spice jet side.

Such an indifferent attitude and loss of material and add-on humiliation and embarrassment at the very beginning of our leisure trip certainly spoiled our moods.

And even after all that Spice Jet is hardly sensitive towards the entire matter and has not given any assurance to
compensate the losses.

I demand an immediate attention to this and a one point contact deputed so that i stop chasing and recompense.

Waiting for a prompt response.
