Hi I had booked my travel itinerary from Bangkok to Guwahati via Kolkata on 25 Dec 2014 2 months back, in which Guwahati arrival time was 10:30 am. After booking, flight timing was changed twice till now, with the latest one being routed through Agartala from Kolkata with Guwahati Arrival Time at 15:30!! I had a urgent appointment at 1 pm and that's why I had opted for this airlines. I failed to get any response from Spicejet even after repeated complaints to the email addresses mentioned in the website. I am worried now that my flight might be cancelled or God knows what'll happen!!

had booked ticket from SpiceJet for myself & my wife - booking date - 27 August from Mumbai to Port Blair via chennai on travel date 8 Dec 2014. Following are detail: Airline: SpiceJet PNR: ZBJDXQ Name: Arun Chaudhary & Jyoti Chaudhary Travel: Mumbai to Port Blair via Chennai Date of Travel: 8th Dec 2014 Booking Date: 27th Aug, 2014 Contact: [protected] On 4th Dec(Just 4 day before my travel) i had been informed by Spicejet via sms & mail that flight from Mumbai to Port Blair via chennai had been cancelled & spicejet suggested for alternate flight to book. Subsequently I checked with SpiceJet customer care & i got to know that there were no alternate flight available to Portblair on either 7th Dec., 8th Dec or 9th December. In such situation as my plan for travel to Port Bliar was fixed, I cancelled the spicejet ticket & had to book flight from another airline & Paid Rs.20, 000 more for the same ticket. I request to authority to look into the issue as cancellation of flight had been done just 4 days before travel & due to it, i paid very high amount for the same ticket due to last moment booking on another airline. Had i been informed earlier regarding cancellation, i could have saved Rs. 20000 (SpiceJet Ticket Price Paid: Rs. 12000 & GoAir Ticket Price Paid: Rs. 32000) which i had to shell out due to booking on another airline on last moment. I request authority to help me to get appropriate compensation from Spice Jet for my mental trauma & big financial loss. I am a middle class person, such unwanted expense bother us a lot & hurts a lot. Hence, seeking an appropriate compensation. Regards Arun Chaudhary E Mail ID: [protected]@gmail.com [protected]

I booked a ticket for 5 persons from Delhi to Jammu (date of Journey: 19/12/2014) and back (DOJ: 21/12/2014) by SPICEJET vide PNR Number: O55PPS. Today I received an SMS informing me that the flight from Jammu to Delhi stands cancelled but no mention about refund. Now that the return flight is cancelled there is no point in taking the flight from Delhi to Jammu either. However, I am not able to contact their customercare since the phones are not being attended to. How to go about to cancel the ticket and get the full refund? Can anyone help me. The cancellation has to be done in a couple of days since this single ticket covers both to and fro journey.

The ticket agaist PNR Number O55PPS was subsequently cancelled by Spicejet owing to their operational problems and I was promised full refund of Rs.26, 140/- within 10-12 working days over phone. However, I have not received the refund even after 16 days since cancellation. Calling to their Customer care number is not answered and my E-mails in this regard are replied. Hi I had booked a tour (hotel + flight) to Amritsar from Makemytrip. In the package, I had booked Spicejet flights SG442 (Mumbai - Amritsar, departure 13 Dec) and SG443 (Amritsar - Mumbai, Departure 16-Dec). Till yesterday night (11 Dec night), the flight was not shown cancelled and I could confirm the same from spicejet website. I got the message from spicejet today morning at 9.45 AM stating that the flight has been cancelled. Spicejet helplines are non operational and still they continue to show them on their website as well as all communications. We are unable to find the alternate flight and our entire holiday has been jeopardized. I have had to bear a loss of Rs 14000 due to Spicejet. If they had informed us earlier about the flight cancellation, it would have helped us getting some reprive when cancelling our package or looking for new options. This is totally unacceptable and pathetic from Spicejet's side. I am going to sue Spicejet in consumer court.

We have confirmed booking on Spicejet flight SG 235 dated 25-Dec-2014 (from Delhi to Hyderabad) . This got cancelled due to the recent developments. PNR number is U93BPW. So far there is no communication from SpiceJet in this regard. We came to know all these developments through news papaers. Tried to contact customercare to check on this. The numers are continuously engaged. No luck until today. Sent 2 emails to customercare. No response!! First of all Spicejet created all these hardships to the passengers. On top of that they donot have the courtesy in informing the current situation and what they can do. Really a pathetic situation I have to book an alternate flight myself paying double the amount! Hope atleast they refund my ticket amount CG Rayudu

I have booked three tickets for flights from Kolkata to Agartala (both ways) for travel on 20th and 21st for inward journey and return on 29th December 2014 by SpiceJet Flight SG 817 and SG 872 (PNR-VCR9HK & VCR9HK respectively). SpiceJet has sent us SMS to the effect that our onward flight SG 817 on 20th and 21st December are cancelled. But the return flight is not though it is rescheduled. If we are not able to go, how can we come back? I have twice send email to SpiceJet customer service for alternative onward flight on 20th or 21st December or cancellation of all our tickets (six in all) and refund the total money; but there is no repose except the routine auto-reply. They are also not refunding the amount. Also when I look at PNR-A8UVFD status online, I could see SpiceJet is charging Rs.6000/ for cancellation. How could this fee be charged on customer if there is no flight service? We want full amount/travel fare be refunded to my account. Please expedite the process. To Whomsoever It May Concern, I have had the most horrible experience with SpiceJet. You would imagine that a company that is on the brink of closure would try and salvage some of its reputation, but that certainly doesn't seem to be the case. On 13th October 2014 My husband and I booked 2 return tickets from Delhi to Goa on the SpiceJet website, leaving on the 26th of December, 2014 and returning on the 29th of December, 2014. We paid INR 37, 378 for the tickets and the amount was deducted from our account immediately. We never received any email confirmation of the tickets (or ANY intimation whatsoever from SpiceJet thereafter) and around 10 days ago, I finally decided to try follow up. It was clearly our fault for thinking we could rely on the company and trusting that our tickets would actually come through. After roughly 10 calls to the customer service center (when I spent cumulatively more than 1.5 hours on the hold to GET to a customer agent, without success), I finally tried submitting requests via email as well as via the form on the SpiceJet website. Of course, I received no replies. After trying for the umpteenth time, we finally managed to get through to two customer service people today [Naina Kapoor and Ritika]. They informed us that our reservation was for 26th-29th November, not December. Clearly, since they have no record of any email ever being sent out to us, there is literally no way to figure out whether it was actually an error made by us (which is highly doubtful since we are both extremely careful about these things) or a system error, or merely a fabrication on the part of SpiceJet. All that these two women did was put us on hold repeatedly, after which we were told to "write to the CR dept". On asking to speak to the supervisor (REPEATEDLY) -- some mythical gentleman by the name of Mr. Ashok Kumar --- we were informed that the call was NOT TRANSFERABLE (in a CALL CENTER, mind you, calls are apparently not transferable!). They refused to provide any direct contact details for this supposed supervisor. And when asked for their Agent IDs, both these people refused to provide them as well. Finally, after about 45 minutes of being put on hold repeatedly (with tempers flaring on both sides), the calls were cut by the agents in question. The irony is that I don't think these idiotic call center respondents even realize that when they cut the call, the system takes you to a point where it asks you to enter an Agent ID! To summarize, the whole experience has been beyond terrible. I realize that since SpiceJet is going down the drain, you want to maximize on your revenues... but why make money off the people like us who have been patrons of the airline? And the quality of "customer service", as you call it, is simply abysmal. Not only do we feel extremely cheated because our money is lost, its also the inexcusable rudeness of the SpiceJet people that is so very disheartening. Of course, I fully expect that nothing will come of me writing this. But I felt it was needed. Honestly, I see why the airline is drowning. And it is well deserved indeed. Never again SpiceJet, never again. Riti.

I have booked flight from Hyderabad to Vishakhapatnam (both ways) for travel on 14 and 15 of December 2014 with PNR-A8UVFD. Due to Supreme Court order SpiceJet cancelled our booking. We have received below communication from Spice jet: “Dear SpiceJet customer (PNR-A8UVFD): Your flight … has been cancelled due to operational reasons. We regret the inconvenience caused. Please call [protected] / [protected] to be re-booked on an alternate flight.” I have contacted customer service and the have informed me that they refund the amount as there is not flight service being provided from Hyderabad to Vishakhapatnam and vice versa. I have not received full refund amount yet. Also when I look at PNR-A8UVFD status online, I could see SpiceJet is charging Rs.6000/ for cancellation. How could this fee be charged on customer if there is no flight service provided? I would like full amount/travel fare be refunded to my account. Please expedite the process.

Any number of reminders have not received any response and hence I am requesting your kind intervention to ensure that the amount is credited to the account from which the original payment was made by Visa Card.
