I am writing this to express my deepest disappoint towards customer service provided to us by Spicejet airlines. I had booked a Spicejet Airlines ticket for Chennai from port Blair three months before my travel date for 16th December with my wife. Flight details SG 277 PNR M7KMVZ scheduled at 12.05 pm from Port Blair. Based on this Spicejet flight I had booked a connecting flight with jet airways from Chennai to Mumbai.On the day of our flight we got a message that Spicejet flight is being delayed by 2 hours. Due to this sudden delay we had to cancel jet airways flight and book another flight with air India for later in the evening. Resulting into extra expenses of flight cancellations and re-booking of next flight.We reached Port Blair airport only to get a new message from the Spicejet airlines that the same flight is being delayed further by an hour.We waited at the airport for more than 7 hours. After which Spicejet employees told us the flight is canceled. No reason or explanation was provided to us. We were waiting at the airport till it was shutdown and we along with 300 more passengers of Spicejet were shooed out of the place.No accommodation compensation nothing was provided to us.We tried talking to spicejet officials, airport authorities no one provided us with satisfactory answer. There were no alternate arrangements provided. The following day as well no spicejet flights were available.Result of which we had to incur losses for our extra two days hotel & food. We had to book flight for returning home to Mumbai which costs us 51000 rs. All these expenses were unnecessarily imposed on us and we had to undergo immense stress and discomfort.I just want to know what is the liability of your airlines towards the trouble caused to us because of their cancellations. Whose fault is it? Ours cause we chose to fly with your airlines. Is there any relief that your airlines going to provide us in form of compensations for our losses. Hi Rahul,

I completely empathize what you are going through. I am also facing the same problem. Spicejet is being very uncertain and unreliable. Moreover they don't take the accountability or responsibility of customer satisfaction. If you come to know about stronger customer redressal service please let me also know.

I hope SpiceJet comes up with a sensible answer and provide you a good refund for your inconvenience. All the best.

    Am writing this mail after having waited for 17 days for my refund(still not received) for cancelled flight SG-524 for travel from Bangalore to Kolkata dated 13th December. Flight - SG 524 Date 13th Decemeber Origin- Bangalore Dest- Kolkata My PNR no - PNR-U7JWRM First of all, i got no email notification of the cancellation of the flight, only a phone call for the cancellation that too on the date of journey(Ridiculously pathetic and arrogant customer service from your side). When i reached the airport and told the customer executives present to process my ticket for full refund, then i was told that that it has been forwarded and that the maximum waiting time was 7 days. Here after 17 days, my money is yet to come. This is the last day i would wait after which i will have to resort to file a complaint in Aviation ministry for the scandal you people are playing(which i am sure thousands of people more would have already filed).The least you can do is have section in the website enlisting the refund status of the poor customers, or at least send out a courtesy mail telling us what is the status. I hereby ask you to again go through my refund status and get back to me asap failing to do so would raise numerous more concerns for your company.I would at least expect a phone call from your side as you people are least bothered about picking up your given customer care no, which never ever gets through.

      Dear sir, I booked a ticket for my brother S S Santosh kartikeya travelling from Hyderabad to Delhi on date[protected]. The flight is been cancelled on same date and I got the message regarding the same and told that my money will be refunded within 10-15 days. Still didn't received any amount regarding the same to my account. Please kindly refund my money as soon as possible. Do the needful.         I HAVE BOOKED FLIGHT FOR FLIGHT NO. SG -125 DATED 19TH DEC 2014 FROM DELHI TO MUMBAI. I REACHED DELHI ON 16TH DEC 2014, WHERE I COME TO KNOW AT THE AIRPORT SPICE JET CUSTOMER CARE COUNTER THAT ALL FLIGHTS OF SPICEJET ARE GOING TO BE CANCELLED TILL NEXT WEEK. AT THE AIRPORT SPICE JET COUNTER, I WAS TOLD TO CANCEL IT AND CUSTOMER CARE LADY AROUND 11.30 TO 12.30 P.M. GIVE ME ACKNOWLEDHEMENT FOR CANCELLING THE FLIGHT AND REFUND WILL COME IN NEXT 7-10 WORKING DAYS. NOW AFTER SPEAKING WITH CUSTOMER CARE, I COME TO KNOW THAT IT ISNOT CANCELLED BY SPICEJET EXECUTIVE AND THEY ARE NOT REFUNDING ME THE MONEY.

          My Spice Jet flight got cancelled on 17th Dec 2014 with PNR: L2ZH4Y from Bangalore to Vishakapatnam. Customer care numbers were not reachable[protected],[protected] though tried for long duration and was sheer waste of time and money. I received message informing about cancellation of flight due to operational reasons and gave option to rebook on alternate flight. I tried in vain to contact customer care..I have written email at spicejet customer care but absolutely no response. Hence I had no option to book Indigo for the same period at much higher price I am yet to get the refund due to cancellation. I was very much disappointed for your irresponsibility because of delay of refund. Please refund immediately and customers care, proper communication is very important.             Flight no:::SG521 Kolkata- Bangalore 04/01/15, suddenly cancelled. All other flights are extremely expensive which I can not afford.Call centre unresponsive --no reply. I have to rejoin my work on the 5th morning. Spicejet should arrange alternative flight on the same date in any other airline AT THEIR EXPENSE and not mine.               I had booked return flight ticket from Mumbai-Hyderabad through Spicejet on November 3 costing Rs. 5191. My flight got cancelled and I had placed a cancellation request on makemytrip website on December 13 with the reason 'flight not operational'. On December 17, I received a message from Make my trip that cancellation is successful and money is being forwarded to the bank and will be processed in up to 2 working days. Money has not been processed in my account yet. I sent another mail on December 23, and I was told that the money will be refunded by Spicejet. When I am going on the Spicejet website to check the status of my refund, it is showing the PNR as invalid. I want them to return my money as soon as possible.

                My flight from Chennai to Madurai on Dec 1st was cancelled by spicejet, PNR JZWCRB. Flight cost: Rs 3293. I was promised a full refund within 14 days but received only Rs 1668 on the 5th. Spicejet has breached the contract of providing the refund and also made me book an expensive flight instead to the same destination same day. I request a refund for remaining fare and no response from customer care.

                    My PNR is I6G87Z with spice jet booked for to and fro from Chennai to Pune and back. While their site doesn't show the return journey as in when I checked today I have recorded evidences on mail and call recordings to their call Centre of having cancelled my return ticket and non refund of my ticket cost of Rs.4156. Totally irresponsible replies and calls being cut midway by representatives, shows that these corporate thugs are no less merciless. It's been almost 2 months and my money hasn't been refunded. I request help.

                      The most horrible experience ever in my life I have faced with the flight of Spicejet. My return ticket from Kolkata to Bangalore was scheduled onth December, but just one day before I have been told that the flight has been cancelled and re-scheduled to 16th December 2014.I was surprised but still fine with it. On 16th december when I reached the airport I was told that there was no surity of the arrival the concerened flight. I was shocked standing with luggage and all.I cancelled the ticket and then re booked another flight of another airlines that time only with 23K, since I have to return that day anyhow as I have to join office next day. I am really disgusted with the service of Spicejet and determined of not taking any more service with SPICEJET! ADIOS!!!

                        I have a booking(PNR:-U5ZBQF) for around eight persons travelling from Guwahati to Ahmedabad and back.The booking was for Guwahati-Delhi, Delhi-Ahmedabad and Ahmedabad-Delhi, Delhi-Guwahati. Suddenly I got message about flight cancellation on 25th Dec. Its not clear whether the entire flights are cancelled or its cancelled for specific sector or date. Trying to reach customer care from last 2 days and tried more than 100 times. There phones are not reachable. Was able to connect twice but no response even after waiting for 20 minutes.                           I booked a flight from Kolkata to bangalore (sg521) pnr-R39zmy, which was cancelled due to operational issues (as it was informed me via text) I requested for refund but they did not respond. Their customer care number is deliberately kept busy to avoid any contacts with customers. I went to Kolkata airport spice jet counter and there I was assured that my amount will be refunded and will reflect in my acc within 15 days but again they failed to do so. As usual their customer care don't really care about customers. I have all the proof with me and will file a case if they don't refund. Seeking justice...

                            I booked consecutive flights of spice jet on 25 Jan 2015 and 27 Jan 2015. Now, spice jet has cancelled my booking from Visakhapatnam to Bengaluru (PNR N9B99D). How am I suppose to board the next flight and come back. The customer care line is always showing busy network and portal changes.spicejet.com is showing unable to retrieve information for the itinerary or keep on asking please enter PNR no. I want the solution in terms of booked ticket in other airline for the cancelled ticket so that I can board spice jet flight at 12:50 PM from Bengaluru to Goa on 25.01.15.

                              Spice jet cancelled 2 of my flights and instead of refunding the entire amount like they have mentioned they have deducted 1500 each way as cancellation. With no response to calls or mails how can I get this sorted? Please advise. Thanks

                                  My tickets for flight SG 331 on 23 Dec 2014 from Chennai to Kolkata and SG 322 on 28 Dec 2014 from Kolkata to Chennai had been cancelled by SpiceJet. My PNR number is P6EKWP. I had booked the tickets from makemytrip.com. My makemytrip Booking ID is NF[protected]. It is going to be about 20 days but I have NOT YET RECEIVED THE REFUND OF MY FLIGHT FARE OF Rs 10562. Makemytrip officials keep telling me that they have not yet received the refund from SpiceJet and they will refund the money once they receive the same. SpiceJet Customer Care is not bothered to receive my calls and send me an auto-generated reply for the mails. I want my refund. Please help.

                                    Hi Team, This is to inform you that I had booked a return flight from Bangalore to Goa for travel on 13th Dec. I was given flight to go to Goa on 13th but my return flight(PNR-K3MJ9F) on 15th Dec '14 was cancelled and i was sent a message just 3 hours prior to the check in time. I kept trying to reach numbers given in the message for more than 2.5 hours then i was connected to spice jet agent with the help of the goibibo agent. Spice jet agent(Anshu) gave me couple of alternate options which he himself agreed that those options are not acceptable in front of Goibibo agent. He asked me to take a flight after 2 days(on 18th Dec '14) but i couldn't accept that because i had important client meeting on 16th Dec because i work for IBM India Pvt Limited. I even asked for connecting flight but agent was offering me to go to delhi on 16th afternoon and stay there and catch another flight to bangalore on 17th Dec and i am sure these kind of offers will not be acceptable for anyone and agent himself accepted that. He also told that there is a flight to go to Chennai on 15th Dec itself and from there was another flight to Bangalore after 1 hour 10 Min but he said i won't be able to catch that flight because i won't be able to check in within 1 hours because i had to collect my luggage. I requested to connect me to supervisor so that his supervisor can coordinate with Spice Jet staff at Chennai and help me board Bangalore flight as soon as i reach Chennai but agent refused to do that and said he is been given clear instruction not to transfer the call to supervisor. He later disconnected the call saying he has already provided available options even though he himself agreed that those options does not make sense and he cannot assist me further.Concern :1) If spice jet really wanted to cancel the flight, they should have cancelled my entire return ticket itself so that i would have gone to Goa itself and got into this trouble. You took me to Goa and left me there without making arrangement to get me back to Bangalore.2) Who would be paying the money that i had to spend because i had to stay for another one day in Goa and spend lot of money stating in hotel for another day and pay for all other expenses.3) Why i should not be approaching consumer court for the to me and misbehavior of the Spice Jet agent. Because spice jet was of no help and agents attitude was not at all acceptable, Goibibo agent was also the witness because i spoke with Spice Jet agent on a conference call with Goibibo agent . i had to make my own arrangement to come back by another flight on 16th Dec. I have received escalations from my company for not reporting to work on 15th Dec.
