      On 09th June 2023, I had a flight from Delhi to Srinagar with a departure time of 10:40AM. By the time, I reached the Airport it was informed to me that flight got delayed to 11:50AM. I got my boarding pass and got security checked-in.
At 11:00 AM, they changed the departure time to 4:40PM, which was way too late. After inquiry, they didn't provide us any proper reason for delay. SpiceJet staff...

Hi, my name is Roma Gurung, I had ticket from Dubai to bagdogra via Delhi on 28th june SG 12, 22:45 and from Delhi 29th June SG 8903, 5.45 am but in the end hour they changed the flight timings to 0005 hrs 29th June from Dubai and again after few hrs they changed to 0105 hrs 29th June. And the flight from Delhi to bagdogra they changed to 10:00 hrs.
So they changed all the timings here and there and that was ok because it happens sometimes because of bad weather and some circumstances. BUT after we landed in Delhi airport they said the baggages did not come from Dubai, and I was asking the questions why, they didn’t have satisfactory answers, they only said fill the form, because now I had connecting flight to bagdogra at 10 am from terminal 1, I had to go terminal 1 from terminal 3. So I was asking them, they only said we will send u to ur home, just write some information about baggage and i did and they gave one contact no. to enquire about the baggage i. e. [protected], which is switched off and not working. They assured me that I will get my luggage next day, they took contact no but I never got any information about the baggage, I wrote emails and I made calls to customer services but I got only automated reply. And also in the Delhi airport I went to terminal 1 to check in but when I reached counter they said my flight has been changed again to 16:40 hrs from terminal 3, I was so disappointed and tired and frustrated. They were giving too much harresment to customers. Then again I came back to terminal 3 and came home without my luggages. But today it’s already evening of 1st July, there is no sign of my baggage, no status, no reply, no information, nothing from their side, they are putting zero effort to rectify the problem they have created, they have spoiled my plans and my vacation.

If this complaint can help me in anyway I would be very grateful, my flight no was SG 12, PNR no NYT3JP, my baggage no is sg[protected] and sg[protected], I hv 2 black trolley one big and one small.

    I was traveling on a SpiceJet flight SG-012 from Dubai to Delhi on 25th March 2023.

    After landing in Delhi, at the baggage collection belt, we found our bag lock broken and signs of pilferage.

    Based on the situation, we filed bag pilferage report with the help of Sagar (Employee ID: 136878) at the airport. The Case No. is DEL/1318.

    I have tried to contact the customer executives, the nodal officer and the SpiceJet team but there has been no response mail yet or any follow up with telephonic complaint also even after 3 months.

    I have traveled across the world but have never had such a bad experience.

    Horrible experience with SpiceJet. I am entitled for compensation or Case No: DEL/1318

              My written complaint – sent continuously to Spicejet since 15th June 2023 - I am yet to receive a response

              I, Mrs Flavia Magdalena Dourado flew back from Dubai to India on SG 14 on 15th June 2023. At the outset, I must praise the pilot who landed very efficiently inspite of the cloudy sky.

              Upon arrival in India, we were informed by the pilot that our bags could be picked up from carousel 4. I waited patiently and realised that both my checked in bags (weight 30.02 kg) had not arrived (Baggage tags 5836 and 5837). A confirmation was given to me at the airport that both my bags were not loaded at the Dubai airport. Why, may I ask ?

              If I have boarded the flight, why were my bags not loaded. If there was some discrepancy with the bags, I should have been informed of the same at the Dubai airport.

              As per regulations, Spicejet made me fill up a Baggage Irregularities form (Form No. 87815).

              My bags were delivered to me on 17th June 2023 by an agents delivery person Mr. Jitendra Jha. (Mobile Number [protected]). In his presence, I pointed out that both bags had been secured by zip ties. Both bags had the combination locks broken n the additional small locks fitted into the zippers too were removed. My teal Skybag was cut in one place near the zipper and the rear of the bag smeared in black liquid.

              In the presence of Mr. Jha I confirmed that the following items are missing from my Teal Sky bag :

              Cash 4400 INR (the purse was lying open in the bag).

              Lindt dark chocolates 7 nos

              Needler chocolates packet had been opened

              Lacoste shoes worth 269 dirhams

              Two gift items - plates showcasing dubai @ 14.50 dirhams each

              Two corn beef tins - 2 nos @ 12 dhs each.

              I need Spicejet to answer my questions :

              1. Why were my bags not loaded on the same flight that I flew in

              2. If there were any discrepancies, the bags should have bee opened in my presence, not forcefully opened.

              I have been continuously calling up the number given to me by the ground staff for enquiry since the next flight arrived on 16th June. (Number given was [protected]). My bags came on the 16th morning flight. Why was I not informed ? Why was I informed on the 17th late morning ?

              I am making a formal complaint against Spicejet asking for compensation of Rs 50, 000/- against my delayed baggage and reimbursement for the missing items. I am also complaining very bitterly against the lax treatment of the ground staff at the airport who instead of sympathizing with us and helping us with formalities was passing snide comments. She had the audacity to tell us that we should have taken a better flight and not opted for the cheap Spicejet ticekts. Continuous calls to the airport, customs staff and to the customer help line yielded no results. I was asked to be patient. My bags would be delivered. Yes, they were delivered but not in the condition I handed them over to the check in counter.


              It is the duty of the airline to hand over the bags in the same condition the bags were given to them. I am marking a copy of this email to the consumer grievances cell too, in the hope that some justice is done.

              It's a shame that a reputed airline like Spicejet treats their customers without respect and cheats them out of their trivial purchases from abroad. It is the airline responsibility to ensure the baggages are protected from theft and damage.

              I hope you bring the culprits to book n reimburse me my damages. I am sure the CCTV footages captured around the area at the airport will help you nab the culprits, if you are really honest and intent on doing so.

                I am writing to you in line with the below email. I had travelled from Dubai to Munbai on flight SG14 on 24 June. PNR NY8SRS.

                4 pieces of our luggage ([protected], [protected], [protected], [protected])
                were checked in at Dubai airport, but when we reached Mumbai we only received 2 pieces of our luggage ([protected] and [protected]).On checking with the representative at the airport we were informed that the remaining 2 pieces were not loaded on the aircraft due to last minute changes and were informed that the 2 pieces will be arriving very soon on the same day on another flight SG60 and will be delivered to our residential address in Dahisar (W), Mumbai on the following day 25 June.

                We have not yet heard back on the status of the luggage and when we tried reaching out on the contact number of the Spice Jet Duty Supervisor ([protected]) provided we are not getting any response.
                Attached is the copy of the Baggage Irregularity report we had filed at Mumbai airport with Spice Jet.

                Please let us know the update of our missing luggage as we need it urgently. I need certain prescription medications which were stored in the missing luggage.

                Please see our trail email sent to SpiceJet with all the details. It has been over 3 days since we travelled from Dubai to Mumbai on 24 June, we have not received any response from SpiceJet on our missing luggage. They are not responding to our calls and emails.They have switched off their mobiles and we are stranded with no access to our precious belongings.Nobody is willing to take any responsibility.The call centre agents are not willing to take any responsibility and ownership to help. Neither did the SpiceJet representatives at the Mumbai airport take any initiative to offer any assistance.We were only informed that the luggage will be arriving on a different flight on the same evening and will be delivered to our residence in Mumbai on the next day. It has been over 72 hours we have not received even a single phone call or update from Spice Jet which was promised when we left the Mumbai airport after filling the baggage irregularity report at the SpiceJet counter. The access to Mumbai International airport is also restricted so we have no way to contact anyone at the Mumbai airport and we have no option but to seek your assistance.

                We request you to kindly intervene as it seems many passengers are facing the same issue with SpiceJet for over a week and no action has been taken.We have flights booked to travel to other cities over the coming weekend and we desperately need our luggage and compensation for the delay.

                  I and my husband had traveled on 15th June 2023 from Dubai to Mumbai by flight SG014 DXB-BOM. At arrival in Mumbai we were notified that our luggage was left behind in Dubai and would arrive in Mumbai only the following day. We had filed a missing luggage report for our 2 check-in bags on arrival in Mumbai. The airline representative assured us that it would be delivered to our residence. However, our luggage arrived on the early morning of 18th June 2023 at 1230am.

                  Furthermore, we were asked to travel to the highway, which is far away from our residence by the delivery executive where we had to wait till 12:30 am rather than delivery at home as promised by the airline representative. He also took the (pink) copy of the missing luggage report.

                  We did not feel the need to retain a copy of the same as we expected SpiceJet to be a professional airline who would handle our personal property appropriately.

                  Upon opening the bags the next morning, it was noticed that the bags had been re-packed and several items such as new clothes, in use perfumes, in use makeup products, in use imitation jewelery, body creams, a model car among other articles, were missing. Basically everything that was good looking was stolen. A scented candle which was carefully packed was also broken. It was a rude shock as it was never expected that our personal belongings would be stolen.

                  Upon requesting for a solution and sending several emails to the airlines, we were offered Rs. 1000 voucher to use when we travel with again. Mind you, the voucher was given only to me and not to my husband whose luggage has also been tampered with. We were also told that we should have checked our bags on the highway itself at 12:30 am on the side of the road. and that the voucher that has been provided to us is a "kind gesture". I would also like to mention that the bags were repacked in such a way that no one could have suspected with their naked eye that they been opened, tampered with, and repacked again.

                  This amount and resolution is nowhere a satisfactory for compensating for the financial loss and mental distress this whole situation has caused us.

Now you have cancelled the tickets saying its available only 24th June 2023. And we have return tickets wide R PNR : RW04EF0203 for 24th June 2024.
                    My children from abroad coming and all programs charted out. So we were compelled book in Other airlines to pay more around Rs. 20, 000/. We incurred heavy loss. How can you assist me to compensate my loss.
                    We are my frequent & reliable travel Airlines and have very good regard for your services.

                      My spice jet ticket of Neeraj Kumar, PNR NO MHRIXK from Durgapur to Mumbai dated 08/06/2023 got cancelled as per communication dated 07/06/2023.

                      No alternate spice jet tickets available for even reschedule as it seems that spice jet suspended operation in this durgapur to Mumbai sector.

                      I received auto generated massage informing that my flight (PNR :AHM6VX ) from Dubai to Delhi, on 8th June 2023, to be 16:10 departure instead of 00:05 Departure, which will cost me to miss my work meeting in Delhi 11:00 am, further to the challenge that I have to book one more night in one of Dubai hotel as I was planning to travel evening.
                      that was after already cancelled my earlier flight which was from Dubai to Delhi on 8th June 11:10 from Dubai which makes me to reschedule my meeting at the first place and now after I did reschedule again, I lost the trust from my work management, thinking that I am playing games. and possibility for Misconduct related to my timing change, multiple times.
                      personally, i got frustrated from the changes in my plans due to spice jet unprofessional actions, further to the extra fees I have to pay for extra night in Dubai hotel additional to the trouble I am facing at my work.
                      further to my feeling as i been ignored by the company all the way first by cancelling my first ticket and later when they reschedule again without my permission.

                        I am writing to express my utmost disappointment and frustration regarding the recent experience my parents had during their journey with “Spice jet” .The purpose of this letter is to formally lodge a complaint about the significant delay of their flight and the subsequent missed connecting flight, resulting in unnecessary inconvenience, financial loss, and emotional distress.

                        First and foremost, I would like to emphasize the lack of communication and transparency exhibited by spice jet The flight SG8475 was delayed for more than 3 hours without any prior information or updates provided to the passengers. This unanticipated delay caused my parents significant distress and uncertainty, particularly considering my father's status as a senior citizen and my mother's medical condition. It is disheartening to see the airline fail to prioritize the well-being and comfort of its passengers, especially those who require extra assistance.

                        Moreover, the consequences of this delay were far-reaching, as my parents missed their connecting flight UK993 from DEL to MUM. The cost of rebooking another flight from Delhi to Mumbai amounted to approximately INR 27000, which is a substantial financial burden for my family. The airline's failure to ensure a seamless connection has not only resulted in financial loss but has also caused unnecessary mental and physical strain on my parents, who were already dealing with the challenges of senior age and medical issues.

                        Given the circumstances, I kindly request that spice jet takes immediate action to address the following:

                        1. Compensation: I expect you to reimburse the full amount of INR 27000 incurred for the rebooking of the missed connecting flight, as well as any additional expenses my parents may have incurred due to the disruption caused by the flight delay.

                        2. Apology: I request a formal apology from spice jet to my parents for the inconvenience, distress, and physical discomfort they experienced during their journey. An acknowledgement of the emotional and physical toll this incident took on my parents' well-being is crucial to restoring their faith in your airline.

                        3. Improvement in Communication: I urge “Spice jet” to reassess its communication protocols and ensure that passengers are promptly informed of any flight delays or schedule changes. Transparent and timely updates via SMS, email, or announcements at the airport would greatly enhance the passenger experience and minimize the anxiety caused by uncertainty.

                        I hope that “Spice jet” takes this matter seriously and acknowledges the impact of its actions on its customers. I trust that you will address this complaint promptly and provide a satisfactory resolution to rectify the inconveniences faced by my parents.

                        I expect to receive a response from spice jet within reasonable time frame from the date of this letter. Please provide a detailed account of the actions taken to address my concerns and the proposed compensation. Failure to respond adequately to this complaint may result in further action, including seeking legal remedies to recover the financial losses and emotional distress caused by this incident.

                          My daughter christinadhillon travel today 14-05-23 from Sri Amritsar Sahib to Patna Sahib. Spice person SpiceJet while checking misbehaved with my daughter due to overweight of luggage. She also want to pay for overweight luggage. But security person not want to listen her regular and insist to get proper 15 kg weight. But other student get 25 kg luggage. security person forced her to get Back her books and other documents to parents . due to short time of flight I was unable to contact that person. Please look into this matter.

                              I was trying to book a ticket on 25.01.2023 from mumbai to dubai . It happend that, the money got deducted from my account but due to server issue the ticket did not booked . I have raised my concern to spicejet people with around 27 mails, still I have not got any solution for my refund . I have connected to my bank as well and they have informed me that the money has been credited to spicejet account on 27.01.2023. Please help me to file a legal case if this can be resolved quickly .

                                Flight Cancellation

                                I had flight from Mumbai to Varanasi on 27th April. The booking of my family was done 2 months before.
                                I planned my journey hotel booking, return flight everything and then they cancelled my flight. They just notified this with with one single SMS that I missed to read.
